A political action committee has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against Donald Trump over his recent two-hour live interview with Elon Musk.
End Citizens United, a Democrat-aligned PAC, claims that the interview “amounted to a virtual campaign event” for Trump financed by X, formerly Twitter, which would be in violation of federal law.
The complaint names Trump, his campaign treasurer Bradley T. Crate and X as the respondents.
“Such a brazen corporate contribution undermines the anti-corruption aims of the Act, and the Commission should immediately investigate these violations and take appropriate remedial action,” the complaint said, referring to the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.
In another blow to free speech, an Ohio court just granted Olentangy Local Schools of Ohio the power to punish students for not “acknowledging” the preferred pronouns of other students. The move is seen as a blow to religious and philosophical liberty, as students of various beliefs will be forced to deny the conviction of their beliefs (such as there is only man and woman, and humans are born into their sex, which is the same as gender).
The ruling will be appealed, but while it is being adjudicated, students already starting school this year will be subject to this forced expression, whether it aligns with their beliefs or not. Circuit Court Judge Alice Batchelder wrote in her dissent that the first amendment actually DOES prohibit the school “from compelling students to use speech that conveys a message with which they disagree, namely that biology does not determine gender.”
Another victory for Big Brother. A court ruled last week that an Ohio school district could punish students who intentionally “misgender” LGBTQ individuals. There’s nothing like crushing the First Amendment and outlawing reality in one fell swoop.
Ohio’s Olentangy Local Schools can now penalize students who “intentionally” misgender, thanks to the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, as The Columbus Dispatch reports. Those confused individuals who think they can be transgender despite biology and who claim that there are dozens of genders are now a protected and favored class. Rest in peace, First Amendment — and parental rights.
As Circuit Judge Alice Batchelder wrote in her dissent from the court’s majority ruling, the First Amendment does (in a world not gone mad on wokeness) stop the district “from compelling students to use speech that conveys a message with which they disagree, namely that biology does not determine gender.” Parents Defending Education (PDE) had argued in a legal filing that the schools’ policy violated the First and Fourteenth Amendments and even penalized students for activity on their devices when not at school. Such LGBTQ policies attack both freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
The judges on the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals based in Cincinnati, said Monday in a 2-1 decision that the district did not compel speech in a way that violates students’ First Amendment rights, upholding a previous decision from a U.S. district court judge. Last year, the U.S. district court denied a preliminary injunction request filed by Parents Defending Education, which would have required the Olentangy Local School District to immediately change its harassment policies for students, The Dispatch previously reported.
Researchers from the Dutch Wageningen University & Research are warning the Japanese that a vaccine developed by a Bill Gates-funded group could be a significant health risk to humans. The Japanese are scheduled to administer a Covid-19 variant later this year. The vaccine is called a “self-amplifying mRNA” or SAM vaccine, for short.

The heartbreak for the loss of little girls, who should have been safe in a children’s dance class, is palpable.
Jean Stevenson said Elsie Dot Stancombe was “absolutely the sweetest child you could ever wish to meet”.
Ms Stevenson said she had been teaching Elsie to sew, and remembered her delight at being able to make her own top.
“I thought I could go on giving her lessons and passing my skills on,” Ms Stevenson said as she laid flowers close to where Elsie was killed.

Police forces across the country braced for more than 100 far-Right demonstrations, with almost 4,000 specially-trained public order officers taking to the streets in anticipation of unrest.
Another 2,000 officers were placed on standby, meanwhile GP surgeries closed early and City workers were told to leave the office. In many towns and cities shops were also boarded up over fears of further rioting.
But it was the counter-protesters who turned out in far greater numbers.
In London, more than 5,000 people amassed in Walthamstow carrying banners of ‘Oppose Tommy Robinson’ and ‘Refugees Welcome’.
Hundreds of counter-protesters also gathered outside an immigration advice centre in Brentford and the Old Fire Station in Hackney.

The British Army will not be involved in dealing with widespread rioting across the UK, Defense Secretary John Healey has said, insisting that police have the powers to protect the nation.

