Constitutional scholar Alan Dershowitz predicted on Monday that Gov. Gavin Newsom’s lawsuit against President Donald Trump over the Los Angeles riots will go down in flames, just like his city.

Speaking on his program “The Dershow,” Dershowitz expressed doubt that the U.S. Supreme Court would “second guess” Trump’s decision to federalize thousands of California National Guardsmen and deploy them to the epicenters of riots taking place across L.A. Gavin quickly sued Trump, accusing the president of “unlawfully” ordering soldiers under his control to put down the unrest.

“The Supreme Court will not second-guess the President of the United States on this issue,” Dershowitz said. “They will say, whether right or wrong, the president had the authority to make this decision and he had the authority to make it over the lack of consent of the governor,” Dershowitz explained.

“Let’s be clear, there was violence. You can see it on television; there were bombings, fire bombings, and burnings of Teslas and other self-driving cars. There were rocks being thrown at ICE officers. There were threats against ICE officers, threats against their families. Was it a full-blown insurrection? No.”

The Arizona State Legislature sent a bill to Gov. Katie Hobbs’ desk Wednesday that would allow students and parents to sue public school educators for promoting antisemitism.

Public school teachers and staff “may not teach, instruct, or train students in any antisemitism or antisemitic conduct, act, or process that constitutes harassment or discrimination and that creates a hostile educational environment,” the Antisemitism in Education Act states.

The bill mandates the State Board of Education to reprimand a teacher after one offense, suspend the teacher after two, and revoke his or her teaching certificate after three violations.

Further, “A student who is at least eighteen years of age, or the parents of a minor student, may bring an action in a court of competent jurisdiction to enjoin any violation of this section that creates a hostile educational environment for the student,” the bill states.

The legislation also offers examples of kinds of speech it would prohibit, including labeling Israel’s existence as “racist” or likening Israeli policies to those of the Nazis, AZ Central reported.

President Donald Trump called in the National Guard to help after the violence against federal agents, the police, and the property damage erupted.

Meanwhile, Democrats were denying the violence and claiming things were in hand when they weren’t. Instead of truly standing focused against the riots, they were spending their time attacking Trump and inciting people.

But now, Mayor Karen Bass has truly given away the game in her latest remarks during a press conference she gave Monday night. She called on the federal government to stop the ICE raids. She claimed that on Thursday, it was peaceful until the intervention of the federal government [the ICE raids].

A Canadian doctor critical of virus lockdowns revealed a former top Liberal cabinet Minister implied to him he was censured by his medical regulator because he had the boldness to criticize the COVID mandates imposed under the federal government of former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Newly elected Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) MP Dr. Matt Strauss revealed the reasons he was targeted by his medical regulator in his first speech in Parliament on June 3.

“At Queen’s University where I taught, Jane Philpott herself, one of the only two cabinet ministers to speak truth to Justin Trudeau’s power, informed me in her dean’s office that ‘the reason the administration had to harass me was that I criticized the government,’” he said to all MPs in the House of Commons.

Strauss affirmed that Philpott’s words were a “direct quote” to him, adding, “Of course, Prime Minister Trudeau and his commissars were immune from all of this.”

“They gave luxurious contracts to their friends in academia to promote their misinformation and gave hundreds of millions of dollars to mainstream media to promote government narratives,” he noted, adding, “These three institutions – government, media and academia – have important roles in society to regulate each other.”

From bad to worse: The Harvard Law Review is facing multiple federal probes over reports, published in the Free Beacon, of racial discrimination at the journal. Its conduct in the face of those probes has only added to the furor.

The Review, our Aaron Sibarium reports, “retaliated against a student editor for allegedly leaking documents … and demanded, as part of the journal’s disciplinary process, that he request their destruction.” Those actions came as the journal “was under a document retention order” from the feds. As a result, they “verged on witness intimidation and could get the law review in even deeper trouble with the government,” attorneys told Sibarium.

“What do they call it when a criminal tries to intimidate the witness?” said Jason Torchinsky, a former official in the Justice Department’s civil rights division. “If you know someone is a witness in a federal investigation, and you try to intimidate them into stopping cooperation with the government, that in itself is its own offense.”

