The statistics are as sobering as they are predictable. According to Family Research Council, between 2018 and 2024, there have been 1,384 documented hostile acts against churches in America, including vandalism, arson, firebombings, bomb threats, and shootings. This represents an eight-fold increase from just five years prior. But for those with eyes to see, this surge was never a matter of if but when.

When a culture systematically abandons the God who gave it birth, when it tears down every sacred institution and mocks every holy thing, the inevitable result is not peaceful coexistence with God’s family but war. And that war has now come, quite literally, to our church doors.

The most recent and egregious example comes from Seattle, where 28-year-old Lebron Givaun — a newlywed who had recently surrendered his life to Christ — was gunned down in broad daylight as he arrived for a young adult service at Pursuit Church. Two masked assailants fired over 30 rounds from illegally modified automatic weapons into a crowd of families gathering for a church barbecue.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has opened an investigation into recent accusations that two Fairfax County public school employees arranged and funded abortions for two teenage girls without parental consent.

The Republican governor announced on August 13 that he had directed the Virginia State Police to launch a criminal investigation into accusations that Centreville High School social worker, Carolina Diaz, with the full backing of principal Chad Lehman, had scheduled appointments and paid for two minors to abort their unborn children without so much as calling their parents.

Activists marched through Washington, DC, on Saturday to protest President Donald Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops in the capital, with some clashing with law enforcement and surrounding National Guard troops stationed at the National Mall.

Protesters carried signs in English and Spanish reading “No ICE! No National Guard!”, “DC Says Stop the Military Takeover,” and “Resist Fascism.” Chants of “Trump must go now!” were heard through the crowd as marchers criticized the administration’s move to crack down on rampant crime with the federalization of law enforcement.

A new report details how the Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest LGBT lobby, pressures hospitals into child genital mutilation and castration.

A new report from Do No Harm (DNH) titled, “How the Human Rights Campaign’s Healthcare Equality Index Infects Pediatric Hospitals with Gender Ideology,” details how HRC and its charity branch, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRCF), uses a scoring index to measure a hospital’s “compliance with various tenets of gender ideology.” Hospitals lose points if they do not offer or encourage dangerous and anti-human transgender procedures such as male genital amputation, breast amputation, and fake genital construction for children.

“It is time to expose and root out the Human Rights Campaign’s vast influence over healthcare systems. Our report sheds light on how the HRC weaponized its so-called ‘Healthcare Equality Index’ to pressure pediatric hospitals into chemically and surgically castrating children,” said report author Kurt Miceli, MD, in a statement. “By capitulating to the HRC’s political scheme, hospitals have utterly betrayed patients, especially children struggling with gender dysphoria. If health systems care about providing high-quality pediatric care, then they should distance themselves from the HRC and its Index.”

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is still hard at work cutting billions of taxpayer dollars’ worth of outrageous federal contracts and grants.

In less than a week, DOGE was able to end over 120 federal contracts worth billions of dollars in savings, including a contract to provide Nigeria with a technical advisor. And last week, the agency terminated nearly 500 contracts. This is what we voted for in 2024.

DOGE posted, “Contracts Update! In the last 5 days, agencies terminated 123 wasteful contacts with a ceiling value of $5.3B and savings of $4.2B, including an $857k DOI contract for a ‘technical advisor, Lagos Nigeria’, a $1.5M Dept. of Treasury contract for ‘Word Processing and Document Formatting Services Examination Training’ for the IRS, SBSE and HCO, and a $785k State Dept. consulting contract for ‘staffing.’”

With the runaway Texas Democrats folding, it’s only a matter of time before the new redistricting plan passes and Republicans pick up five new House seats. The decision to gerrymander the Lone Star State was made in response to states like California, which, despite its “independent commission,” has a map that gives Democrats 43 of the 52 seats with just 60 percent of the total vote.

Medpage Today reports that the study, published by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), examines data from 118,338 chemical abortion pill packs dispensed over a 15-month span (the beginning of July 2023 to the end of September 2024) by the pro-abortion group Aid Access (whose founder Rebecca Gomperts was one of the study’s co-authors).

