EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Our Situation Reports are an attempt to capture the most essential bellwether trends of a covered period. This report covers the month of August 2026.
The report is divided into two parts.
The first part begins with our bellwether story of the month. Our bellwether story of the month is the Canada-US trade war.
After that, we have a summary of the major market indicators of the month, including a brief assessment.
We follow that with our “Agit Prop,” section, which features 4 bellwether examples of Progressive State Agit Prop in the media this month. Our report concludes with an overall assessment.
August 2026’s bellwether of the month is a bellwether of a larger story, the growing divide between Canada and the United States. Near the end of last month, President Donald Trump ordered a 50% tariff on major Canadian imports. This followed suddenly after the President claimed they were nearing a deal that would have avoided this tariff trigger.
This is our bellwether of the month because Canada’s straining relationship with the U.S. is a bellwether of the divide between most of the “West” and the United States. The growing divide is coming from the West’s commitment to progressive wokism and this administration’s existential attacks on progressive woke institutions (both domestically and internationally).
Canada continues to sound more in line with the CCP than it does the U.S., and its woke values are increasingly anathema to American ones. First, they assaulted self-defense by effectively banning gun possession in public, then they passed progressive woke laws that criminalized dissent from the orthodoxy of the new state religion.
Canada has effectively become a woke theocracy, making it more aligned with Hamas and the CCP than its southern neighbor. The fact that Canada is now in danger of becoming more ideologically aligned with America’s greatest rival, China, makes it an increasing threat to American security.
President Trump recognizes this, but “American” progressives don’t value an American superpower, they want a progressive worldwide caliphate. America the superpower defends nation-states from the world empire the progressives hope to build.
To progressives on our soil, the sovereignty of the American state is an ongoing enemy of the world progressive caliphate.
After President Trump announced his tariffs, the Canadians quickly responded with tariffs that match ours. Now that President Trump has secured oil reserves from Venezuela, it looks like the Canadians might be on the losing side of this trade war.
Canadian Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne announced, “… Canada will match the United States tariffs dollar for dollar, rate for rate. Effective September 8, Canada will impose counter tariffs of up to 15, 25 or 50 percent on 27.6 billion in imports from the United States of America. For each product, our tariff would match the American tariff on the same type of Canadian good.”
Canadians are already suffering, while Americans have yet to existentially notice.
The last act of the trade war that closed out the month was President Trump renaming one of the great lakes, Ontario, to Lake America. The message to Canada was clear, “we mean to assure your soil will not become bases for the CCP.”
President Trump said of the decision, “Canada treats us very badly. People oftentimes they’ll ask me who’s the worst to deal with on trade, and I said that’s easy. Canada, they are the worst, and they feel entitled, and just we can’t have that. We have a Gulf and we have a Lake – now all we need is an ocean. Maybe we’ll have to change the name of the Atlantic and/or the Pacific. Maybe we’ll change them both.”
What most Americans don’t realize is the world is reshuffling to match the reality of power it will discover in its quest to build the best AI beast on the planet, or be on friendly, flourishing terms with that best AI beast.
Every nation that can do so is looking to secure resources, through soil or alliances, and Canada is an emerging battlefield in that war, courting Europe and China while risking provoking a dangerous neighbor. This was the message Trump was sending to Canada, “we are a dangerous neighbor to those willing to bring our enemies to our borders.”
Canada’s state-run media, CBC, issued a memo effectively commanding its reporters to not report on 9/11 as if it were a terrorist attack. When they received blowback, they tempered their language. The RNC responded to this clear message from the Canadian government, this hostile message directed at the heart of the American people, by banning them from their midterm convention.
I would like to remind the RNC that the Progressive State Media, the MSM, report on this trade war in the exact same way the CBC does.
This is because they are all part of the same project, the progressive worldwide caliphate, with representatives at the highest levels of power around the world, especially in the “Western countries,” especially in the majority white countries.
- NOTE: “Caliphate” is being used figuratively, not literally, but the spirit of both the Islamist and Progressive Project is the same. They both require complete world conquest to bring heaven to earth.
There have been no significant updates since the end of August as of the completion of this report.
- 2026 ELECTIONS – ONE TELLING POLL – A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll reveals 36% of Americans trust the Democrats more with bringing down the cost of living compared to just 28% of Republicans.
JUDICIAL – The next U.S. Politics bellwether is Judgefare, where we cover more judicial actions connected to the midterms.
The key judicial actions have come from a SCOTUS ruling upholding President Trump’s Mail-in Vote orders and another from a Obama judge that, once again, blocks it. The Trump administration has already appealed this decision back to SCOTUS.
The Federal Judge claimed USPS was overstepping its authority by following the Trump order, which SCOTUS allowed to continue.
MASS MAILER ELECTION – Had the SAVE America Act passed, mass mailer elections would be a thing of the past. Voters would once again have to provide a valid reason for using mail-in votes over voting booth votes. Progressive rearguard protector John Thune made sure that any hope of passing the SAVE Act and implementing it before the midterms would die in the summer recess he facilitated.
