President Donald Trump has announced that after speaking with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum he has agreed that Mexico will not be required to pay tariffs on anything that falls under the US-Mexico-Canada-Agreement until 2 April.

His post reads:

After speaking with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico, I have agreed that Mexico will not be required to pay Tariffs on anything that falls under the USMCA Agreement. This Agreement is until April 2nd. I did this as an accommodation, and out of respect for, President Sheinbaum. Our relationship has been a very good one, and we are working hard, together, on the Border, both in terms of stopping Illegal Aliens from entering the United States and, likewise, stopping Fentanyl. Thank you to President Sheinbaum for your hard work and cooperation!

CNN Is SHOCKED Over Mass Public Support For DOGE Cuts– www.louderwithcrowder.com

Who would have guessed that stopping the blatant misuse of tax dollars for reasons that will never benefit the American people would be deeply popular? CNN’s Harry Enten could not, as he claims to be flabbergasted by the massive public support polls.

According to the Daily Caller:

CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten expressed surprise on Thursday about the popularity of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cuts to the federal government.

DOGE, which has laid off thousands of federal workers in an effort to drastically reduce federal bureaucracy, claims on its website to have saved taxpayers an estimated $105 billion. Enten, on “CNN News Central,” said he thinks Americans are supportive of the cuts because they largely feel DOGE is targeting waste rather than essential programs.

Can anyone name any “essential program” DOGE has cut? No? Didn’t think so.

“This, to me, was one of the more shocking figures that I saw. Made me go, ‘Wait a minute, hold on one second, whoa!’ Americans on Trump and DOGE efforts, Musk and DOGE should influence government spending and operations: Look at this, 54%, the majority say that he and they should,” Enten told host Kate Bolduan, citing a February CBS News/YouGov poll. “How about approve of Trump trying to cut staff at government agencies? Again, you get a majority here, 51%.”

The only ones who should be surprised are those who have refused to listen to the American people. Voters gave Donald Trump a “mandate” and the sooner they accept that the easier it will be for them to sleep at night.

“So, yeah, Elon Musk might not be that popular, but these cuts and the idea of spending cuts, at least within the federal government and cutting at government agencies, that actually has majority support,” he continued. “I was truly surprised by this, Kate. But the numbers are the numbers.”

MSNBC’s Response to 13-Year-Old Cancer Survivor Called ‘One of the Worst Cable News Moments’ Ever– www.westernjournal.com

MSNBC could not help themselves from completely stepping in it Tuesday night.

After President Donald Trump’s address to Congress, host Nicole Wallace gave her reaction, noting a particular moment when Trump made DJ Daniel — a 13-year-old cancer survivor — an honorary Secret Service agent.

Instead of simply applauding Daniel’s bravery and wishing him the best during that heartwarming moment, Wallace used it to give viewers what CNN pundit Scott Jennings called, “One of the worst cable news moments I’ve ever seen.”

After saying she let herself feel “joy” about Daniel’s moment and hoping he’s “alive for another 95 years,” Wallace gave into the temptation of dragging the moment down and beating the dead horse that is Jan. 6, 2021, in the most vile way possible.

“I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer. But I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol against Donald Trump’s supporters, and if he does, I hope he isn’t one of the six who loses his life to suicide,” she told her fellow panelists in a manner that came off as incredibly stupid, outrageous, callous and miscalculated.

The last time I reported on the Texas measles outbreak, a school-age child had died and the mainstream media was asserting that Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was downplaying the seriousness of the outbreak; yet, there was little such drama over the many measles cases during the Biden term.

Since then, the Texas State Department of Health Services (TSDHS) has reported 13 more measles cases, raising the total number of cases.

So far, 22 patients have been hospitalized, and the number of deaths remains at 1. The number of affected counties, located in the state’s South Plains area in the west, remains at nine, with most reported from Gaines County, which has been the outbreak epicenter.

Of the 159 cases, 80 are unvaccinated and 74 have an unknown vaccination status. Five patients had received at least one dose of the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine.

