“For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another day later on. So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.

“Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” – Hebrews 4:8-13

Here is an update on our Hope Estates Project:

Last year, right before we were set to get our maintenance to protect our natural-gas powered steam heating system from freezing risks, we were hit with a deep freeze that lasted for days. To us, this was an act of God (in the figurative sense). While we could have avoided the disaster had we scheduled our maintenance earlier, there was little reason to believe we would experience the deep freeze that hit Canton in 2025.

Since that disaster, we have faced the reality that our project expense just doubled, minimally.

Now, we are having the whole steam heating system removed. We have had an estimate for a splitter solution, one that offers heating and cooling, but, in the end, we chose not to go with an option that requires many holes to be drilled into our stone walls. This might have been the cheapest solution, but cosmetically, it’s the worst.

For this winter, we are going to use a few industrial-strength heaters to keep our large spaces above freezing. We will be installing a new shower in one of our bathrooms and getting our roof repaired to the extent that it needs it. We have a slate roof that needs a good cleaning and some minor repair work.

My wife and I hope to be living there two weeks out of every month starting in the beginning of November. Once we can stay there, we can do more of the work that requires more elbow grease than cash. Next year, we will decide our final heating and cooling solutions.

Our Harrisburg project has seen a lot of improvement, with my brother Bill’s apartment mostly done save for some furniture that has yet to be removed. His apartment is on the third floor and the hallways and stairways are narrow, making this final move a challenge.

Once his apartment is ready, he can stay there more to help prepare the apartment my wife and I will be using. He can also begin to make more trips to D.C., where business opportunities abound.

The project has been challenging to all of us, especially because of health issues that first affected my wife, and now are affecting me (unrelated to hers). Even as I write this, I am battling an adrenal pots flair up.

Part of my health issues, though, are tied to this project, but really, are tied to my struggle to enter into God’s rest. Every morning when I wake up, since it became apparent how much we lost in the deep freeze disaster, I feel a lead weight on my chest, and the same basic thought, “how will we ever overcome this loss? How will our shared visions ever come into fruition?”

What began as a quest to build a Hope Exit Castle has turned into a quest to build Hope Exit Castles and “embassies” in four locations. Our second Hope Exit Castle Project in Harrisburg fell on us by necessity; we must provide for our mother, and help her fulfill a dream she’s always wanted, to see her property become a resource for her community.

Her dream aligns with our vision, so she has joined up with us. So far, we have myself, my brother Bill, my wife Jena, and our mother, Kymm, coming together for this project. All four of us share the vision, and all four of us hope to experience the joy and trials of serving our communities, one which we come from, and one which we are emigrating to.

Outside of us four, we have other people supporting us at various levels, some of which may join us more directly down the road. All told, there are roughly 12 of us invested in whole or in part in seeing this vision come into being.

I have such hope for all of us in our group to see the potential of our projects fulfilled, which will mean everyone will have platforms to fulfill their own unique callings to serve in the advancement of the Kingdom of God.

One of our members, Joe, hopes to use the sanctuary to run traditional Anglican services, which has been a dream of his for decades. My mother has dreams of creating gardens that supply food to the needy in both Harrisburg and Canton.

I have my own dreams, as does my wife, my brother, and the rest of us.

None of us have received direct knowledge from God about how our project will end up. God seems to have chosen to commit us to the work without the confidence we are “destined” to succeed. My wife and I, at present, have the most to lose if this project fails, and, to some degree, we feel the most responsible to make the project succeed (not that we should, only that we do).

The Apostle Paul had a similar worry. Like me, Paul was taking God’s responsibility, God’s will and purpose, and making it his.

In 2nd Corinthians 11, the Apostle Paul is excoriating the Corinthians for allowing false doctrines into the church and being seduced by “super apostles” who claim to have done greater works and performed greater miracles than Paul.

When listing the trials he has endured in the name of Christ, he ends it by confessing to a sin, the sin of anxiety, fear over things you cannot control. He says,

“And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for all the churches.” – 2 Corinthians 11:28

This confession of sin is a counter to his claims of endurance. He makes this clear by following the previous verse with this one: “Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to fall, and I am not indignant?”

Paul is a sinner, like us, a repentant one not walking in the habit, or practice of sin, but not wholly free from the heart of stone. As such, like us, he is weak, incapable of enduring the hardships he’s endured, and he is not courageous enough to face authority in the name of Christ, like he did.

The message is that the fruit of a servant of Christ is not in boasting of our good deeds, our miracles, but in demonstrated humility that comes through resting in the Lord, and not in your own works, “for whoever has entered into God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from His.” (from Hebrews 11:10)

What we have endured, the four of us, in different ways, for the past two years, has been a severe trial. Yet our trials pale in comparison to Paul’s, and certainly to Christ’s. They probably pale in comparison with what some of you have endured these last two years as well.

Yet even in the middle of this disaster, we have received unexpected blessings that will enable us to initially invest more in this project than we previously thought. We’ve also received other blessings along the way that have softened the blow of this unexpected setback.

Above all else, though I have struggled with anxiety, my daily meditating on scripture has given me a foundation of truth and a certainty in the end of my earthly story, which ends in the presence of God eternally.

That Hope Exit is the only one God has assured for me, so far. The other Hope Exits we are working on will be testimonies either to our weakness overcoming great adversity through the Holy Spirit or a painless learning experience for others. Those who follow after us might then succeed in bringing a vision such as this to fruition, in part through our failures.

Our vision, plainly stated, is to create a living example of a missional extended family living in mixed space, private and public, to serve the community they are in. There are many ways to accomplish this vision, and for those reading now who have a similar vision, we hope you are working to bring yours to fruition as well.

I have learned through the years there is one thing you can control in life, the commitment to keep trying. Whether my end comes before or during the return of Christ, I hope to be found working towards building the Kingdom of God on that last day, come what may.

Surrendering outcome is not surrendering excellence in pursuit of outcome, it is entering into God’s rest, which is the whole story of creation.

In Daniel 4, I believe the vision given to Nebuchadnezzar is also for us. His second dream, along with Daniel’s interpretation, reveals, I believe, the whole story of creation. In that vision, he said “The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.” (Daniel 4:17)

To “know good and evil” for yourself is to rule yourself, and the whole of creation is working out the cost of ruling themselves, of refusing to enter God’s rest and allowing HIS will AND desire to overcome your own desires, even your own will.

It is in this spirit we continue our work, certain that it will end in our glory, through God’s glory, for all eternity. Beyond that, we will strive to be good stewards of our vision without making the vision an idol. This means entering into God’s rest so we can rest in our work.

For those of you who pray, I ask you to pray for us, especially me, that we may be good stewards working diligently to complete our vision while also entering God’s rest while we do it, come what may.

Let us rest while we work excellently to advance the Kingdom, through spiritual battles we currently face, and the ones still waiting for us to fight.

  1. THE FAUCI DIARY

During the Covid-19 pandemic (or plandemic), our governments put party agenda over human life. Relying on the state for critical healthcare has proven to be an existential challenge to humanity.

Editor Paul Gordon Collier wrote in his August 7, 2026, Deep Dive “How the Smartest Man in the World Almost Killed It,” America chose a messianic General willing to play fast and loose with the facts, and willing to hack off body parts to save the whole, so long as those body parts weren’t his. That man was Dr. Anthony Fauci. He was once the center of power in much of the “free world” during the coronavirus plandemic.

“His decisions would not only influence other nations, but America’s inability to be a beacon of liberty in the time of coronavirus had profound effects on the rest of the ‘free world.’ America legitimized tyranny because ‘the smartest man in the world’ said it was the best thing to do.

“His influence in assuring the coronavirus plandemic maintained its emergency status led to the dramatic expansion of mail-in ballots, setting the stage for a 2020 election where more than 70% of the votes were ‘cast’ through the unreliable, unaccountable mass mailer system (which was even less reliable and accountable than the ones we have now).

