A coalition of 2,700 Medical Professionals, including 1,063 doctors, are asking for a halt to the use of mRNA Covid-19 Vaccines. The group signed an official statement called “The Hope Accord.”
A whopping 2000 plus doctors, scientists, and academics have signed a declaration demanding governments around the world order an “immediate” ban on Covid mRNA shots.
The unprecedented statement, called “The Hope Accord,” has also been signed by over 2700 other healthcare professionals.
In total, the document has now gained over 33,000 signatories.
As Slay News previously reported, The Hope Accord was first launched last week and has quickly gathered a huge amount of support.
At the time of publishing, the statement has gained 33,265 total supporters, including 1028 medical doctors, 2,703 other healthcare professionals, and 1063 scientists and academics.
All of the signature endorsements have been verified to ensure they are from real and qualified professionals.
A report from the Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust claims the Biden administration was the main impetus behind the FDA’s decision to fast-track an experimental mRNA drug for Covid-19, despite knowing full well they would push for vaccine mandates.
One of the members of congress behind the report, Subcommittee Chairman Thomas Massie (R-KY) accused the FDA of cutting corners to enable the Biden administration to more hastily enact the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) used to justify the vaccine mandates. Massie said, “Exposing and acknowledging mistakes that were made is a necessary step toward restoring integrity and trust in our regulatory agencies.”
A new report from the House of Representatives claims that the Biden Administration repeatedly pressured the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) into speeding up the approval of the Chinese Coronavirus vaccine developed by Pfizer.
According to the Daily Caller, the staff report from the Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust alleges that the FDA did not follow the usual regulatory guidelines when it came to approving the Pfizer vaccine. As such, when the FDA gave its approval to the vaccine, it allowed the Biden Administration to more quickly issue a mandate forcing federal workers and active duty troops to take the Pfizer vaccine or else risk losing their jobs.
In a statement issued by the House Judiciary Committee, which oversees the subcommittee in question, the committee further explained that the Biden Administration intended to “fully approve the Pfizer vaccine through the Biologics Licensing Application (BLA) process.” Although this process normally takes “ten months to a year,” or “six to eight months” if it’s a priority, the approval of the Pfizer vaccine took less than four months after Pfizer first filed its application.
The captured U.S. government department, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) formed a group called the “Homeland Intelligence Experts Group” to allegedly hunt Trump supporters and charge them with anything to destroy their lives in the hope that it would silence dissent.
The allegation was made by America First Legal, who exposed the group, which was quickly then disbanded. They called the group “a completely partisan group designed to provide top cover the Department’s radical agenda.” The self-professed purpose of the group was to target people that might commit “domestic violent extremist” attacks. The people they put in that category were Trump supports, members of the military, and Christians.
A now disbanded group in Joe Biden’s Department Homeland Security (DHS) classified Trump supporters, members of the military, and people with religious views as persons likely to commit “domestic violent extremist” attacks, newly released internal files show.
DHS announced the formation of the “Homeland Intelligence Experts Group” in September 2023 to “provide advice and perspectives on intelligence and national security efforts” to the Department, but according to America First Legal, “it was a completely partisan group designed to provide top cover for the Department’s radical agenda
AFL and former Ambassador Richard Grenell filed a lawsuit against the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group soon after the group was announced, and spurred Republican members of Congress to take action against it.
AFL alleged that the group comprised of partisan actors violated the Federal Advisory Committee Act for various reasons — including its lack of balance, the Biden Administration’s inappropriate influence over it, and its lack of public notice and participation, among other things.
To avoid further litigation and scrutiny, the Biden regime agreed in May to disband the illegal group and provide its records to AFL. However, the group may have been active for a year before it was pressured to shut down.
“By the time the Homeland Intelligence Experts Group was announced in September 2023, the group had already been meeting for as long as four months,” AFL reported.
Members of the deep state cabal included former Obama intelligence officials and Russia collusion hoaxers John Brennan and James Clapper—both signatories of the infamous “Letter of 51,” which mislead the American public on the veracity of the Hunter Biden laptop story ahead of the 2020 election.
