Since the policy directs schools to assign rooms based on gender identity while restricting disclosure of a student’s transgender status, parents were not informed when the school reportedly assigned a male to room with their daughters, Liberty Justice Center claims. The district serves between 3,300 and 3,500 students at Libertyville High School and Vernon Hills High School.

The district allows for students to sleep “in a single bed,” as an exception to the standard minimum of three to a room, but the student “would incur any additional cost for this accommodation,” according to a copy of the overnight trip policy provided by Liberty Justice Center. The policy states that “students will be assigned to rooms with students of their same gender identity.”

Oftentimes, the left likes to pretend they don’t engage in political lawfare. Sometimes, however, they get a candidate dumb enough to admit the quiet part out loud. Angie Nixon is one of those people.

According to Nixon, it is a lie to claim she wants to defund the police, as she wants to see her political opponent jailed. She can’t do that if they are defunded. Duh.

I mean, Chris Murphy says it all, doesn’t he?

You don’t have to know anything about politics to realize she is an objectively dumb person.

“The fact remains that Ashley Moody is a lying, cheating, thieving, scamming person who basically took $10 million from sick kids for the Medicaid program. And she rerouted that into two political slush funds for Ron DeSantis to defeat two citizen-led ballot initiatives,” Nixon told CNN host Kasie Hunt. “She also voted to end healthcare for over 440,000 people here in the state of Florida. NYU student group demands 20 percent black enrollment despite Supreme Court ruling

New York University’s (NYU) chapter of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) is demanding that the school raise Black student enrollment to 20 percent within five years and hire more Black faculty.

Students rallied in Washington Square Park, urging NYU to boost Black enrollment, after a 2023 Supreme Court ruling in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard addressed race-conscious admissions policies.

Organizers point to a post stating that Black students make up 3.4 percent of the class of 2029, down 20 percent relative to the 4.2 percent from the class of 2028. New York City’s Black population, by comparison, was 20.2 percent in the 2020 census.

The campaign began with an Oct. 2 Instagram post from SDS stating that “Education is a Right[,] Not Just For The Rich and White.” The post lists four demands, including that NYU “Release detailed admissions and enrollment demographic data,” “Create a designated space for Black students within a year,” and “Increase Black enrollment to 20 percent within 5 years.”

SDS said in a separate post that “NYU continues to fail its Black student body” and that it plans to host a “Black Townhall” on Oct. 22.

One speaker at the rally said: “I started by asking, ‘Do I really belong here?’ Today, I think NYU has to answer a different question. What is this university willing to do to make sure Black students know that we belong?”

The WNBA‘s rulebook requires that players and coaches stand and line up along the sidelines when the national anthem is played. However, at Saturday’s game between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries, both finalist teams ignored the rule and left the court. The league has remained silent over the matter.

Reporters at Outkick reached out to the league, and the WNBA has yet to answer for the teams’ absences. The teams had been warming up before they left the court ahead of the national anthem, leading to heavy backlash from online users who said that it was disrespectful.

The 2026 rulebook for the WNBA includes a provision that players, coaches, and trainers must be at the sideline or foul line when the anthem plays, but nothing of the sort took place at Game 1 of the WNBA finals. After the teams left, they were back second after the anthem played.

Game 2 is set to take place on Monday evening at the Chase Center, but when pressed by reporters at Outkick, neither team said what their plans for the anthem are going to be. Users online were outraged that the teams did not take the time to recognize the anthem.

Federal authorities announced the arrests of more than two dozen foreign nationals in California on Monday.

The suspects are facing charges for illegally registering and voting in U.S. elections, according to Spectrum News.

The statewide sweep is part of a Trump administration effort to root out noncitizen voting ahead of next month’s midterm elections, even though data shows that the problem is incredibly rare, difficult to prove and has not been shown to change the outcome of races.

The arrests also reflect a further escalation in a simmering voter roll fight between the federal government and California that came into focus last week when the Justice Department sued the state and later warned that local election workers who knowingly process or tabulate ballots submitted by noncitizen voters are at risk of investigation and potential prosecution.

The Justice Department said all of those arrested as part of a sweep dubbed Operation Protect the Vote are lawful permanent residents — but not U.S. citizens who are permitted to legally vote. They are charged with crimes including making false statements on a naturalization application and submitting fraudulent voter registrations.

The New York Post noted that most of the arrestees “allegedly cast illegal ballots.”

Alexander Muñoz, a 72-year-old Belizean national, allegedly registered to vote in September 2019, claiming he was a citizen. He voted in 2020 and twice in 2022 and 2024 and allegedly lied on his naturalization application. He faces felony charges, including false statements on the application.

Four in 10 college students believe offensive speech should be subject to criminal prosecution, according to the results of a nationwide survey published this month by the Buckley Institute.

The students were asked whether they agree or disagree with the statement: “Offensive speech should be subject to criminal prosecution.”

“Four in ten (40%) agree that offensive speech should be subject to criminal prosecution, while 52% disagree. Agreement is up seven points from last year and is the highest in the three years this question has been asked,” according to the survey, which polled 803 undergrads at four-year colleges across the country in mid-September.

The survey also found 46 percent of college students agree it is sometimes appropriate to shout down or disrupt a speaker on campus, while 47 percent disagree.

Another 45 percent agreed physical violence can be justified to prevent a person from using hate speech or making racially charged comments, while 50 percent disagreed.

“They will all go to jail for a long period of time!!!” Trump declared Friday on Truth Social, sharing a Department of Justice letter warning Los Angeles County officials of potential criminal consequences for allowing illegal votes to be counted.

California’s next workplace lesson comes with an uncomfortable question: When does a religious belief become “hate speech”?

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1803 on September 27. Beginning Jan. 1, 2028, employers covered by California’s harassment-training law must teach workers to recognize, report, and confront certain workplace remarks.

The legislation gives employers a new assignment but leaves a contentious phrase open to interpretation.

The law addresses workplace speech that “vilifies, humiliates, or incites hatred” based on protected characteristics, including religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Existing training already covers harassment involving gay and transgender employees. AB 1803 adds no separate course or mandatory hours, and employers may write their own lessons. It even says training on unlawful harassment and abusive conduct can satisfy the new requirement.

Those limits matter, but so does the lack of a precise statutory definition of the speech the bill names.

Consider two employees at a California business. One is a Christian who says their church teaches marriage is between a man and a woman. The other is Muslim and expresses the same religious conviction.

The Democratic nominee for Wisconsin Secretary of State is JoCasta Zamarripa. If elected, her number one priority is to ensure illegals get driver’s licenses. It is unclear if she understands that the job title is intended to benefit the American people, not foreign nationals who have broken federal immigration laws, but I digress.

Did you need any more proof that the left is not working for you? I don’t think you do.

Ms. Zamarripa has pursued the idea for more than a decade. In 2015, she was one of the sponsors of a bill that would have provided licenses to immigrants who lack a Social Security number because they are undocumented or in the process of adjusting their status, FOX6 Milwaukee reported at the time. She called it “an economic development bill” and a public safety measure. The proposals she introduced as a legislator did not become law, according to the Heartland Post.