“This would dramatically change the trajectory of America, from one challenging Chinese power, the International Order, and European elitism, to one that bowed to China, lifted up the International Order, and feted European elites.”

We do not recommend you entirely abandon the mainstream healthcare system, but we do recommend you develop “off-grid” healthcare plans so that if we are ever faced with another coronavirus-like event we can provide for our healthcare needs without having to submit to draconian rules to do so.

Here are three sources to begin your exploration of Off-Grid Healthcare:

  • Nobody Talks About Healthcare Off-Grid – Frugal Off Grid – This will introduce you to the off-grid healthcare concept, and even get you started on how to develop your own plans. It includes a video.
  • Direct Primary Care – Going “Off Grid” With Your Health – Homesteading Family – This article is aimed at people considering going off-grid, or homesteading, but it will help you build your own supplemental off-grid healthcare plan for yourself. Should another plandemic hit, you will be prepared with alternative sources for healthcare.
  • Healthcare Steps You Should Take Before Going Off-Grid – reThinkSurvival.com – This is another article aimed at people considering going off-grid, but it’s about preventative healthcare you can take in your own home (like having a supply of “brain food”).
  1. THE LAND WITH THE AI PRIZE – THE STATE OF AFGHANISTAN

In our August 21, 2026, issue of MIA, we did a Deep Dive on the state of Afghanistan. We wrote, “For most of its existence, Afghanistan has been under the thumb of conquerors who could never quite seal the deal. Its hope of achieving sovereign power in light of the jewels beneath its soil is slim to none, no matter which power, America or China, were to secure access to Afghanistan’s AI prize.

We assess that America as the hegemon will offer greater opportunity for shared flourishing for self-stewarding people than China as hegemon ever would, for China would continue to support the Taliban if they ever broke the factions.

The Islamic State has no allies, for its endgame is world domination, even over China, even over America. The other factions have strong ties to India, Russia, and some to Iran, but all have ties to America and the West as well.

The alliance of China, Russia, and Iran coming out in open support of the Taliban against Pakistan has strained those relations with the factions we featured in our report. Even Pakistan is finding itself gravitating back towards the West as it sees China’s closeness with India and Afghanistan as working against its own interests.

The war with Afghanistan has only accelerated that re-engagement with the West both from Pakistan and the major factions we cover in this report (sans the Islamic State, of course).”

Dependence on Superpower AI for your development, and even your own AI processing power, brings with it the risk we see for Afghanistan, the loss of sovereign, or self-stewarding power. In the case of Afghanistan, this has been their struggle for centuries.

For you, the rise of AI means two things, learning how to work without AI tools, or learning how to effectively use AI tools. For most, the latter is more realistic than the former. For those in the latter group, we recommend you make it a regular habit to utilize multiple AI agents, including open-source AI agents. This will prevent you from becoming too attached or dependent on one AI “voice.” It will also get you overall better results, especially with research.

We utilize multiple AIs during our research process, asking each one the same probing question.

For Afghanistan, their lack of sovereignty will be born from their dependence on a superpower to secure their lands and develop their mineral prizes. For you, AI dependence, especially on superpower AI, is risking becoming propagandized by those same tools.

Here are resources to help you prepare for a world with AI without becoming AI’s tool:

  1. USEFUL LIFE VERSUS SACRED LIFE

In our August 28, 2026, Weekly issue of MIA, Paul Gordon Collier analyzed two separate news stories that both served as bellwethers for the existential cultural divide in America today.

Paul wrote, “It is white progressive women in particular who have served as the frontline assassins of whites, males, heterosexuals, cis-gendered, and white-aligned Americans. Were they to surrender the trans to science, they would lose their savior status and be just another guilty white person in need of accountability.

“The Pink-shirted Ladies of Lindsay are the epitome of this spirit as it moves past childbearing age and settles into empty high-rise apartments. If Lindsay is guilty of murder, so are they, and they know it. Progressive women alone account for more than 57% of abortions, yet they represent less than 1/3 of the female population.

“These aging women have now hit their 40s and 50s, and they have only become more committed to violence as a means of political persuasion. They must, I think, sense a world that comes to see the nature of their murder-justifying lies will soon remove them from power, or worse. At this point, they have everything to lose and nothing to gain if they surrender, for losing means losing everything, and winning is all that matters now.

“They have engaged in decades of child murder and political corporate assassinations, and a world that rejects progressivism will soon not only reject them, but it will also prosecute them. They won’t be prosecuted for murdering the unborn, they will be prosecuted for committing treason, child abuse, and racist, sexist, hetero-phobic discrimination.

“Their habit of evil has caused them to go all in on that same evil, by any means necessary, for the good of their high-rise apartments.

“We are seeing the final desperate push by the white woman progressive army to hold on to their power. They must fight off their victims, the American people, and the disenfranchised classes they’ve ‘served,’ classes now ready to throw their saviors out.”

Our Final Thought in that same issue, by Bill Collier, was about anchoring yourself in times of great ideological uncertainty. What we see here is a fundamental break with basic reality by a significant percentage of our population. This group holds great administrative power in most “American” institutions.

So many of our readers, and their family and friends, find themselves still trapped in institutions controlled by progressives; some are even public-school teachers attempting to preserve some semblance of Americanism in a system increasingly hostile to them.

Bill Collier wrote in his Final Thought, “Becoming aware of your own paradigms, and how they may contrast or align with others, is essential to navigating your path through the uncertainty and chaos we have faced (and will most likely continue to face for the foreseeable future).”

When do we fight defiantly within those institutions and where must you hold your fire?

To understand that question, you must first understand what is most essential to your belief system. To understand that you must understand what your core belief system really is.

Here are some resources that, in total, can give you a starting point for plumblining your own beliefs. From there, you can act more confidently, and with more courage, once you choose to act defiantly against the progressive state.

  • The Plumb Line – New Life – This is an essay about how to plumbline your own belief with scripture. This assumes you have already plumblined your own belief that scripture is your primary source for wisdom.
  • How to Chane Core Beliefs: Evidence-Based Strategies – HealthSpectra – This is a material approach to plumblining belief, so be cautious in how you approach this if you are Christian. Yet even for the Christian, there is practical value contained here, so long as you frame it within the boundaries of God’s Word.
  • How I Discovered My Core Beliefs (And How You Can Find Yours – Dr. Paul McCarthy – This essay points you to therapy, but within it is a good guide for how to identify what your core beliefs are.
  • Own Your beliefs – Under the Ancient Oaks – John Beckett – Christians beware, this is a self-confessed “pagan” writing here. He also uses the word “own,” which we assume is not actually possible for beings of limited understanding. This is why we say, “steward your beliefs,” not own them. Yet, even as God used evil for good through Pharoah and the 10 sons of Jacob who sold their brother into slavery, so too can you find good things in this essay. There are basic principles here that can help you determine what in you is stewarded and what in you has been blindly assumed.

One principle in the last article that is more important than all others is “You don’t have to figure out everything yourself,” which could be amended to include, “nor can you.”

GLOBAL OUTLOOK

  1. BIDEN’S FBI KILLED INVESTIGATIONS INTO FAMILY CORRUPTION – The FBI under President Biden ran a covert operation designed to neutralize any effort to investigate allegations of corruption by the Biden family. The operation was called “Rounded River.” The Trump White House Transparency Task Force released their findings this past month.
  2. LETITIA JAMES EXPOSED BY IN-HOUSE WHISTLEBLOWER – Assistant Attorney General Daniel Wiesenfeld is claiming Lawfare prosecutor Letitia James’ office is instructing their attorneys to find reasons to prosecute President Trump and his allies. Wiesenfeld claimed his supervisors told him “to find and pursue crimes committed by specific individuals and organizations affiliated with Donald Trump.”
  3. THUNE LETS SAVE ACT DIE – The SAVE Act, aka the SAVE America Act, came closer to not being passed before the summer recess thanks to Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD). The last attempt failed to pass by a vote of 48-50.

