Former CNN anchor Don Lemon is among the defendants named in a civil lawsuit filed by a St. Paul church congregant over the disruption of a worship service on January 18, 2026, at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. Pressley has repeatedly accused ICE agents of being “racist.”
“In the same way that the KKK cannot be reformed, another, you know, masked militia group, I do not believe that ICE can be reformed and that this has anything to do with training and protocols,” Pressley said.
The media hall monitors are fond of berating the Bari Weiss-run CBS Evening News as Trump-friendly or “MAGA-coded.” So far, the network has quite easily managed to beat those allegations. The FBI under Joe Biden subpoenaed the phone records of now-FBI Director Kash Patel and now-White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles in 2022 and 2023, when both were private citizens. The phone records grab was part of the Biden administration’s investigation into Donald Trump.

The trans nonbinary suspect accused of shooting a US Border Patrol agent in New Hampshire on Sunday has been charged with attempted murder and assault of a federal officer. Blu Zeke Daly, 26, of Manchester, previously known as “Cullen Zeke Daly,” reportedly pulled a vehicle up to a closed gate at the US-Canadian Pittsburgh Port of Entry and fired gunshots at a Border Patrol agent when approached.
Daly sustained injuries during the attack when the Border Patrol agent returned gunfire, striking the defendant in an act of self-defense. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 20-years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Wednesday on MS NOW’s “The Briefing,” Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) said Republicans have been allowing “racism in their party for decades.”
Host Jen Psaki said, “You’ve talked about your battle with dyslexia a lot publicly over the years. You wrote a children’s book. And you talk about it a lot in the book in terms of dealing with undiagnosed dyslexia as a child. The New York City Police Department released photos of two people wanted in Monday’s mob attack on cops amid a snowball fight, which reportedly caused multiple injuries to officers.
The NYPD Facebook post indicates that “two uniformed police officers were inside Washington Square Park when two individuals intentionally struck the officers multiple times with snow and ice causing injury to their head, neck, and face. A student believed to be part of an anti-ICE walkout in West Palm Beach, Florida, was hit by a car Monday and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said officers responded to the incident around 12:30 p.m. near the South Wind Plaza on North Military Trail, CBS 12 reported Monday.
The driver remained at the scene, and the young person was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Video footage showed firefighters and police officers surrounding the student, who was lying on the ground as traffic passed. The minor was reportedly a student from Palm Beach Lakes Community High School:
“The minor being struck by a vehicle comes as hundreds of students from at least four Palm Beach County high schools took to the streets in coordinated protest against ICE. The schools involved were reported to be Lake Worth Beach High School, John I. Leonard High School, Royal Palm Beach High School, and Palm Beach Lakes High School,” the CBS article said.

On May 6, 2023, the Leaders Academy in Philadelphia posted to its YouTube channel a video of a performance made by students of Palestinian heritage at the academy’s “One Ummah Day” event. In the video, schoolgirls are seen singing and acting out a song praising “brave” Palestinian girls who are the sisters and daughters of “real men.” In one part, the song describes a grandmother who arms her granddaughters with a stone and sells her jewelry in order to purchase firearms. Another part of the song describes a girl sending her brother off to battle and telling him: “I will saddle up your horse, and I will tie a dagger to your belt – enhance your resolve.” The video was also posted to the Facebook page of the Alhidaya Islamic Center in Philadelphia, with which Leaders Academy is affiliated.
It should be noted that the Philadelphia chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS) has previously posted to its Facebook page videos from the Leaders Academy’s “One Ummah Day” events from 2017 and 2019, in which young students sang “Chop off their heads!” and expressed their will to become martyrs for the sake of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. A public high school teacher in upstate New York has been placed on paid administrative leave after agreeing to serve as faculty adviser for a student-led chapter affiliated with Turning Point USA.
Jennifer Fasulo, a Spanish teacher at Charles W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, near Syracuse, has been out of the classroom since January 30.
The Baldwinsville Central School District confirmed her leave in a February 10 letter to parents, stating:

Students who participated in an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) walkout at a Kansas high school were seen assaulting classmates holding pro-Donald Trump flags, an incident that drew backlash and prompted the school’s principal to lock his social media.
Viral video showed two students at Olathe Northwest High School being attacked by other students while holding Trump flags during the anti-ICE walkout. One nearby anti-ICE student held a sign reading “End ICE brutality” as the students were attacked.

On Thursday’s CNN This Morning, the panel reacted with alarm to reports that the Department of Homeland Security is compiling data on anti-ICE activists. Host Audie Cornish played a clip in which an ICE agent, in what she described as a “tossed off” remark, told a protester she was now considered a “domestic terrorist.” Cornish claimed that such language, once written into a report, “becomes a real problem for someone.”
Republican panelist Kristen Soltis Anderson urged viewers to “think about what would have happened during the Tea Party era, when the shoe’s on the other foot, about how upset conservatives would have been at the idea of the government tracking their speech in any kind of way. And so I always just think it’s useful to imagine, like, what if the parties were flipped here? And I think a lot of conservatives would be in, would be unbelievably outraged, and rightly so, if a Democratic administration was trying to track them.”
“If people know that you’re a serious person and you’re going to protect yourself, they’re not going to be as quick to mess with you,” she said.
Following the anti-ICE disruption at City Hall on Wednesday night, a Portland City Council member proposed allowing councilors to open carry firearms in the chambers. Loretta Smith, a Democrat, called the incident a “mini insurrection” and believes councilors need to take greater precautions to protect themselves from leftist agitators.
Smith, who represents District 1, drafted a city ordinance that would allow lawmakers to open carry while conducting official city business. Smith told OPB that she has never carried a firearm before, but now feels the need to do so. “It’s a defensive mechanism,” she said. “If people know that you’re a serious person and you’re going to protect yourself, they’re not going to be as quick to mess with you.”