Also included in the unit were former Obama official Francis Taylor, Asha George, Rajesh De, Caryn Wagner, and Elisa Massimino, all of whom contributed exclusively to Democrat candidates for political office.
During a meeting in September on “Collection Posture and Associated Challenges,” the partisan group discussed ways to get around the Constitutional limits to their domestic intelligence gathering goals.
One idea they came up with was expanding DHS’s reach into local communities in an “ambiguous” and “non-threatening” way to encourage teachers and parents to report on their conservative neighbors and children. The group sought to reclassifying political dissent as a “public health” issue so that “mothers and teachers” could feel comfortable coming forward.
They also proposed that people be tagged with “in the military” and “religious” labels to profile them as having “indicators of extremists and terrorism” as a pretext to allow DHS to spy on them. The group said “we should be more worried about these” individuals [than left-wing extremist groups like antifa and the millions of unvetted illegal aliens DHS has allowed to cross the southern border].
The group went on to discuss how “most of the Domestic Terrorism threat now comes from supporters of the former president [Donald Trump].
This isn’t the first time the Biden regime has been caught engaging in abusive and partisan intelligence collection.
In April 2022, DHS announced the formation of an “Disinformation Governance Board” (DGB) to respond to matters the government unilaterally determined to be mis-, dis- or mal-information (MDM)—specifically information that countered official regime narratives on “the origins and effects of COVID-19 vaccines,” “the efficacy of masks,” the validity of the 2020 election,” and “falsehoods surrounding U.S. Government immigration policy.”
DHS disbanded the Disinformation Governance Board and its director, Nina Jankowicz, resigned in disgrace after an massive outcry from conservatives, who compared the board to an Orwellian “Ministry of Truth.”
Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla not only continues to walk free despite representing a criminal operation that allegedly intentionally poisoned America with their mRNA Covid-19 vaccine, he continues to work to create the second round of poisoning, promising shareholders the best days are behind him as Covid-19 was just a rehearsal.
The tone-deaf alleged mass murder tweeted out “I truly think that the best days of Pfizer are ahead of us, because Covid was form me was like a rehearsal.” To rewrite this, “There is another plandemic on the horizon and the DNC-controlled government will assure we can get captured customers we cannot only gain great monetary profit from, we can also kill.”
Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla has admitted that the Covid pandemic and mRNA shot rollout was just a “rehearsal” for something far larger.
Bourla made the admission while gloating about Pfizer’s future as a vaccine maker.
The pharmaceutical kingpin was defending his company over reports that Pfizer’s “best days” are now in the past since the Covid pandemic was over.
“I truly think that the best days of Pfizer are ahead of us, because Covid was for me was like a rehearsal.”
He then continued to boast that Pfizer can now rapidly roll out mRNA shots in response to the next “main disease.”
Bourla then suggested that Covid seems insignificant because Pfizer is now “after cancer and many other things in the years to come.”

The House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government have issued a joint report claiming to have evidence the Biden administration directly pressured Amazon to shadow ban books from their website challenging the efficacy of vaccines.
The House Judiciary Chairman Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) said they have internal emails from Amazon employees showing they followed whatever the administration wanted to avoid criticism from the Biden administration. Jordan said the employees admitted that “the impetus for this request is criticism from the Biden Administration about sensitive books we’re giving prominent placement to.”
It has been revealed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, Amazon censored a number of anti-vaccine books at the behest of the Biden administration. Documents obtained by the House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government showed that the online retailer caved to pressure from the federal government and reduced the visibility of certain titles critical of jabs and the pharmaceutical industry.
While many of the books touched on long-debunked ideas such as the link between vaccines and autism, others were written by scientists and contained medical information.
According to Judiciary Committee Chair Rep. Jim Jordan, internal emails from Amazon showed employees admitting that “the impetus for this request is criticism from the Biden Administration about sensitive books we’re giving prominent placement to.” A new “Do Not Promote” class was created, and over 40 titles were quickly added to the list.
