Anyone who is a big fan of socialism, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and who hates Israel has to be loving what played out on Tuesday in the three House primary races where the mayor made an endorsement.  All three of the candidates he backed, Brad Lander in NY-10, Claire Valdez in NY-07, and Darializa Avila Chevalier in NY-13, have moved on to the general election, where they are likely to be victorious in the heavily blue gerrymandered districts.

Of the three, Avila Chevalier’s victory was the narrowest, with her barely squeaking by five-term incumbent Rep. Adriano Espaillat, who is the Chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. He’s also the co-chair of the House Latino-Jewish Caucus, which might have been one thing that helped sink his reelection bid, considering the anti-Israel, pro-Hamas sentiment that has taken root in the Big Apple under Mamdani’s “leadership.”

Last July, a group of armed Antifa militants ambushed an ICE detention facility in Texas, bringing rifles, body armor, and military-style medical kits. During the attack, one officer was shot through the neck. On Tuesday, several Antifa militants who participated in the attack were sentenced — including one individual who was convicted of attempted murder.

But you might not necessarily glean that if you read the Washington Post’s headline of the story.

“Federal judges in Texas on Tuesday gave eight members of an alleged ‘antifa cell’ prison sentences as long as 100 years for their roles last summer in a protest that turned violent outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility,” Molly Hennessy-Fiske wrote. (The SEO headline for the piece states: “Alleged antifa members in Texas are sentenced for ICE protest”).

Mayor Zohran Mamdani has legitimized Jew-hatred in NYC. This is the result. This coffee shop should be shut down.

A coffee shop in New York City that attacked Rep. Dan Goldman, whose primary against fellow Democrat Brad Lander ended yesterday, took to Instagram to express its revulsion at having inadvertently sold him coffee. The Justice Department noticed, and is investigating.

NBC New York: A social media tête-a-tête between a New York City coffee shop and a Democrat in Congress has caught the attention of the federal government. Poetica Coffee, a chain of half a dozen locations throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, told Rep. Dan Goldman he was no longer welcome in their stores for his support of Israel. The store made the declaration in a since-deleted Instagram post accompanying what appeared to be a surveillance image of the lawmaker standing by the register.

If President Trump is still trying to weed out government workers who are threatening to undermine his agenda from within, he might want to take a look at one of his immigration judges named Holly D’Andrea.

In an interview with The New York Times (repackaged this week for The Daily podcast), D’Andrea said something that’s a dead giveaway when someone wants to thwart elections and impose their own agendas— that certain government institutions and agencies need independence from the president, or separation from the political process.

“We’re getting to a point now where it’s just getting more and more necessary to have that full separation of power and have the immigration courts separate from the Department of Justice,” D’Andrea said. “Take the policy influence away from the courts, so the courts can just enforce the law. That’s all any of the immigration judges want. We want to be able to enforce the law and not be subject to just the policies.”

London — Labour Party lawmaker Andy Burnham, who looks increasingly likely to be Britain’s next prime minister, has previously criticized President Trump, accusing the American leader of bringing “instability” to the world.

Current Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced Monday that he would resign in the wake of disastrous local elections in May, and 20 resignations from his government.

As his Labour Party still has a large majority of seats in the U.K. parliament — won in the last national elections in 2024 — it gets to pick Starmer’s replacement, and Burnham is widely expected to get the job.

A self-described socialist who previously called for abolishing police, seizing private property, eliminating borders, ending deportations, and nationalizing industries has defeated a five-term Democrat incumbent in New York City, marking another major victory for the growing far-left movement aligned with NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Darializa Avila Chevalier, a 32-year-old anti-American community organizer, doctoral student, and member of the Democratic Socialists of America, won Tuesday’s Democratic Party primary in New York’s 13th Congressional District.

According to election results, Chevalier secured roughly 49.4 percent of the vote, defeating Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY), who received approximately 45.9 percent.

Since 2014, when Disney and ABC brought The View into the news division, the liberal ladies have been using and abusing their “bona fide” news program status to push Democratic Party propaganda, openly support Democratic candidates, and push unfounded conspiracy theories against conservatives and Republicans. On Monday, the Media Research Center (MRC) submitted a massive filing with the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) making the case that The View didn’t deserve that special status and was actively breaching ABC’s broadcasting license.

The MRC’s filing caught ABC and Disney completely off guard as the corporations scrambled to rally their supporters the day the filing was due. Of course, the appeal to fans give wrong information and lies.

The Trump administration has tried to rig the midterm election with schemes that go way beyond gerrymandering.

At the heart of all the president’s plans are various illegal executive orders that he signed, all related to voting.

