On Monday, MS NOW celebrated their 30th anniversary with a new ad that played at the end of Morning Joe. The 15-second advertisement celebrated the network’s so-called “journalism” that supposedly “strengthens our democracy.”
Notably, amid changes to the network programming, the promotion heavily featured the nighttime duo of Lawrence O’Donnell and Rachel Maddow, two hosts who have showcased some unhinged moments in the age of Trump and whose programming was anything but impartial.
Broken up with short soundbites from O’Donnell and Maddow, the advertisement’s narrator read:

Democrat Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) has launched a sweeping new Internet regulation agenda that would push Americans toward mandatory digital ID checks before they can use social media or other online platforms.
Markey rolled out a series of bills as part of what he calls an “AI Accountability Agenda.”
The package includes close to a dozen bills under the slogan “Taking Power Back from Big Tech.”
Markey says the goal is to “take back unchecked power from Big Tech and put it into the hands of the American people.”
The four Minnesota officials who voted to pardon Tou Lue Vang, an illegal alien from Laos convicted of child rape, cited “immigration concerns” and rehabilitation as reasons for their decision, according to documents from the Minnesota Clemency Review Commission reviewed by Fox News.
The vote was 4-2 to recommend the pardon. The Minnesota Board of Pardons, made up of Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Natalie Hudson, granted Vang a full pardon, giving him a clean slate.
On Friday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the U.S. deported Vang, despite receiving a pardon from those officials.
Rashida Tlaib took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. It is unclear how she took “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” to mean “The political structures that I have to work in, that we are surrounded by, were built on slavery and genocide and oppression,” but I digress. The point, however, remains that if she believes this to be true, then she never intended to uphold her oath. That should be a bigger scandal than it is, so much so that she should be barred from ever holding elected office again. Yet, here we are, as she panders to the DSA over how she will, in fact, tear this country down.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) almost looks like a centrist now. That would have been a strange thing to say eight years ago, when she knocked off Rep. Joe Crowley, then the fourth-ranking Democrat in the House, and became the face of a new left flank that made party leaders nervous. She and the rest of the “Squad” were supposed to be the ceiling, the outer edge of what the activist base would tolerate, and Democratic leadership spent the next several years assuring anyone who would listen that the fever would break on its own, but it didn’t. If anything, the crop of candidates the party is nominating in 2026 makes Ocasio-Cortez, who still holds the same views that once alarmed her colleagues, look like someone who long ago made her peace with the establishment.
Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed is pitching Medicare for All as a universal health insurance guarantee with no premiums, copays, deductibles, networks, or out-of-pocket costs, despite warnings that eliminating virtually all patient costs would leave taxpayers responsible for the bill.
In an exclusive clip from an interview on Intellectually Petty Radio provided to Breitbart News, El-Sayed said:
“I think you need to guarantee health care for everyone, cradle to grave, without premium, copay, deductible. Medicare for all. And I just want you to imagine, right, that that card that you get in your — via your private health insurer — that card sits in your back pocket. You pay a ton of money for it, and it goes away if you lose your job. Now, imagine you had one right there, but you got the day you were born that doesn’t expire until you expire, God willing, after a long, healthy life at 120 years old in your sleep. You don’t lose it if you turn 26. You don’t lose it if you turn 65. You don’t lose it if you get married, get divorced. Doesn’t matter. It’s there for you. There’s no network, and there’s no cost out of pocket. That’s the security people need and deserve.”
The remarks show El-Sayed doubling down on Medicare for All with no premiums, no copays, no deductibles, and no out-of-pocket expenses.
Medicare as it exists today does not operate that way. Seniors commonly pay Part B premiums, face deductibles, and remain responsible for coinsurance and other out-of-pocket expenses. The program is also heavily subsidized by federal taxpayers and contributes substantially to the national debt.

A letter allegedly written by Tyler Robinson appearing to show a confession to murdering conservative activist Charlie Kirk was briefly shown to the public Thursday during a court hearing, despite a judge’s prior order barring the document from being displayed before jury selection.
The disclosure occurred during a weeklong evidentiary hearing for Robinson, 23, who faces the death penalty if convicted of assassinating the Turning Point USA founder before a crowd at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, 2025.
Utah Judge Tony Graf had ruled that materials prosecutors characterize as a confession should not be broadcast. But two images of the note — one showing the partially burned original and another depicting an intact photograph stored on Robinson’s roommate’s phone — were briefly visible on the court’s livestream before Graf noticed the mistake and had them removed.
On the fourth day of Tyler Robinson’s preliminary hearing, Judge Tony Graf just authorized the release of redacted footage from an interview with Lance Twiggs, Robinson’s roommate and romantic partner, overruling objections from the defense.
In the 23 minutes of video, prosecutor Ryan McBride questions Twiggs about the nature of his relationship with Robinson, asks him to identify Robinson on camera at Utah Valley University, and prompts him to give an account of Robinson’s behavior leading up to and after Charlie Kirk’s death.
Twiggs and Robinson met in person and became roommates in 2023 and started dating “two or three months after [Robinson] moved in.”