‘Truly Shameful’: Pentagon Ran Secret Anti-Vax Campaign Against China at Height of Covid Pandemic
A Reutersinvestigation published Friday revealed that the Pentagon ran a “clandestine operation” aimed at discrediting China’s coronavirus vaccines and treatments, a campaign that U.S. public health experts and others condemned as a cynical ploy that endangered lives for political purposes.
According to Reuters, the Pentagon’s secretive campaign was designed to counter what the U.S. “perceived as China’s growing influence in the Philippines,” a country that was ravaged by Covid-19. The virus, which killed millions of people globally, was first detected in Wuhan, China in late 2019.
The campaign reportedly began in the spring of 2020 and was terminated in the middle of 2021 after it had expanded beyond Southeast Asia to Central Asia and the Middle East. U.S. officials involved in the effort worked “to sow doubt about the safety and efficacy of vaccines and other lifesaving aid that was being supplied by China” using “phony internet accounts meant to impersonate Filipinos,” Reuters found.
“Social media posts decried the quality of face masks, test kits, and the first vaccine that would become available in the Philippines—China’s Sinovac inoculation,” the news agency added. “Reuters identified at least 300 accounts on X, formerly Twitter, that matched descriptions shared by former U.S. military officials familiar with the Philippines operation. Almost all were created in the summer of 2020 and centered on the slogan #Chinaangvirus—Tagalog for China is the virus.”
Major Study: Covid Shots Trigger Psychiatric Adverse Events
A large-scale study of two million vaccinated people has uncovered evidence that Covid mRNA shots trigger psychiatric adverse events.
The peer-reviewed study was conducted by top Korean scientists and published in the world-renowned Nature Journal.
Led by Eun Mi Chu from the School of Medicine Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea, the team of researchers analyzed the data of two million Korean citizens who had received at least one dose of a Covid mRNA shot.
The study looked into serious adverse events (AEs) of a psychiatric nature linked to COVID-19 vaccination.
The number of Kenyans relocating to the US grew at the fastest pace in a decade in 2022, signalling growing opportunities for skilled and semi-skilled labour in the world’s largest economy.
Data from the American liberal think-tank Migration Policy Institute (MPI) indicates that Kenyan immigrants to the US in 2022 stood at 168,915, a 9.6 percent jump from the 154,062 recorded in 2021 when global economies were recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The jump was the highest since the 15.9 percent recorded in 2011 when the number stood at 102,561 up from the 88,519 that had relocated in 2010.
The drift also comes as a result of a shrinking job market in the local economy, which has compelled labour providers to seek openings abroad.
Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Blames COVID-19 Nursing Home Order on Unknown Staffer During Testimony to Congress
On June 11, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo told Congress members that he was not responsible for an order requiring nursing homes to accept residents discharged from hospitals, even if they were still infected with COVID-19, according to lawmakers present in the room.
Mr. Cuomo did “tell us that he did not know that this directive existed, that he did not authorize it, that his Department of Health Commissioner did not authorize it, that somehow it just popped up from an unknown staff member,” Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-N.Y.) told reporters in a briefing after the closed-door hearing.
If you’ve been sick with COVID-19, you may have some protection against certain versions of the common cold.
A new study suggests previous COVID-19 infections lower the risk of getting colds caused by milder coronavirus cousins, which could provide a key to broader COVID-19 vaccines.
“We think there’s going to be a future outbreak of a coronavirus,” said Dr. Manish Sagar, senior author of the study published Wednesday in the journal Science Translational Medicine. “Vaccines potentially could be improved if we could replicate some of the immune responses that are provided by natural infection.”
The study looked at COVID-19 PCR tests from more than 4,900 people who sought medical care between November 2020 and October 2021. After controlling for things like age, gender and preexisting conditions, Sagar said he and his colleagues found people previously infected with COVID-19 had about a 50% lower chance of having a symptomatic coronavirus-caused common cold compared with people were were, at the time, fully vaccinated and hadn’t yet gotten COVID-19.
