Socialist Energy Growing in Democratic Party: Zohran Mamdani Endorses Radical Darializa Avila Chevalier in New York’ 13th Congressional District

Darializa Chevalier, who is running for Congress and endorsed by Zohran Mamdani, founded the group at Columbia that posted “Death to America,” and said that it’s part of the same movement as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.

Chevalier founded a Columbia University group that posted “Death to America” and declared itself part of the same movement as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. According to the Free Beacon, she also praised a convicted Palestinian terrorist involved in a bombing that killed two Israeli civilians. Within Democratic Socialist circles, critics have dubbed her a “Palestine ultra.”

Mamdani’s endorsement is more than a local political alliance—it’s a window into the direction of an increasingly radical Democratic Party. Candidates once confined to the activist fringe are now being elevated by the party’s rising socialist wing, bringing anti-Israel and anti-American rhetoric ever closer to the halls of Congress.

Jihadi Mayor Zohran Mamdani gutted legal protections for Jewish New Yorkers in his first hours in office, then his administration illegally buried the records that could expose why City Hall did it, who helped shape the decision, and how far its anti-Israel agenda now reaches, a new lawsuit alleges.

The suit, filed in New York State Supreme Court by veteran investigative journalist Richard Behar, seeks to force the city and Mamdani to turn over public records tied to Executive Order No. 1, the mayor’s Jan. 1, 2026 order rescinding a series of executive orders issued by former Mayor Eric Adams after the October 7 terrorist attacks on Israel and ensuing explosion of anti-Jewish bigotry across the U.S.

Adams’ orders created the Mayor’s Office to Combat Antisemitism, adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism, barred city participation in BDS-style discrimination against Israel, protected Israeli investments and economic ties, and directed enhanced NYPD protections for houses of worship.

Mamdani wiped those protections out on day one.

“This makes me feel very uneasy for my child’s safety, if the number of safety agents are cut, who would their responsibilities fall upon?”

New York City socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani has proposed eliminating 264 school safety agents in the upcoming fiscal year, raising concerns from parents amid rising reports of violence in public schools.

The staffing reduction was included in the mayor’s preliminary budget and was highlighted on Monday during a Fiscal Year 2027 hearing by New York City Council Education Chair Eric Dinowitz.

Politicians love to say they will be the guy (or gal) who represents all the people. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said the same thing throughout his 2025 campaign for the highest office in the Big Apple: that he would be mayor for all the people. But at least one New York City councilman is now saying, “not so much,” when it comes to where in the city that Mamdani is focusing on various improvement projects.

City Councilman Phil Wong of Queens is accusing Mamdani of playing favorites, and distributing resources for city improvement efforts in neighborhoods that voted for him. There may also be some disturbing proof of this. A 2025 election map overlaid with Mamdani’s “First 100 Days” map using AI, compares voting demographics to where the various projects going on around the city are located. Some of these projects include roadwork, housing, and public transportation improvements.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani hosted a Pride event at City Hall. He did this not because it makes the lives of residents better off, but because he is beholden to leftist ideology. The insanity should have stopped there, but of course, in perfect leftist fashion, it certainly did not.

The city will now offer new gender-affirming care services. Again, to claim this does nothing beneficial to anyone would be an understatement.

These people are “too gay to function.”

Manhattan’s average one-bedroom apartment now costs more than $5,000 a month, and critics say the real culprit is not landlord greed. It is government failure.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani rolled out his housing proposal, “Block by Block: The Housing Plan for a New Era,” on May 20, promising to build 200,000 “affordable” rent-controlled homes and preserve another 200,000 existing units over the next decade.

The price tag is just as sweeping as the promise: $22 billion in taxpayer money over five years.

But critics warn the plan looks less like a solution and more like a government takeover of the housing market, with City Hall doubling down on the same policies that helped create the crisis in the first place.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani blasted the decision to increase the number of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers headed to his city as the 2026 FIFA World Cup begins this week. He posted a comment on X on Monday afternoon, calling it “an attempt to divide us” before crediting immigrants as the reason soccer exists in the first place.

“Soccer would not exist without immigrants,” Mamdani said on X. “Immigrants play and coach the game, work in the stadiums, fill the stands, and make celebrations like the World Cup possible. Six of the players on the US Men’s National Team are immigrants.”

If you hope to appeal to the average voter, the last thing a candidate should be doing is throwing around a basketball, promising things that don’t make sense. But that is precisely what several New York Democrats did, as they beg voters to cast their ballots in their favor, as the election is on June 21.

The ad starts with Mayor Zohran Mamdani claiming “anything is possible with a great team,” right before passing the ball to Brad Lander. Lander claims he will block billionaires from buying elections. It is unclear how he will have the power to prevent people from doing that, but that is because it is just another leftist lie to give people hope that their vote matters. He claims this will protect Democracy. However, for some reason, whenever the left claims to be fighting for Democracy, it almost always seems to destroy it. Why do you think that is?

