Preliminary hearings for the trial of Tyler Robinson, the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk, started Monday as Utah state prosecutors presented exhibits and sought their admission into the actual trial.

Utah prosecutors brought expert witnesses to the stand to testify about their involvement with the police work surrounding the assassination at Utah Valley University (UVU) on Sept. 10, 2025. They also presented multiple exhibits, including affidavits, video footage, and images. Nearly every exhibit was admitted into the trial over the objections of Robinson’s attorneys, but in one case the judge said alterations made to a compilation of videos made it inadmissible.

In what appears to be a move to save an illegal alien from deportation, Tim Walz has pardoned an illegal alien convicted of raping a child. He was joined on a three-member pane by Democrats Keith Ellison and Natalie Hudson. Ellison is Minnesota’s Attorney General. Hudson is the state’s Chief Justice.

In August 2021, Florida woman Precious Bland drowned her 15-month-old and stabbed her husband who tried to stop her along with her teen daughter. After she was arrested and put on trial nearly five years later, she pled insanity, claiming that she had a “psychotic break” due to the stresses of Covid. At the time of the drowning she allegedly screamed, “Jesus Christ is coming, and Covid is going to kill us all!” The judge of this case, Miguel de la O, apparently found this argument persuasive and acquitted Bland.

Typically, the story would end there. Time and again, a psychotic murderer commits a heinous crime, stands before a liberal judge and claims insanity, receives mental health treatment, and is then released back into the public so that they can have more “psychotic breaks” that harm innocent people.

This is the best country in the world. The left knows that, which is why they refuse to leave, while attempting to lecture the masses on why this land is so evil. The problem with this is that not only is it illogical, but it will never put them on the “right side of history.” And to slander this great country and its flag on the 250th anniversary of its founding was not taken lightly by the patriots of this nation. This is why one man did what he felt needed to be done when he saw a deranged person lighting this nation’s flag on fire.

A lunatic in Durham, North Carolina, thought she or he or they was making a statement when she or he or they decided to light a flag on fire on the Fourth of July. No one was convinced of whatever it was they were trying to convey other than the other leftists on scene. The only sensible person around did what a lot of sane people would do when seeing a crazy person light a fire for no reason — stop it. This should not be controversial, but the pathetic left cannot stand it when people stand up for what is right.

Americans all over the country celebrated the 250th anniversary with fireworks, barbecue, and friends and family. Still others celebrated by joining one of the most patriotic-looking events — which was joined by United States Marines.

On Sunday, the day after Independence Day, dozens of Marines joined hundreds of enthusiastic runners for a remarkably patriotic run in the heart of New York City.

‘It does not matter who gets in our way. We will tell them we love them, and we’ll keep it pushing anyways.’

The First Amendment has been under a decade-long attack from the left with mainstream oppressors bulldozing anyone who opposed COVID’s origin story, engaged in scientific debates over climate change and gender norms, or argued about the emerging reality of voter fraud.

Now, a new bipartisan bill led by Republican Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Democrat Sen. Ron Wyden (Ore.) aims to tamp down the onslaught of online censorship pervading modern society with real repercussions for any government agency or representative that violates that sacred right.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has told staff that the company’s effort to replace human workers with AI agents is moving slower than expected, even after the tech giant cut thousands of jobs and reorganized aggressively around artificial intelligence.

The admission came during an internal town hall after months of restructuring at Meta.

Earlier this year, the company cut roughly 10% of its workforce and reassigned about 7,000 employees into new AI-focused roles.

Those moves were framed internally as urgent, as Meta raced to compete with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and other major players in the artificial intelligence arms race.

Scientists say they have created a fully synthetic cell that can feed, grow, replicate its genome, and divide, marking a major step toward building life-like systems from non-living chemical components.

The team from the University of Minnesota says its synthetic cell, called “SpudCell,” is the “first synthetic cell with a complete cell cycle.”

Researchers say it can “grow, replicate its genome, divide, and undergo selection and competition across multiple generations.”

The breakthrough could open the door to a new era of biotechnology in which synthetic organisms are built from scratch and programmed to carry out specific tasks.

The U.S. Department of Justice is taking Virginia to court over its so-called “assault firearms” ban, filing a lawsuit just hours after it had been slated to take effect on July 1.

Gov. Abigail Spanberger, D-Va., signed a law that creates a Class 1 misdemeanor for importing, selling, manufacturing, purchasing, or transferring the firearms, which include standard, semi-automatic rifles like the AR-15-style rifle, the country’s most popular firearm.

Attorney General Todd Blanche’s office filed a lawsuit Wednesday morning saying the law violates the Second Amendment.

“The Constitution is not a suggestion, and the Second Amendment is not a second-class right,” Blanche said in a press release. “This Justice Department has done more to protect the Second Amendment than any administration in our nation’s history, and we will continue to do so whenever necessary.”

Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat from Texas, said on Friday that the United States owes “everything” to black women.