One of those executive orders required the Social Security Administration to turn over personal information so a database could be created to purge voters.

The scheme was clearly illegal, and U.S. District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan blocked the database:

This case implicates two fundamental rights that protect Americans from government overreach: the right to privacy and the right to vote. In the past year, several federal agencies have joined forces to create a centralized federal database that contains the private information of United States citizens, including Social Security numbers, citizenship status, and other sensitive data. But decades ago, Congress put protections in place to prevent precisely this type of centralized data bank. And the record in this case shows that the federal agencies that created this database knew that the database violates those statutory protections.

The agencies were scrambling to comply with an Executive Order aimed at reshaping federal elections, which directed them to create a system for mass voter verification. So they haphazardly combined and repurposed the private information of millions of Americans, including citizenship data that they knew to be unreliable.

Since then, states have partnered with the federal government to access the database and are actively removing United States citizens from voter rolls based on inaccurate information. All in all, the federal government has knowingly trampled on the privacy rights of American citizens in a manner that threatens the sacred right to vote. This Court cannot stand idly by while that happens.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool has a new problem: it’s starting to smell.

Washington, D.C., freelance photographer Joe Flood posted a photo on X on Monday of the pool being actively drained. “As they drain it, the Reflecting Pool is starting to smell,” he wrote.

President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social on Saturday that the pool would “probably be forced to release and drain much of the water in order to do the necessary repairs.”

The drain order came after a $14 million no-bid renovation cratered almost immediately. Workers painted the pool bottom “American flag blue” — then algae bloomed within days, turning the water green and sending the new paint peeling off in strips.

Trump blamed unnamed vandals, without offering evidence. United States Park Police separately arrested David Carter Hearn, 67, a three-time Olympic canoeist who says he stopped at the site out of curiosity and reached down to touch a piece of peeling paint. He was charged with misdemeanor destruction of government property.

“I was just a curious, concerned citizen,” Hearn told the Washington Post. “I guess I was there at the wrong place, wrong time.”

Professor took part in anti-Israel protest that caused $3M in damage

An anti-Israel professor who was previously arrested for participating in violent protests on campus will teach “Politics of the Middle East” at the City University of New York this upcoming fall semester.

Corinna Mullin is “also slated to teach ‘Government and Politics in the Middle East and North Africa’ at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she’ll talk about the Arab-Israeli conflict, political Islam, political Judaism, petro-politics and US foreign policy in the region,” the New York Post reported.

Progressive California Governor Gavin Newsom called news of a DOJ investigation targeting him a political persecution, not a legitimate prosecution. The investigation, however, began under the Biden DOJ, not Trump’s DOJ, and is only now coming to light.

The DOJ is investigating numerous alleged acts of fraud and graft committed by the Governor. Newsom claimed, “Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime – they are simply trying to find one. He isn’t coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I am considering running for President.…”

Despite these warnings, the Biden administration went ahead with a systematic effort to investigate parents for committing potential crimes by voicing their dissent against progressive policies.

Anthony told the interviewer that she asked the jury to “have mercy” on her son but that she knew “they had their minds made up already.”

FBI Director Kash Patel announced Tuesday that the feds disrupted a “two wave” domestic terrorist plot targeting the UFC Freedom 250 celebration prior to the event held on the White House South Lawn, Sunday.

Five anti-Israel, Epstein-obsessed suspects are currently in custody following a multi-state operation that was initiated when the threat was discovered on June 10. The suspects have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Investigators have identified a potential network of 23 anti-Trump suspects involved in the pre-operational planning on encrypted Signal chats.

The patriotic UFC event was held on the South Lawn as part of President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday weekend, drawing an estimated 4,300 attendees, including about 1,200 active-duty service members. Another 85,000 people watched the grand spectacle on giant screens at the nearby Ellipse.

California is “too gay to function.” And if you are surprised by this, you are not paying attention.

According to Chris Rufo, in California, the left is prioritizing contracts for “state-certified gay-owned businesses.” It is unclear how your business can get certified in gayness, but I digress.

Per City Journal:

In 1986, Governor George Deukmejian signed Assembly Bill 3678, which required certain CPUC-regulated utilities to submit annual “plans” for buying goods and services from woman- and minority-owned companies. Two years later, CPUC created its “Supplier Diversity Program,” which would enforce the law and set contracting “goals” for large utilities.

Under a series of Democratic governors, the program has expanded to include gay-owned businesses. In September 2014, then-Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation requiring CPUC to recognize “LGBT-owned businesses” as eligible for supplier-diversity benefits. Five years later, Governor Gavin Newsom expanded the program further, “encouraging” other companies involved in the energy sector to award contracts to gay-owned firms.