German parties agree historic debt overhaul to revamp military and economy – Reuters

The parties hoping to form Germany’s next government on Tuesday agreed to create a 500 billion euro infrastructure fund and overhaul borrowing rules in a tectonic spending shift to revamp the military and revive growth in Europe’s largest economy.
Friedrich Merz’s conservatives and the Social Democrats (SPD), who are in negotiations to form a coalition after a national election last month, will put their proposals to the German parliament next week.
Germany’s likely next chancellor, Merz, has seized the moment after the return of Donald Trump to the White House put the transatlantic alliance in turmoil and underlined the urgency for Europe to strengthen its own defences.
Trump froze military aid to Ukraine after a bitter clash last week with its President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, reinforcing fears he could strike a deal with Russia to end the war in Ukraine while disengaging from Europe.
Economists and investors have urged Germany to reform its constitutionally enshrined state borrowing limits – known as the “debt brake” – in order to free up investment and support an economy that has contracted for the past two years.

LONDON — U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Wednesday praised the hundreds of British troops who died fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq “alongside our allies,” in an oblique rebuke of U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who has questioned the merits of a potential European peacekeeping force in Ukraine following the signing of any peace agreement between the country and Russia.

In his opening remarks before the start of a weekly parliamentary question session, Starmer specifically paid tribute to six British soldiers who died on patrol in Afghanistan when their vehicle was struck by an explosive. Thursday marks the 13-year anniversary of their deaths.

“These men fought and died for their country, our country,” Starmer told the House of Commons. “And across the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, 642 individuals died fighting for Britain alongside our allies, many more were wounded.”

Without directly referencing Vance, the prime minister said he and all lawmakers will “never forget their bravery and their sacrifice.”

BRUSSELS — Facing the possibility of a fundamental disengagement under U.S. President Donald Trump, European Union leaders opened a day of emergency summit talks Thursday to beef up their own military defenses and make sure that Ukraine will still be properly protected by its allies….

It all underscored the sea change that has happened in the two months since Trump took office and immediately started questioning the cornerstones of cooperation between the United States and Europe which had been the bedrock of Western security since World War II.

“Given these profound shifts in US policy, and the existential threat of another war on the continent, Europe, must manage its essential defence tasks,” the European Policy Center think tank said in a commentary.

The bloc of 27 will “take decisive steps forward,” Macron told the French nation Wednesday evening. “Member states will be able to increase their military spending” and “massive joint funding will be provided to buy and produce some of the most innovative munitions, tanks, weapons and equipment in Europe.”

Adding to the ebullient message he said that “Europe’s future does not have to be decided in Washington or Moscow.”

The US is “destroying” the established world order, Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK has claimed.

Valerii Zaluzhnyi said the White House had “questioned the unity of the Western world” and was “taking more and more steps towards” Russia, which launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

The comments come as the US puts pressure on Ukraine to make concessions ahead of any peace talks, and after a public clash between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his US counterpart Donald Trump.

Zelensky has since said he is “ready to work” under Trump’s “strong leadership”, an apparent cooling in tensions welcomed by Trump – and which comes after the US paused military aid to Kyiv.

Sens. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, and Rand Paul, R-Ky., sent the letter Friday to Kelly Loeffler, the SBA’s administrator. The letter concerns funds from the Paycheck Protection Program, a creation of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act of 2020, which provided forgivable loans to small businesses struggling with economic disruption from the COVID-19 lockdowns.

“Not a single tax dollar should fund abortions,” Ernst told The Daily Signal. “The Paycheck Protection Program was designed to help Americans struggling during the pandemic, not to go to ineligible recipients fueling abortion-on-demand.”

JERUSALEM: The Trump administration’s cuts to USAID have frozen hundreds of millions of dollars in contractual payments to aid groups, leaving them paying out of pocket to preserve a fragile ceasefire, according to officials from the U.S. humanitarian agency.
The cutbacks threaten to halt the small gains aid workers have made combatting Gaza‘s humanitarian crisis during the Israel-Hamas ceasefire. They also could endanger the tenuous truce, which the Trump administration helped cement.
USAID was supposed to fund much of the aid to Gaza as the ceasefire progressed, and the Trump administration approved over $383 million on Jan. 31 to that end, according to three USAID officials.
But since then, there have been no confirmed payments to any partners in the Middle East, they said. The officials, who have survived multiple rounds of furloughs, spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution.

India’s on the rise — a tech powerhouse and a vital U.S. ally against China’s dominance.  So why’s it being smeared as a cybercrime hub?

