Over 350,000 Virginians voted in the 2025 election prior to the news that Democratic Attorney General candidate Jay Jones had endorsed political violence, according to early voting data.

News broke on Oct. 3 that Jones had sent text messages in 2o22 to Republican House Delegate Carrie Coyner saying he would give former Republican Virginia House Speaker Todd Gilbert “two bullets to the head” and urinate on his grave. The text messages were first reported by National Review.

By that day, 359,379 early votes had already been cast, according to Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP) data.

Comparatively, only 185,119 early votes had been cast early ahead of the 2021 statewide elections.

President Donald Trump celebrated the election of the right-wing Sanae Takaichi as the likely next prime minister of Japan.

Takaichi is set to become the first female prime minister of Japan after she won the presidency of the Liberal Democratic Party, which has ruled Japan almost uninterrupted since 1955. Feminists on the left aren’t celebrating, however, as Takaichi has distinguished herself as a hard-line conservative.

“Japan has just elected its first female Prime Minister, a highly respected person of great wisdom and strength. This is tremendous news for the incredible people of Japan. Congratulations to all!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, signing his name at the end.

Trump’s congratulations are likely more than a simple nicety. Takaichi’s right-wing views are in line with those of her U.S. counterpart. She also boasts one of Trump’s best friends on the international stage as her mentor, the late former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Takaichi is also known for her hard-line views on China, a key priority that plays into Trump’s vision for the Indo-Pacific region. She’s also expressed her opposition to immigration to Japan, one of Trump’s central issues.

Lobbyists for foreign countries have long helped other governments influence US policy, but nothing compares to the brazen corruption of the second administration of Trump.

Given that anyone anywhere can quietly bankroll President Donald Trump via his “memecoin,” it’s fair to say that we’ve never seen a White House so saturated in foreign money.

It’s difficult to overstate how significantly the world of foreign lobbying has transformed in the past few months. An industry that was once relegated to backrooms and back channels is now blasted out in public statements and social media posts. From India to Oman to Romania and beyond, governments are lavishing Donald Trump with luxury jets, high-rise towers, resorts, and crypto investments—and the president is unashamed, even bragging about it. Eight months into Trump’s second administration, it’s difficult to keep track of all the unprecedented ways that regimes have tried to curry favor with him.

Senate votes for fifth time against advancing legislation to end the shutdown– www.politico.com

The Senate is trapped in a shutdown Groundhog’s Day with no end in sight.

Senators rejected dueling stopgap spending bills Monday for the fifth time as lawmakers show few signs of nearing a detente —even as the shutdown-induced pain is poised to grow as the federal funding lapse heads into its second workweek.

Senate Republicans had hoped the Trump administration’s imminent threat of mass firings, paired with a weekend back home to hear from constituents, would shake loose even a couple of potential swing-vote Democrats. Add to that the fact that most federal workers and active duty members of the military are due to miss their first paychecks Oct. 10 and Oct. 15, respectively.

But Monday evening, Democratic Sens. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania and Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada — alongside Independent Sen. Angus King of Maine, who caucuses with Democrats — were once again the only three to break ranks and vote to advance the GOP-led stopgap bill, which would fund the government until Nov. 21.

Earlier in the day, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) reiterated that Democrats are ready to negotiate on a deal to end the shutdown, but the discussion on health care needs to happen now.

Pro-lifer Savannah Craven Antao says that she will file a lawsuit against Brianna Rivers, the woman who assaulted her during a recorded sidewalk interview.

Her decision came after the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg failed to prosecute Rivers — despite the assault having been caught on video and her repeated confessions on social media.

On April 3, Craven Antao, who works with pro-life organization Live Action, and her husband were in New York filming interviews on the street when Rivers came over to talk.

At first, the interaction was cordial. Rivers agreed to be interviewed and complimented the couple. When the conversation turned to abortion, Rivers expressed support for Planned Parenthood and argued that a pregnant woman who doesn’t want to have a child, particularly if the father is not involved, should be able to abort her child. She suggested that women in such situations might end up neglecting or abusing their children.

Documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act reveal that South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson (R) has reportedly failed to prosecute the overwhelming majority of child pornography and sexual exploitation cases in Dorchester County.