Crockett said during Essence’s Festival of Culture that every American should celebrate Independence Day by thanking black women for their contributions, including inventions and for birthing American democracy.

“When it comes to answering the question of what America owes black women, the answer is everything,” Crockett said.

“When we think about the sacrifices that black women have made from the moment that we were stolen from our homelands and transported into this country, to the fact that black women continue to stand as the backbones, specifically of the Democratic Party, we know that black women are always the ones that are doing the labor, but we are also the ones that are always the first targets of any harm.”

“So, this Fourth of July, I say celebrate a black woman that you know, because whether it’s an invention that she made, or whether it’s the very democracy that still hangs by a thread right now. There is a black woman to thank for her contributions,” Crockett added.

“There is no more powerful way to recognize the historic achievements of our great country and President Donald J. Trump than U.S dollar bills bearing his signature, and it is only appropriate that this historic currency be issued at the Semiquincentennial,” he continued.

Hungary’s political civil war is beginning to boil over as the head of government prepares to remove the president with a bespoke amendment of the constitution that would strip him of office.

Prime Minister Peter Magyar submitted a proposal for a constitutional amendment over the weekend that would remove President Tamas Sulyok as head of state. The 17th amendment to the Fundamental Law, if passed by the Hungarian Parliament, would end Sulyok’s leadership the day after going into effect and give lawmakers 30 days to select a replacement.

“The proposal for the seventeenth amendment to the Constitution, which would bring the current president’s term to an end, is fundamentally incompatible with the rule of law,” Sulyok protested in a Sunday reaction to the prime minister.

In Alexandria, Virginia, the local government suggests reporting neighbors who are using fireworks, said an X post.

“Fireworks are illegal in Alexandria, including sparklers. Report illegal fireworks by calling 311. Our show is next weekend,” the post read.

“Any fireworks found inside the City can be taken away. If you are caught with fireworks, you could face a Class 1 misdemeanor charge. That means up to one year in jail, a $2,500 fine or both,” the Alexandria Fire Department reminded the community in a press release.

Images of Pope Leo XIV welcoming African migrants to Europe has sparked outrage, as some accuse the Pontiff of encouraging the weakening of western nations while maintaining Vatican City as an impenetrable fortress that threatens illegal migrants with huge fines and lengthy prison sentences.

In a widely viewed video posted by EWTN, the Pope can be seen greeting a large group of migrants who had just made their way by boat to the Sicilian Island of Lampedusa. He also prayed at a cemetery there for migrants who died making the perilous journey.

The viral video has been seen over 1.1 million times while triggering nearly 2,000 mostly negative comments because of the Vatican’s longstanding hypocrisy on migration and open borders.

A new policy paper argues that a future NASA base on the moon should include a specialized biocontainment facility designed to keep Earth safe from any potentially hazardous biological material brought back from space.

The proposal comes as scientists and space agencies prepare for more ambitious missions that could return samples from the moon, Mars, and other destinations across the solar system.

“Humanity is entering a new era of space exploration, but our planetary protection strategies have not kept pace with the risks associated with returning extraterrestrial samples to Earth,” said paper co-author Frederick I. The recent wave of primary victories by Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) candidates has the media celebrating a web of grassroots populism and a supposed “working-class uprising.” But look past the revolutionary rhetoric, and you’ll find a much more sinister reality: Modern American socialism isn’t being driven by the proletariat; it is being bankrolled by a cabal of deep-pocketed, ultra-wealthy leftists.

Historically, socialism has never been about uplifting the poor; it is an insider game designed to consolidate state control while shielding the wealth of the ruling class and ransacking the middle class along the way. To pave the way for this scam, these trust-fund radicals must first destroy the independent American family.

To do that, they have weaponized a nasty little phrase in our modern, grievance-obsessed culture. Whenever a person achieves success, buys a home, or launches a business, the bitter arbiters of online misery waste no time throwing an insult disguised as an observation: “You’re just doing well because your parents had money to help you.”

British officers are increasingly seen as “preferencing certain groups,” according to a government-backed study

British police chiefs need to stop taking sides in “woke… culture wars” and focus entirely on the “prevention and detection of crime,” according to a government-backed report that recommends a “fundamental overhaul” of policing in the UK.

Co-authored by former Labour Party Home Secretary Lord Blunkett and published on Monday, the report found that Britain’s police departments are plagued by corrupt leadership, nepotism, abuse of power, and low morale among officers.

The report also highlighted concerns that police leaders are “preferencing certain groups,” with some “woke” chiefs “taking sides in the so-called ‘culture wars.’”

“Police leaders should be resolute in refusing to take sides, or to be diverted from the course of focusing entirely on the prevention, detection and prosecution of crime,” the report recommends, adding that “the background or identity of any perpetrator or victim of crime should have absolutely no bearing” on their treatment by the police service.

The drop-off has sparked concern among sociologists and public health officials, who warn of a growing epidemic of loneliness and social isolation