It now appears increasingly likely that mass mailer elections will continue at least until 2026, giving Democrats a decided advantage. For the progressive state press, this defeat of Voter ID legislation was celebrated.

  1. SCOTUS UPHOLDS TRUMP MAIL-IN VOTING ORDER – A Supreme Court ruling will allow the Trump administration’s Mail-in Voting Executive Order to take effect in the 2026 midterm election. The order requires states to have “unique ballot envelope identifiers, such as bar codes, [to] enable confirmation that only citizens receive and cast ballots, reducing the risk of fraud and protecting the integrity of Federal elections.”

The final ruling was 6-3, with the three progressive judges dissenting. The ruling did not determine if the executive order was legal, it only determined the states had no standing because they offered no proof of “concrete” harm by the order, claiming their arguments were only “conjecture.” Legal challenges are already happening, with one Obama judge already suspending Trump’s order after the SCOTUS Ruling.

  1. U.S SWITCHES TO ECONOMIC WARFARE AGAINST IRAN – The Strait of Hormuz appears to be mostly opened, but not fully safe. The Trump administration has ended all negotiations with Iran, demanding total surrender. The U.S. has switched to economic warfare against Iran, of a scale never seen before. They’ve warned their allies that any refusal to go along with the U.S. plan will result in them being removed from the U.S. dollar system.

  1. CCP RUNNING OUTREACH PROGRAMS IN 83 U.S. COLLEGES – The Chinese Communist Party has been allowed to set up propaganda outreach programs in 83 U.S. Colleges according to a report by Defending Education.

The report claims the program is called “The Young Envoys Scholarship,” which sends 50,000 U.S. students to study or visit China. The program is “run by the China Education Association for International Exchange, an organization guided by ‘Marxism-Leninism’ and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism.”

  1. EU’S AI ACT KICKS IN – Starting this Sunday, the EU’s new AI Act begins to take effect, which includes key provisions empowering the EU to regulate AI models and apply fines to companies that fall out of compliance. The law also gives the EU investigatory powers to penalize non-cooperating companies and individuals.

The Act itself presents a challenge to AI geopolitical realities of power as nations and associations like the EU attempt to use domestic laws to affect foreign AI powers. For instance, the fines countries give to foreign companies due to non-compliance with their AI rules could become weapons of war in the AI geopolitical reality of power.

  1. ISRAEL SAYS NO TO GAZA WITHDRAWAL – Israel has informed the United States that it will not agree to any deal with Hamas that does not include their complete disarmament. As a response, the U.S.’s negotiator, Jared Kushner, stated “We will not allow Gaza to be rebuilt until the demilitarization occurs. Nobody wants to put more money into a place that’s gone on for so long if it’s just going to be taken over by terrorists or blown up again.”
  2. META SECURES A $16.7 BILLION CHILD ADDICTION SETTLEMENT – A Federal lawsuit against social media giant Meta has been settled. Meta has agreed to pay $16.7 billion in an agreement with multiple states Attorney Generals. California is one of the states, but Texas and other large states are not. The lawsuit charged Meta with facilitating childhood social media addiction.

California State AG Rob Bonta said of the settlement, “Today, we have secured a settlement with Meta that will make social media less dangerous for our kids and make a world of a difference for children and their families,” Bonta said in a statement. “Meta has agreed to make massive transformations that will reduce the risk of harm from its platforms — and will do it within months.”

  1. AG BLANCHE BARELY BREAKS CONFIRMATION MINIMUM – In a 50-49 vote, acting Attorney General Todd Blanche was confirmed by the U.S. Senate as the now official Attorney General. He received no Democrat votes, with two Republicans, Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins, voting against him. The vote came down to Bill Cassidy (R-LA).

He gave a statement after his vote for Blanche, saying “Mr. Blanche is not perfect, and he will tell you this. But the choice is not between perfection and Mr. Blanche. It is between Mr. Blanche and another acting attorney general who may not run the department effectively under President Trump and who indeed may not be as good as Mr. Blanche.”

  1. DEMS WIN IN SENATE CR BILL – The Senate Voted 90-6 to pass short-term funding for the government just before they went on summer recess. The Senate failed to pass the SAVE Act, which would require Voter ID and same-day voting, but managed to pass a CR that protects Democrats’ social programs from Trump cuts through executive orders.
  2. CANADA-US TRADE WAR IS ON – After President Trump announced new tariffs targeting Canada, Mark Carney’s administration has responded by meeting Trump’s tariffs with similar ones of his own. U.S. progressive state media has reported on the trade war decidedly from a pro-Canadian perspective.

During the trade war, Alberta continues to go forward with a referendum to secede from Canada. Canada’s progressive state press have now taken to refuse to refer to 9/11 as a terrorist act, telegraphing open hostility to America.

  1. RUSSIA THREATENS ESCALATION, ZELENSKY SAYS ELECTIONS ARE TOO DANGEROUS – President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine has made it clear he has no intentions of holding elections during the war with Russia. He claimed election in wartime would put the country at risk. A trip by CIA Chief Scott Bessent to Moscow was triggered by Russia’s preparation to launch an attack on NATO, unnamed sources claim.

  1. PROGRESSIVE STATE DISTRICT ATTORNEYS FORMED CONFIDENTIAL GROUP TO PLOT JUDGEFARE ASSAULT ON TRUMP PRESIDENCY – Democrat State Attorneys from across the country were coordinating their efforts to plot legal entanglements for President Trump before the 2024 election, while Biden was still running against Trump.

The group was called “Privileged & Confidential Common Interest Agreement.” It was a secret society of progressive DAs who wanted to go outside the bounds of government accountability record-keeping to plot their intentions to sabotage the Trump Presidency. What hasn’t been revealed is whether progressive judges were in that group.

  1. APOCALYPTIC FLASH FLOOD DEVASTATES TIBET AND NEPAL – Major flash floods from a glacial collapse devastated parts of Tibet and Nepal, with Nepal being the hardest hit. The flash floods removed whole villages, hitting them with 30-plus-foot high walls. The alleged current death toll stands at around 1,000, with thousands reported missing. The true death toll may be much higher. There were scores of foreigners among the dead, including 60-plus Americans. They were there to make Hindu pilgrimages.
  2. ANTI-JOURNALIST LAW SIGNED BY GAVIN NEWSOME – California’s Progressive Governor, Gavin Newsome, has signed the “Stop Nick Shirley” Act into law. The law makes it illegal for reporters to question immigration service providers on film and share the results online. The law selectively protects a certain class of people from American journalism. The law is sure to be challenged in the courts.

The law takes effect October 1, 2027. Progressive Assemblywoman Mia Bonta, who introduced the bill, claimed, “Our immigrant service providers are living in fear because of extremists looking to demonize the work that they do and the populations they serve.” This is not Americanism, this is progressivism. We are different nations altogether.

  1. DISTRICT JUDGE BLOCKS 75-NATION VISA BAN – U.S. District Judge Jeanette Vargas struck down the Trump administration’s pause on issuing visas to 75 countries. The judge claimed Secretary of State Marco Rubio exceeded his legal authority. She asserts consular authority trumps Secretary of State authority. The judge is another Biden-appointed District Judge. The ruling has been appealed.
  2. SWALWELL GETS PHONE TAKEN BY FBI AT AIRPORT – Progressive anti-Americanist Eric Swalwell, the former congressman from California removed for ethics violations, had his phone seized from him by the FBI. He was met at the San Francisco Airport by FBI Agents. This action comes after evidence has emerged that shows he knew his former lover was a Chinese spy.
  3. ANOTHER STATE LEGALIZES ABORTION UP TO BIRTH – Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey held a signing ceremony with herself and abortion-supporting women to celebrate the signing of a bill legalizing abortion up to birth. A law already existed that allowed “late-term abortions” to protect the life of the mother.

