The White House has announced that it will be looking into the case of a child killer who was freed from prison after less than a decade in prison. Ronald Exantus, 42, stabbed an entire family in 2015, killing a 6-year-old boy. Today, he is walking free after being released 13 years early.

Logan Tipton, 6, was repeatedly slashed in the head by Exantus on the night of December 7, 2015, after the intruder broke into their home. When Dean Tipton confronted the killer, he was stabbed and then tossed 10-15 feet by Exantus. The daughter in the family, Dakota, described the crimes.

“He stabbed me in the back. And then stomped on my head,” she said. “And I remember waking up across the room, not where I was at, and I looked and he was killing Logan and Logan was screaming.” Exantus was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2018 on only assault charges as the jury found him not guilty of murder, citing insanity. On October 1, he was released on parole because of good behavior and educational credit.

While the initial response was decisive, it was ultimately a reaction to an Antifa offensive, not a proactive measure against the organization.

The leftist media love to pretend that Antifa is just an “idea” that has no real structure, logistics, or national leadership, but the protests, riots, and attacks over the last few years have proven without a doubt that Antifa is both highly organized and coordinated. In the wake of the violent attacks on conservatives by left-wing radicals over the last month, it’s past time for the Trump administration to take decisive action and crush the Antifa cells embedded across the country.

More than 15,700 people have made public comments, mostly in support of the rule. The public comment period closes on Oct. 20. America First Legal, a conservative government watchdog, filed the petition with the EAC in July.

“There have been important documented cases of noncitizens registered to vote and of noncitizens voting,” James Rogers, senior counsel to America First Legal, told The Daily Signal.

“Thousands have been taken off the voter rolls,” Rogers continued. “But some states don’t check. In most states it’s not a robust system, but an honor system or pinky swear. You check a box yes or no if you are a citizen. If someone were going to illegally vote, they wouldn’t think twice about lying on a form.”

The Supreme Court, which has a 6-3 conservative majority, in May granted an earlier emergency request filed by the Trump administration in the same case.

The latest filing came after California-based U.S. District Judge Edward Chen on Sept. 5 again ruled against the administration, this time in the form of a final decision rather than a preliminary one.

The U.S. military carried out another strike targeting a purported Venezuelan drug smuggling boat on Friday morning off the country’s coast, killing four people, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said.

“Four male narco-terrorists aboard the vessel were killed in the strike, and no U.S. forces were harmed in the operation,” he said. “The strike was conducted in international waters just off the coast of Venezuela while the vessel was transporting substantial amounts of narcotics 00 headed to America to poison our people.”

The race to unseat Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) in the 2026 election is hotter than ever, and the GOP primary is well underway. One candidate is emerging as the clear winner in fundraising.

For the uninitiated, let’s meet the cast of characters. There’s Rep. Buddy Carter. He’s sending out mailers that purport to highlight his MAGA cred, but, to paraphrase the late Mitch Hedberg, Team Carter is basically saying, “Here, you throw this away.” Despite the amount of Carter cardstock floating around, he’s not making much of an impact.

Then there’s Derek Dooley, the former college football coach. He’s trading on the famous name of his late father, legendary University of Georgia football coach and athletic director, Vince Dooley, albeit without the UGA ties (the younger Dooley most famously coached at the University of Tennessee), gridiron success, or winning personality.

Gov. Brian Kemp has handpicked Dooley as his preferred candidate for some reason. Kemp has poured tons of money from his Hardworking Americans PAC to keep Dooley in the race, including streaming ads galore. Voters are seeing right through Dooley, however.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem and several other federal officials were denied access to a taxpayer-funded federal building for a bathroom break in Illinois.

Tensions have continued to flare between protestors and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Chicago and its environs.

However, a scene that unfolded in suburban Broadview, Illinois, made headlines due to the abject pettiness it embodied for many.

As Breitbart reports, staffers at a municipal building in Broadview prevented Noem from entering the premises in order to use the bathroom facilities therein, a denial that was caught on video.

Highlighting what occurred, Noem took to X to describe her experience, also using the incident to underscore her disdain for Democrat Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and his vocal opposition to the Trump administration’s activities within his state.

“My team and I were just blocked from accessing the Village of Broadview Municipal Building in Illinois,” Noem wrote.

President Donald Trump is openly embracing the conservative blueprint he desperately tried to distance himself from during the 2024 campaign, as one of its architects works to use the government shutdown to accelerate his goals of slashing the size of the federal workforce and punishing Democratic states.

In a post on his Truth Social site Thursday morning, Trump announced he would be meeting with his budget chief, “Russ Vought, he of PROJECT 2025 Fame, to determine which of the many Democrat Agencies, most of which are a political SCAM, he recommends to be cut, and whether or not those cuts will be temporary or permanent.”

The comments represented a dramatic about-face for Trump, who spent much of last year denouncing Project 2025, The Heritage Foundation’s massive proposed overhaul of the federal government, which was drafted by many of his longtime allies and current and former administration officials.

Both of Trump’s Democratic rivals, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, made the far-right wish list a centerpiece of their campaigns, and a giant replica of the book featured prominently onstage at the Democratic National Convention.