The Trump administration isn’t taking this lying down, its assigning DHS agents to monitor the voting centers suspected of committing mass mailer election fraud.
We all understand where the fraud is most likely coming from, sand-bagged mail-in ballots created from the registered “voters” who don’t belong on that list, be they dead or a non-citizen.
The DHS is hoping to make it difficult for the progressives to deliver that last round of election fortification, votes in reserve to apply when the election is close enough to steal.
DNC-CCP – The ideological alignment between the rising star in the Democratic Party, the Democratic Socialists of America, and the Chinese Communist Party was made transparent when the DSA committed to following “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.”
This follows news mostly ignored by the Progressive State Press that the DHS discovered sensitive Chinese parts in American voting machines.
The DSA also openly announced plans to infiltrate American unions and turn them into revolutionary armies. Their goal is “to reconnect the labor movement to the socialist movement in order to strengthen the militancy and class consciousness of the multiracial, multigendered working class to fight capitalism.”
This “heaven through violence” approach to life is wholly in keeping with Chairman Xi, but an existential threat to the spirit of George Washington.
DSA – The rise of the Democratic Socialists of America is really the rise of the Democratic Party’s true nature emerging. They are the quiet part out loud. At the heart of the rise of Democratic power has been the claim the white devil invented evil.
With that claim, they have “convinced” a whole generation of white youths, especially girls, that the path to jump to the front of the generational power line is to destroy your own race’s good standing in the world. Do this, and you can rule your dad.
Though they are the children of the establishment’s claims to power (the white devil, and white savior lie), they also want to take the establishment’s place. The ideology of political violence cultivated by the Democratic Party through education and media institutions has created a monster who took all their lies to heart, and now seek to use those claims to justify destroying their creators.
Even the Unions won’t touch the DSA, choosing instead to not endorse any candidate where the “Democrat” is a DSA member.
The rise of the DSA gives the “moderate” Democrats a false counter to seem more reasonable, but every violently anti-American policy of the DSA is mostly the same policy of the Democratic Party. One wants to push on the gas and drive the car into the wall, come what may, for the cause of heaven on earth, the other wants to save the car and ultimately re-assert control over the monster it created.
One of the so-called moderates, Pete Buttigieg, is openly calling to end the electoral college and expand SCOTUS to assure the progressive state is the de facto new constitution (through judicial sophistry).
The DSA would simply dismantle the constitution, the “moderates” would simply “reinterpret it.” A “living document” is a dog whistle for judicial constitutional authorship.
It is through the DSA that Islamists have found an audience and a path to power. The candidates chosen have ties to terrorist groups and long histories of anti-American activism.
They are a great source for street fighters, and more than willing to use the white devil lie to create white ally armies willing to give power to people who ultimately want to kill them. They are the wanna-be white saviors not understanding how the story of the true savior ends, with his unrighteous execution, then his resurrection.
The problem with the Democratic Party is without the street fighters, they would have no real power at all. If the street fighters were not either called by the education centers and media centers or funded by domestic and foreign powers, the power of the Democrats would vanish overnight
Without fear, the Democrats have no hold on this land.
The DSA fared extraordinarily well this primary season, racking up many victories, including numerous U.S. Senate nomination victories. They also suffered an unexpected loss that might have shown the establishment Democrats are willing to use the Mass Mailer Election power against the DSA as well as Republicans.
They will enter the general election with a real chance to become the most powerful faction in the Democratic Party, and with a party in control of both the House and the Senate.
GERRYMANDERING – The gerrymandering wars this month were a plus one for the Republicans, who gained a seat in Missouri. The Democrats’ efforts to eliminate a GOP seat in Maryland failed after a Judge struck down a referendum.
TEXAS – The Texas Senate Race between progressive Christian blasphemer James Talarico and Republican Ken Paxton is a lot closer than some would have predicted. One reason for the close race may be the refusal of John Thune’s GOP to fund Paxton’s race. They claim they don’t have the money to spend on Texas after spending millions trying to protect the incumbent GOP Senator, John Cornyn, from losing to Paxton in the primary.
When a former Cornyn aid joins the Talarico campaign, like Jack Smith did, it becomes more apparent what’s going on. It also becomes more apparent the “establishment” GOP is the progressive state as well, the rear guard of the progressive state, as we are now calling them.
TRUMP CANDIDATES – Almost all the candidates in the August primaries that President Trump endorsed won their nomination races. This includes the late Senator Lindsay Graham’s sister, Darline Graham. She won her run-off primary in South Carolina.
One glaring exception was the unexpected loss of Andy Ogles, who lost his bid for a third U.S. House term to Tennessee Commissioner of Agriculture Dr. Charlie Hatcher. He has been an ardent Trump supporter, voting with Trump every time he could.
- JUDGEFARE – LOVING CRIME – A report by The Federalist connects the dots to the Progressive State’s de facto judiciary being created right before our very eyes. It is an institution in which the people getting paid to provide alternative services to incarceration are also the main fundraisers for the judges who favor criminals over American Rule of Law.
The report doesn’t connect another dot we suspect is almost as obvious, the funding of these organizations by foreign powers, including the CCP.