The state of Indiana has passed a bill to end the sale of land to the CCP, the Chinese Communist Party, a bill that was passed and signed after a CCP-connected company was caught trying to buy land. The company that was identified was Fufeng who had just attempted to purchase land in Grand Forks, North Dakota but had to exit the deal after the U.S. Air Force issued a memo referring to the company as a “significant threat to national security.”
The exposure led to more discoveries of CCP purchases of land in Indiana that seems to have resulted from an intentional concentration on the state by the CCP. The network of CCP-connected companies was built under the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, The website openly states it exists to connect Chinese American entrepreneurs with Chinese-owned businesses to come in partnership with one another.
Indiana’s speedy passage of House Bill 1183 in March, prohibiting certain land sales to companies from China and other adversarial countries, has halted a pending real estate deal with the China-owned company Fufeng, according to LaPorte County Assessor records. Fufeng was looking for real estate in Indiana after being booted out of Grand Forks, North Dakota, following a U.S. Air Force memo that called it a “significant threat to national security.”
Fufeng managed to implant itself in North Dakota with a land purchase before being tarred and feathered out of the state. Fortunately, it was legislated out of Indiana — for now.
Fufeng’s short-lived appearance in Indiana was a smoking gun. What else is going on? The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), an unelected upgrade to the traditional commerce department, helps select and develop businesses in Indiana. The IEDC has set up many China-owned companies in the state, including 25 currently operational, according to the IEDC general counsel.
The trend of China-based companies in Indiana has not developed organically but through centralized planning with the help of a Chinese Communist Party-linked nonprofit. A contract on the IEDC’s website shows that it has been paying the America China Society of Indiana (ACSI) to facilitate deals with China-owned businesses. The contract outlines IEDC’s interest in “identifying and creating a pipeline of [foreign direct investment] prospects in China” and preparing trip itineraries, among other tasks.
A state contract to fill a requested “pipeline” of China-owned businesses wishing to engage in foreign direct investment, including the purchase of U.S. land, is concerning. The 2017 National Intelligence Law of the People’s Republic of China directs that “any organization or citizen shall support, assist, and cooperate with the state intelligence work” and “state intelligence work institutions shall collect and handle the acts or acts of foreign institutions, organizations, and individuals….”
In other words, China-owned companies operating in the United States are expected to collect intelligence on the United States. Further, most large Chinese companies, especially those allowed to expand into the United States, have CCP members or even party committees within them ensuring loyalty to the CCP’s goals.
Beyond the concerns with Chinese companies taking root in the United States, an organization such as ACSI introduces additional issues when attached to state-level government. ACSI has implemented a series of influence operations and public relations events that may have compromised state decision-making through pressure, gain, or both.
You Will Know Them by Their Fruits
ACSI’s 2018 board of directors paints a picture of the IEDC’s exposure to CCP influence.
A member of the IEDC is on the board, guaranteeing that the IEDC is not only aware of, but actively has influence in, ACSI’s activities.
Westfield Outdoors is one of the China-owned businesses that ACSI brought in as part of the “pipeline.” Westfield Outdoors, along with other China-owned businesses, is one of ACSI’s member sponsors, which in turn influence businesses ACSI recommends to Indiana.
Dr. Zao (Joe) Xu, founder of the Confucius Institute at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, was on the ACSI board until 2018. The U.S. government defunded Confucius Institutes (CI) following expert testimony identifying CI as part of a CCP influence operation. The Confucius Institute at IUPUI closed in 2019 along with nearly all others in the United States.
A board that convenes Indiana government representatives alongside CCP-linked influence operators and oversees a society whose members include China-owned businesses with an intel-gathering mission is a recipe for compromised decision-making.
The Deepening
In 2019, Indiana Governor and IEDC Board Chairman Eric Holcomb took a trip to China likely arranged by ACSI “to renew the Indiana-Zhejiang sister-state relationship” established back in 1987. The Indiana legislature has since banned sister-city agreements with China, so Holcomb had to sign a bill that deeply criticizes the same kind of agreement he celebrated just five years ago.
During that trip, Holcomb visited with the president of the China People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), known as the “‘public face’ of the CCP’s United Front Work Department.”