Band-aid over a bullet hole: Racial discrimination isn’t the only problem plaguing Harvard. There’s also the issue of pervasive anti-Semitism and anti-Israel bias on its campus—something the school pledged to combat in part by hiring a Professor in Residence in Modern Jewish Studies at its Divinity School. That professor, Harvard announced on Wednesday, is self-proclaimed “counter-Zionist” Shaul Magid.

For Magid, Zionism is “unjust” and can be “set aside” along with “Manifest Destiny, colonialism, and any number of other chauvinistic and ethnocentric ideologies of the past.”

Magid’s appointment did not land well with Rabbi David Wolpe, who spent a year as a visiting scholar at Harvard’s Divinity School. Magid’s views are “very fringe” and don’t “represent anything like the mainstream view of the American Jewish community,” Wolpe told us. “He is not an answer to the problem that Harvard has with their Jewish students or with the exclusion of mainstream views.”

President Trump told CNN Friday morning that he “is not thinking about” billionaire Elon Musk after their shocking public spat yesterday, and does not plan to speak to him anytime soon.

Trump reportedly told CNN political correspondent Dana Bash, “I’m not even thinking about Elon. He’s got a problem. The poor guy’s got a problem.”

According to Bash, Trump said he had no immediate plans to talk with Musk, but that he “wishes him well.”

Fox News also reported Friday morning that Trump “does not intend” to speak with Musk today.

The freezeout comes after a very public clash between the two titans the day before caused their extraordinary alliance to flameout in spectacular fashion.

Haxhiaj has been charged with one count of assault and battery on a police officer and one count of interfering with police. Police had sought two counts of assault and battery on an officer. She is set to be arraigned on July 23. ; ;

Haxhiaj wrote in a statement regarding the charges, “Our community continues to be shocked and devastated by the events on Eureka Street as our country staggers from political upheaval. It is frustrating to now be targeted by this criminal prosecution as well. I am a mother, an immigrant and elected leader who attempted, along with other Worcester residents, to protect a traumatized young person, two mothers and an infant. When it comes to sharing his opinions on pretty much any topic, Steve Bannon has never been shy, and today, in defense of his good friend, Donald J. Trump, Bannon eviscerated the world’s wealthiest man, calling him ‘incompetent,” and suggesting Musk had no business receiving the kind of trust or praise Trump bestowed upon him.

Today, while speaking with two of his co-hosts, former US Congressman Dave Brat and social media personality Jack Posbiec, Steve Bannon appeared to have had enough of the very public feud between Elon Musk and President Trump and mercilessly unloaded on Musk.

“Elon Musk is working for himself,” Bannon told his co-hosts. The outspoken War Room icon explained, “President Trump empowered him more than anyone’s ever been empowered in this government! He [President Trump] had his back. Promoted this guy. And when people like me, who said, ‘You’re making a mistake! This is a bad guy! He’s gonna turn on you! He’s not with us. He’s also totally incompetent!’ And when President Trump said, ‘Hey, give this guy a shot!’ and I trust President Trump‘s judgment,” Bannon said and explained how he backed off “a little.” Bannon explained to his audience that as soon as Elon didn’t think he was running things or didn’t “get the adoration,” he “turned” on President Trump. But according to Bannon, Musk didn’t just turn on President Trump, “He [Musk] turned on the country—on the American people—and President Trump has had enough of it!”

Bannon, arguably one of the most important figures in the conservative culture, wasn’t finished sharing his disdain for Musk’s childish behavior because Trump’s “One Big Beautiful” bill wasn’t written the way Musk thought it should be written. He began to attack Trump on social media. Bannon suggested that Musk could have spoken with some of the top Republicans, with whom he has relationships, but instead, he began “tweeting the most vicious stuff you could tweet!” In Elon Musk’s attempt to score points in his social media war with President Trump, he tried to group him in “with those pedophiles on the [Epstein’s] island!” And then, Bannon really unloaded, saying, “He called for the president to be impeached and JD Vance to take his role!” Bannon continued, “As hard as we’ve worked in all the years! Some punk is gonna sit there and go, he should be impeached!?”