The reporter, James Silberman, summarized the progressive state’s judiciary versus America’s judiciary. He wrote, “For the left, the relevant question when it comes to criminal law is not whether punishment works to deter criminals or protect the public; it is whose power is increased and whose is diminished by the criminal justice system.
‘Reducing incarceration and shrinking policing are thus the mechanisms by which power is stripped from traditional, intrinsically right-leaning institutions (such as police) and given to alternative, leftist-controlled social welfare organizations… “
The progressive judges, at all levels, are becoming more aggressive and assuming more and more progressive values over American ones. For instance, they rule in favor of “equality” over “security” unless that “security” is progressive state power.
BLOCKING TRUMP – This month, there was a spate of rulings against President Trump and the American people by progressive state judges. Trump is being blocked from seeing voter rolls of progressive states, for voter rolls are the heart of progressive power.
The more they can create registered voters, the easier they can control election outcomes wherever mass mailer elections are the standard.
Progressive judges side with “equality” and “voter disenfranchisement” over what is basic common-sense total voter disenfranchisement by allowing such built-in lack of verification to an election process.
They free ISIS terrorists, fail to prosecute overt voter fraud, defend Chinese companies from Pentagon scrutiny, protect illegal alien commercial drivers from being detected by the DHS, and block the Federal government from being able to screen who comes into our country.
This all happened in the month of August alone. The month ended with SCOTUS overthrowing an earlier injunction on the President completing the work of the new White House Ballroom.
TRUMP WINS – We cannot yet count the SCOTUS ruling on the President’s Mail-In Vote order a win, as we covered in our 2026 Election section. Outside of that he did have a couple key wins, including the SCOTUS ruling allowing the work on the White House ballroom to continue.
An attempt to use barfare to target a high-ranking Federal DA was quashed when the Florida bar association rejected the complaints against him.
A Federal Judge has restored the President’s power to end deportation protections for Sudanese migrants.
It remains to be seen if his Mail-In Vote order will require states to verify a voter is behind the ballot or not.
- IRAN WAR – What is becoming increasingly obvious is the Trump Presidency is depending on an absolute defeat of the Iran regime for a number of reasons; one of which includes the AI war with China and the other includes the midterms. A victory in Iran would change the economic dynamic of the region, and thus the world, and thus America, overnight.
A bullish stock market just before the midterms would do much for the President, but a victory over Iran amongst those who still love America would do even more. It would restore faith in a Presidency being doubted by his own MAGA camp.
A recent poll towards the end of August reveals support for the war has hit an all-time low, but another poll shows Americans strongly favor Iran’s removal from the Strait of Hormuz.
As we have pointed out in past reports, the President has yet to advance an effective narrative to show the American people why the war isn’t in service of Israel, it’s in service of the AI war with China.
We have also pointed out why it is a risk for him to do so, for it will force China to engage overtly if he does. The President’s recent comment congratulating China’s restraint in the Iran War gives credence to that supposition.
This month, the war began with another tenuous ceasefire, but now such talks appear over. Rumors of the current Ayatollah’s death have yet to be affirmed, though it appears more likely than not that this is true.
At one point, following a major U.S. strike, the Trump administration switched to total economic warfare, and aggressively demanded U.S. allies follow along or risk being removed from the U.S. dollar system. This is a bold move that risks rendering the U.S. dollar no longer the world reserve currency.
Efforts by Iran to cut a security deal with Oman over Strait of Hormuz control were cut off by the U.S., who warned Oman they would be bombed if they continued along with the deal.
When South Korea refused to commit to full support for the U.S’s war against Iran, Trump countered by reducing joint military participation with the nation, which seems to be gravitating back towards China’s orbit.
All of this shows how committed the U.S. is to affecting regime change in Iran, to block China off from Persia’s ports and resources and gain a foothold to retake the vast AI resource-rich country of Afghanistan, which is currently in the Chinese orbit.
Signs of U.S. military fatigue are either being shown or erroneously reported. The return of the overtaxed USS Abraham Carrier group and replacement by a fresh carrier task force helps, but news over overworked sailors appears at least partially credible.
Rumors of low U.S. munitions stocks are not verified, but common sense would suggest the U.S. might be struggling to keep the constant barrage supplied. Knowingly reporting on classified reports that show shortages would be considered treason if a formal Act of War had been declared.
The Strait itself appears either largely re-opened or re-engineered for alternative paths that avoid Iran’s projection of power.
The progressive state press has done little to support the American war, rather they have reported as if they were in Tehran, working for the Islamists currently slaughtering their own citizens on the streets.
The regime is struggling within its borders, though no significant uprising has formed. Executions of protestors and citizens at random are increasing from the IRGC, which appears no longer able to pay its soldiers. Still, these unpaid soldiers have nowhere else to go, for they are known killers of family members.
- UKRAINE WAR – Attrition appears the name of the game in the war in Ukraine, that and its continued vanguard position in drone warfare development. It is now also becoming the vanguard of integrating AI into your war strategy.
Elon Musk’s green light on the use of Starlink to aid Ukraine’s drone warfare efforts could prompt the Trump administration to grant that power to Ukraine as well. This would be a major boost to Ukraine’s drone war efforts.