Dozens of British towns and cities have been rocked by right-wing protests and riots against immigration and Islam since last Monday, when a British teenager of Rwandan descent stabbed three children to death and injured ten others in the town of Southport, near Liverpool.
Asked whether the army might have to be brought in to deal with any future riots, Healey replied: “No… it’s the police’s responsibility to respond first and currently they’ve got the means to do it.”
“They will make sure that people are safe,” Healey added.
Elon Musk calls PM ‘two-tier Keir’ over police response to UK riots
Elon Musk has called the prime minister “two-tier Keir” in reference to the conspiracy theory that police are treating white far-right “protesters” more harshly than minority groups.
Downing Street would not engage again with the billionaire owner of X, having previously said his comments about a potential civil war in the UK had “no justification”. Since that criticism, Musk has been repeatedly targeting Keir Starmer on his social media platform.
However, the Guardian understands Labour MPs have been privately warned not to engage in debate on Twitter about the far-right violence and to instead amplify calls for unity.
In a letter to MPs from the chief whip Alan Campbell, he says it is “important that you do not do anything that risks amplifying misinformation on social media and do not get drawn into debates online.”

A number of British police officers were injured Saturday as far-right activists faced off with anti-racism protesters. The clashes come following a stabbing attack at a dance class earlier this week that left three girls dead and several wounded.
With dozens of similar gatherings scheduled to take place around the country this weekend, police have mounted a significant security operation, deploying thousands more officers onto the streets, many in riot gear. Police have also made more prison cells available and are using surveillance and facial recognition technology.
On Saturday, Merseyside Police said a number of officers were injured in “serious disorder” in the centre of Liverpool, about 32 kilometres away from the scene of the stabbing attack in the seaside town of Southport, in England’s northwest.
In a series of posts on the social media platform X, the police force that covers Liverpool and Southport said there is “no place for this despicable behaviour which disrupts the lives of members of the public who live in the city, or are visiting to enjoy the amenities the city has to offer.”

The United Kingdom woke up Sunday morning to city streets covered in debris and smoldering rubbish as a weekend of far-right, anti-immigration demonstrations — stoked by conspiracy theories spread on social media — erupted into violence in seven cities across the nation.
Police arrested at least 100 people, and riot police wearing helmets and holding shields came out in force as Prime Minister Keir Starmer pledged to take action against “extremists.”
On Saturday, groups in Leeds waving St. George’s Cross flags, England’s national flag regularly flown by far-right groups, shouted “Muslims off our streets,” pairing it with a slur suggesting they were criminal child abusers. In the city of Hull, rioters threw bottles and smashed a window at a hotel housing asylum-seekers as demonstrators clashed with police.
What started as targeted anti-immigration demonstrations quickly descended into directionless disorder. A library in Liverpool, reopened in 2023 as an “education to employment” service for people of all abilities, was set ablaze.
One police officer in the city was hit on the head with a chair and another kicked and knocked off his motorcycle. The police force responsible for the region has confirmed that two officers were taken to the hospital with injuries.
The protesters clashed as campaign group Stand Up To Racism and a “stop the boats” rally met at Guildhall Square in Plymouth this evening.
Devon and Cornwall Police also said violence had been carried out against its officers and a riot van had been damaged during the confrontation.
It comes as almost 400 people have been arrested over the mob violence spreading across the UK, with the prime minister setting up a “standing army” of specialist police officers to deal with further attacks.
Sir Keir Starmer has held an emergency Cobra meeting after far-right mobs carried out racist attacks and set fire to hotels housing asylum seekers in Rotherham and Tamworth.
Meanwhile, Australia, Nigeria, Malaysia and Indonesia have all issued travel alerts to their nationals visiting the UK as far-right violence sweeps across the country.

Many also expressed anger at seeing Israel’s flag at the Paris Olympic Games.
Activists said Israeli athletes should have competed with a neutral status like those from Russia and Belarus following the invasion of Ukraine.
“My opinion is that Israel should not have anything to do with the (Olympic) Games,” said 59-year-old demonstrator Abdelali Mebarki, “Russians are taking part in the games without a banner, why not Israel as well?”
UK police arrest two pro-Palestine activists under organised crime laws
Two men who supported a direct action protest by a pro-Palestine campaign at an arms factory have been arrested on suspicion of being part of an organised crime group.
Police swooped on the pair last week over the roles they played in a Palestine Action protest two months ago. It is believed to be the first use of organised crime laws against protesters in the UK.
Lawyers criticised the arrests. Raj Chada of Hodge Jones & Allen one of the UK’s leading protest lawyers who has represented Palestine Action, Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion supporters in court, called them “a very concerning development”.
Seven protesters broke into the Instro Precision factory in Sandwich, Kent, in June. Activists say the facility makes targeting equipment for the Israeli military.
Once inside they smashed equipment, doused the walls with red paint and barricaded the doors before waited for police to arrive. All were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
Kent police said: “Two people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and suspicion of participating in the activities of an organised crime group following a report of a protest at Discovery Park, Sandwich, on Monday 17 June 2024.