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on Sept. 10 in front of a massive crowd at Utah Valley University.
Just days after the young father of two was pronounced dead, 23-year-old Tyler Robinson was ushered by his parents to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, where he turned himself in.
‘I think my battery died.’
Robinson, a Utah State University dropout whom Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) said had become “more political” in the lead-up to the assassination, was subsequently charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury, and obstruction of justice as well as with witness tampering for allegedly telling his boyfriend to delete his text messages and to stay quiet if questioned by police.
The suspected assassin has yet to enter a plea.
On Monday, day one of the five-day preliminary hearing in Robinson’s murder case, prosecutors began laying out the evidence that they believe is sufficient both to convince state District Judge Tony Graf to try the case and to ultimately warrant the death penalty.
The court heard from former Utah Valley police officer Chris Bagley, who described the “crime scene,” specifically the roof of the Losee Center building where he found a red-and-black screwdriver “that looked out of place” and an apparent “sniper pad.”
Republicans are condemning as “lawfare” the efforts of Democrat New Orleans officials to arrest Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill amid a dispute about a new law’s interpretation.
“Targeting a sitting attorney general for carrying out her official duties is a dangerous attempt to weaponize the legal system against elected officials with whom they disagree,” Adam Piper, executive director of the Republican Attorneys General Association, told the Daily Signal. The Louisiana Supreme Court on Friday blocked the arrest warrant, which Piper called “liberal lawfare.”
“The idea that a grand jury would be used to investigate a sitting attorney general for issuing a legal opinion and warning public officials about the law is as outrageous as it is dangerous,” he said. “If this is allowed to stand, no attorney general will be free to provide candid legal guidance without fear of politically motivated retaliation.”
“This is nothing short of a political witch hunt against [Murrill] who was merely trying to uphold the law in accordance with the oath she took,” Gov. Jeff Landry, a Republican, posted on X Friday.

Progressive California education activists are urging the state to recognize “black English” in preschool classrooms, claiming the approach would strengthen literacy development and affirm the language spoken by many black children.
Black Californians United for Early Care & Education (BlackECE), a nonprofit advocacy organization, is promoting what it describes as an effort to challenge “harmful language hierarchies and affirm black English as a legitimate, rule-governed language rooted in black history, culture, and community.”
The group also seeks to “address how language bias shows up in early learning spaces–and how it can be dismantled.”
Ashley Williams, a co-founder of BlackECE, said the initiative is intended to ensure children feel their voices are respected regardless of how they speak.
“I don’t want my son to walk into any room and feel like his voice is not valued or his perspective can’t be heard because he’s not saying it one way or the other,” Williams told PBS.

There’s been a lot come to light about the extensive fraud perpetrated on the American taxpayers: Medicare and Medicaid fraud, COVID relief fraud, food aid fraud, and, not least of all, daycare fraud. A majority of American Jews experienced antisemitism over the past year, with many changing their behavior out of fear, according to a survey released on Friday by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) ahead of the United States’ 250th anniversary.
Slowly but surely, the DSA is taking over the Democratic Party one primary at a time. The problem with this is that most places are New York City. Sensible Americans don’t take kindly to their country being taken over by evil, naive fools. This is why Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger should have been more opposed to this takeover of her party, but she is welcoming all of it under the guise of being a so-called “big tent party.”
When Spanberger was asked if she was “concerned that the left is gaining power in your party,” she responded by stating, “I’m of the opinion that we are a big tent party; we’ve always been a big tent party.” It is unclear what this means, but we can assume she welcomes all diversity of thought, no matter how evil it is, so long as it does not benefit the other side. That will never be in the best interest of Americans, and there should be more outrage over this lack of outrage.
What is so astonishing is that so many leftist leaders are not objecting to newly elected officials working to undermine the integrity of this country. These are people who wish to turn this nation into the Third World, and the fact that this is condoned under the guise of a big tent will never be morally superior.
Preliminary hearings for the trial of Tyler Robinson, the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk, started Monday as Utah state prosecutors presented exhibits and sought their admission into the actual trial.
Utah prosecutors brought expert witnesses to the stand to testify about their involvement with the police work surrounding the assassination at Utah Valley University (UVU) on Sept. 10, 2025. They also presented multiple exhibits, including affidavits, video footage, and images. Nearly every exhibit was admitted into the trial over the objections of Robinson’s attorneys, but in one case the judge said alterations made to a compilation of videos made it inadmissible.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas, said on Friday that the United States owes “everything” to black women.
Crockett said during Essence’s Festival of Culture that every American should celebrate Independence Day by thanking black women for their contributions, including inventions and for birthing American democracy.
“When it comes to answering the question of what America owes black women, the answer is everything,” Crockett said.
“When we think about the sacrifices that black women have made from the moment that we were stolen from our homelands and transported into this country, to the fact that black women continue to stand as the backbones, specifically of the Democratic Party, we know that black women are always the ones that are doing the labor, but we are also the ones that are always the first targets of any harm.”
“So, this Fourth of July, I say celebrate a black woman that you know, because whether it’s an invention that she made, or whether it’s the very democracy that still hangs by a thread right now. There is a black woman to thank for her contributions,” Crockett added.
One deep blue D.C. suburb will not be celebrating the Fourth of July with fireworks as its local government urges residents to turn in some of their patriotic neighbors.
In Alexandria, Virginia, the local government suggests reporting neighbors who are using fireworks, said an X post.
“Fireworks are illegal in Alexandria, including sparklers. Report illegal fireworks by calling 311. Our show is next weekend,” the post read.
“Any fireworks found inside the City can be taken away. If you are caught with fireworks, you could face a Class 1 misdemeanor charge. That means up to one year in jail, a $2,500 fine or both,” the Alexandria Fire Department reminded the community in a press release.