The Ukrainians are becoming increasingly good at using drones to strike Russian resources well within its borders, and the Russians are getting adept at doing the same.
While we get reports of strikes that kill civilians, the strikes seem mostly targeted for critical resources, like military equipment, oil fields, power stations, etc.
The war has developed a new sport, remote drone human hunting. People pay to remotely control drones that stalk their targets for some time before killing them.
The war risks expansion to a broader European Theater, but it has already brought in foreign fighters from as far away as North Korea. Tens of thousands more may soon be coming.
Russia is violating the air space of more NATO members and has now taken to threatening Britian with military action over its supply of drones and drone expertise to Ukraine.
Europe is responding by beefing up defenses, while Russia threatened to start seizing Western ships. Russia is also building drone bases close to NATO borders, and NATO members are noticing.
A sudden secret meeting by CIA Director John Ratcliffe with Russian officials (who may or may not have included Putin) was allegedly to prevent Russia from launching an attack on NATO.
This isn’t the only secret meeting being reported (yes, we see the irony in that). Another secret meeting allegedly took place between former European and Russian officials attempting to find a path towards peace talks with Ukraine.
In Russia, a bank run was triggered by rumors the Kremlin would raid savings accounts to pay for the war. That rumor was triggered by another rumor, one reported by Ukrainian President Zelensky, that Russia would soon be drafting 300,000 soldiers to join the war in Ukraine.
Zelensky still doesn’t seem stable at home, having recently dismissed a defense minister, a U.S. ambassador, and declaring he cannot hold elections during the war, even though many other countries have in the past (including America, during the Civil War).
One story that remains under the radar is news that Croatia has ordered a Ukrainian man to be arrested and detained for suspicion of blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline. The man is believed to be in Croatia, but he is wanted in Germany.
- ABORTION WATCH
Abortions are on the rise thanks to AI’s normalization of abortion and the ease with which women and girls can obtain the “abortion pill.” The ease of acquiring the pill is leading to spikes in reported forced abortions by men attempting to either cover up their rapes or free themselves from financial liability. Abortionists are fighting against the “stigmatization” of the work they do, murdering unborn children.
One state, Massachusetts, legalized abortion up to birth while another state, Virginia, has a ballot initiative to do the same. There are now 10 states that have legalized abortion up to birth, and those states have fallen below population replacement levels, a goal of the progressive state.
In our last MIA, we covered the Lindsay Clancy story, the story of a woman who strangled her children to death, one at a time. She hopes to escape prison by claiming she suffered from post-partum psychosis. A verdict has STILL not yet been reached as of the completion of this report, but the divide identified in our report has only increased, with Clancy supporters doubling down on their support.
One Clancy supporter was arrested for allegedly threatening the jury. She faces 20 years in prison for her crime.
Her story reflects the divide between the American and Progressive views of children. The American view of children is that we adults are here to serve them, to give them the opportunity to steward their own lives. Their “usefulness” is in their creation alone.
To the progressive, life is useful only if it serves the party or the person. For the progressive woman, a child is automatically an invader, a parasite, who must justify their dependence by being useful to the mother.
The story of a surrogate mother who fled from California to Texas to protect the baby inside her from the parents’ command to abort the child has become THE bellwether of the spirit of abortion in the land. One woman risked life and limb and freedom to save a child while a progressive couple sought to use the state to force her to murder the life growing in her.
California supported the murderers, and continues to do so, for now the child that the mother safely delivered in Texas is in the hands of the couple that wanted to murder him. They claimed it was a woman’s right to choose, until it wasn’t. The surrogate mother faces death threats from “pro-choice” militants.
- TRANSGENDER IDEOLOGY – A study by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has revealed transgenderism and militant accelerationist progressivism have a direct correlation with one another. The study’s title suggests the conclusion, “Where the Clinic Meets the Movement: Does Gender Ideology Arm Left-Wing Authoritarian Psychology?”
The answer, they assert, is a resounding yes.
Underneath the radar is the sudden suspension of charges against a trans activist gang with suspected ties to multiple murders.
The HHS has also uncovered $50 million in fraudulent insurance claims connected to underage “gender medicine.” The HHS produced a 64-page report called “Wolves in White Coats: How Doctors and Hospital Pushed and Profited from the Fraud of ‘Gender Medicine’.
A UCLA Student Paper shows how transgenderism is the tip of an American Rule of Law killing spear. This one is aimed at the First Amendment. The paper puts forth the assumed objective truth that misgendering should not be considered free speech because it traumatizes transgendered people. It gives no consideration to how it harms others who would be forced at the end of the government gun to declare beliefs they not only don’t share but stand directly opposed to.
This is simply violence as a means of political persuasion, a common theme in progressivism, but especially as it is attached to the transgender activists, including those recently nominated by the Democratic Party to serve in the national legislature.
The WNBA continues to be a bellwether of the transgender ideology’s influence in America. We reported on this last week in our report “Useful Life Versus Sacred Life – Two Bellwethers of the Great Cultural Divide.”