Now, a woman or girl need not give any reason to demand doctors murder her unborn child, even if it’s on the day of the child’s scheduled delivery. In the 2024 election, Democrats claimed no one was suggesting legalizing abortions up to birth. Now, 10 states have passed laws allowing abortion up to birth. Massachusetts became the 10th state.

  1. MIXED NIGHT FOR DSA IN LATEST PRIMARY ROUND – In Michigan, the DSA won the Democratic nominations for U.S. Senate and the 13th U.S. House but lost the 7th House Race and the Governors’ Race. On Thursday, a Trump-backed U.S. House candidate lost in an upset. Andy Ogles (R-KY) lost his primary race to Charlie Hatcher. He is the incumbent, and a reliable Trump ally.

In Missouri, the “moderate’ Democrat defeated the far-left progressive in the Missouri 1st House. In Virginia, the “moderate” Democrats won most House races. For Tuesday’s Trump-endorsed candidates, it was a near sweep in all races, which include Michigan, Missouri, Kansas, Virginia, and Washington.

  1. WAPO “LEAKERS” CALLED TREASONOUS BY TRUMP AFTER CLAIMING U.S. LOW IN MUNITIONS – After a Washington Post article claimed an “insider” revealed to them that U.S. long-range munitions were running low due to the Iran war, President Trump accused the “leakers” of being treasonous.

President Trump wrote, “The U.S. has massive amounts of ‘munitions,’ especially of certain types. Additionally, large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed. Defense companies are building the largest number of plants and factories in our country’s history. The ‘leakers’ of these treasonous statements are being hunted down. Long term jail sentences will be sought.”

  1. BURNHAM JAIL BREAK MAY HAVE CONVICTED CHILD RAPE GANG MEMBERS IN IT – The new Prime Minister of Britian, Andy Burnham, has plans to grant early release to thousands of violent convicted criminals, but wants to do a review on the plan to assure convicted child rape and grooming gang members don’t get out as well.

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch was the one who raised a red flag that showed, under Burnham’s guidance, five known child rape grooming gang members would be eligible for early release.

HEADLINES MISSED

  1. DHS FINDS CHINESE PARTS IN U.S. VOTING MACHINES – Due to a breach in security, the Department of Homeland Security has let states know it will be conducting spot paper ballot audits of U.S. voting machines this November.

The announcement comes following news Chinese parts have shown up in U.S. voting machines, giving the Chinese government potential opportunity to manipulate election results. This is a follow-up on the announcement President Trump made in July about Chinese interference in U.S. elections.

  1. AI IS NOW CREATING NEW VIRUSES – Researchers at Stanford University were using AI to study pathogens of existing viruses. In the process, they trained AI perhaps too well, for now AI can design viruses. The researchers claim the AI was only intended to be used as “virus surveillance,” but somehow they went beyond that point. The AI designed 16 new viruses.
  2. CCP HACKERS BREAK INTO MAJOR U.S. GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS – The Department of Justice announced the disruption of a Chinese Communist Party hacking operation that had successfully accessed government networks. Some institutions breached include the Senate, the DOJ, NASA, and the Federal Reserve.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced, “Today we announced the disruption of a global botnet and hacking platform used by Chinese state-sponsored hackers to target U.S. critical infrastructure. These tools were used by PRC cyber actors to hide the origin of their attacks… Today’s action is just the latest technical operation against PRC-sponsored hacking – and in support of President Trump’s Cyber Strategy for America, the FBI is surging efforts to shape adversary behavior and defend the homeland in cyberspace.”

  1. AMERICA LOOKS TO FORM NO-CHINA-AI ALLIANCE – The United States is looking to head China off at the AI resource path with a pending message to its allies. The U.S. is working on a draft letter that will let its allies know they cannot partner with China’s AI-led group and benefit from America’s AI power. The group, called the World AI Cooperation Organization, appears to be a vessel for China to secure AI resources for its country.
  2. CNN RUNS INFORMERCIAL FOR THE DSA, FEATURING HASAN PIKER – CNN feted self-avoided Marxist Hasan Piker on their “Whole Story” episode called “The Left Insurgency.” The show was billed as an objective examination of the rise of the Democratic Socialists. It ended up being a celebration of the rise of the DSA, with Hasan Piker featured in the event at the beginning and the end.

Hasan Piker has endorsed terrorism by Hamas and by Antifa regularly on his twitch streams, where hundreds of thousands of children and young adults regularly hear messages endorsing political violence. Piker ended the “documentary” by declaring “there is 0% chance that whoever the elected Democrat is that wins the primary will be pro-Israel in any way, shape or form. You’ll see.”

  1. PRO ABORTION STATES FALL BELOW REPLACEMENT RATES – The states that allow abortion are falling below replacement rates for their populations. The 10 states that allow abortion up to birth are doing the worse, with Vermont being the worst of the worst. They have a total fertility rate of 1.27. The TFR needs to be above 2 to meet replacement requirements.
  2. YOUNG MEN ABANDON MARRIAGE – A study from the Institute for Family Studies (IFS) shows a dramatic increase in the number of unmarried young men, while married young men have decreased. Unmarried men in the 20-29 age group outnumber married men in that age group almost 2 to 1, 30.4 million to 15.4 million. The number of unmarried young men increased by 47% in 25 years.
  3. U.S. PROPS YEN WITH EUROS – The Department of Treasury is using its Exchange Stabilization Fund to buy Japanese Yen in the hopes of propping up the dangerously weak currency. This hasn’t happened in 30 years. The U.S. is not using U.S. dollars; it is using Euros.

This action follows a recent previous Treasury intervention to help a weakening Argentinian currency. That deal resulted in the loan being paid back in full (at profit). These interventions signal a shift in Treasury policy from two plus decades of international currency passivity to aggressive interventionism.

  1. FCC LIFTS LIMITS ON LOCAL TV STATION OWNERSHIP – The Federal Trade Commission voted 2-1 to lift FCC restrictions on local tv station ownership. The ruling will allow companies to own local stations that cover more than 39% of the U.S. They can now also own more than one tv station in a local market.
  2. BARFARE HITS DHS ATTORNEY – Progressive groups have long used progressive-controlled bar associations to unconstitutionally remove non-progressive lawyers from the courts. Now, the latest action targeted a DHS attorney. DHS General Counsel James Percival faced a bar association complaints from anti-American progressive groups over his rightful chastisement of rogue district judges. These judges continuously ignore higher court rulings, including SCOTUS rulings.
  3. TRUMP WITHIN WINDOW VIEW OF CCP SNIPER – A senior Chinese Communist Party official has somehow been allowed to purchase historic property in Washington D.C. That property is only 650 feet away from the White House’s northeast grounds. The man, Qiu Feili (who goes by Philip Qiu in America) is also a trained sniper. The property cost $8.4 million.
  4. AUSTRALIA WANTS TO BE THE WORLD’S INTERNET COP – The Australian government is considering legislation that appears to give Australia jurisdiction over all social media companies worldwide that run afoul of their national laws. The legislation would grant Australia the power to retrieve any data from any person or company affiliated with a social media company that does business in Australia.

X protested the bill, claiming it would “compel any person outside Australia to provide information and documents merely because they are affiliated with a company.” X claimed the bill gave no “due regard to procedural fairness, privacy, the broader impacts on online services, and Australia’s digital economy.” Elon Musk called it a “backdoor way to control access to the internet by all Australians.”

  1. SCIENTISTS CALL FOR A 50% REDUCTION OF HUMANITY – A group of scientists released a public statement calling for humans to reduce their numbers by 4 billion by the year 2200.

They wrote, “We show that slowing and gradually reversing population growth to ∼4 billion or less by 2200, while moderating per capita impacts, is the path toward sustainability. Global environmental problems are caused by people, nothing else. The more of us there are, the greater our overall economic demands and the greater the associated environmental problems.”

