Just days after the Trump Justice Department proposed a rule to combat the left’s use of “barfare” to destroy conservative lawyers, the legal disciplinary authority in the Department’s own backyard may have vindicated its effort by launching an attack on U.S. Pardon Attorney Ed Martin.
On March 6, the Washington, D.C. Office of Disciplinary Counsel filed charges and initiated disciplinary proceedings against the MAGA stalwart in a case that could drag on for months or longer, waste precious taxpayer resources, and result in sanctions up to and including disbarment.
Farm worker rights icon Cesar Chavez, who led the battle to unionize agricultural labor, is being accused of sexual abuse involving underage girls.
A report in The New York Times cited accounts from multiple women, several of whom were underage at the time, who were either intimidated or forced to have sex with Chavez.
The report led to calls for the legacy of the liberal icon to be reconsidered.
Israel Flores-Ortiz, an illegal alien from El Salvador who stole into the U.S. in 2024 and was subsequently released by the Biden administration, is accused of molesting at least nine girls at Fairfax High School in Virginia where he was enrolled in the 11th grade, even though he is at least 18 years old.
Adding insult to injury, the school allegedly downplayed the scandal.
‘They have attempted to sweep it under the rug.’
The alleged offenses took place as recently as Feb. 25. Flores-Ortiz was arrested on March 7 and has been charged with nine counts of assault and battery.
“There’s a group of about 12 individuals that have reported this assault,” a mother of one of the victims told WJLA-TV. “It was all perpetrated by a single individual who is a stranger to the girls. He just sneakily walked up behind them and put his hand in between their legs. It was not just a butt smack or a butt grab. It was a groping of a private area. It had been occurring for several months.”
Two of the victims’ mothers said that the school was doing a terrible job handling the situation.
“Abysmal, abysmal,” said one of the mothers. “I think from the very beginning, Fairfax County has attempted to diminish what happened to these girls.”
Them Before Us, a nonprofit organization seeking to protect children and defend their natural rights, has issued a report on how the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index encourages companies to mutilate children through transgender policies. No longer can companies claim ignorance.
HRC, a pro-LGBT advocacy organization, launched the Corporate Equality Index in 2002 to push ideological “LGBTQ+ inclusive policies” on businesses. Companies complete the index survey and submit documentation to prove their woke policies, including family healthcare coverage for transgender surgeries, restroom and dress code “inclusion,” and LGBT trainings for staff.
“HRC’s Corporate Equality Index is anti-child. No company should support it,” the report states.
CNN hasn’t exactly had a banner month. It started with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt spanking CNN’s Kaitlin Collins about the dignified transfer of our brave service members who died in Operation Epic Fury, and only went downhill from there.
Just a few days later, the network repeatedly shared the false news that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was the target of homemade IEDs that were thrown into a crowd of anti-Islam protesters near Gracie Mansion. They started by portraying the alleged bombers, Ibrahim Kayumi and Emir Balat, as “two Pennsylvania teenagers” who “crossed into New York City … for what could’ve been a normal day enjoying the city during abnormally warm weather.” The post went on to say the pair’s lives “would drastically change” after they were “arrested for throwing homemade bombs during an anti-Muslim protest.” CNN later deleted that post, claiming it “failed to reflect the gravity of the incident, thereby breaching the editorial standards” of the network. That post implied Mamdani was the target of the attacks, too.
Democrats’ refusal to fund the Department of Homeland Security has exceeded any hypothesis of good faith. It is an unpatriotic attack on America’s frontline of defense during a time of war and potential Iranian sleeper cells, and an inexcusable burden on the department’s employees.
Last week, all Senate Democrats, except John Fetterman, again voted to block funding for DHS.
Financed in part by malign foreign powers who seek to defeat the United States, radical left activists have co-opted the Democratic Party. Rep. Brad Schneider of Illinois, head of the supposedly centrist New Democrat Coalition, typifies the illogic. “My concern about DHS is their absolute disregard of the Constitution and American citizens’ civil rights,” he said, adding, “So until we see officers who abuse citizens’ civil rights held to full account, until we restore full congressional oversight, I’m not giving another penny to ICE and CBP.”
On Wednesday night, the Washington Post reported that “U.S. officials detected unidentified drones above the Washington Army base where Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth live” and that those officials have not yet determined where they came from.
Election experts from around the country are sounding alarms that the SAVE Act (full name: SAVE Trump’s Ass From The Epstein Files Act) would cause mayhem and set up the elections and the country for failure. In large part, this is because many of the act’s requirements are unfunded.
The so-called SAVE America Act, which President Donald Trump is relentlessly pushing, would create chaos for state and local elections administrators by immediately imposing several new requirements without adding funding, former North Carolina elections chief Karen Brinson Bell said on a press call Tuesday organized by Washington U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell.
“I cannot emphasize enough the Herculean effort that the SAVE America Act would present for election officials across this country,” Brinson Bell, who now advises election officials as a co-founder of the group Advance Elections, said. “Please do not set our country or these public servants up for failure. Bring us to the table. Develop this legislation properly and provide adequate funding and resources so we can all succeed.”
CBS Evening News isn’t doing so well under the new management at Paramount or the commissar they installed to make sure nothing woke gets broadcast. Nielsen reports that ratings are down.
Viewership for the program has once again dropped below 4 million, a critical demarcation point that previously spurred alarm at the Paramount Skydance news division.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr warned that US broadcast networks could face consequences, including the loss of their licenses, if they continue airing what he described as “hoaxes and news distortions” related to coverage of the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
Carr made the comments in a post responding to a statement from President Donald Trump lambasting media reporting about alleged damage to US tanker aircraft in Saudi Arabia.
In his post, Carr said broadcasters that “are running hoaxes and news distortions – also known as the fake news – have a chance now to correct course before their license renewals come up.”
Cesar Chavez has been lauded by Mexican-Americans as an iconic labor leader who fought for farmworkers’ rights in the 1960s, but his legacy may be marred by growing allegations of “profoundly shocking” behavior.
Several celebrations of Cesar Chavez Day, which is observed March 31, have been canceled across the country by the United Farm Workers, an organization Chavez co-founded.
‘These allegations have been profoundly shocking. We need some time to get this right, including to ensure robust, trauma-informed services are available to those who may need it.’
The union said in a letter Tuesday that the claims against Chavez were “incompatible” with the organization’s values.