According to internal records reviewed by Rep. Nancy Mace, from 2019 to 2022, the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office (SCAG), under Wilson’s leadership, handled 385 warrants for child pornography cases in Dorchester County, yet only 29 resulted in convictions.

That’s a conviction rate of just 7.5%, with 356 cases dismissed outright and not a single one taken to trial.

“We obtained FOIA documents showing South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson failed to prosecute p*dophiles in Dorchester County,” Rep. Nancy Mace wrote on X.

“Nearly every single child p*dophile case under Wilson’s watch in Dorchester County has been dismissed or dropped. WE WANT ANSWERS. NOW,” she added.

“Offering me a pity discount doesn’t solve whatever internal issues your owners are going through.”

Despite some left-wing thought pieces as of late declaring lifting and fitness a “right-wing” phenomenon, a gym in Canada is apparently looking to buck that trend, charging white gymgoers more than those of color.

R studios, a “yoga and Pilates studio” that the owner has billed as a place that was “created for the misfits, the non-conformists, [and] the everyday person,” announced that it would be charging CA$30 for a studio drop in, but that those who are “BIPOC” (black, indigenous, and people of color), would be able to drop in for a class for CA$15.

The discrimination was reported by Jeff Evely, a retired Canadian veteran who posted the charge rates on X. He wrote, “R studios in Nova Scotia charges double for white people, in violation of Sections 5(1) of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Act. The Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission disgracefully made our human rights a fraud during COVID.”

“CEO Joseph Fraser even made up his own extrajudicial provisions in order to avoid doing his job, in response to the complaints I personally submitted. (I’ll be in the NS Court of Appeals on Wednesday, seeking remedy.) Don’t let the NSHRC, Joseph Fraser, continue to defraud tax-payers of his big, fat salary, like every other senior bureaucrat in Nova Scotia. Like the rest of them, he’s not going to grow a spine anytime soon. Build a bandwagon for him to climb onto. Pressure works on cowards, like Joey. The corporate media immediately caved to the pro-transgender mob by suddenly referring to the would-be assassin of Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh as a woman.

A Biden-appointed judge sentenced Nicholas Roske to eight years in prison for the attempted assassination of Kavanaugh in June 2022, though prosecutors sought a 30 year sentence. Prominent media outlets used feminine pronouns for Roske and labeled him as a woman, despite him being a biological male.

NBC News published the headline, “Woman sentenced to 8 years for attempting to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh,” despite Roske being a male. Roske’s defense attorneys revealed in a Sept. 19 filing that he uses female pronouns and goes by the name “Sophie.” (RELATED: Here Are All The Conservative-Leaning Outlets That Call Dylan Mulvaney A ‘She’)

A court in the northwestern Pskov region released opposition politician Lev Shlosberg from house arrest pending trial for his criticism of the invasion of Ukraine, the Yabloko party’s press service said Tuesday.

Shlosberg, a senior Yabloko member who has remained in Russia despite his opposition to the war, faces up to five years in prison if found guilty of repeatedly “discrediting” the military. The 62-year-old politician was already fined twice on administrative charges for the same offense.

The Pskov City Court ruled to impose a ban on certain activities instead of continuing Shlosberg’s house arrest, which he has been under since June. Yabloko said Shlosberg was barred from using the internet, a phone and communicating with anyone outside his household for four months.

Local media reported that the Pskov court system’s Telegram channel preemptively published — and then deleted — a post wrongly claiming that the court had extended Shlosberg’s house arrest by another two months.

Claimants say government used data to track and target activists in the wake of 2021 coup.

A group of civil society organisations in Myanmar plans to take legal action against Norwegian telecoms firm Telenor, accusing it of passing customer data to the country’s military government for use in repression.

The activists sent Telenor a notice of intent to sue on Monday, according to a statement from the Netherlands-based nonprofit Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO), which is backing the case. The case states that the data shared by the telecoms giant was used by the military following its 2021 coup to trace and target civilians.

The claimants allege that Telenor, majority-owned by the Norwegian government, disclosed data from millions of customers to the military authorities, which, after toppling the country’s elected government, embarked on a campaign of violence and repression.

Asking males who identity as female to use men’s bathrooms creates ‘hostile environment’: UCSD training

A mandatory training for University of California, San Diego students teaches that disagreeing with transgender ideology creates a “hostile environment.”