  1. MYANMAR JUNTA THREATENS THAILAND – The Myanmar Junta’s military chief, General Ye Win Oo, met with Thailand officials to warn them about their porous borders. The Junta is accusing Thailand of allowing arms to reach the resistance to its military rule. The junta held an election January of this year, but that election was not recognized as being legitimate, for only Junta-approved candidates were allowed to run in the election.

One of the resistance leaders, Min Thway Thit, responded to the action, declaring “The junta is making every effort to cut off the flow of weapons across the border under the pretext of holding talks with neighboring countries. Our resistance forces must stay alert, plan alternative routes, and call for stronger international pressure on the regime.”

  1. THAILAND UNDER ISLAMIST ATTACK IN THE SOUTH – Thailand’s Prime Minister held an emergency meeting after a coordinated series of attacks by Islamist terrorists in the nation’s southern-most province. The attacks come at a time when Thailand is still dealing with a major flood crisis in the north. There were 51 reported attacks that included bombings, arson, and property damage. No security or police forces were targeted. The attacks appear to be aimed at damaging infrastructure and causing disruption.
  2. YOUR AI MIGHT BE PROPAGANDIZING YOU – The Federal Trade Commission is looking to create rules to prevent what it suspects is intentional propagandization by AI chatbots.

The FTC declared, “As the proposed policy statement explains, the FTC Act prohibits businesses from engaging in ‘unfair or deceptive’ conduct. The proposed statement goes on to describe how AI companies that distort their systems’ outputs to achieve undisclosed ideological objectives could be deceiving consumers in violation Section 5 of the FTC Act. Such conduct, it explains, may be at odds with explicit and implicit representations made to consumers about the effectiveness and suitability of AI systems for various tasks.”

  1. TRANS CULT GROUP SUSPECTED OF SERIAL MURDER SEES CHARGES SUSPENDED – A Transgender cult called Zizian saw its felony firearms charges suspended without comment by a Maryland court. The group has been linked to eight violent deaths. The hope was the arrests in 2022 would lead to serial murder charges, but now the investigation appears to be suspended. There are three members in the cult, all three saw their cases made inactive on August 14.

  1. RUSSIA SAVES NIGER JUNTA – Russian mercenaries were crucial in preventing the fall of the Niger Junta, which have ruled since they successfully executed a coup in 2023. The junta itself was in danger of being deposed by disgruntled soldiers, but Russian mercenaries successfully quelled the revolt. The action cements Russia’s preferred status in the Junta’s Niger.
  2. UN WANTS AMERICANS TO PAY REPARATIONS TO AFRICANS – A United Nations committee is issuing a decree to white majority western countries to pay reparations to African descendants of slaves. Tops on that list were America and Britain. The committee insisted, “States Parties must implement comprehensive reparatory measures for people of African descent, covering all aspects of remedies.”

PEOPLE ADVANCE

  1. TRUMP DOUBLES U.S. OIL RESERVE WITH ONE DEAL – President Trump has announced an historic deal with Venezuela that secures 65 million barrels of Venezuela’s oil reserves, which more than doubles the U.S. oil reserves.

The President posted on Truth Social, “The United States of America has just entered into an Agreement with the Country of Venezuela on, THE BIGGEST OIL DEAL IN WORLD HISTORY!… This Historic Transaction MORE THAN DOUBLES American Oil Reserves, greatly increases our Oil Supply, and will substantially lower Gas Prices for all Americans, long into the future, while helping to continue to set Venezuela on a course toward Tremendous Success and Great Prosperity”

  1. TRUMP LOOKS TO LOWER DRUG PRICES EVEN MORE – Following up on an historic drop in pharmaceutical drug prices, President Trump has announced an agreement with major drug makers that could lower the prices even more. President Trump stated, “Our most favored nations’ discounts represent the largest reduction in prescription drug prices in the history of our country.”
  2. TRUMP HOPES XOS WILL DAMPEN BIRTH TOURISM – After SCOTUS ruled 5-4 that birthright citizenship means citizenship for anyone born on American soil, President Trump is hoping his pen can limit the damage the ruling has done to U.S. sovereignty.

President Trump stated, “We had a very unfortunate decision in the Supreme Court concerning birthright. It was close, but a very, very unfortunate decision. So we’re making adjustments because it’s very unfair. This was done right after the Civil War. This was for the babies of slaves, and what’s happening now? People are building businesses around it.”

  1. FAUCI HELD IN CONTEMPT, GETS DOJ CRIMINAL REFERRAL – Dr. Anthony Fauci has been held in contempt by a Senate Committee led by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY). Senator Paul is also personally filing papers recommending the DOJ file criminal charges against the doctor. Paul stated, “We will hand deliver it today to the attorney general and we will hand deliver it today to the District of Columbia, to the U.S. attorney there, and from there, we’ll find out. But this way we don’t sit a month waiting to determine whether to bring it to the Senate floor.”
  2. U.S. SANCTIONS FOREIGN SUPPORT OF PROGRESSIVE ANTIFA IN AMERICA – The U.S. State Department has begun sanctioning progressive terrorist groups funding Antifa terror cells in America. The action appears to be an effort to cut off the international supply for progressive terror cells on American soil.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced, “Far-left terrorism poses a profound threat to the United States and the broader West. Today, the United States sanctioned several transnational far-left terrorist networks, including Autistici/Inventati – a major far-left tech collective whose services are used by the most active and violent Antifa cells in the United States and across the world.”

  1. REPUBLICANS GAIN ANOTHER GERRYMANDERING HOUSE SEAT – Cole County, Missouri Judge Daniel Green approved the new district voting map the Missouri GOP-majority legislature passed. The new map gives Republicans another U.S. House seat weighted in their favor.
  2. DEMOCRATS LOSE GERRYMANDERING BATTLE IN MARYLAND – A Maryland state judge has blocked Democrats from using the ballot in November to trigger redistricting. The judge ruled the Democrats must go through the legal process of redistricting, which doesn’t include using a referendum. The Democrats hope to eliminate the last remaining Republican seat in the state.
  3. TRUMP PLAN LEADS TO HISTORIC RX PRICE DROP – President Donald Trump’s efforts to bring down the cost of prescription drugs have led to an historic drop in drugs that hasn’t been seen in over 60 years. The cost of prescription drugs dropped 3.1% in 12 months, starting from this past July.

White House Spokesman Kush Desai stated, “No president in modern history has been able to drastically reduce prescription drug prices across the board except for President Trump. This is a direct result of the President’s willingness to push the envelope with bold policies that actually put Americans and America First.”

  1. APPEALS COURT RESTORES TEXAS MAIL-IN VOTE REQUIREMENTS – A Federal Appeals Court restores Texas restrictions on Mail-In Voting that a lower court had struck down. One requirement is the voter must sign an oath declaring the vote was not coerced.
  2. ALITO REJECTS RETIREMENT – Reliable American SCOTUS Justice Samuel Alito announced he will be returning for another term. This followed rumors he intended to retire. He told the Wall Street Journal, when asked what his plans were, “Obviously I’m here for another term.” Justice Alito is 76.
  3. JUDGEMENT AGAINST O’KEEFE STRUCK DOWN – Investigative journalist James O’Keefe saw a $130,000 judgment against him thrown out by a three-panel D.C. appeals court. The judgment came after a Democratic group sued O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. The group claimed Project Veritas’ video called “Rigging the Election” was fraudulent and in violation of wiretapping rules. A D.C. jury ruled in their favor. After the judgment, O’Keefe filed an appeal, claiming the judgment was a violation of the Freedom of Press. The panel ruled 2-1 he was right.

Circuit Judge Karen LeCraft Henderson wrote in the ruling, “The principal question in this appeal is whether the jury’s damages award violated the First Amendment by punishing the defendants for publishing a news story. We conclude that it did. The separate issue is whether, under D.C. law, one of the media defendants became the fiduciary of her own news target by tricking him into hiring her as an unpaid intern. We conclude that she did not.”