Prior to the 2024 presidential election, Paul was a huge supporter of Trump and consistently called out the Democrats over several issues, including the nation’s problems with illegal aliens and crime waves.

On Thursday night, Musk signaled there may be a window for a peace treaty between the two.

Musk signaled possible peace between the two after the CEO of Pershing Square, Bill Ackman, posted on X, “should make peace for the benefit of our great country. We are much stronger together than apart.”

Musk then replied that he agreed.

Take a look:

Another user on X wrote to Elon, “You are both better than this. Cool off and take a step back for a couple of days.”

Musk responded, “Good advice.”

Harvard Divinity School (HDS) appointed Shaul Magid, a leftist Jewish philosopher who describes himself as a “counter-Zionist,” to a new position the university says it created as a way to combat “anti-Israeli bias.”

Magid, who has described the Jewish state as “illiberal” and “chauvinist,” will be the university’s inaugural Professor of Modern Jewish Studies in Residence. Harvard says the new position is part of its effort to stem the tide of anti-Semitism and anti-Israel ideology in its classrooms after its anti-Semitism task force found that “politicized instruction” in four of its schools “mainstreamed and normalized what many Jewish and Israeli students experience as antisemitism.”

The report’s authors said Jewish students were unable to “engage fully in academic and co-curricular life at Harvard” due to attacks from anti-Israel peers. They also warned about the “ease with which ‘anti-Zionism’ slips into what is effectively antisemitism,” citing an anti-Semitic cartoon students and faculty shared on social media.

The “politicized instruction” at the Divinity School, the report noted, includes subjecting Jewish students to “the embrace of a pedagogy of ‘de-zionization’” in which professors “attribute to Jews two great sins: first, in the Levant, the establishment of the State of Israel and the Palestinian Nakba; and second, in the United States, participation in White supremacy.”

Illinois Right to Life is celebrating the close of the 2025 legislative session with a significant victory: the defeat of a dangerous Physician-Assisted Suicide (PAS) bill that would have legalized physician assisted suicide in our state.

The Illinois Legislature attempted multiple strategies to push this bill through, including a legislative sleight of hand: after identical PAS bills stalled in both the House and Senate, proponents amended a food sanitation bill, stripping its original content and replacing it with PAS language. The maneuver allowed the bill to reach the House floor, where it passed. However, the Senate did not vote to concur with the amended language—effectively killing the bill for now.

“This is a critical win for Illinois’ most vulnerable citizens,” said Mary Kate Zander, President of Illinois Right to Life. “Our lawmakers heard from thousands of Illinoisans who refused to allow death to become a state-sanctioned ‘treatment.’ We are grateful to our coalition partners, and most of all, to the countless constituents who made their voices heard. We give glory to God.”

The U.S. Department of Education has notified the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (the “Commission”) that Columbia University is not in compliance with the Commission’s accreditation requirements.

From the DoEd Press Release:

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) today notified Middle States Commission on Higher Education (the Commission) that its member institution, Columbia University, is in violation of federal antidiscrimination laws and therefore fails to meet the standards for accreditation set by the Commission. Pursuant to President Trump’s Executive Order, Reforming Accreditation to Strengthen Higher Education, the Department has an obligation to promptly provide accreditors with any noncompliance findings related to member institutions.

The Commission’s “Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation” state that “a candidate or accredited institution possesses or demonstrates … compliance with all applicable government laws and regulations.” In light of OCR’s determination, Columbia University no longer appears to meet the Commission’s accreditation standards.

“After Hamas’ October 7, 2023, terror attack on Israel, Columbia University’s leadership acted with deliberate indifference towards the harassment of Jewish students on its campus. This is not only immoral, but also unlawful. Accreditors have an enormous public responsibility as gatekeepers of federal student aid. They determine which institutions are eligible for federal student loans and Pell Grants. Just as the Department of Education has an obligation to uphold federal antidiscrimination law, university accreditors have an obligation to ensure member institutions abide by their standards,” said U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. “We look forward to the Commission keeping the Department fully informed of actions taken to ensure Columbia’s compliance with accreditation standards including compliance with federal civil rights laws.” ….