In contrast to ACSI’s description of CPAFFC as “focused on deepening international friendships,” the CPAFFC’s mission in its own words is “to make the foreign serve China.” This stunning whitewashing is readily available on Wikipedia.
Why did Indiana’s governor meet with the leader of the part of the CCP’s influence operation concerned with making other countries serve China? ACSI would have added the CPAFFC stop to the itinerary as part of its role arranging IEDC’s China-bound trips, at the direction of the CCP. It is possible that Holcomb thought he was innocently “deepened” by a nice lady with a panda plate. But from the CPAFFC’s and CCP’s point of view, he declared his subservience.
‘Mask Diplomacy’
During early Covid days, China hoarded masks while companies like MyPillow diverted production to manufacturing masks for donation. Then China decided it was time to share. ACSI worked diligently to ensure Indiana participated in the geopolitical phenomenon later coined “Mask Diplomacy.”
Mask diplomacy, the CCP’s effort to look generous and deflect suspicions that Covid came from the Wuhan Lab, involved distributing small quantities of masks for a photo op. Indiana was among the favored states and countries to receive the honor of free masks, per the July 2020 news story on ACSI’s website.
In reality, this publicity stunt was a favor the CCP called in, likely among those trusted partners who have pledged allegiance to the CCP’s head of foreign submission (the CPAFFC) and could be counted on to promote this effort. With both the general public and the carefully selected recipients, the self-serving “favor” was an investment that would be expected to produce a return.
To the recipients, it was likely a nuisance. In context, 100,000 masks is a very small number. The IEDC reported in 2020 with macabre glee that it took fiduciary charge of spending $49 million on 27 million masks for the state, the smallest order of which was 1 million masks. The Chinese gift came with a very detailed receipt — the only mention of this event on IEDC’s website:
The IEDC likely had little “desire” for such a small quantity of masks, other than to satisfy the CCP’s desire to give masks and take credit. But in doing so, the state of Indiana (through its contractor ACSI) accepted a public gift from the Zhejiang Provincial Government of the CCP with an approximate value of nearly $200,000. What are the odds that the CCP would parlay that “favor” into a return gesture?
Far-Flung Fufeng
These are some of the more interesting elements within a long pattern of CCP-linked business development activities, advertised little if at all by the IEDC. It may also explain why the IEDC accepted the disgraced Fufeng earlier this year after its Department of Defense-directed expulsion from North Dakota.
Will the IEDC cancel its contract with ACSI for a “pipeline” of China-based companies in light of the HB 1183 restrictions? Do other states have similarly low-profile links to the CCP buried deep within unelected departments? The nearly two-thirds of all U.S. states currently advancing anti-China bills similar to HB 1183 may be doing so at odds with influence operations hidden within their own governments.

A study conducted by Cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough shows patients who have had at least one mRNA Covid-19 vaccine have experienced a 1,200 percent increase in unexplained deaths. The study tracked patients who had received the Covid-19 mRNA vaccine and resided in King County, Washington.
From the study, “Our analysis revealed a 25.7% increase in total cardiopulmonary arrests and a 25.4% increase in cardiopulmonary arrest mortality from 2020 to 2023 in King County, WA. Excess cardiopulmonary arrest deaths were estimated to have increased by 1,236% from 2020 to 2023, rising from 11 excess deaths (95% CI: -12, 34) in 2020 to 147 excess deaths (95% CI: 123, 170) in 2023. A quadratic increase in excess cardiopulmonary arrest mortality was observed with higher COVID-19 vaccination rates.”
A jolting new study has found that deaths surge by over 1,200 percent among people who have received at least one Covid mRNA shot.
The study was conducted by a group of world-renowned epidemiologists, cardiologists, and data experts.
The pre-print paper for the study, co-authored by celebrated cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough, was published Monday.
The study, titled “Excess Cardiopulmonary Arrest and Mortality after COVID-19 Vaccination in King County, Washington,” sought to investigate concerns about major spikes in serious cardiovascular adverse events, including myocarditis, myocardial infarction, and venous thromboembolism, all of which can lead to cardiopulmonary arrest.
