Trump Has A Total Meltdown Over Soon Becoming A Convicted Felon– www.politicususa.com Source Link Excerpt:
Anyone else who was convicted of nearly three dozen felonies would never get the special treatment that Trump is getting, but Donald Trump thinks that he is entitled to even more special treatment.
Trump posted on Truth Social:
There has never been a President who was so evilly and illegally treated as I. Corrupt Democrat judges and prosecutors have gone against a political opponent of a President, ME, at levels of injustice never seen before. Corrupt judges, or judges so blinded by their hatred of me and my political ideology to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN,” are making a mockery of the United States Judicial System, and the World is watching in disgust.
Deranged Jack Smith, the evil and sinister prosecutor appointed by Crooked Joe Biden to “take me down,” was found to be illegally appointed by a CORRUPT DOJ and FBI, and all of his many charges against me were dropped or dismissed. His illegal raid of my home, Mar-a-Lago, will go down as one of the “dirtiest tricks” ever perpetrated by one candidate, a dumb as a rock, Sleepy Joe Biden, on another. With all of this said, I still have confidence that the Appellate Courts will bring JUSTICE TO AMERICA!!!
The GOP Keeps Parroting Trump’s False Claims About the New Orleans Attack – Mother Jones– www.motherjones.com Source Link Excerpt:

In the immediate aftermath of the New Year’s truck attack that killed 14 people and injured dozens in New Orleans, President-elect Donald Trump baselessly—and, it turns out, falsely—suggested that the Biden administration’s immigration policies were to blame.
“When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true,” Trump wrote on Truth Social just after 10:45 a.m. on New Year’s Day. (Later in the post, he added: “Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department.”)
Trump ‘border czar’ admits he’s just making up terrorism claims– www.dailykos.com Source Link Excerpt:
Tom Homan, Donald Trump’s pick to be “border czar” in his upcoming administration, admitted during a Fox News appearance on Thursday that he had no evidence for a connection he alleged between the truck attack in New Orleans and the Tesla explosion in Las Vegas.
Appearing on Fox’s “America Reports” program, Homan told anchor Sandra Smith that he believed law enforcement would find a connection between the two incidents.
Homan used the allegation as a launchpad to continue his advocacy for more restrictive immigration policy and attacked President Joe Biden’s administration over the issue—even though both of the men involved in the New Orleans and Las Vegas attacks were American citizens who served in the military.
MSNBC most likely committed numerous crimes, including inciting people to violence, when it aired a piece designed to equate the KKK Rally in Madison Square Garden from 1939 to Trump’s recent MSG rally, despite the fact that the rally was attended by people of multiple races, including Jews.
MSNBC stirred the flames of hate in its overt effort to save its party, the DNC-CCP from a catastrophic loss, reporting on the horrors of that 1939 rally to make them seem “real” today, real enough to make sheep believe the lie that the GOP are Hitlers. They stated, “When a Jewish protester rushed the stage, the Associated Press reported, ‘Instantly a dozen or more stormtroopers set upon him, knocking him down and beating him as he held his head in his arms. Most of his clothing was torn from his body. Later, he was booked for disorderly conduct.'”
MSNBC splices MAGA rally with clips of Nazis, DNC projects graphic on MSG comparing Trump to Hitler | The Post Millennial– thepostmillennial.com Source Link Excerpt:
Far-left cable news network MSNBC as well as the Democratic National Committee (DNC) both compared Donald Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden (MSG) on Sunday evening with Nazis and Hitler, as they and Democrats have been doing for years. The network directly compared the two, suggesting that the rally was somehow akin to the Nazis of World War II. The DNC also projected a message onto the stadium as the rally took place, saying, “Trump praised Hitler.”
The MSNBC host, speaking over the clips from a Nazi rally and Trump’s playing back and forth, said to viewers that Trump holding the rally there was “particularly chilling because in 1939, more than 20,000 supporters of a different fascist leader, Adolf Hitler, packed the garden for a so-called pro-America rally.” The footage of the Trump rally was spliced with old Nazi footage.

A former model has told the Guardian that Donald Trump groped her at his Manhattan tower in 1993, after she was introduced to the real estate mogul by notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Stacey Williams said Trump put his hands “all over my breasts” as well as her waist and buttocks in their brief meeting, unwanted touching that left her “deeply confused”.