  1. ALEX JONES NOW ONLY OWES $1.5 MILLION – A $50 million judgment against Alex Jones has been reduced to $1.5 million by a Texas appeals court. The judgment came after Alex Jones was sued by the parents of the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting. Jones claimed the shooting was a false flag operation. The appeals court ruled the trial court “abused its discretion” by applying a judgment greater than the statutory limit.
  2. HOSPITAL PAYS AFTER FORCING TRANS IDEOLOGY ON STAFF – Valerie Kloosterman has won $410,000 from the University of Michigan Health-West because of a lawsuit against the hospital. Kloosterman sued after the hospital fired her in August 2021 for refusing to conform to the transgender ideology. She would not reject the gender binary.
  3. TRANS OPERATION SUED BY FTC – The Federal Trade Commission is bringing a lawsuit against the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). The organization is accused of misleading families to push harmful “gender transition therapies” to their children.

This is the organization that coined the phrase, “Would you rather have a dead daughter or a live son?” The case is now going to trial, meaning the child grooming and mutilating organization will have to turn over their internal communications records to the state.

  1. THANKS TO TRUMP, MARINE COMES HOME FROM RUSSIA – After spending more than four years in a Russian prison, U.S. Marine Robert Gilman has been released. His release came thanks to negotiations between the Trump administration and the Putin regime. While the Biden administration negotiated a deal to release WNBA player Britney Griner from a Russian prison, they made no effort to negotiate the release of this same U.S. Marine.
  2. DNA SALVATION FOR DATA CENTERS – A research team from Penn State has claimed they’ve developed a way to use DNA as memory storage. This memory storage would use 100x less energy than current memory storage uses. This could significantly reduce the resource demand on AI Data centers. The findings were published in Advanced Publishing Materials.

One of the researchers, Kavya S. Keremane, stated “Biology and electronics are different domains. Bridging these two fields required developing an entirely new materials platform that allows them to function seamlessly together. By combining the information storage capabilities of DNA with the exceptional electronic properties of perovskite semiconductors, we created a bio-hybrid system that fundamentally changes how low-power memory devices can be designed.”

  1. RENEWABLE TEXTILES TIMES TEN – MIT researchers have created a yarn from resin pellets. This yarn can be re-used ten times before it begins to degrade. It is also elastic. The development could open a new market for renewable textiles.
  2. MAHA INSPIRES ARTIFICIAL COLOR REMOVAL FROM MAJOR CEREALS – General Mills has announced all its cereals in the U.S. are now artificial-color-free. The change was in response to HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr.’s MAHA challenge to companies to replace artificial colors with natural alternatives.

Bellwether Deep Dive – Friday, April 17, 2026

By Paul Gordon Collier, Editor, and STAFF

“By 2100, our destiny is to become like the gods we once worshipped and feared. But our tools will not be magic wands and potions but the science of computers, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and most of all, the quantum theory.” – Michio Kaku

“I think we should be very careful about artificial intelligence. If I had to guess at what our biggest existential threat is, it’s probably that. So we need to be very careful…With artificial intelligence we’re summoning the demon.” – Elon Musk

  1. NOTE: While we originally intended on analyzing the Trump Executive Order on AI, in the course of our research we shifted to look at AI development overall. The Executive Order is sure to receive legal challenges, and what emerges after the legal dust settles is difficult to predict.

Furthermore, even a Republican successor to Trump is bound to tweak Trump’s XO to meet their own unique circumstances. Yet, America is forming an AI geopolitical strategy that is likely to continue past Trump, regardless of which party is in power.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

What follows is an analysis of the current state of the emerging AI state (or states). The transformation from an internet-based world to an AI-based one is accelerating every day. Events of the last two weeks alone have highlighted that dramatic shift.

We will begin with an analysis of the bellwether AI states of the 21st century, for strategies have already formed and significant patterns can already be seen. We will then look at AI news headlines from the last two weeks that show how AI is profoundly touching nearly every aspect of our lives.

Finally, we will end this Deep Dive with an assessment of the state of the AI state. Also included are further resources to expand your own investigation of the state of the AI state.

  1. BACKGROUND

This is an analysis of the bellwether nations that are developing geopolitical artificial intelligence (AI) strategies. These nations are intended to represent the common/shared AI strategies of most of the nations in 2026.

While we don’t currently have an Africa representative, we are monitoring AI development in Africa. At present, Africa’s AI strategies are more complex and uncertain than in other regions. You can expect to read more about this in upcoming issues of MIA.

Africa’s current drawbacks are also its future opportunities, namely, its need to build from scratch what we are simply calling “AI machines” (which describes the full panoply of physical infrastructure required by a “sovereign” AI resource).

Africa as a potential resource for data centers that work effectively as remote brains for AI machines, there are more immediate opportunities, as well as risks.

While the United States in particular must race ahead with the current parameters to build their AI machines, Africa will have time to learn, potentially giving them an opportunity to build machines more efficient and less resource demanding than the AI superpowers end up building (which might be the most optimistic take possible).

When analyzing AI policies for nations, it is important to remember shifts can occur when power changes hands, especially where the divisions are more polarizing (such as the United States). Nevertheless, even for the United States, we currently assume the geopolitical reality of the country will not significantly change regardless of which faction is in power. The internal reality of the country will change dramatically, however.

Because of this underlying assumption, we believe the overall strategy of each country will remain relatively consistent from regime to regime for the foreseeable future (3-5 years) barring unforeseen breakthroughs that radically alter the AI dynamic.

Even with that dynamic shift, we would still consider 1.5 years a reliable timeframe for the current geopolitical strategies to remain stable.

Much of the data that supports this section of the Deep Dive comes from three reports which are linked at the end of the report under the FURTHER RESOURCES section.

  1. U.S. – The key advantage the United States has is its massive resources, including land, water, capital, and people. In all those departments the U.S. leads every nation, including China, from significantly to substantially.

A red flag on this advantage comes from a recent talent pool drop. China also has a growing renewable energy resource bringing it closer to parity with the U.S., but still overall significantly behind in resources, especially for AI machine-building.

America’s strategy is to build big, fast, and become the secure source for the hardware other nations need. If AI continues to be expensive at what we are calling the machine-level, America is at a distinct advantage over the rest of the world as far as building AI machines, but constitutional hurdles may slow that development down more than might be currently expected.

AI is currently less popular than politicians, including Democrats, Donald Trump, and congress. The demand for data centers is becoming the emerging touchstone for resistance to what we believe is the inevitable, the rise of a new AI-defined human reality.

  1. CHINA – While the U.S. hopes to become the hardware backbone of its national customers, China hopes to become the software backbone of its national customers. China is relying on less resource-demanding AI machine models. While they are behind America in terms of AI machines, they are catching up fast.

There is plenty of room to grow for China. The talent pool is there. One key advantage China has over the U.S., currently, is access not only to rare earth minerals, but to rare earth mineral processing. This is where the U.S. still lags significantly behind. This disadvantage does not impede America’s current projected AI infrastructure development.

China’s centralized authority governance model enables it to move faster than the United States in converting land to AI machines. It can rapidly incorporate AI tools into the lives of its citizens in ways which would be considered a violation of our constitutional rights in America. This also puts it at risk of quickly going down a developmental path that could prove to be self-imploding.

  1. EU – Germany and France define the conflicting interests within the EU, with Germany seeing less AI regulation as an opportunity for its nation, while France sees itself as holding power through AI legislation, or “governance” (which goes beyond essential AI “governance”).

Germany is a world leader in AI machine production, with plenty of opportunity for growth. France, on the other hand, must rely on a smaller-scale AI machine program given its current reality. This is why France is positioning itself as a leader on AI governance through its “Third Way.” It fits its national interest, while such power does not fit Germany’s.