Lander then passed the ball to Darializa Avila Chevalier, who claims she will defend New York by abolishing ICE. It is not known how you can defend the people of your city by fighting for foreign nationals who have broken federal immigration laws, but that is because you cannot. By pretending to fight for New Yorkers, she has proven who she truly intends to represent, and it certainly is not you — the American people. But what else is new?

The Trump administration has launched an investigation into New York City Public Schools over allegations that pro-Hamas activism by educators may have crossed the line into anti-Semitic instruction targeting Jewish students.

The probe was launched over allegations that teachers sought to sow “hatred toward Jewish students” during classroom instruction.

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights confirmed it opened the probe after receiving complaints that teachers were promoting political messaging in classrooms and portraying Israel supporters as “genocidal white supremacists.”

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani branded Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as “cruel and inhumane” after about 200 anti-ICE agitators rioted outside a New York City hospital Saturday night where a criminal illegal alien with previous arrests was being held.

Whistle-blowing, profanity-spewing rioters damaged several ICE vehicles and assaulted ICE officers, resulting in minor injuries, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

“They [ICE] do nothing to serve in the interest of public safety, and I’ve said that even directly to the president,” the Communist NYC mayor told Gothamist reporter Liam Quigley on Sunday when asked about the melee.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani reiterated his commitment to socialism over the weekend when pressed on a funding shortfall that could prevent him from carrying out some of his top priorities.

“I believe in it even more than I did the day before [the election], and that’s because of the fact that it is focused on the needs of working people,” Mamdani said during an NBC Meet the Press interview released Saturday. “And working people need that focus, that fight from politicians more than ever.”

Mamdani was questioned about how he plans to carry out his hopes of freezing the rent on roughly one million apartments in the country’s largest city, as well as making buses free and providing free universal child care, despite facing a $5.4 billion budget deficit. In response, the mayor said he has already made significant progress in closing the budget gap, and touted Gov. Kathy Hochul’s (D-NY) proposal for a new tax on residents who own second homes in New York City that are worth $5 million or more as a policy that will advance his goals.

Barack Obama met with Zohran Mamdani for the first time on Saturday at a childcare center where the former Democratic US president and mayor of New York City read to preschoolers and led a sing-along.

The meeting comes as Mamdani, a democratic socialist who marked his 100th day in office just over a week earlier, is also trying to build a working relationship with Donald Trump – Obama’s Republican presidential successor.

Obama and Mamdani did not take questions after reading the book Alone and Together to the children – and leading a sing-along of The Wheels on the Bus.

Obama, a standard-bearer for the Democratic party, has offered to be a sounding board for Mamdani, 34. Mamdani’s star power, youth and progressive agenda has made him stand out in Democratic politics.

We told you that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani would be bad, and the democrat socialist has proven to be as terrible or perhaps even worse than we warned.

He’s continued his antisemitic rhetoric and demeaning of police, wants to tax the wealthy out of existence (or at least, out of the state), and is striving to make DEI great again — just what nobody needs.

On Sunday, he announced that the city’s first city-run grocery store will open in East Harlem, and it will cost $30 million to build and take over a year to complete.

Trump could probably build a dozen of these for $30 million. Why so much? Union wages play a part, but that doesn’t explain it all, considering Mamdani had earlier promised five stores for a mere $70 million:

Even assuming New York City’s priciest union-driven construction costs, a standard-sized 25,000-square-foot grocery store should only be about $15 million to build, said Adam Lehodey, an expert at the Manhattan Institute.

“Thirty million dollars for one store is exceptionally high, considering land prices are a significant part of the capital costs of new construction, and the city has announced that rents will be waived,” he said.

The ghosts of the old Soviet Union leaders are beaming with pride when they watch this video:

You have to be an absolute monster to be sent to Rikers Island. Mamdani’s constituency. But he won’t meet with the families of the people these violent criminals have killed or the the women they’ve raped or the NYPD injured in the line of duty. Just the criminals.

This is another fitting example of why many are fleeing New York City. The dynamic is nicely captured in the opening of a piece at Tablet magazine: “My breaking point wasn’t getting mugged,” Josh Greenberg, a digital media strategist who left Park Slope, New York, in early 2022, told me. “It was realizing the city had more sympathy for the guy that mugged me than they did for me.”

Editors note: The reason why I place “fast” in quotes is because you can eat like a horse in the morning and you can eat like a horse in the evening. I do not consider that a “fast.”

Blurb:

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is one of the most singularly focused Democrat politicians I’ve seen in a long time. He often will turn anything, any unrelated news event, any public appearance, into a discussion about the so-called “Palestinian cause,” and how Israel and, via extension, America, is allegedly committing “genocide” against the Hamas (and Hezbollah) terrorists who literally want to wipe the Jewish people and their western allies off the map.

We saw this, for instance, the weekend of March 7th and 8th, when Mamdani’s first words about the attempted terrorist attack by two adult teens – who the DOJ said were inspired by ISIS – on anti-Mamdani demonstrators that weekend at Gracie Mansion, were to condemn… Islamophobia.