An article in The National Interest has highlighted a potential critical fail in America’s war strategy, especially as it relates to her number one threat, China. The article highlights the development of one American Ford Class Aircraft Carrier, $13 billion, contrasted with a Chinese Frigate armed with hypersonic missiles, operating at a fraction of the cost of an aircraft carrier.
The world is building cheap systems to destroy carriers while America continues to direct more of its resources to these increasingly legacy platforms. The game-changer is the hypersonic missile, though, as of yet, no country has demonstrated reliable accuracy with these missiles, it is only a matter of time before that part is mastered as well, and then America’s massive military advantage, its aircraft carriers, will be over.
The Navy Is Freaked: The Age of Big Warships Is Just About Done – nationalinterest.org Source Link Excerpt:
What You Need to Know: The dominance of large surface warships, especially aircraft carriers, is increasingly threatened by advanced anti-access/area-denial (A2/AD) systems developed by adversaries like China. Hypersonic missiles and other sophisticated weapons, such as China’s Dong-Feng 26B, pose a significant risk to these expensive platforms.
-The U.S. Navy’s reliance on carriers is becoming a liability in potential conflicts, as seen in Russia’s losses during the Ukraine War.
-To counter A2/AD threats, the U.S. must expand its submarine fleet, develop unmanned drones, and invest in hypersonic weapons. However, the Navy continues to prioritize legacy systems like carriers over future-proof solutions.
For centuries, navies around the world have taken pride in their large surface warships. The dominance of these warships persisted even after the advent of submarines. In fact, during the Second World War, when submarines became a primary weapons platform for navies, the aircraft carrier stole all the headlines.
Today, however, things are changing…
The rise of anti-access/area-denial (A2/AD) means that the large surface warship’s days as the primary form of power projection in a naval fleet are coming to an end.
Consider that the Ford-class aircraft carrier, America’s newest, costs $13 billion per unit, plus hundreds of millions of dollars per year to maintain. The more numerous Nimitz-class aircraft carriers, while older than the Ford-class, are also very expensive.
An aircraft carrier is a large, highly complex warship. Its purpose is to maneuver a floating airbase near the territory of an enemy in order to threaten that rival with precise and consistent airstrikes.
Yet for a fraction of the cost, China’s Dong-Feng 26B missile can either sink an aircraft carrier outright or simply destroy its flight deck, rendering the carrier useless in battle.
The carrier is the primary means of American power projection. Its absence or limitation leaves a critical gap in U.S. military capabilities. That is a strategic gap that a rival like China can easily exploit.
It’s not just aircraft carriers that are vulnerable to China’s growing anti-ship capabilities. Other surface warships are also targets.
The Chinese military has developed a growing coterie of hypersonic weapons capabilities that it is planning to launch against incoming U.S. warships. Whatever defenses those warships have against conventional anti-ship missiles, there are no known countermeasures on U.S. warships to protect against these hypersonic systems.
Can you imagine Joe Biden playing chess? Could he beat, say, an average seventh-grader? C’mon, man: I’m serious! Not a joke!
But on MSNBC’s Saturday edition of The Weekend, co-anchor Alicia Menendez claimed that whereas Biden is playing chess, Donald Trump is — at best — playing Hungry Hungry Hippos[billed as a game for “preschoolers.”] The daughter of Sen. Bob “Gold Bars” Menendez should describe what game he was playing. She’s not in the right place to swagger.
Co-host Symone Sanders Townsend chimed in to suggest that the better game analogy for Trump might be the card game Uno.
The comments came in the context of Biden’s participation in various recent events, including the G7 summit. Sanders-Townsend suggested that Biden’s performance counters any notion that he might be “a little too old.”
Whuh? Surely Sanders and the rest of the panel have seen this video from the G7 of a dazed and confused Biden doddering away until Italian PM Giorgia Meloni gently rescues him.
There will be no charges for the Idaho teenager who shouted a racial slur and then a vulgar comment toward the University of Utah women’s basketball team.
Furthermore, the city report on the incident undermines at least some of the claims of racial slurs.
Even though there is no indication the teenager or his friends are affiliated with extremist or racist groups, the Associated Press and National Public Radio both found it necessary to imply there was a link.
In a speech to union workers today in Philadelphia, the vice-president, Kamala Harris, said the use of the term “unified reich” in a video posted by Donald Trump was “appalling”.