The team of experts analyzed data on deaths in King County, Washington between 2020 and 2023.
The county has one of the highest rates of vaccinations in the United States.
98 percent of King County’s residents received at least one Covid injection by 2023.
The county has also suffered from a surge in excess deaths since the Covid mRNA shots were first rolled out for public use in 2021.
An analysis of U.K. government health data shows a spike in what is called Turbo Cancers occurring among teens and young adults who have received MRNA Covid-19 Vaccines. The study was conducted by world-renowned data analyst Edward Dowd.
From the study: “We show a large increase in mortality due to malignant neoplasms that started in 2021 and accelerated substantially in 2022. The increase in excess deaths in 2022 is highly statistically significant (extreme event). The results indicate that from late 2021 a novel phenomenon leading to increased malignant neoplasm deaths appears to be present in individuals aged 15 to 44 in the UK.”
A dramatic surge of turbo cancer deaths is being recorded around the world among teenagers and young adults who have been vaccinated with Covid mRNA shots.
An alarming new study uncovered the shocking spike in official government data.
The study shows that not only have cancer diagnoses skyrocketed since 2021, but the time frame between diagnosis and death in young people has been significantly reduced.
According to a new study, official government data shows that turbo cancer death rates have sparing in young people aged 15- to 44 years old over the past three years.
Since 2021, doctors around the world have been reporting surging cases of deadly turbo cancers.
A video filmed in 2021 shows Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel admitting he told Dr. Anthony Fauci to “mock up an outbreak” of a deadly virus to prove the medical industry could respond rapidly to produce a vaccine. He made that plea just one month before the plandemic began to unfold.
To bolster declining electric car sales, President Biden told EPA to create a new emissions standard. The agency put epidemiologists to work and declared that X (fill in any number you like, it’s epidemiology, that’s what they did) life-years have been lost without electric cars and trucks, and created a new emissions-standard that is effectively a ban on their competitors. Thanks to a 1984 Supreme Court ruling, a ‘Chevron deference’ judgment that for no sane reason has not been challenged, Presidents can do that. If they want to create a law without Congress, they direct an agency to do it. Because the Chevron Deference ruling found that agencies could create any regulation if it’s in their mandate, a President can just change their mandate. President Biden did it with CDC when he wanted to control rental properties in the US (struck down) and EPA when he wanted to declare a man-made pond on a farm a Navigable Water of the United States (struck down) and when his own government employees didn’t want to get a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine (not struck down, he only made OSHA tell the private sector to do that.)

Many high school seniors lost the opportunity to attend commencement four years ago due to COVID-19 lockdowns. Now, some of those same students are graduating from college and, once again, missing out on the momentous occasion.
Columbia University, the University of Southern California, Pomona College, and Emory University, among others, recently canceled or modified their commencement ceremonies due to safety concerns after raucous pro-Palestinian protests on campus.
Other recent graduation ceremonies have been disrupted by protesters, including at Duke University, Virginia Commonwealth University, UC Berkeley, Emerson College and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Axiosreported.
Officials at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) scrambled to cover up a study that revealed two teenage boys died suddenly shortly after receiving Covid mRNA shots.
In a study published on February 14, 2022, experts revealed that the two teens both suffered unexpected fatal heart failure after being injected with the experimental mRNA shots.
The study was the first to detail examinations of American children who died of heart failure after COVID-19 vaccination.
However, the study’s paper set off a firestorm within the CDC that led to attempts by agency officials to overrule the medical examiners who examined the boys, internal emails have revealed.
Within hours of the study being published, federal officials scrambled to respond.
Internal CDC emails show officials were worried the paper would harm their efforts to promote the Covid injections to the public.
Wages for the typical U.S. worker have grown since the pandemic, but for many Americans those gains are being gobbled up by rising rent.
Rents have jumped 30.4% nationwide between 2019 and 2023 while wages during that same period only grew 20.2%, according to a recent analysis from online real estate brokers Zillow and StreetEasy. Gaps between wage growth and rent increases were widest in large cities, including Atlanta; Charlotte, North Carolina; Miami, Phoenix and Tampa. Other cities where renters are feeling the tightest pinch include Baltimore, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, New York and San Diego.