  1. JAPAN – An aging population has created both an immediate need and a potential long-term AI strategy for Japan. That strategy is largely to be a world leader of AI tool building (our phrase), that is, of creating the hardware and the software guidance, that converts AI “thought” to physical interaction. It is a world leader in robotics and all the software back-ends needed to make robots work well with AI.

Its favorable status with the U.S. gives it access to AI hardware which its main geopolitical competitor, China, does not have. This gives it a development advantage over China, at present, but we do not expect that to continue past our 3–5-year timeframe (with the aforementioned caveat still included).

In between Japan and China, the United States and China, is Taiwan, a computer chip manufacturing superpower. Its usefulness to the U.S. and Japan as a technological leader in chip manufacturing presents a challenge, being useful without giving up essential secrets that could make its usefulness redundant.

Its lack of geopolitical sovereignty leaves it off this list as a bellwether nation. It warrants a mention here as it is currently Japan’s closest geopolitical, as well as AI, ally. The two have formed a “Silicon Alliance” that sees the nations developing joint AI software partnerships. Japan is also relying on Taiwan’s chip manufacturing expertise to build its own domestic version.

  1. INDIA – As an “independent,” a nation which does not commit to the China or the U.S. axis (an increasingly growing number of nations), India must rely on a strategy that makes it invaluable to potential customer nations.

It has significant drawbacks to building its own AI machines, but it has the human resources to do so should other resources become available. Its strategy is to become a world leader in digital public infrastructure and AI governance guidelines.

It also has an opportunity to serve a “niche” audience of billions who speak Indic languages, which makes it uniquely positioned to develop a whole host of AI services within that uniquely structured language. China has a similar opportunity it has already exploited.

  1. RUSSIA – Of all the bellwether nations on this list, Russia could have the least opportunity to thrive in an AI-infused geopolitical reality. Like Japan, Russia’s immediate need is also creating a long-term strategy for existence in an AI-infused human reality.

Russia’s current war in Ukraine has made converting AI to battle tools (hardware and software) its number one priority. It has built its own AI parameters with its own sovereign “stack” called the Ru-AI stack to protect it from external influences.

Its lack of access to western technology limits its development, as does its recent talent departure at the start of the war, an exodus that only appears to continue. Its aging population could invite a Japanese approach to account for the coming drop in manpower, but the war has demanded most of the resources.

Much of the technology developed during the war could theoretically be converted to civilian use, but even that will take time for conversion.

Russia will have an incentive to be a useful ally to China, for China might one day need to build Russia’s national AI infrastructure.

Israel has a similar strategy to Russia’s (converting AI to military tools), though its alliance with the U.S. gives it great developmental advantage, as does its human resources.

  1. SAUDI ARABIA – The advantage Saudi Arabia has is capital and the land to build massive amounts of data centers. Mind you, these are not fully functioning AI machines, but rather these are the remote “brains” of such machines (which we will begin calling remote brains).

THIS is why data centers are becoming a growing political friction point worldwide. They need a lot more remote brains than they do AI machines.

In Saudi Arabia, no such friction exists. The Saudis hope to have an investment stake in international corporate AI, as well as becoming a top hub for remote brains for AI machines from AI superpowers (which they still hope are both China and the U.S.).

  1. ARGENTINA – Though Argentina’s economy is lot more stable than previously, Milei’s Argentina is still dealing with economic instability that makes converting AI into financial management tools a needs-based focus for the nation.

The recent dramatic restructuring of the government under Milei has also led to the nation developing AI for government processing.

Its immediate needs, however, are not its greatest long-term potential, though both developments have long-term opportunities. Their greatest potential lies in a region in the country known as Patagonia. Here, Argentina is filled with opportunity for the creation of powerful AI machines. It also has the human resources for such an expansion.

Their current alignment with the U.S. gives them a potential for a technological boost that could see the country quickly become an AI regional power with some superpower capacity.

  1. CURRENT SITUATION

What follows are current headlines from the AI world in the last 16 days alone.

The headlines reveal the rapid changes that are happening to AI as a developing tool. They also show how commercially ready AI tools are already radically changing the way we must organize to meet this new reality.

  1. NOTE: These headlines are archived news blurbs and links aggregated and collated on our site, mindfulintelligence.news. You can find the blurbs and links to all the stories used in this part of the Deep Dive there as well. The dates on these archived stories begin April 2, 2026, and end April 16, 2026.
  2. PLANNING & DESIGN – Humans are becoming managers of AI, while the development of AI is being increasingly done by AI itself. As rumors of AI’s pending peak persist, evidence suggests that might be premature. Yet, mathematically, AI’s limitations are allegedly assured, especially in the hopes that AI will ever truly be “human.”

1.1. NEVER HUMAN – Agentic coding requires effective spec-driven development. From scienceblog.com – “The Halting Problem and Gödel’s incompleteness theorems suggest that perfect AI alignment with human values is mathematically impossible.”

1.2. SPEC FOR AGENCY – From venturebeat.com – “Spec-driven development starts with a deceptively simple idea: before an AI agent writes a single line of code, it works from a structured, context-rich specification that defines what the system is supposed to do, what its properties are, and what ‘correct’ actually means.”

1.3 BRAIN BASE WARS – Google upgrades its robot brain base, calling it Gemini Robotics-ER 1.6. This is a departure from DeepMind. From marketpost.com –  “Gemini Robotics-ER… is the embodied reasoning model: it specializes in understanding physical spaces, planning, and making logical decisions, but does not directly control robotic limbs. Instead, it provides high-level insights to help the VLA model decide what to do next. Think of it as the difference between a strategist and an executor — Gemini Robotics-ER 1.6 is the strategist.”

  1. RESOURCES – When it comes to AI resource demands, right now the most pressing demands are coming from what we are calling their remote brains, the data centers. These are not fully functioning AI machines, rather they are the databases, the remote brains, of the AI machines.

National infrastructures will require far more data centers than AI machines, including America’s, where the issue of data center expansion is becoming an increasingly political one.

From The Blaze: “The public is being asked to shoulder a burden to facilitate a supposed technology whose benefits are very unclear and dubious… Republicans are continuing their uninterrupted streak of woefully underperforming in elections.

However, in the first of its kind referendum on Big Tech data centers, voters are showing that a party that embraces land sovereignty over Big Tech dystopian land grabs will win the day. Sadly, Republicans have chosen to be on the losing side of the issue.”

They are referring to a referendum in Port Washington, Wisconsin, to require any data center additions be approved by a general election. The Republicans were against the referendum. The referendum passed by a 2-1 margin. A city in Missouri is planning to outright ban data centers.

The issue isn’t just about energy demand, it’s about land occupation. Data centers require acres of land. Across the world, the need for numerous data centers will cause friction with the locals wherever they proliferate.

  1. CULTURE – AI planners are recognizing the need to create culturally calibrated machines. Anthropic’s invitation to Christians is a strong bellwether of this reality. The recent assassination attempts on an AI CEO highlight the growing friction between the increasing use of AI alongside the mounting mistrust and hatred of it.

3.1. CHRISTIAN AI? – Anthropic signals a need for diverse cultural inputs for AI; they invite Christian leaders to a summit to talk about it. From christianpost.com – “At the summit, held last month, staff sought advice on how Claude should respond to complex ethical queries, including how to handle users who are grieving or at risk of self-harm, and what attitude the chatbot should adopt toward its own potential demise, such as being shut off.”

3.2. AI ASSASSIN – A man who believes he can kill AI by killing its corporate leaders has been captured after attempting to kill the OpenAI CEO twice. He told the world, “…if I am going to advocate for others to kill and commit crimes, then I must lead by example and show that I am fully sincere in my message.” Now the question is, what will AI CEOs do in response to this growing threat? Altman himself was described as having a “sociopathic lack of concern” for the attempted assassinations.

