In a Truth Social tirade on Sunday morning, President Donald Trump claimed that Iran violated their ceasefire agreement with the US by firing shots at ships in the Strait of Hormuz and again threatened to commit war crimes by taking out the country’s energy infrastructure.

“Many of [the bullets] were aimed at a French Ship, and a Freighter from the United Kingdom,” Trump contended about Iran’s targeting of the ships, without evidence. “That wasn’t nice, was it?”

As Congress debates antisemitism legislation and the Religious Liberty Commission holds hearings on rising hate, a case pending before the Supreme Court reveals a more mundane threat: city officials who use zoning bureaucracy to shut down Jewish prayer in a private home.

Daniel Grand invited a handful of neighbors to his house on a Saturday morning to pray. The City of University Heights, Ohio, served him with a cease-and-desist order, calling his home an “illegal house of worship.” Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan then encouraged Grand’s neighbors to surveil his home and report any religious activity for punishment.

When a city criminalizes home worship, you’d figure the homeowner has recourse. On paper, yes. In practice, no. In reality, municipalities across the country destroy faith communities not through action but through something more sinister: selective inaction.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced Sunday that he intends to take legal action against The Atlantic over a recent attack piece that accused him of frequent drinking on the job and unexplained absences. The director has thoroughly denied the allegations, calling them “fake news.”

The article, titled “The FBI Director Is MIA,” claimed to be based on interviews with more than two dozen anonymous sources, including current and former FBI officials, staff from law-enforcement and intelligence agencies, hospitality workers, members of Congress, political operatives, lobbyists, and former advisers.

Among the claims were episodes of excessive drinking that allegedly affected his leadership. Sources reported that Patel had been observed drinking to the point of obvious intoxication at venues including the private club Ned’s in Washington, D.C., and the Poodle Room in Las Vegas. According to “six current and former officials,” meetings and briefings were sometimes rescheduled because of alcohol-fueled nights early in his tenure.

On Thursday’s The Last Word, MS NOW host Lawrence O’Donnell used a selectively edited clip to portray HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as a “deeply perverted racist madman” who wants to remove all black children from their parents and have them “reparented” by the government. In fact, the HHS secretary said no such thing.

The MS NOW host began his dishonest segment by claiming that Kennedy wants to forcibly remove all black children from their parents:

Donald Trump’s Human Services secretary, who was convicted of the felony of heroin possession during the 14 years that he admits to having been a heroin addict, is the first cabinet secretary in history — indeed, the only administration official in the administration of any President in history — who wants to rip every black child in America out of the arms of that child’s mother and that child’s father. Every single black child.

O’Donnell worked in the word “Nazi” as he continued:

Robert Kennedy Jr believes that every black child in America has bad parents, and that every black child in America needs to be reparented. That is his personal Nazi word for it. “Reparented.” He did not say that some black children need to be reparented by him. He did not say that thousands of black children need to be reparented. He said, quote, “every black kid” needs to be reparented by the federal government and institutions run by him.

We cannot collaborate with Democrats. Period. They’re insane, motivated by the overeducated, wealthy, white, nose-pierced, and blue-haired radicals that form the core of their political base. They’re held hostage by activist crazies. That’s why we need to eliminate the filibuster in the Senate and accomplish as much as possible, give our members something to energize their supporters at home, and stop the Democrats’ use of illegal aliens to boost their political power. We need to pass the Save America Act.

At the very least, we can ensure that only Americans vote in our elections. Plus, whatever economic action items that were deemed DOA due to the 60-vote threshold.

If we don’t act and Democrats retake Congress, the list of atrocious policy points here is staggering. Look, not everything will get passed, but imagine the disastrous Biden agenda on steroids. Here’s what the Left is cooking up, based on what Democratic operative James Carville said on the Policon podcast.

  • Grant statehood to Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, so that the Democrats can unlock 4 extra seats in the Senate.
  • Pack the U.S. Supreme Court from 9 Justices up to 13 Justices, adding another 4 Left-wing Justices to the court.
  • Reopen the U.S.-Mexico border and grant mass-amnesty to every single alien currently inside of the United States.
  • His advice to Democrat politicians: “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.”

We told you that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani would be bad, and the democrat socialist has proven to be as terrible or perhaps even worse than we warned.

He’s continued his antisemitic rhetoric and demeaning of police, wants to tax the wealthy out of existence (or at least, out of the state), and is striving to make DEI great again — just what nobody needs.

On Sunday, he announced that the city’s first city-run grocery store will open in East Harlem, and it will cost $30 million to build and take over a year to complete.

Trump could probably build a dozen of these for $30 million. Why so much? Union wages play a part, but that doesn’t explain it all, considering Mamdani had earlier promised five stores for a mere $70 million:

Even assuming New York City’s priciest union-driven construction costs, a standard-sized 25,000-square-foot grocery store should only be about $15 million to build, said Adam Lehodey, an expert at the Manhattan Institute.

“Thirty million dollars for one store is exceptionally high, considering land prices are a significant part of the capital costs of new construction, and the city has announced that rents will be waived,” he said.

– Defund ICE. Obviously.

– Treat ICE agents like the mob and throw them all in jail. Yes, over the crime of enforcing immigration laws. He also wants to empower the Attorney General to send ICE agents and leadership to prison. Again…for the crime of enforcing immigration laws.

– Bring everyone, quote, “kidnapped & detained” by ICE back home. No, not to their home countries. To California, which is technically still America, where they were living illegally.