“In this moment, extremists are trying to divide our nation, and we see them as they encourage xenophobia and hate,” Harris said.
“This kind of rhetoric is unsurprising coming from the former president and it is appalling. And we’ve got to tell him who we are. And once again it shows that our freedom and our very democracy are at stake.”
Joe Biden was also asked about the remark as he campaigned in New Hampshire.
“It would take too long,” he quipped as he exited a Veterans of Foreign Wars post to shouts of “criminal” and “traitor” from Trump supporters stationed outside.
Michael Cohen offered the strongest evidence to date linking former President Donald Trump to the charges he is facing in New York, serving as either a blessing or a curse to prosecutors, depending on whether the jury finds their troubled star witness credible.
Cohen, Trump’s former attorney, testified Monday during Trump’s trial that the former president knew every step of the way how Cohen was working to prevent porn star Stormy Daniels from going public right before the 2016 election with a claim that she had a sexual encounter with Trump.
Prosecutors presented evidence that Cohen had two phone calls with Trump right before Cohen went to the bank to use a shell company to wire Daniels’s attorney $130,000 as part of a settlement agreement.
“I wanted to ensure that, once again, he approved what I was doing because I require approval from him on all of this,” Cohen said of the two calls.

The third week of Donald Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan kicked off with the testimony of a familiar Trumpworld figure: former Trump attorney and fixer Michael Cohen. Cohen’s turn on the stand has been hotly anticipated since the trial got underway last month, since he’s able to directly confirm key details in the prosecution’s case, chiefly concerning the logistics of the payoff to former porn star Stormy Daniels in order to suppress her story of an alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.
Last week, House Speaker Mike Johnson joined fellow GOP members of Congress to announce the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would require those registering to vote in federal elections to show proof of US citizenship.
Nor are Republicans entirely ignoring the lack of data to support their claims. “We all know, intuitively, that a lot of illegals are voting in federal elections. But it’s not been something that is easily provable. We don’t have that number,” Johnson said during the press conference. “This legislation will allow us to do exactly that — it will prevent that from happening. And if someone tries to do it, it will now be unlawful within the states.”
How convenient and unoriginal it is to use intuition to ignore facts. “The speaker said that this question is unanswerable and relied on his intuition, but in fact, the question is very answerable,” Eliza Sweren-Becker, a senior counsel in the Voting Rights & Elections Program at the Brennan Center for Justice, said in an interview. “And it’s been answered many times, in that there is not a serious problem with noncitizen voting in the United States.”
(Bloomberg) — Using Facebook in the lead-up to the US 2020 presidential election might have increased the chances of someone voting for Donald Trump, university researchers said in a study published Monday in the academic journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
As part of the study, the researchers asked nearly 19,900 Facebook and 15,600 Instagram users to stop using the platforms ahead of the 2020 election. The authors, led by Stanford University professors Hunt Allcott and Matthew Gentzkow, found some evidence suggesting that people who used Facebook might have been more likely to vote for Trump. They noted that their finding fell “just short” of being statistically significant.
“So we need to take it with a grain of salt,” Gentzkow said in a statement. “But if it’s real, it’s big enough that it could impact the outcome of a close election.”
President Biden is taking action to protect American jobs from Chinese cheating in markets like steel and semiconductors.
The White House announced via a fact sheet:
Today’s actions to counter China’s unfair trade practices are carefully targeted at strategic sectors—the same sectors where the United States is making historic investments under President Biden to create and sustain good-paying jobs—unlike recent proposals by Congressional Republicans that would threaten jobs and raise costs across the board. The previous administration’s trade deal with China failed to increase American exports or boost American manufacturing as it had promised.
Under President Biden’s Investing in America agenda, nearly 800,000 manufacturing jobs have been created and new factory construction has doubled after both fell under the previous administration, and the trade deficit with China is the lowest in a decade—lower than any year under the last administration. We will continue to work with our partners around the world to strengthen cooperation to address shared concerns about China’s unfair practices—rather than undermining our alliances or applying indiscriminate 10 percent tariffs that raise prices on all imports from all countries, regardless whether they are engaged in unfair trade. The Biden-Harris Administration recognizes the benefits for our workers and businesses from strong alliances and a rules-based international trade system based on fair competition.