Trump’s approval is currently higher than ratings for Obama or Bush in their second terms. Talk about a major media fail.

The media has had Trump on blast for months, criticizing his words and every move. For them, everything is gloom and doom, and yet, the American people don’t see things that way.

Remember how the media treated Obama? For them, Obama walked on water, he could do no wrong. But despite their constant trash talk, Trump is more popular than Obama was at this point in his second term. What does that tell you?

RedState reports:

Democrats Are Going to Be Livid When They See Trump’s Latest Approval Numbers

Democrats are going to be downright livid when they learn that President Donald Trump’s approval numbers are higher than both former President Barack Obama’s and former President George W. Bush’s in their second terms at this same time, according to a new poll.

On Wednesday, RealClearPolitics’ Tom Bevan posted on X that “As of two days ago, Trump’s approval rating in the RCP Avg (47.5%) is higher than Obama’s and Bush’s at this point in their second terms.”

The outlet noted that at this same time in Obama’s presidency, his job approval sat at 47.1, and Bush’s was at 45.9. Bevan’s post included a chart that showed a visual of how Trump was ahead of both past presidents.

Nebraska governor signs law banning men from women’s sports

Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen on Wednesday signed into law the Stand With Women Act, which forbids biological males from competing in women’s sports in K-12 schools as well as at colleges and universities.

“Because of the physical differences between males and females, having separate athletic teams based on the sex of the athlete reduces the chance of injury to female athletes, promotes equality between the sexes, provides opportunities for female athletes to compete against their female peers rather than against male athletes, and allows female athletes to compete on a fair playing field for scholarships and other athletic accomplishments,” the law states.

At a signing ceremony, Pillen praised the development, saying the act “is really a big deal, for our young people, for our kids, standing up for women, and it’s a big deal standing up for the values of Nebraska.”

Prior to its passage, the bill was hotly contested, and attempts to ban biological men from women’s bathrooms and locker rooms did not make the final cut.

“We were only able to get the athletic portion on, but I will be back next year bringing you the bathrooms and the locker rooms…the work is not done,” said state Sen. Kathleen Kauth during the signing ceremony.

President Donald Trump has ordered an investigation into the alleged use of an autopen to sign pardons under the Biden administration without the former president’s knowledge.

“In recent months, it has become increasingly apparent that former President Biden’s aides abused the power of Presidential signatures through the use of an autopen to conceal Biden’s cognitive decline and assert Article II authority,” the presidential memorandum says. “This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history.”

Though Biden appeared to suffer from cognitive decline, the White House issued more than 1,200 presidential documents, appointed 235 federal judges to the Federal bench, and issued many pardons and commutations.

Shortly before Christmas 2024, Biden commuted the sentences of 37 death row criminals.

Trump ordered an investigation into activity designed to hide Biden’s health from the public, agreements between Biden aides to elevate the former president’s abilities, and the circumstances around Biden’s executive actions during his final years in office, particularly policy documents signed with autopen.

The Senate on Thursday confirmed anti-aging research investor Jim O’Neill for the second-highest position at the Department of Health and Human Services, a step toward an era of deregulation in biomedical research from the highest levels of the department.

O’Neill, President Donald Trump’s nominee to serve one step below HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as deputy secretary, was confirmed on partisan lines in a vote of 52 to 43.

O’Neill’s long record of funding anti-aging research and advocacy for deregulation in bringing new health innovations to market could become a new pillar of the Make America Healthy Again agenda, reshaping federal public health programs.

During the first Trump administration, O’Neill was floated as a nominee to lead the Food and Drug Administration because of his work on FDA reform during his six-year tenure in the George W. Bush HHS. He was ultimately passed over for the role in favor of Dr. Scott Gottlieb.