Britain’s new Labour government is the latest legislature to consider how it might make it easier for digital workers using always-on technologies to turn them off at the end of the working day.

Alvin Bragg’s office faces lawsuit over records related to Trump prosecution
A lawsuit was filed Tuesday against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s office, alleging the elected Democrat illegally withheld records related to the felony hush money case against former President Donald Trump.
The complaint, filed by the conservative group America First Legal, was prompted by Bragg’s repeated denials of AFL’s Freedom of Information Law requests, which sought communications between Bragg’s office, the Biden administration, and other parties potentially involved in what AFL described as the “partisan persecution” of Trump, the Republican presidential nominee.
“There should be nothing to hide,” AFL Vice President Daniel Epstein said in a statement. “If improper ex parte communications influenced what is supposed to be nonpartisan prosecutorial conduct, all Americans are at risk.”

Judge Chutkan Rejects Trump’s Motion to Dismiss Election Case, Schedules Status Conference
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan has set a status conference for mid-August in the case involving classified documents against former President Donald Trump. She also rejected his legal team’s request to dismiss the indictment.

In the same order, Chutkan granted a temporary delay on the deadlines for briefing on special counsel Jack Smith’s motion to restrict the evidence and arguments that Trump’s legal team can present during the trial, especially those deemed irrelevant or prejudicial by prosecutors.

On Monday, legal expert Joyce Vance delivered her distinct opinion on the likelihood of former President Donald Trump’s impending trial in Washington, D.C. taking place before this November’s election. According to Vance, there is “absolutely no chance” of the trial proceeding in that timeframe, setting the stage for more political drama as Trump faces four felony charges related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

Arizona AG drops election subversion charges against former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis in exchange for testimony
Former Donald Trump 2020 campaign lawyer Jenna Ellis has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in the Arizona election subversion case, the state’s attorney general announced Monday, and charges against her will be dropped.
Ellis is expected to cooperate with prosecutors and testify against other defendants in the criminal case as part of her deal. She was originally charged with multiple felony counts in Arizona related to her alleged role in the effort to put forward fake slates of electors as part of a broader conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election results on Trump’s behalf.
Last year, Ellis pleaded guilty in the Georgia election case and was sentenced to five years of probation and $5,000 in restitution. Ellis was charged alongside several Trump allies, including his former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and Rudy Giuliani in both Arizona and Georgia. Meadows and Giuliani have pleaded not guilty in both cases.
“If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this experience with deep remorse,” Ellis said in a statement after her guilty plea in Georgia.
US supreme court won’t stop Trump sentencing from going ahead
The USsupreme court has declined to halt Donald Trump’s upcoming sentencing for his conviction in state court in New York on felony charges involving hush money paid to an adult film star, Stormy Daniels, and a related gag order until after the 5 November election.
The decision by the justices came in response to a lawsuit by the state of Missouri claiming that the case against Trump infringed on the right of voters under the US constitution to hear from the Republican presidential nominee as he seeks to regain the White House, Reuters reports.
Trump is set to be sentenced on 18 September in Manhattan. He was found guilty in May of all 34 counts of falsifying business records in a criminal hush-money scheme to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.
The notoriously anti-American 9th circuit court of appeals ruled that asking Americans to provide proof of citizenship to vote is inconvenient to the DNC-CCP’s plans to overthrow the republic using non-American votes. At least that’s the interpretation by many critics. The judges ruled because there’s no requirement in Federal laws that Americans provide proof of citizenship that states can’t make the requirement for themselves.
The judges are arguing from silence (a logical fallacy that assumes silence is the same as prohibition or permission). They assume it could EVER be constitutional for the Federal government to write a law preventing states from requiring citizens to prove they ARE citizens before they vote. Of course, that’s not remotely the case, so it goes without saying the two judges who defied basic American jurisprudence voted not for the Constitution, but for the DNC-CCP.
Arizonans who lack proof of citizenship can again sign up to vote in this year’s presidential and congressional races.
The action comes after two of three judges on a panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals late Thursday overturned a ruling to the contrary by a different three-judge panel whose duty it is to rule on pending motions.
The majority of this panel — the one actually assigned to hear the case — concluded the other judges should never have made such a radical change in voting registration rules so soon before the election, saying it would cause chaos.
Thursday’s ruling restored an order issued last year by U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton who had concluded that federal law specifically allowed people to register to vote in federal elections without the same kind of proof that Arizona requires of those wanting to cast ballots in state or local elections.
The ruling provoked an angry reaction from Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen who said it is just another example of “the radical 9th Circuit.”
“They routinely engage in judicial warfare to carry out their extremist liberal agenda that’s contrary to the laws our citizens elected us to implement,” said the Gilbert Republican, who vowed to seek immediate review by the U.S. Supreme Court ahead of the November election.
A similar reaction came from Scot Mussi, president of the Arizona Free Enterprise Club, which crafted the 2022 law at issue. He called it “a travesty of law” and “poorly reasoned.”
Google has learned that its business is currently deemed an illegal monopoly in search and advertising after a ruling by a Federal Court judge. The ruling follows a lengthy anti-trust trial triggered by the Department of Justice suing Google’s parent company Meta.
In a landmark decision, a federal judge ruled on Monday that Google has violated antitrust laws by maintaining an illegal monopoly in the general search services and general search text advertising markets. The ruling comes as a huge blow to the tech giant, often criticized for its vast influence over the internet and user data.
The memorandum opinion issued by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia extensively detailed Google’s monopolistic practices. “Google is a monopolist, and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly,” the court wrote. “It has violated Section 2 of the Sherman Act.” The lawsuit was initially filed by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and 11 states on October 20, 2020, with 38 additional states joining in a subsequent complaint.
The plaintiffs accused Google of using exclusionary agreements to dominate the market for general search services and various online advertising markets. “Google has unlawfully used the distribution agreements to thwart competition and maintain its monopoly,” the complaint asserted. After a lengthy trial process, which included the review of millions of pages of documents and testimony from numerous witnesses, the court’s findings were clear.
The judge noted, “Google’s dominance has gone unchallenged for well over a decade,” and highlighted that by 2020, nearly 90% of all search queries in the United States were handled by Google.