From that report, Paul Gordon Collier wrote, “Wherever progressives have power to enforce conformity to the belief that gender is fluid, they use whatever coercive measures they can to do so. Outside of civic and corporate power, street fighter progressives continue to physically assault and threaten to violently disrupt any public support for the belief that the female human adult is the only possible woman.
“The belief in gender fluidity in and of itself is not a threat to anyone; the coercive application of that belief is an existential violation of the root of American rule of law, the self-stewarded individual.
“In order for you to be American, you must minimally commit to the supposition that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these (and most essentially) are the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
“There is no liberty when the state or the corporation has the power to force belief on Americans. Such institutional actions should have never been tolerated, let alone allowed to become the guiding principle of these institutions.
“The WNBA’s response to a man wearing a shirt claiming only biological human females can be girls and women has been to treat him like a terrorist about to start a mass murder event. In the mind of the progressive, dissent from the sacred assumptions of the faith is viewed as being worthy of death.
“This is not an exaggeration. This is fact.”
Pennsylvania’s progressive governor, Josh Shapiro removed female as a descriptor of females and replaced “new mothers” with “postpartum individuals.” The singular act by a governor to fundamentally undermine a gender binary normative should be considered an act of treason, but in our land, we have mostly become inured to progressive violations of American Rule of Law.
The spirit of America is dim, though not dead.
The act itself is the state seeking to normalize compelled speech, especially compelled speech the state knows is not true.
To force a man to lie with a smile on his face is to own that man’s very will.
Perhaps the time will come when Shapiro’s simple gesture will be seen as the act of war against the American Republic that it was.
While Shapiro fights to institutionalize the progressive state, Trump is seeking to undo its institutional power, warning public schools to stop pushing child transgenderism, calling it child abuse (which, we would agree, it is). He is also ending Medicaid funding for sex-change procedures for children, which may one day be seen as America’s Mengele moment.
The judiciary delivered some wins as well, including compelling a settlement for a woman who was forced by a hospital to adhere to the woke standards of transgenderism, and a First Circuit court ruling ending a school’s prohibition on pro-biological gender displays.
- SOCIAL MEDIA WATCH – The frontlines of the global social media battle continue to be “child safety” and “misinformation,” with both becoming opportunities of revenue and backdoor means of internet control by government agencies at various scales, from nation-state to local.
Unless there is a massive reversal in trends, we see the potential for the loss of meaningful global digital discourse at a massive scale within the next 10 years. Nation-states and zones like the EU are becoming increasingly zealous of internet control tailored to their particular self-serving interests.
Social media at a time when many nation-states already know the masses are going to be “asked” to make great sacrifices for the good of the whole is fire to the flames they know they are about to fan with their draconian legislation.
Americans support stronger oversight of social media by the state, including regulations to keep children off of it. The polls don’t ask if they support digital ID confirmations with every internet sign-in as a price for that “child safety” measure.
Progressive Britian is still hoping to have such restrictions in place in their proffered Internet “Child Safety” Laws. China accomplished this long ago. Canada is working on similar “solutions” to “protect the children.”
The courts around the world are already delivering child safety “wins” to governments. Meta paid out $1 billion in one child safety lawsuit, and over $16.7 billion in a child addiction settlement. TikTok paid out $400 million in a child privacy settlement. A U.S. Court declared open season on social media companies, denying the lawsuit immunity claims.
Conservatives are in on the power grab, with Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz introducing five bills that require some form of age verification to visit certain sites. Many major sites, like YouTube, are included in that list. One such bill is called “The SCREEN Act.”
A progressive state surrogate, 404media, calls it a “Christian Nationalist Nightmare,” but that might be only because it’s conservative power that is attempting to define the reasons for age verification and not progressive power.
For instance, the website doesn’t seem to object to California’s recent legislative efforts to “ban addictive social media features” to protect teens and children. The actions proposed in progressive states are similar to what Ted Cruz is proposing.
For Americans, this would be considered an overt assault on our Due Process, Freedom of Association, and Freedom from Unreasonable Search and Seizure rights as citizens of a constitutional republic.
New Zealand hopes to join the growing list of nation-states using child safety to monitor citizens’ online usage.
Australia’s first attempt at using Digital ID to keep children off dangerous sites, like TikTok, has already turned out to be a flop, as children have figured out how to keep accessing TikTok despite the government ban. Now the question is, will Australia arrest hundreds of thousands of Australian children for violating the ban?
One story under the radar is the decision by President Trump to sell advance notice of his posts on Truth Social to a select group of high-end investors. On its face it seems patently unconstitutional. We covered this in an earlier Bellwether Report. Now, Truth Social is being sued for selling advance Presidential notice to investors.
- AI DATA CENTERS – President Trump has his finger on the pulse of the new geopolitical reality, even if he is unable, due to strategic reasons, to clearly articulate them. He is operating with a clear understanding of the necessity of winning the AI War with China and the EU Bloc, fundamentally (with the EU block being the only other viable center of power in contrast to the China bloc and the US bloc).