MS NOW host Ana Cabrera expressed indignation on March 16 after FCC chairman Brendan Carr tweeted that broadcast stations should watch what they’re airing on the war in Iran: “Freedom of the press has been such a huge, huge underpinning of the democracy in this country, right? In order to hold people in power accountable to be that government watchdog.” But Carr is “squashing” press freedom with a simple tweet.
NPR media reporter David Folkenflik lamented Carr wanted to “get in the weeds of what’s said,” but allowed that “you can argue there are good principles involved about wanting to make sure certain kinds of coverage is fair to all sides” – yet the government shouldn’t interfere.

One of the most poorly kept political secrets in modern times is that Democrats just love themselves some unfettered illegal immigration.
Sure, they’ll never outright admit to it — that would be tantamount to political suicide — but actions speak louder than words, and when it comes to illegal immigration, Democrats have practically been screaming at the top of their lungs of late.
The million (billion? trillion?) dollar question, then, is why?
Look, anyone with a room-temperature IQ can tell you that Democrats are trying to “import voters.”
The common criticism is that Dems, alongside all of their unpopular ideas, can’t win over the average American on policy. Instead of changing those unpopular policies, however, Democrats seem far more intent on simply bringing in more agreeable voters.
But it’s not quite so surface-level, as Border Czar Tom Homan so eloquently — and worryingly — pointed out during a Fox News appearance on Tuesday.

Israel’s defense minister said Wednesday that the country would escalate its war against Iran, and its parallel assault on the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah in Lebanon, clearly signaling an escalation of the conflict in the heart of the Middle East.

Joe Kent, who led the National Counterterrorism Center, resigned Tuesday, saying he “cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran.”
“Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby,” Kent wrote in his resignation letter to Mr. Trump.
Kent accused high-ranking Israeli officials and some in the media of waging a “misinformation campaign” that was “used to deceive you into believing that Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States, and that should you strike now, there was a clear path to a swift victory.”
“This was a lie,” he said, urging Mr. Trump to “reflect upon what we are doing in Iran, and who we are doing it for.”
In a post on X, Gabbard appeared to respond to Kent’s letter, saying the president “is responsible for determining what is and is not an imminent threat.”
NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani is one of the most singularly focused Democrat politicians I’ve seen in a long time. He often will turn anything, any unrelated news event, any public appearance, into a discussion about the so-called “Palestinian cause,” and how Israel and, via extension, America, is allegedly committing “genocide” against the Hamas (and Hezbollah) terrorists who literally want to wipe the Jewish people and their western allies off the map.