3.3. USE IT, BUT HATE IT – While everyone uses AI, no one likes it. AI companies’ efforts to woo the public have failed, as no one trusts AI, no one wants AI machines and remote brains in their backyards, but no one wants to stop using them.

From The Algorithm Bridge: “People hate AI so much that they are prone to attribute to it everything that’s going wrong in their lives, regardless of the truth. That’s why they mix real arguments, like data theft, with fake ones… AI has become the perfect scapegoat. It doesn’t help that the entire AI industry has decided that throwing rocks at its own roof is its best selling point: If AI is so powerful and so dangerous and soon to be so ubiquitous, then what is so unexpected about people blaming everything on it?

Nothing that Altman could say justifies violence against him. This is an undeniable truth. But unfortunately, violence might still ensue. I hope not, but I guess we are seeing what appears to be the first cases.”

  1. MARKET – Google is emerging as an AI leader. AI creation means AI advertising. The whole justification for economics might soon be undone by AI.

These three bellwethers show how AI is already changing market structures and, at least theoretically, dismantling economic theories.

4.1. GOOGLE CHIP STASH – Has Google already won the American AI wars? From 24wallet.com – “Peter Diamandis argues Google (GOOGL) holds more AI chips than entire countries and will dominate the AI infrastructure race because it saw the opportunity a decade ago when Larry Page invested in proprietary Tensor Processing Units before competitors.”

4.2. AI AD MARKET EMERGING – If you do a search using AI, you understand how radically different their results are from “traditional” search results. There’s no comparison.

Now, the trick will be in figuring out how to work ads into AI-produced results and content. From observer.com – “Over the past year, the rapid adoption of generative A.I. and the corresponding decline in traditional search traffic for many publishers have intensified questions about how the next phase of the internet will be funded.”

4.3. WRECKING ECONOMIC THEORIES – One of AI’s unintended consequences is in exposing the unsoundness of economic theories. A book from Tyler Cowen attempts to show just how AI is already doing this. From The Federalist – “Rather than mounting a frontal assault on large questions about the future of economics, Cowen begins at the margin, with the history of a single idea, the doctrine that value is determined not by the total utility of a good but by the utility of an additional unit of it.

Many readers arrive at this book knowing that definition. Cowen’s first service is to show how much that belief has concealed. Marginalism is not one thing but several: There is intuitive marginalism, tautological marginalism, engineering marginalism, and social marginalism. The further one presses into the concept, the more it ramifies. Even the ideas we think we understand resist the grip that holds them.”

  1. AI TOOLS – From math, to war, to healthcare, this month alone has seen revolutionary changes in all three major institutions. The factor behind all the changes is the introduction of AI tools into these institutions. For better or worse, AI is already ubiquitous in the world, and these latest AI tool developments are the bellwethers of that reality.

5.1 AI MATHING – Our leading mathematics institutions will have to undergo a shift from working out formulas that advance mathematical standards to being mathematical experts capable of effectively managing the new formula workers, AI tools.

Daniel Litt of the University of Toronto declared what AI tools will do to mathematics departments. He told Quantum Magazine – “it will look and feel altogether different from the way mathematics was traditionally done.”

Mathematician Terence Tao at the University of California, Los Angeles, said, “Where before mathematicians studied one problem at a time… with these tools you can solve thousands of problems at once and start doing statistical studies… Though nobody I spoke with thinks AI will replace mathematicians… there are a lot of institutional changes, cultural changes, we will have to make.”

5.2. AI WARRING – More than taking over traditional positions in the battlefield, the physical expression of AI at war, drones and robots, is about to go beyond human understanding and design. First, AI is increasingly at least heavily influencing life and death decisions on 21st century battlefields, now it is about to start designing the next generation of its battlefield physical manifestation.

From WION – “The wars of the future may be about algorithm versus algorithm rather than human versus human. Deterrence may depend on machines reacting faster than humans can think. AI warfare is more widespread, less predictable, and constantly evolving. AI warfare could be more unstable than the nuclear standoff, even if it follows a similar logic of deterrence.”

A recent Chinese military exercise using AI saw AI decisions 43% faster than seasoned leaders, while maintaining over a 90% accuracy in identifying relevant information.

5.3. AI HEALING – AI is changing the whole way the healthcare industry is structured, with some of it being promising while key challenges still remain.

Decentralized AI, so far, is proving more useful than centralized AI. From Devdiscourse – “The study, titled ‘The Decentralized AI Ecosystem in Healthcare: A Systematic Review of Technologies, Governance, and Implementation,’ provides insights into the way decentralized AI technologies such as federated learning, blockchain, and decentralized autonomous organizations are reshaping clinical and operational healthcare environments.

The findings show that while decentralized AI holds significant promise in addressing systemic inefficiencies and regulatory challenges, its large-scale implementation remains constrained by technical complexity, governance gaps, and limited real-world validation.”

6.4. AI SCIENCING – AI is now capable of autonomously writing scientific papers. ResearchEVO is behind the project that successfully created this scientific-paper-writing tool. From Quantum Zeitgeist – “Zhe Zhao and colleagues at City University present ResearchEVO, a new end-to-end framework that mimics the iterative process of scientific discovery, beginning with experimentation and followed by theoretical explanation. The system uniquely combines algorithm evolution, driven by performance, with automated research paper generation, ensuring factual accuracy and avoiding fabricated citations.”

ASSESSMENT

The most powerful nations of the world are locked into a strategy that will keep them in that trajectory for 3-5 years, barring unforeseen breakthroughs that radically alter the AI dynamic.

The nations that have the best advantage are the ones whose long-term AI advantage potential development is meeting their short-term needs (like Japan).

The nations who can build the superpower AI machines and the infrastructure that goes with it, the remote brains, the data centers, will do so.

Those who can’t build superpower AI machines (and the supporting infrastructure) will work on being support specialists, hoping to become an essential element of the AI industry at some key part of the AI delivery process.

This process is well under way. In some ways, the pre-AI alliances are forming AI alliances (like Russia and China); in other ways, AI realities are forming new alliances (like Argentina and America). In the case of Germany and France, it might drive recent alliances apart.

While the nations formulate national strategies, AI tools are already impacting the world, even as AI development continues to challenge infrastructures before they’ve been created.

It is too soon to assess how AI will impact the institutions its already changing, but sooner rather than later major answers are sure to surface. We will be here, God willing, to update our assessment as the circumstances change (and they will).

As AI impacts human lives, there seems to be polar responses, one which enthusiastically embraces it (even pays monthly for it), and the other is violently untrusting.

Humans in peak expression, through various factors, have already manifested how such worship and hate integrates with the human platform.

While geopolitical strategies are settling into more predictable patterns in comparison to what we’ve seen for the past 6 months, institutions have only just begun to confront the impact of AI tools on their very habits of being.

We will be monitoring these developments closely.

AI is here, and it will touch every part of your life. Whatever you do, if it involves repetition or thinking, AI will be replacing you or aiding you.

As we have said in our earlier AI report for our Futureq series, becoming adept at using AI as a tool to augment whatever you do to make a living, or whatever you hope to do to make a living, is not only advantageous, but it’s also essential. Your competition is already using these tools, and the best ones are the most adept at getting the tools to effectively do what they want them to do.

Even we here at MIA rely on AI for much of our research (not all, for much of it comes through our archived news blurbs and news links on mindfulintelligence.news).

I use AI as a proofing tool and a drafting consultant (not an editorial consultant, nor as a “writer”). I treat AI like it is intended as a blessing, though it contains within it something less than a blessing as well.

Thanks to AI, we can put a lot more work into our reports without taking more time to do so. If you’re using AI to perform at your pre-AI level, you’re using AI wrong. Your competition is using it not to shorten their workload, but to add substantively to it without adding more labor or time to do so.

If you think you can kill it or ignore it, you are simply wrong. AI is here to stay. It is our new reality. This is not a statement of value, but merely a statement of fact. Welcome to the next major stage in human development, the AI age.