“This was a vile protest rooted in white supremacy entitled ‘Stop the Islamic takeover of New York City,” Mamdani proclaimed. “I’m the first Muslim mayor of our city. Anti-Muslim bigotry is nothing new to me, nor is it anything new to the roughly one million New Yorkers who know this city as our home,” he went on to say while merely giving a passing reference to the attack itself, where IEDs were thrown.

On March 7, a throng of left-wing counter protestors met with a small right-wing protest outside Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D). From within the crowd, 18-year-old Emir Balat threw a homemade bomb and yelled “Allahu akbar.” Balat and his friend Ibrahim Kayumi were arrested for the attack, and law enforcement later determined that the two were ISIS sympathizers.

All of the above information was publicly available by the afternoon of March 7. By 2:00 p.m. ET, several videos of Balat throwing the bomb were already circulating on social media, in which he could clearly be heard yelling the well-known Islamist slogan.

Despite all of that information being readily available, The New York Times’s first headline about the incident read: “Homemade Bomb Thrown at Protest Near N.Y.C. Mayor’s House, Police Say” — a summary so vague that it almost seemed to pin the bomb-throwing on the right-wing protestors.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani proudly announced the creation of the Office for LGBTQIA+ Affairs and nominated a transgender-identifying male to lead it.

Mamdani said that New York City had the highest number of “queer” people of any city in the U.S. during the announcement Friday. Attorney Taylor Brown will be the first transgender person to lead an agency or office in New York City.

‘With Taylor Brown as director of the new Office of LGBTQIA+ Affairs, the city’s queer community will not only be celebrated, but protected at every turn.’

Last weekend, an attempted bombing occurred outside Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York City’s Muslim mayor, Zohran Mamdani (D). During a heated clash between anti-Islam protesters and a group of counterprotesters, two teenagers from Pennsylvania — 18-year-old Emir Balat and 19-year-old Ibrahim Kayumi — allegedly threw two improvised explosive devices toward the crowd.

Fortunately, neither bomb detonated, and no one was injured. Both Balat and Kayumi were arrested and charged with attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, using a weapon of mass destruction, transportation of explosive materials, and unlawful possession of destructive devices.

TPUSA Frontlines photojournalist Gabriel Victal was present at the scene when the attack occurred. But the attempted bombing, he says, “wasn’t the first instance” of violence.

It’s come to the point for CNN where the only thing worse than people not watching their channel is when people watch their channel.

Oh, sure, the former Don Lemon Network™ has plenty of issues with the former. You’re not going to have to give up your jokes about measuring CNN viewership by airport delays anytime soon. But with those airport delays (thanks for the DHS shutdown, Democrats!) comes additional opportunities to check out what they’re doing over there — and holy moly, are they still screwing things up.

Take the attempted terror attack near Gracie Mansion in New York City on Saturday, purportedly by a couple of Islamic State group-inspired nutjobs. (Or, as the network might have called it back in 2020, “fiery but mostly peaceful protesters.”)

The calls were made to either 911 or non-emergency law enforcement lines.

Mental illness often prevents the afflicted from recognizing reality and adjusting their behavior accordingly.

With that in mind, the wokeness that infects so many leftists’ brains surely qualifies as a disease. After all, not even when they morph into literal satire do they stop and reflect on their absurd views.

For instance, in a remarkable pair of posts on the social media platform X, leftist actor and comedian Walter Masterson doubled down on his pro-open borders rhetoric even after a literal Islamic terrorist tossed a bomb over Masterson’s shoulder and into a crowd at an anti-Islam protest Saturday.

The FBI has found explosive residue in a Pennsylvania storage unit that authorities believe is connected to the ISIS-inspired attempted bombing in New York City that took place on Saturday. Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, and Emir Balat, 18, are facing federal charges in connection with the attempted bombing attack.

“Yesterday’s search of the storage unit believed to be connected to the Gracie Mansion incident revealed explosive residue. FBI Special Agent Bomb Technicians and the local bomb squads conducted a controlled detonation to ensure the safety of law enforcement and others in the area. We’re thankful for the assistance of the FBI Philadelphia Field Office and the local Middletown and Newton agencies who assisted our office throughout the night,” the FBI said in a post to X.

Blurb:

That post, however, quickly drew heavy backlash for appearing to downplay the attempted bombing that took place.

CNN later deleted the post, then apologized, writing on X, “A post regarding the two individuals arrested for throwing homemade bombs outside of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s home failed to reflect the gravity of the incident thereby breaching the editorial standards we require for all our reporting. It has therefore been deleted.”

Balat was seen on video throwing the explosive device that failed to detonate. At the same time, he yelled “Allahu Akbar.” Kayumi and Balat indicated to police that they carried out the actions because they had pledged allegiance to ISIS, according to the criminal complaint.

Blurb:

The NYPD has confirmed that the device thrown at conservative protesters in New York City was not just a crude explosive—it was a shrapnel bomb packed with nuts, bolts, and screws designed to maximize carnage. Police say that had it detonated, the blast could have killed or maimed large numbers of people in the crowd. New York came frighteningly close to a mass-casualty attack.