Reuters, once a respected outlet, is accused of sloppy journalism funded by $9 million from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) — money that’s fungible, blurring lines between aid and influence.  The Association for Appin Training Centers, a network of Indian software trainers, calls it more than bad reporting — it’s a deliberate, state-funded campaign to tarnish India’s reputation.

The target is Appin, a defunct New Delhi cybersecurity firm Reuters branded a “hacking for hire” kingpin from the early 2010s.  Vikram Sharma of the Association calls it bunk — shoddy reporting twisting old classroom slides into “evidence” and leaning on a 2013 Norwegian study that never conclusively linked Appin.  “The word ‘Appin’ appears in isolated contexts, but we’re not suggesting inappropriate activity by the company,” the Norman Shark report noted, even speculating that Appin could have been a victim of falsified evidence.

President Donald Trump announced a 30-day pause on newly enacted tariffs on Canada and Mexico but was met with mixed signals from Canada. On one hand, Canada appeared ready to move more aggressively on cutting down fentanyl traffic across the border, but on the other, Canada has not ended all its recently enacted tariffs, only the ones in response to Trump’s latest round of tariffs.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford offered the most bellicose response, announcing plans to increase their electricity fee by 25 percent for Americans in Minnesota, New York, and Michigan. Ford said of Trump’s announced tariff pause, “The only thing that’s certain today is more uncertainty. A pause on some tariffs means nothing. Until President Trump removes the threat of tariffs for good, we will be relentless.”

President Donald Trump on Monday agreed to a 30-day pause on his tariff threats against Mexico and Canada as America’s two largest trading partners took steps to appease his concerns about border security and drug trafficking.

The pauses provide a cool-down period after a tumultuous few days that put North America on the cusp of a trade war that risked crushing economic growth, causing prices to soar and ending two of the United States’ most critical partnerships.

“I am very pleased with this initial outcome, and the Tariffs announced on Saturday will be paused for a 30 day period to see whether or not a final Economic deal with Canada can be structured,” Trump posted on social media. “FAIRNESS FOR ALL!”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau posted Monday afternoon on X that the pause would occur “while we work together,” saying that his government would name a fentanyl czar, list Mexican cartels as terrorist groups and launch a “Canada-U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering.”

Judge Ali enters minute order following Supreme Court’s denial of Trump Administration’s Application to stay/vacate.

A minute order is a brief, written record of a court proceeding, typically prepared by a court clerk or judge. It summarizes the key events, decisions, or actions taken during a hearing or trial, such as rulings, motions, or scheduling details. Unlike a formal judgment or detailed transcript, a minute order is concise and serves as an official documentation of what occurred in court on a specific date. These orders are often used to provide a quick reference for attorneys, parties involved, or for future court proceedings. For example, a minute order might note that a motion was granted, a case was continued to a new date, or certain evidence was admitted. (Grok)

“The parties shall meet and confer and file a joint status report by 11:00 a.m. tomorrow proposing a schedule for the Defendants [Trump admin] to come into compliance with the Court’ temporary restraining order …..”

Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) is calling on Congress to take immediate action to defund the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) following an outrageous SCOTUS ruling.

In a jaw-dropping betrayal of American taxpayers and constitutional integrity, the Supreme Court has caved to the radical left, stomping all over President Donald Trump’s rightful executive authority.

On Wednesday morning, the Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration must IMMEDIATELY fork over $1.9 billion in foreign aid payments—money that hardworking Americans never signed up to ship overseas.

This disgraceful ruling upholds a rogue district court judge’s order, forcing the administration to honor bloated foreign aid agreements that predate Trump’s America First agenda.

The court’s ruling was a narrow 5-4 decision, with all three far-left justices predictably siding with the non-profit groups demanding their taxpayer-funded handouts be restored.

The head of an independent watchdog agency said Thursday he was dropping his lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump’s attempt to fire him without cause, ending a case that posed a key question about whether independent government watchdogs can be summarily fired.

Hampton Dellinger, head of the Office of Special Counsel that protects federal government workers and whistleblowers from mistreatment, said he decided to stop fighting his ouster after a federal appeals court on Wednesday allowed the administration to remove him while his case proceeded.

Had Dellinger’s case ended up at the Supreme Court, the justices would have had an opportunity to decide whether restrictions on his removal encroached on the president’s executive authority under the Constitution. A ruling against him could have permanently weakened the Office of Special Counsel, stripping it of autonomy from the administration it is supposed to police.