A student sent images of the training to Young America’s Foundation with “concern that agreement with leftist gender ideology was being forced on [UCSD] students,” said Spencer Brown, chief communications officer at YAF, in an email to The College Fix.

The screenshots illustrate the training teaches students that refusing to call a transgender student by their preferred name is “prohibited conduct” referred to as “dead-naming.”

The training also tells students that not using a peer’s preferred pronouns or requiring them to use bathrooms that align with their biological sex may be “sexual harassment.”

Gun Control Zealots Stand By ‘Two Bullets’ Jay Jones– thefederalist.com

Moms Demand Action bills itself as a “grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence.” The nonprofit’s website notes that former Monsanto communications executive Shannon Watts started Moms Demand Action the “day after the Sandy Hook Tragedy in 2012… with the message that all Americans can and should do more to reduce guns violence.”

But Shannon and her gun-control organization have been curiously quiet about leftist Virginia attorney general candidate and former commonwealth delegate Jay Jones, who reportedly was fond of fantasizing about putting “two bullets” in the head of a Republican politician he loathed.

As of Monday evening, Jones proudly included Moms Demand Action’s logo — including the leftist group’s coveted Gun Sense Candidate seal of approval — on his AG campaign page. Moms says its Gun Sense Candidate program “is meant to signal to our ten million supporters, volunteers, and gun safety voters across the country that, if elected, a candidate will govern with gun safety in mind.”

I wonder if Jones had gun safety in mind when he wrote in 2022 of then-state House Speaker Todd Gilbert, a Republican, that if Jones were given the choice to kill three people with two bullets — Adolf Hitler, Cambodian dictator Pol Pot, or Gilbert, the longtime Virginia House member would get “two bullets to the head.”

If you are a violent criminal seeking to escape from the full consequences of your misdeeds, identifying as transgender is the way to go.

It worked well for the attempted assassin of Brett Kavanaugh, who got a mere eight-year prison sentence instead of the 30 years requested by the Department of Justice, with the judge referencing his freshly minted transgender identity as one of the mitigating factors at sentencing last week.

It also worked for convicted pedophile Christopher Williams, who was placed in the Washington Correctional Center for Women after identifying as transgender. A September 29 report from Reduxx revealed that Williams has brutally assaulted a female inmate, striking her multiple times in the head. Williams was accused of sexually assaulting another female inmate last year.

As Reduxx reported based on testimony from the victim, “the two were in a common area on August 7 when Williams, who stands 6’3″, began punching her in the face in an apparent retaliation against her for calling him a ‘rapist.’ Jones, in contrast, is 5’4″.” The female inmate had tried to avoid Williams, who began to stalk her by sitting near her whenever he could. He attacked her from behind while she was standing at a microwave, throwing her onto the ground and smashing her in the back of the head.

“I was kicked and punched continuously. At this point, I saw who was doing this – Christopher Williams. I was immediately in fear for my life, trying to block while protecting my face and head, kicking out with my feet,” the woman, who remains unnamed for safety reasons, told Reduxx.

We are running out of runway here,” Concha said on Fox News’s Fox and Friends First Tuesday.

“You could be looking at the next mayor of New York: a 33-year-old who has never held a real job in his life running the most complex financial capital of the world, go figure,” Concha added.

Current New York City Mayor Eric Adams ended his reelection campaign over a week ago, nearly three weeks after a New York Times/Siena University poll found Adams had just 9% of likely voters’ support. Meanwhile, Mamdani received 46% support from likely voters, and Cuomo trailed with 24%.

That same poll reported that in a hypothetical head-to-head between Cuomo and Mamdani, Cuomo’s numbers would jump up to 44% and Mamdani’s would rise to 48%, closing Mamdani’s lead to only four points. However, Republican candidate Curtis Silwa remains in the race.

German government advisory body proposes raising retirement age to 73 by 2060– rmx.news

Germany’s pension system should gradually raise the retirement age to 73 by 2060, according to a report by the Economics Ministry’s new scientific advisory board.

The panel of economists warns that without significant reform, the system will become unsustainable as productivity stagnates and the population continues to age.

The report, presented on Monday and cited by Bild, concludes that demographic realities and low economic growth leave no alternative but to extend working lives. It was prepared by economists Justus Haucap of the University of Düsseldorf, Stefan Kolev of the Ludwig Erhard Forum, Volker Wieland of the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability in Frankfurt, and Veronica Grimm of Nuremberg University of Technology. All four are known for advocating free-market solutions and limited government intervention.