His strategic inability to articulate the AI War to the American people is not what’s behind his tone deafness regarding AI data centers. He is tone-deaf in terms of their real impacts on American communities. We concede there is progressive and foreign agit prop overhyping the impact of AI centers on communities, but they have a lot of truth to exploit as well.
We also question the speed and the scale the President is pushing for in building this infrastructure. It is a questionable strategy to go all-in too fast on massively expensive and resource-demanding machines that could quickly be outdated.
He is fighting an overwhelming anti AI data center tide. AI Data centers are becoming central political issues at all levels of government, from local to national. From Texas to Pennsylvania, governments are moving to ban or restrict AI data center development.
Conservatives are now openly joining the “winning” team. But not all conservatives. Some conservatives are hoping to sell the jobs the AI Data Centers produce, but this promise would mean nothing if outside corporations simply import their high-level staff and leave minimal career flourishing opportunities for the locals.
Taylor Budowich, president of the Innovation Council, is behind such a sales pitch. He exclaimed, “I think part of the problem is actually the premise, which is we’re thinking about it in political terms. I’m a believer of the Reaganism, good policy makes good politics. So the question should be what’s good policy here?
“I think good policy is not a single shovel should go in the ground, not a single slab of concrete should be laid, if there’s a data center that’s taking from the community. These data centers, this industry, shouldn’t be draining our communities, it should be feeding our communities.”
The idea here is to create agreements that assure local flourishing as a result of these Data Centers, not just outside expert importing.
Good policy is not good government when great power is the prize to be won or lost by “playing the government game.”
Budowich is either naïve or simply content marketing. Either way, it is not a serious proposal to turn the tide against what we even consider an overblown response to the threat of AI data centers, though hardly a completely unwarranted one.
Our trepidation comes from our skepticism that “good deals” will be cut for locals and good practice will be paid to protect the local environment from poisoning. Our trepidation also comes from our skepticism that these massive machines will long live out their usefulness.
It is possible, as we have suggested in our AI report, that, through IP firewalls, the state could effectively nerf, or cripple, access to AI technology at a global level, assuring the big beasts that tilt the balance of power back towards the large scale remain the “most advanced” AI technology in the world.
While that remains a possibility, we don’t consider that a likely outcome. We suspect garage geniuses are already inventing new methods of storage control, new methods of power generation, new methods of chip manufacturing, all lowering the demand for energy, water, and rare earth minerals.
One thing emerging from nations unable to compete with AI development is competition to become a region’s AI Data Center hub. Mongolia is an ideal nation for AI Data Centers, as it is largely uninhabited. With portable nuclear power, local power sourcing would not be an impediment. It is hoping to become Asia’s AI Data Center hub.
The Labor Market appears to have relatively stagnated, but largely because of the loss of government jobs, 53,000, as compared to 30,000 private jobs being created.
While inflation has settled in at 3.4%, it is not decreasing, therefore it has yet to fall below the 2% the Fed had previously suggested it needed to be before interest rate cuts happened.
President Trump’s recent Venezuela oil deals and Pharma deals could offset some of the real inflationary pressures of the economy.
One thing that hasn’t slowed down is factory construction. While the numbers have slightly retreated, with the ISM Manufacturing going from 55.6 in July to 54.6 in August, they still remain strong. Any number above 50 indicates strong factory construction growth. This is the eighth month in a row that target number has been exceeded.
Consumer spending has remained relatively flat, with little change expected in the August report (not released at the time of this report).
A lot depends on the ability of the U.S. military to secure the Strait of Hormuz, and a coalition of nations to secure the Red Sea to relieve some of the inflationary pressures on this economy. Some of that includes the increased cost for global shipping and the increased cost in energy, and the trickle up effect energy cost has on almost every industry that needs it.
Silently, a massive new factory infrastructure is being built in America that has yet to be fully built, let alone fully activated. But against that backdrop is the looming cost of AI that is, as of now, unmonetizable and likely continue to be when the bill comes due.
We consider the market highly volatile, though trending upward, especially for the American market. The longer the Iran War continues (or, even worse, the mullahs remain in power after the war), the more likely that economy will face a significant downturn.
- MASS MAILER VOTING – These two headlines capture the progressive state narrative used to protect their heart of power; fake registered voters that can be used to assure elections turn out the way the party wants it to.
Mass Mailer elections with rigid safeguards are still gameable through block vote harvesting. This is a method of gathering block votes for the party from whole apartment complexes, churches, mosques, homeless shelters, nursing homes, etc.
Mass Mailer elections without rigid safeguards, such as we have today, allow for the non-citizen, dead citizen, fake citizen vote, the ballots in-pocket, used only as needed in select races that guarantee overall preservation or taking of power.
A Trump Judge Called Mail-In Ballots a Threat to Democracy – Mother Jones – This headline from Mother Jones sets the tone by starting out with “A Trump Judge….” This lets its progressive audience know what follows next is on-its-face, common sense, as plain as day, unfounded nonsense of the highest order.
That unfounded nonsense is “Called Mail in Ballots a Threat to Democracy.”
The word “Democracy” is THEIR word, not conservatives, or even Americans. We both prefer “Republic.” The judge using the word “Democracy” gave progressives meme-able ammo; the very notion of conservatives calling something so “Democratic” as Mail-In Ballots is obviously ludicrous. That’s like calling the sun the moon! Or a biological female a WOMAN!