… California politicians have proposed legislation to squelch future independent investigative efforts. Let me introduce you to Assembly Bill (AB) 2624, which:

  • Extends California’s existing address confidentiality and anti-doxxing protections (now used for reproductive and “gender-affirming” health care) to immigration support service providers, employees, and volunteers who face threats or harassment tied to their work.
  • Creates a new address confidentiality program for these immigration support workers so state and local agencies can process public-records requests without revealing their residence addresses.
  • Makes it unlawful to solicit, sell, trade, or post on the internet or social media the personal information or images of covered immigration support workers (or people at the same home address) when done with intent to incite or facilitate threats or violence, with associated civil and criminal penalties.

In other words, it allows bureaucrats to apply broad definitions and to threaten the actual journalists uncovering the types of immigration service abuse that Shirley has revealed with his work. The rules can be used to prevent videos from being shared on social media, and fines of $10,000 per violation can be imposed.

“California Democrats are trying to intimidate citizen watchdog journalists and protect waste and fraud happening in far-Left-wing NGOs.”

California Democrats have advanced a bill that aims to protect “designated immigration support services” from “threats or acts of violence.” Republican lawmakers have warned that the bill would silence citizen journalists such as Nick Shirley, who has recently released reports uncovering millions in fraud in the state.

California’s AB 2624 passed the Assembly Privacy and Consumer Protection Committee in an 11-2 vote on April 7 and was referred to the Judiciary Committee. Republican Assemblymembers Alexandra Macedo and Carl DeMaio were the only ones to vote against it. The bill, which has been dubbed the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” by DeMaio, was authored by Democrat Assemblymember Mia Bonta, the wife of California Attorney General Rob Bonta.

The bill would prohibit the posting of personal information or the image “of any designated immigration support services provider, employee, or volunteer, or other individuals residing at the same home address” online with the “intent” to “Incite a third person to cause imminent great bodily harm to the designated immigration support services provider,” or to “Threaten the designated immigration support services provider.”

The House of Representatives passed articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump in December 2019 over a phone call he had months earlier with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, alleging abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

While the U.S. Senate ultimately acquitted Trump by a vote of 57-43 in early 2020, the stitch-up had by that stage sufficiently muddied the waters and buoyed Democrats’ false narrative in an especially heated election year.

‘It is always worse than we thought.’

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released documents on Monday revealing that hearsay and erroneous claims from a few politicized bad actors who lacked any firsthand knowledge of the phone call were used as the basis to impeach Trump and that elements of the intelligence community were not only aware but happy to advance the false narrative.

The documents — investigative materials used by former Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, who got the ball rolling on impeachment, and transcripts of his testimony released as the result of a House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence vote last month — show that Atkinson skirted standard IG procedures and, embracing a kind of strategic myopia, leaned entirely on what the ODNI described as “politicized, manufactured narratives” without ever once bothering to access the transcript of Trump’s call.

Former Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) Michael Atkinson admitted under oath that he personally ordered a secret rewrite of the whistleblower complaint form in August 2019 that was used as the basis for a phony impeachment operation against President Donald Trump, going so far as to admit changing the form looked  “suspicious.”

Newly unveiled testimony from October of 2019 shows that Atkinson conceded the change he ordered to the whistleblower complaint form “looks suspicious” but said the timing was merely “unfortunate.”

“So the timing is unfortunate. It looks suspicious, I get that,” Atkinson testified. Atkinson said that after several media inquiries highlighted that the then-current form required first-hand knowledge of wrongdoing in order for a complaint to meet the urgency threshold to be sent to Congress, he ordered his staff to secretly change the rules so that second-hand hearsay complaints could be a legitimate basis for expedited processing.

“What I should have done was I should have explained when we changed the form why we were changing it,” he said. “I should have been more transparent about the reasons and the motivations for the change in the forms.”

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard has newly declassified documents revealing that the 2019 Donald Trump impeachment scam was based on the testimony of a Democrat liar.

A former inspector general fast-tracked an alleged whistleblower complaint that turned into the first Trump impeachment. The issue? That “whistleblower” met with top congressional Democrat Adam Schiff’s office before submitting his complaint and refused to disclose his contacts, according to RealClearInvestigations. As the cherry on top, the “whistleblower” was a registered Democrat, and yet Inspector General Michael Atkinson didn’t even question, let alone rigorously assess, either the honesty or motivations of the “whistleblower,” whom RCI named as Intel analyst Eric Ciaramella.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford released the newly declassified documents and commented in an April 13 press release, “There have been many questions and concerns about these Atkinson transcripts, which have been withheld from the American public for far too long.”

He added, “I hope that the release of these transcripts allows the American people to make their own determinations about their content. Thank you to Director Gabbard and her team for moving these so quickly through the declassification process and helping the Committee get them to the American people. I remain committed to executing on the Committee’s continued effort to balance the transparency the American people deserve and the need to protect sensitive national security information.”

NRSC Executive Director Jennifer DeCasper gave a profanity-laced response to the embattled senator, stating that he should not have joined Democrats and six other GOP senators in convicting Trump in January 2021, the outlet reported, citing multiple anonymous sources.

Just when you thought the State of California could not possibly find another way to waste taxpayer funds, lawmakers beat everyone’s expectations.

A proposed California law “would expand access to state-funded legal representation for undocumented immigrants,” according to Newsweek.

Last time I checked, it was not the job of elected officials to fund the legal bills of foreign nationals, especially on the taxpayers’ dime. While I am no legal expert, I am having a hard time seeing how this is legal, but draw your own conclusions.

It is almost like lawmakers took a look at all the fraud and misuse of funds and decided to DOUBLE IT. From over $100 million in hospice fraud to spending $24 billion on homeless initiatives — which made the problem worse — to the $126 billion train to nowhere — to its $114 million butterfly bridge — the state just cannot help itself.

Assembly Bill 2600, proposed by Assemblymember Mia Bonta (D-Oakland), would expand access to publicly funded attorneys for individuals facing immigration proceedings in California.