It found that 84 percent of those packs were sent to states that do not allow abortion pills to be prescribed without seeing a doctor in-person.

LGBT activists in Colorado have a new target: a Christian coffee shop owner who runs a ministry dedicated to helping the homeless.

Jamie Sanchez owns The Drip Café in Denver, situated on Santa Fe Drive in the Art District. The coffee shop opened in 2024, but the business is part of Sanchez’s broader efforts to reach the homeless. In 2012, he and his wife, Carolyn, who passed away after a battle with cancer in 2018, launched a ministry called “Recycle God’s Love” that provided meals and Bible studies for the homeless of the area.

WASHINGTON, DC — President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order on August 7, 2025, aimed at preventing financial institutions from denying services to Americans based on their political or religious beliefs or lawful business activities. The order comes in response to past instances where banks and regulators allegedly engaged in politically motivated account closures and restrictions.

The order cites examples of financial institutions participating in government-directed surveillance programs after the events of January 6, 2021, flagging transactions related to companies such as Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops or payments referencing “Trump” or “MAGA” without evidence of criminal conduct. It also references “Operation Chokepoint,” a prior federal effort that pressured banks to limit services to certain legal industries deemed high-risk or controversial by regulators.

California voters want to keep the state’s independent redistricting commission in place, even as Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) pushes to redraw the maps by giving redistricting power to California‘s Democratic legislators, a new poll revealed.

Newsom wants to redraw the state’s lines in a way that favors Democrats to combat President Donald Trump’s push for Texas lawmakers to do the same in a way that favors Republicans.

A POLITICO-Citrin Center-Possibility Lab survey found that 36% of registered voters in California support returning congressional redistricting authority to state lawmakers. Sixty-four percent of voters in the state want to keep the commission.

The Justice Department on Tuesday accused George Washington University of showing “deliberate indifference” toward antisemitism and harassment of Jewish, American Israeli, and Israeli students and faculty, in violation of federal civil rights law.

In a notice of findings sent to GWU President Ellen Granberg, the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division said the university failed to take meaningful action despite receiving multiple complaints about antisemitic incidents in spring 2024, when pro-Palestinian protesters descended on campus. Some protesters were seen in videos threatening and harassing Jewish students. Investigators concluded the university violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bars discrimination by recipients of federal funding.

There’s been a lot of discussion lately about the growing political and cultural divide between men and women, particularly among young people. Of course, the top-line narrative is that young men are becoming more conservative and turning to faith, while young women are growing more secular and liberal.

It’s a generalization to be sure, but it stems from what our culture has done to boys and girls. Society teaches our girls to be “grrrrrrl bosses” and be powerful, but it erases boys, medicating them to oblivion if they exhibit any sign of boyishness and teaching them that they’re less than valuable.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday threatened to file a lawsuit against Jerome Powell, the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, over renovations to the agency’s building.

In a post on Truth Social, the president lambasted Powell over his refusal to lower interest rates and his handling of the renovations to the Federal Reserve’s building.

“Jerome ‘Too Late’ Powell must NOW lower the rate,” Trump wrote. ‘Steve “Manouychin’ really gave me a ‘beauty’ when he pushed this loser. The damage he has done by always being Too Late is incalculable.”

Trump said he is “ considering allowing a major lawsuit against Powell to proceed because of the horrible, and grossly incompetent, job he has done in managing the construction of the Fed Buildings.”

A hypothetical matchup for governor of New York is tightening, according to results showing a MAGA congresswoman coming closer to striking distance against Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul.

If the election were held today, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) would finish 14 points behind Hochul. However, the contest is 15 months away, and the gap represents the smallest since news first emerged that Stefanik was considering a bid for the state’s corner office.

The Siena College poll also asked about Lee Zeldin, President Trump’s energy secretary, who ran for governor of New York in 2021. He trails Hochul by 11 points, the smallest margin of any Republican candidate on record.