In this article I will be proposing an early framework for a mental health intervention called depsychiatrization. Depsychiatrization describes the processes by which a diagnosed individual learns to expel psychiatrically induced self-concepts and substitute them for more empowering and nurturing understandings. These processes are not, in themselves, entirely novel, as they have been a part of many alternative movements throughout time. It is the ambition behind this proposal to formalize a way of helping and supporting people who would benefit from depsychiatrization, as well as supplying a legitimizing platform to stand on for those who wish to encourage growth without pathology.

Much has been written on the many ways in which psychiatry does harm to individuals seeking help for mental health issues: The medical treatments are far too often more harmful than beneficial, especially in the long run. The symptom-focused therapeutic treatments rarely produce sustainable outcomes leading to better lives. For instance, electroshock therapy is a disputed method at best, a harmful, medieval practice at worst.

President Donald Trump returned to Washington in January with a mandate from the American people to end mass migration. That same month, however, the foreign-born population living within America’s borders hit a record high, in an echo of the Roman Empire. Is it too late to save America from mass migration? Even if America is saved, will it be fundamentally changed in the process?

As a California farmer, Victor Davis Hanson faces the reality of this demographic change every day. As a historian and classicist, he knows all too well what happens to regimes and empires that fail to confront mass migration. This week, he joins “The Signal Sitdown” to discuss.

“Everybody,” Hanson told The Daily Signal, “is bewildered why [former President] Joe Biden, or whoever was controlling him, did this.”

Hanson described the pressure to keep migrants streaming into the country as “a consortium of interests” that include corporations (which desire cheap labor), other nations (which benefit from remittances), the cartels, and liberal ideologues.

On Wednesday, the Trump administration announced it was processing the family of Mohamed Soliman — the radical Islamist who allegedly set Jewish demonstrators ablaze in Boulder on Sunday — for removal from the country. Then came the order from a rogue judge blocking the administration.

Judge Gordon Gallagher’s two-page order halting the removal of Soliman’s wife and five children — all illegal aliens, according to Stephen Miller — isn’t merely a misapplication of justice. It is a direct assault on the executive branch’s constitutional authority. And if President Donald Trump continues to treat these rogue judicial decrees as legitimate, he not only cedes national security to ideological partisans in black robes — he permits a full-blown constitutional crisis to fester unchecked.

A groundbreaking new study has confirmed that toxic ingredients in “vaccines” cause inflammation and brainstem dysfunction, which trigger Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in sleeping babies.

The study, recently published in the International Journal of Medical Sciences, is raising major concerns about the safety of early-life vaccinations for a small but potentially vulnerable group of infants.

According to the researchers, underdeveloped liver enzyme systems may hinder some babies from effectively processing “vaccine” ingredients, leading to sudden death.

The peer-reviewed study focused on cytochrome P450 (CYP450) enzymes — a family of enzymes primarily located in the liver, essential for drug metabolism.

The authors reviewed genetic and pharmacological literature to assess how variability in these enzymes may affect how infants metabolize vaccine excipients — substances typically considered “inactive” ingredients, such as preservatives or stabilizers.

“It is generally believed that excipients… are present in such trace amounts that they don’t affect how the body metabolizes a vaccine,” the study notes.

A young mother in India has died after her husband allegedly forced her to take abortion pills, reportedly due to a superstitious belief about pregnancy interfering with housewarming rituals.

“Pravallika,” 23, was six months pregnant when she suffered heavy bleeding and died following an allegedly coerced abortion in Adilabad district, Telangana, on Saturday. Her husband, S. Prashant, is accused by her family of administering the pills against her will and then fleeing the scene.

According to a police complaint filed by her brother, Pravallika had taken the pills under pressure from Prashant, who claimed pregnancy would interfere with religious ceremonies for their new home.

Pravallika’s relatives say he held the belief that a woman should not be pregnant while engaging in the housewarming rites, known as Griha Pravesh. Online sources, like the Mumbai-based Housing.com, repeat this prohibition, although not as an absolute rule.

Pravallika was initially treated at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Adilabad but was transferred to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad when her condition worsened. She died Saturday evening.