The cost of renting began its sharp climb during the pandemic, as demand roared due to Americans fleeing major urban centers and opting for more space away from neighbors in the suburbs and rural areas. Rent is still increasing, housing experts say, just at a much slower pace than in recent history…
“New multifamily buildings coming online have eased competitive pressure in many markets, but in New York City construction just simply can’t keep up with demand,” Lee said in a statement.
Kroger is making changes to its employee handbook that target the unvaccinated with a $50 a month “tax” and cut them off from having any “paid pandemic-related leave.”
The company is not able to fire unvaccinated workers outright, so it seems it is intending on pressuring them out instead. The yearly cost for each unvaccinated employee is $600, presuming they or one of their family members don’t suffer pandemic-related needs that could force them to miss work with no hope of being given paid leave as vaccinated workers would be able to rest on.
In a bid to push more of its workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19, Kroger will eliminate paid pandemic-related leave and charge $50 per month to employees that haven’t gotten shots.
Kroger stopped short of mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for workers, but said it is “modifying policies to encourage safe behaviors including vaccination.” Company officials added the grocer will also continue to offer a one-time $100 bonus to workers that get fully vaccinated.
The $50 surcharge goes into effect Jan. 1 and applies to salaried associates enrolled in a company health plan. The extra expense would cost an employee $600 per year.
Chinese scientists have engineered a virus with parts ofEbolain a lab that killed a group of hamsters.
A team of researchers at Hebei Medical University used a contagious disease of livestock and added a protein found in Ebola, which allows the virus to infect cells and spread throughout the human body.
The group of hamsters that received the lethal injection ‘developed severe systemic diseases similar to those observed in human Ebola patients,’ including multi-organ failure,’ the study shared.
(Reuters) – Search engine giant Baidu Inc beat first-quarter revenue and profit estimates on Tuesday as businesses spent more on advertising amid China’s post-COVID reopening, and said it was awaiting regulatory approval to launch its ChatGPT-like Ernie bot.
Business momentum in China is building after it dropped most of its strict COVID-19 curbs late last year, with consumers and companies reviving spending.
China’s economy grew a faster-than-expected 4.5% year-on-year in the three months through March, according to the latest official data.
Baidu CEO Robin Li said on Tuesday that after the Lunar New Year in late January, there was a quick economic recovery that especially benefited the company’s advertisers in offline sectors such as travel and healthcare.
“Some of these verticals have already rebounded to above pre-pandemic levels, indicating solid signs of recovery,” Li said. Baidu’s revenue rose 10% to 31.14 billion yuan ($4.54 billion) in the quarter to March 31, surpassing analysts’ estimates of 29.97 billion yuan, according to Refinitiv data.
There is a famous adage that when Republicans screw up, that is the story; when Democrats screw up, the Republican reaction is the story.
Legal Insurrection readers will recall our coverage of EcoHealth’s bat virus research in Wuhan and the history of its President Peter Daszak, as it pertains to the origins of the novel coronavirus that spread worldwide. As a reminder:
Daszak was in charge of organizing the infamous Lancet article used to assert the coronavirus was from a natural source and deem lab-leak proposals as conspiracy theories. He arranged for over 20 scientists to sign the document.
….Weren’t they even slightly suspicious when the person organizing the letter in The Lancet was none other than the deeply conflicted Dr. Peter Daszak, head of green nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance?
Daszak had been collaborating for 15 years with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which we know was conducting dangerous Frankenstein research, known as “gain of function,” on bat coronaviruses, which makes them more lethal and more infective to humans.
He co-authored papers with Shi Zhengli, the head of the Wuhan research team, and he funneled part of the $100 million in US government funding he received to her lab.
Yet despite his compelling vested interest to absolve the lab of involvement in the pandemic, Daszak drafted the Lancet letter and convinced 26 others to sign it, emails released under the Freedom of Information Act revealed last year.