Wally is an illegal from El Salvador who came here illegally in 2016 after his home country put out an arrest warrant. For child rape. Travis William Juhr, 41, was indicted last week by a federal grand jury in Portland on charges of transmitting interstate threats to injure. Prosecutors say the threats targeted conservative Clark County Commissioner April Becker of Nevada, as well as a 13-year-old conservative boy who attended a pro-Immigration and Customs Enforcement counterprotest in Portland.
Juhr was a regular attendee at leftist demonstrations and riots outside the Portland ICE facility. He was often seen wearing a bomber-style jacket and was recorded on livestreams making threats to Trump supporters.
Last week, a terrorist tried to kill Jewish children at the Temple Israel Synagogue in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan. Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, 41, drove his truck — which was laden with fireworks and accelerants — into the synagogue. He exchanged fire with two security guards and died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The media ran interference for Ghazali, saying his family was killed in Israeli strikes in Lebanon as part of Operation Roaring Lion. The New York Times called him a “quiet restaurant worker,” and the Mayor of Dearborn Heights, where Ghazali was from, said the Lebanon strikes were the motivation behind the Temple Israel attack, attempting to justify it because Ghazali “lost family members.” Except that wasn’t accurate. It turns out Ghazali’s brother, Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali, was a Hezbollah terrorist.
But now it’s revealed that Ayman Ghazali also had deeper ties to Hezbollah than initially reported, including Ghazali’s ties with other members of Hezbollah, an overseas trip, and odd behavior in the weeks before the terrorist attack.

Multiculturalism is on the march in California: A Democratic state lawmaker has introduced a bill to recognize two Muslim holidays as official state holidays.
Fox 11 reports that California State Assembly member Matt Haney (D–San Francisco) has introduced AB 2017, which would designate Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha as state holidays and would, in Haney’s words, ensure that Muslims are “seen, valued and treated with the same dignity as every other community in our state.”
According to the New York Post, Eid al-Adha is among the most important holidays in Islam alongside Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan—the month in which faithful Muslims fast from dawn until sunset.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is defending the man who worked security for her but was killed during a law enforcement standoff in Dallas on Wednesday and accused of pretending to be a policeman.
Thirty-nine-year-old Diamon Mazairre-Robinson had barricaded himself inside a parking garage at Children’s Medical Center Dallas after police tracked him down as they were investigating an active warrant, Fox News reported Monday.
Police video showed the moments SWAT officers told Robinson to get out of the car and obey their commands so that he would not get hurt. The officers deployed tear gas to force him out of the vehicle and as he got out of the car and stood up, an officer told him multiple times not to reach.
However, the suspect appeared to reach toward his waist and point a gun at the officers who opened fire:
In addition to going by the name Mike King and running a business called Off Duty Police Services, Robinson was accused of impersonating a policeman, wearing fake uniforms that made him appear to be a federal agent, and running the fraudulent business to hire legitimate police officers for off-duty gigs.
ABC News’ Wednesday report on an alleged Iranian drone threat to California did not initially include that the information was “unverified.”
“We recently acquired information that as of early February 2026, Iran allegedly aspired to conduct a surprise attack using unmanned aerial vehicles from an unidentified vessel off the coast of the United State Homeland, specifically against unspecified targets in California, in the event that the US conducted strikes against Iran,” ABC News reported the late February alert stated.
However, the outlet noted in an updated version of the article on Thursday — which included an editor’s note — that the full alert reportedly included the word “unverified” between “acquired” and “information.”

Axios: FCC Chair Brendan Carr threatened to revoke broadcasters’ licenses over Iran war coverage, a day after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth singled out CNN and rooted for a friendlier owner (Axios).
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) doubled down on its security detail for Director Russell Vought in response to Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, D-Ill., objected to USAID funding being used to protect him, despite an assassination attempt on Vought earlier this year.
A letter from Mark Paoletta, OMB general counsel, to Krishnamoorthi obtained by The Federalist makes clear the threat level to Vought — exacerbated entirely by Democrats — and how Vought’s duties as senior advisor to USAID, as well as its former acting administrator, create a persistent security threat that requires 24/7 security.
“Your letter is the definition of chutzpah,” Paoletta told Krishnamoorthi. “The Left drives a systematic campaign to demonize Trump Administration officials like Director Vought that incites radical leftwing lunatics to violence. Then, the Left criticizes the Administration for taking the measures necessary to protect its officials from the violence that the Left encourages.”