As for any concerns about ballots that are not verified to be sent by actual citizens who actually chose the selections on the ballot, this is what Mother Jones has to say about that,
“There is no evidence that mail-in ballots are ‘prone to fraud.’ An analysis from the Brookings Institution found an ‘average total mail voting fraud percentage across the 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022 general elections of only 0.000043 [percent].’ Or, about 4 votes per 10 million votes. Mail-in voting can be very important for disabled and aging people, who otherwise may have to deal with accessibility challenges with getting to the polls and access issues when voting itself.”

Homeland Security Agents Were Pulled from Major Criminal Investigations to Hunt for Noncitizen Voters – Latin Times – This headline would presume that noncitizen voters are not an existential threat to the American republic and the integrity of the whole election process.
The article goes for the jugular, connecting the pursuit of the removal of non-citizen voters from the voting rolls and the streets to pedophiles getting away with rape. They say this while they support mandatory sex talk by public school teachers with children as young as six.
They claim, “The shift affected ongoing criminal investigations as ProPublica found, for example, that an Ohio HSI agent leading a multistate child sexual abuse investigation was reassigned in February to pursue dozens of suspected noncitizen voters, delaying work on the other case for months.”
The article would have you believe these agents are all tracking down non-citizen voters handfuls at a time. Most of them are investigating previous and ongoing elections looking for evidence of non-citizen voting to arrest non-citizen voters and officials who knowingly allowed it, and to remove those non-citizens from the voting rolls.
We are a republic, whose authority is affirmed by two things, the will of the people for that government to rule, and the government’s self-restraint in recognition of the self-stewarding rights (expressed in our Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights) of its citizens.
This protects the minority from the tyranny of the majority. This is why we call ourselves a republic and not a democracy.
The progressives have long been seeking to remove one barrier to their power, the notion of the right of the individual to steward their own lives, rather than being dictated to by either the minority or the majority. Now, they even want to take away the first justification for authority, the demonstrated will of the people.
If the election has no integrity, neither does the Republic, or your Democracy.
- PROTECTING DNC-CCP TIES – FBI seizes Swalwell’s devices, executes search warrants in sexual misconduct probe – CBS News – CBS News is protecting the Democratic Party from being rightly sullied with the real story. The headline should read, FBI ABRUPTLY SEIZES SWALWELL’S PHONE AT AIRPORT INVESTIGATING CCP SPY TIES.
A shorter headline might read, CCP-CONNECTED SWALWELL GETS PHONE TAKEN BY FBI AT AIRPORT.
They start their headline with “FBI,” which is hated at present by their targeted audience, progressive influencers. This telegraphs the narrative to combat the real story; a prominent Democrat once thought of as a potential future Presidential candidate was having an ongoing affair with a Chinese spy. His sexual aggression with other women is what got him removed, but the FBI was there to find evidence that connects Swalwell to the CCP, not more evidence of his sexual deviancy.
Note they also leave out of the headline the airport confiscation, for it would create the proper context for this highly irregular action. They want it to seem banal, not rightly concerning.
- PRE-ELECTION DENIERS – Trump’s Plan to Steal the Elections Are Underway – truthdig.com – The progressives constantly vilify people who doubt the legality of the 2020 elections. They call them election deniers and take action to remove them wherever they can, on evidence of their election denialism alone.
Here we see pre-election deniers planting the seed in its violent audience’s heads that the President, the man they regularly call a fascist, a pedophile, and a Nazi, is preparing to steal the midterm elections. Surely that will not inspire more progressive terrorism, right?
The article covers a book called “Dancing in the Dark,” which documents how President Trump plans on effectively executing a coup to avoid being impeached by a Democratic House and Senate Majority that otherwise is sure to happen.
The article shares a quote from the book where we learn of why the President will be able to pull off this midterm election coup. They allege that Trump is in “full command of his office, directing the Justice Department, the FBI, ICE (the largest new federal police force in American history), the IRS, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Communications Commission, the intelligence community and the armed forces. [Under total acolyte Pete Hegseth.] He is using each agency in a coordinated attack on his political adversaries in ways that would have been dismissed as fantasy only a few years ago.”
These two are describing the Biden administration, and they don’t even know it.
To release an article like this in the climate we have today is not accidental. It is intended to incite violence against government officials, such as ICE agents and the FBI.
- CANADA TARIFFS – Here are two examples of how the progressive state press, from the peripheral Mother Jones to the flagship ABC News report on the U.S.-Canada trade war as if they were the Canadian Broadcast Corporation (a member of the global progressive state media network).
OH, CANADA: ABC Reports the US-Canada Tariffs Like It’s the CBC – Newsbusters
Newsbusters reported on an ABC News segment that revealed which side of the trade war this Progressive State Media flagship is on. They reported, “WATCH: Rachel Scott’s close to their report on Iran sanctions and Canada tariffs leaves one with the impression they are watching the CBC as opposed to ABC
RACHEL SCOTT: And, David, back to Canada. They are not backing down. They say more retaliatory tariffs are on the way. President Trump says that Canada wants the benefits of being a state without actually being one. But tonight, Canada is making it clear they will not be pushed around. David?”