Inflation numbers released Tuesday beat economists’ expectations, sending one CNN anchor into an emotional tailspin as she attempted to explain away why President Donald Trump keeps winning each news cycle.

The July consumer price index (CPI) report showed that total energy prices fell 1.1% while food prices held steady and shelter ticked up 0.2%. Gas prices dropped 2.2%, an anomaly for a summer month where a record number of Americans travel during the summer holiday season, but also a reflection of a global economic slowdown.

On CNN, a morning anchor could barely stifle her surprise that Americans aren’t feeling a greater pinch at the grocery store after countless economic experts warned about the shock that President Trump’s tariffs would have on food prices.

Timm was convicted of criminal mischief in the tent case, later telling the court he felt it was his “duty” to take action against the Trump administration.

A man who once made national headlines for previously driving a van into a tent of Trump campaign volunteers is now charged with shooting a wheelchair-bound veteran along Seattle’s waterfront.

Gregory William Timm, now 32, first gained notoriety in 2020 when he plowed his vehicle into a Republican voter registration tent in Jacksonville, Florida. No one was injured, but the attack rattled volunteers and drew a sharp rebuke from then-President Donald Trump, who warned on social media: “Be careful tough guys who you play with!”

Fairfax County Public School teachers have been helping students obtain abortions without the knowledge and consent of their parents, according to a whistleblower who recently exposed the scandal.

Now, the school district is claiming they just learned of the matter, even though the whistleblower, Centrevile High School teacher Zenaida Perez, had brought it to their attention on multiple occasions.

From Fox News Digital:

On a recent morning, Centreville High School teacher Zenaida Perez had a surprise visitor at the northern Virginia school where she teaches English as a second language: a high-powered lawyer investigating allegations that Perez had made public that a school social worker coaxed and funded a student’s 2021 abortion.

The Clifton school district’s superintendent, Michelle Reid, responded to the allegations the next day, claiming the school system had just “learned yesterday” about the potential scandal. Last Thursday, Reid emailed Centreville High School parents, again claiming that the district had taken “immediate action to engage an external independent investigator to get all the facts.”

Perez’s visitor was Mary McGowan, a retired lawyer from Blankingship & Keith, a longtime go-to firm for Fairfax County Public Schools. In a nearly three-hour interview, Perez told McGowan how she had blown the whistle seven times about the abortion scandal since May 2022, only to be ignored and then retaliated against.

As Texas Republicans push to redraw their congressional map along (district) lines more friendly to their party, a redistricting arms race has broken out between governors from both parties.

Texas state House Republicans’ redistricting plans could hypothetically flip as many as five Democrat-held congressional seats, an effort President Donald Trump supports.

In response, California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom is threatening a mid-decade redistricting of his own with a new ballot measure. On Monday, he penned a letter to President Donald Trump threatening to counter Republican districts if the Texas redistricting proceeded.

The Democrats’ media allies are arguing that President Donald Trump’s federal takeover of Washington, D.C., was unwarranted due to sharply decreasing crime rates. However, these reports do not provide a complete and accurate picture of the crime crisis in the area.

Since February, Trump has repeatedly warned D.C. leaders, including Mayor Muriel Bowser (D), that the federal government will intervene unless the nation’s capital is cleaned up.

‘Unfortunately, while Fake News journalists and politicians go out of their way to claim otherwise, the reality is that our nation’s capital is anything but safe.’

House Republicans defied many of the White House’s requests for cuts to programs that don’t align with the president’s America First agenda.

In May, the Office of Management and Budget submitted its fiscal year 2026 Discretionary Budget Request asking Congress to cut funding to programs accused of wasting taxpayer dollars pushing left-wing ideology abroad. While the House Appropriations Committee reduced or eliminated funding for some of the requests, many remain untouched or barely adjusted.

For instance, OMB requested the elimination of funding to the Asia Foundation and East-West Center, which previous administrations have used for advice on how to deal with China.