The recent Supreme Court decision ordering the Trump administration to disburse $2 billion in foreign aid has ignited fierce debate over the court’s role in U.S. governance, with critics questioning its legitimacy and constitutional boundaries. The ruling, which drew sharp dissent from Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh, has intensified scrutiny of the judiciary’s influence over executive powers.

The decision mandates that the administration release funds despite objections from President Trump’s team, who argued that it restricts their duty to American taxpayers and overlooks alleged fraud in aid distribution. Critics, including legal analyst Mike Davis, have accused the court of overstepping, with Davis posting on X:

“When the federal judiciary loses its legitimacy, it must lose its funding.” In his dissent, Justice Alito expressed disbelief, writing, “Does a single district-court judge… have the unchecked power to compel the Government to pay out 2 billion taxpayer dollars? The answer should be an emphatic ‘No.’”

Last night, President Donald Trump delivered his first joint address to Congress, an event that technically isn’t dubbed a “State of the Union” until a president’s second year in office. The evening was marked by Trump’s enthusiasm as he outlined his vision for America and took time to recognize key members of his administration, including Elon Musk, Pam Bondi, Linda McMahon, Kash Patel, Sean Duffy, and Marco Rubio, among others. His energy was palpable, setting an optimistic tone for the night. Despite the constant interruption from the peanut gallery leading to Democrat Rep. Al Green’s ejection from the speech.

One of the standout moments came when Trump introduced a 13-year-old boy named D.J. Daniel. Diagnosed with brain cancer in 2018 and given just five months to live, D.J. has defied the odds for over six years. His dream? To become a police officer. Alongside his father, D.J. has pursued that dream relentlessly, earning honorary titles from police departments who adore him. Trump, clearly moved, announced a special honor:

“Tonight, D.J., we’re going to do you the biggest honor of them all. I am asking our new Secret Service director, Sean Curran, to officially make you an agent of the United States Secret Service.”

We can now say that President Donald Trump’s address to Congress on Tuesday was a big hit as the data now says he drew 36.6 million viewers on Tuesday.

That is 13 percent higher than the 32.2 million that Biden drew for his final State of the Union speech in 2024, Variety reported.

Trump didn’t beat his own State of the Union speeches, though. In 2017 he racked up 47.7 millions, then in 2018 he saw 45.6 million, followed in 2019 with 46.8 million, and then 37.2 million for his final speech in 2020. In comparison, Biden only had one SOTU speech that drew more when he saw 38.2 million in 2022. The rest of his speeches were far less than Trump’s in all respects and all on the same networks as Tuesday’s.

But, remember, Tuesday’s speech was not an official State of the Union speech.

The numbers also show that Fox News won the largest share of viewers, reaching 10.7 million viewers, which was 30 percent of the total audience.

U.S. President Donald Trump was forced to weather numerous interruptions from his political opponents during his lengthy 100-minute joint address to Congress on Tuesday night.

Since taking office 44 days ago, Trump has doubled down on his promise to strip back diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, has attempted to freeze government subsidies to major health care service providers such as Medicaid and moved to dismantle the Department of Education.

In addition, he has tried to halt funding to international aid programs such as USAID, has banned transgender troops from the military and slammed Canada, Mexico and China with sweeping tariffs, prompting a trade war that experts warn will likely result in widespread economic turmoil.

Trump began his speech by briefly addressing the newly instated levies.

“Tariffs will make America great again, and it’s happening and it will happen rather quickly,” he assured Congress, adding that there will be “a little disturbance,” at first.

We are pausing and reviewing our aid to ensure that it is contributing to a solution,” the White House official said. The official did not disclose how long that “review” might last, but it was clear the next move was Zelenskyy’s.

One longtime Senate ally, who has supported the billions in U.S. aid allocations to Ukraine, already appears to be playing a new hand.

“The Europeans are piling on in support of Zelenskyy. Here’s my message to the Europeans: Maybe it’s time for you to defend your continent. Maybe it’s time for you to stop hollowing out your military,” Sen. Lindsey Graham told SiriusXM on Saturday.

“And if you want to use tough rhetoric toward [Russian President Vladimir] Putin, how about back it up with some muscle?