Chicago Sun Times makes it super clear which side it’s on: “Tariffs, bullying behavior have Canadians rightfully trashing Trump.”
As usual, Mother Jones is measured in its response, not creating more existential fear and emotional savior callings, the two emotions most likely to trigger violence amongst their progressive audiences.
They went with this: Canada is Spending Billions to Help Its Workers Survive Our Tariffs.
At all levels of the progressive state press network, you can see the contempt they have for America, and the love they have for her enemies, be they Canada, Iran, or even China. America is not their country, and the Progressive State is not our country.
ASSESSMENT
As we have articulated numerous times, the world that was is fast disappearing, and new worlds are emerging. For the foreseeable future, AI power is the power that will define the reality of power in geopolitics and beyond.
Yet there are battles coming to a head that are centuries old but based on old realities of power. The Age of the Enlightenment has created the paradigms of governance that are now reaching their critical-fail points. What started off as a project claiming to offer greater human agency is becoming, has become, and continues to become as brutal and genocidal as the theocracies the enlightenment abandoned.
Now, even their myths are mostly dead, be they the myths of liberty or equality, the two poles of the central tension of the enlightenment project, trusting in human emergence (liberty) or trusting in expert engineering for the good of the whole (equality).
The age of enlightenment emerged when men believed they could understand heaven and how to apply it, without the necessity of God. Now, with AI, men can no longer believe they can even be fully in charge of whatever is next in their material pursuit of heaven, for AI is its own being, it has its own “agency.”
It is a power that can surpass our own.
The questions around man as the intellectual maker of the good will fall away as the questions around man’s material diminishment as the best material investigator to determine the good will eventually form the political factions of tomorrow.
We do not quite understand what that will look like, and we also assume there are many variables that could alter the exact potentials of what will be a new political dynamic altogether. A new word for “modern” will emerge, and “modern” will no longer mean “of the current time,” but of an Age of Enlightenment time.
Our top bellwether stories reflect both the old arguments and the emerging new ones. The new dynamic between America and the World is the fruit of the emerging new paradigm. The Iran War is a hybrid of the two. The 2026 midterm elections are a spent-out, last gasp battle of arguments that are about ready to die in the new AI order. Not even the white devil lie will survive the new AI order.
We believe an American Republic closely bound by our Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights is well-suited to thrive in an AI-reality-of-power world, but the path to that place is long and fraught with danger.
The divide between the progressive and the other major factions, such as the Americans, the conservatives, MAGA, and others, is becoming ever-more obvious. It can be clearly seen in the radical difference in rulings between conservative leaning justices and progressive ones, especially the late Biden-appointed district judges.
We are still hoping to see calls for American political parties to form outside the Republican and Democratic networks of power altogether. So far, we’ve seen third party calls not framed in Americanism.
America needs at least two parties, one party that looks out for the haves, and one party that looks out for the have-nots, but both bound by the same constitutional standards. No cause grants states and corporations the right to violate the self-stewardship rights of American citizens.
America has leaned into abortion culture, and it continues to embrace a child-sacrificing spirit. That spirit cannot flourish and produce AI excellence for the nation. The children who suffer under the tyranny of the child-sacrificing culture will be ill-fit to handle, to manage, to design, to utilize AI nearly as well as the children who grow up learning to become stewards of their own beliefs and preferences.
In order to resist becoming AI’s avatar, you have to understand whole system thinking, complex network thinking not strictly chronological, spatial, and specific. Literal thinking, the kind of thinking oppression of thought produces, does not produce people who can flourish in the AI reality to come.
Any nation-state that hopes to be on the vanguard of AI development must have children who can think freely in complex systems. This is why wokeness is on its last legs. This is also one of the reasons why China funds wokeness in America.
In Geopolitics, we believe many nation-states, including Canada, are hardly set at what might be their long-term AI-bloc alliance. What we see today may not be how things settle in the near future. We also suspect, in time, one or two other major AI-bloc alternatives will form. For now, Europe is both gravitating towards each other, while also still courting China, and, to a lesser extent, America.
Britain, Canada, and Australia are all in the EU Bloc orbit, with Canada being a strategic problem for the U.S., a problem the U.S. cannot afford to tolerate. The aggressive action by the President is no bluff, Canada is becoming a major strategic liability the further it drifts towards both Europe and China.
Canada itself could become a major data center hub for the Americas, but not if she’s an American adversary.
This month has seen the political divide in America continue to become more and more obvious, while the divide between America and her “allies” is also becoming more obvious.
In the background of all this is the continued effort in Europe to dissolve national identities, such as German, French, and British, with invasions funded by the states themselves. These battles are the fruit of Age of Enlightenment arguments. In Europe, “equality” has brutally won.
In the AI reality, Europe is positioning itself to become a harlot for AI beasts she herself cannot build. But the pushback appears to be building, and something major may be about to happen. Expect a report on this potential major happening in an upcoming issue of MIA.
