On June 9, Karmelo Anthony, 19, was convicted of murder and sentenced to 35 years in prison.

He was found guilty in the April 2, 2025, fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, a track athlete from a rival high school, during a Frisco Independent School District track meet in Frisco, Texas. Anthony, then a student at Centennial High, stabbed Metcalf in the chest during an altercation.

Anthony’s defense claimed he acted in self-defense, despite Metcalf being unarmed.

The controversial fundraising campaign launched on behalf of Karmelo Anthony has been taken offline following his murder conviction, but the convicted murderer’s family will retain the more than $600,000 raised through the effort as they prepare to appeal the case.

Anthony was convicted Tuesday of murdering 17-year-old Austin Metcalf after a Collin County jury rejected his self-defense claims and sentenced him to 35 years in prison.

Less than 24 hours after the verdict, Anthony’s attorneys filed a notice of appeal, while family members vowed to continue fighting the conviction.

Most people with at least half a brain understand that what Karmelo Anthony did is legally defined as murder. This has nothing to do with the color of his skin. It should also not be controversial to throw convicted murderers in prison. But because this man had a certain skin color, many people with low IQs have a problem with this. And one of those low-IQ losers appears to be allegedly on the hunt for people who were on the jury that convicted the murderer.

Yesterday, I came across a video in which a black man films himself riding down the street on a bicycle, reportedly in Florida, before he pulls over where a white man is sitting on the ground talking to a white woman while they appear to be waiting for a bus. Out of nowhere and without provocation, the black man punches the seated white man in the head, accusing him of being part of the “jury selection” for the Karmelo Anthony trial; he also says to the white man, who is a veteran, “you gonna die.”

While Washington debates spending cuts and California pleads for more federal money, a new report shows hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded welfare flowed into California households headed by illegal immigrant parents in 2025.

A new report from the Administration for Children and Families found that roughly $617.5 million in cash assistance went to California households through so-called “child-only” Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cases during fiscal year 2024. That’s more than 81 percent of all spending nationwide under the program’s immigration-related, child-only category.

For most Americans, welfare comes with strings attached. Recipients are generally expected to work or prepare for work, and benefits are subject to a lifetime limit.

He entered a guilty plea on Thursday after reaching a deal with federal prosecutors that avoids the possibility of a death penalty trial.

Vance Boelter, the man accused of killing a former Minnesota House speaker and her husband last year in what investigators called a targeted act of political violence entered a guilty plea on Thursday after reaching a deal with federal prosecutors that avoids the possibility of a death penalty trial, reports NBC News.

A handwritten letter reportedly found in Boelter’s abandoned car contained a series of claims about Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, alleging he “wanted me to kill” U.S. Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith so Walz could run for a Senate seat.

He appeared in an orange jail jumpsuit and confirmed in court that he carried out the crimes. When asked by the judge if he conducted surveillance on the victims beforehand, Boelter said, “yes.”

Justice was served when Karmelo Anthony was found guilty of murder. Yet, the radical left is treating him as the innocent victim, a martyr, and is attacking his victim’s family as the enemy. The racial grievance machine is running at full speed, and it’s absolutely horrific.

Thelma Anderson, a black legal activist, appeared on Roland Martin Unfiltered and went to work rolling out all the buzzards to inflame a race war. Anderson defended Anthony, then went further by casting the supporters of Austin Metcalf’s family as the villains in her story.

“First and foremost, the one thing that I would axe for people to do at this moment is pray for the Anthony family because they have been legally lynched for the last year and more so by this slaughterhouse of a courthouse as well as the family of the Metcalfs,” she said. “The energy right now is very white supremacy.

Vice President JD Vance has formally referred Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison to the Department of Justice Monday for criminal investigation after a new House Oversight report documented years of ignored fraud warnings. “The evidence is overwhelming that state officials knew about systemic fraud in Minnesota’s social services programs and chose to look the other way,”

Vance said in a statement. Washington Times: Mr. Vance, the administration’s fraud czar, said he was making the referral after reviewing the findings from the House Oversight Committee. The committee’s report, published Monday, alleges that Walz and Ellison were “aware of widespread taxpayer fraud in federally funded social programs for years” and did not take steps to stop it.

An estimated $300 million in federal child nutrition funds and potentially $9 billion in Medicaid-related funds were “lost” or placed at “serious risk,” according to the report. “As a result, potentially billions of American taxpayer dollars were allowed to flow to fraudulent actors, while vulnerable populations were harmed and whistleblowers were ignored, sidelined and retaliated against,” the report says (Washington Times).

Trump was right. Jasmine Crockett is truly one of the most low-IQ members of society — and it might not even be close.

Crockett said her heart breaks for the Karmelo Anthony verdict. This is because she believes a young man will be sent to prison for 35 years when he has his whole life ahead of him. And no, she did not mention that another young man’s life was forever taken far too early. She was not concerned about the victim or the family.

Per TMZ:

Rep. Crockett doesn’t hold back as she explains why the case hits close to home … and why race and venue played a huge role.

One thing she makes abundantly clear … she doesn’t think Anthony got a fair shake … especially in front of a jury that did not have a single Black juror.

Rep. Crockett feels Anthony’s claim that he was afraid during the fatal confrontation at a high school track meet was largely dismissed … and she questions whether jurors would’ve viewed the situation differently if the races were reversed.

The second largest teachers union in the U.S. may be using pensions to advance their political agenda, an education watchdog suggests.

The American Federation of Teachers (AFT) has advocated for fossil fuel divestments, pro-DEI boycotts and other pressure campaigns, Consumers’ Research told acting U.S. Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling in a letter Thursday. The letter requests an investigation into whether AFT is influencing public pension trustees to go beyond their fiduciary duties and use their position to invest in the union’s political priorities.

Millions of educators rely on public pension fiduciaries to retire. While AFT doesn’t directly control public pension funds, over 50 AFT-affiliated trustees serve on 27 public pensions funds, according to the letter.

A Collin County, Texas, jury found Karmelo Anthony guilty of murder on Tuesday for the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a high school track meet in Frisco in April 2025. The jury rejected Anthony’s claim that he acted in self-defense.

The jury returned the verdict after roughly three hours of deliberation. Reports indicate the jurors did not opt for a lesser manslaughter conviction.

The New York Post provided a brief recap of the events that led to Metcalf’s death:

The violent confrontation erupted in the bleachers of Kuykendall Stadium when Anthony refused to leave the tent reserved for the Memorial High School track team during a rain delay.

Anthony was repeatedly asked to leave the tent multiple times, and Metcalf began to argue with him.

The argument escalated further when Anthony said to Metcalf “touch me and see what happens,” while keeping his hand hidden in his backpack, implying that he had a weapon, according to FOX4.

Metcalf pushed him and Anthony fatally stabbed him in the chest with a knife.

Witnesses for the state testified that Anthony acted as the aggressor.

Anthony was caught on video stating, “I’m not alleged, I did it.”

“He put his hands on me.”

Candidate Nithya Raman in the Los Angeles mayoral race came in third place on election night, June 2, so far behind second place finisher Spencer Platt that she essentially conceded the election in a tearful farewell. And then, miracle of miracle, over the next few days as more and more mail-in ballots kept rolling in, Raman suddenly surged in the votes, often exceeding first place Karen Bass in some counts and doubling the percentage of her election day returns to the extent that by Sunday she surpassed Pratt in the vote, thus apparently landing a spot in the November runoff elections.

Many Angelenos witnessed federal agents ushering men and women into vans on the side of the street.

In response, locals flooded the streets to protest what was happening to immigrant families in their own backyard.