“The time for reforms is becoming increasingly urgent,” the authors wrote. “Economic output has been stagnating for years, while comparable economies are growing significantly more dynamically.” The report attributes this to weak productivity growth and demographic decline, arguing that Germany must adjust its retirement policies to reflect rising life expectancy.

A Wargame to Take Taiwan, from China’s Perspective– warontherocks.com

In August 2025, 25 international experts gathered at Syracuse University to do something unusual: plan China’s invasion of Taiwan. For two days, academics, policy analysts, and current and former U.S. officials abandoned their typical defensive postures and attempted to inhabit Beijing’s offensive strategic mindset in a wargame. They debated not how America should respond to Chinese aggression, but how China might overcome the obstacles that have so far kept it from attacking the island nation.

This role reversal yielded an uncomfortable insight. The invasion scenarios that dominate U.S. military planning — involving massive amphibious assaults on Taiwan and preemptive strikes on American bases — may fundamentally misread Beijing’s calculus. As the wargame revealed, analysts seeking to understand China’s intentions should pay greater attention to plausible alternative military pathways to reunification that involve far less force and far more political calculation.

Ukraine is interested in influencing Hungarian national elections in April, said Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó in a new video posted to his Facebook page.

He points to work done by Ukrainians in creating an app for the rival Tisza Party, which is the main opposition facing Orbán during April national elections.

“It is clear what Ukraine’s interest is in the Hungarian parliamentary election, and it is clear who and through what they want to act in line with this interest,” said Szijjártó.

He added that “if anyone had any doubts about whether the Ukrainians would interfere in next year’s Hungarian parliamentary election, they could be sure that the Ukrainians are strongly interested in influencing the outcome of the Hungarian parliamentary election.”

The foreign minister is referencing a data leak that showed that individuals connected to Ukraine were behind the creation of an app for the Tisza party. The leak affected approximately 18,000 users of the party’s mobile app. Among the data leaked was that of one of its admins, a Ukrainian developer, Myroslav Tokar, who works for app development company PettersonApps.

Emmanuel Macron should name a prime minister to push through a budget and then call early presidential elections to solve France’s political crisis, his first prime minister has said.

Édouard Philippe’s comments come after France’s third prime minister in a year, Sébastien Lecornu, resigned on Monday after his bid to form a government fell apart.

Macron has asked him to make a last-ditch plan for stability by the end of Wednesday – but support for the French president appears to be waning even among his allies.

Philippe, who was prime minister from 2017-20 and now leads the centrist Horizons party, said he was “not in favour of his immediate and abrupt resignation”, but that it was up to the president to live up to his mandate.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Attal – who leads Macron’s Renaissance party and was prime minister for six months in 2024 – went on national TV on Monday night to say he “no longer understands the decisions made by the president of the republic”.

‘This is SICK. He is aiding and abetting criminal illegal immigrant killers, rapists, traffickers, and gang bangers.’

“Today we are signing an executive order aimed at reining in this out-of-control administration,” Johnson said. “The order establishes ICE-free zones. That means that city property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as staging grounds for these raids.”

He went on to say that the city would take further steps to stop federal operations if Immigration and Customs Enforcement escalated its efforts.

It would appear that fifteen years of Democrats calling every opposing viewpoint “violence” and every differing opinion “hate” is having an adverse effect on Democrat political fortunes. Assassinating your opponents and calling for their children to be murdered in front of them will do that. So super popular social media influencer Rep. AOC is suggesting a new tactic: laughter. She wants Democrats, who have no sense of humor, to laugh at people while also accusing them of being -ists and evil and dangerous.

This is the same Rep. AOC who is the de facto architect of the Schumer Shutdown. Schumer is so scared of her social media fans (as other Democrats are as well), he shut down the government to make it look like he “fights” and to hopefully encourage the social media influencer not to primary him next year.

Let’s not get it twisted. Rep. AOC still declares that Americans who hold a different opinion than her, like that our immigration laws should be enforced, are “dangerous.” But she says they need to be able to convince Americans that Hitler is coming back from the dead, while also thinking it’s funny or something.

One of the most powerful cultural things that you can do to a political movement that is predicated on the puffery of insecure masculinity – that’s what this is about.