US President Joe Biden took a swipe at Republican nominee Donald Trump in his first interview since dropping out of the race
US President Joe Biden has said he doubts that power will be transferred peacefully in January 2025, after the November presidential election, whether it is won by a Democrat or Republican.
Biden made the statement to CBS News on Wednesday in his first interview since dropping out of the race in July, answering the journalist’s question on whether he thought there would be a peaceful transfer of power.
“If Trump wins, no I’m not confident at all. If Trump loses, I’m not confident at all,” Biden replied.
The US president lamented that the public was not taking Trump’s past comments about a “bloodbath” seriously.
“He means what he says. We don’t take him seriously. He means it. All the stuff about ‘If we lose, there’ll be a bloodbath, it’ll have been a stolen election,’” he said, adding that “you can’t love your country only when you win.”

Raskin Caught On Tape Explaining Democrats’ SHOCKING Plot To Keep Trump Out Of Office
Congressman Jamie Raskin has (D-MD) been caught on tape detailing a controversial plan to prevent former President Donald Trump from assuming the presidency, even if he is selected by American voters. The video captured Raskin discussing what he sees as a constitutional mechanism to disqualify Trump.
Raskin specifically referenced Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, expressing a chilling determination to use Congress as a barrier against Trump’s reinstatement. “What can be put into the Constitution can slip away from you very quickly. In an interview regarding Maryland’s “Reproductive Freedom” amendment, parental rights advocate Deborah Brocato told CatholicVote how the proposal, which is supposedly focused on expanding abortion, will have a significant impact on parental rights.
Brocato, who has four children, is a retired intensive care unit nurse who has advocated for parental and family rights for 30 years. She chairs HealthNotHarmMD, a ballot initiative committee in Maryland that fights “to preserve parental rights, preserve constitutional rights, and maintain healthcare integrity by defeating the deceptive ‘Reproductive Freedom’ amendment.”
Brocato discussed the “Reproductive Freedom Amendment” on the Maryland state ballot in November, which reads,
That every person, as a central component of an individual’s right to liberty and equality, has the fundamental right to reproductive freedom, including but not limited to the ability to make and effectuate decisions to prevent, continue, or end one’s own pregnancy. The State may not, directly or indirectly, deny, burden, or abridge the right unless justified by a compelling state interest achieved by the least restrictive means.
Judge Chutkan Rejects Trump’s Motion to Dismiss Election Case, Schedules Status Conference
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan has set a status conference for mid-August in the case involving classified documents against former President Donald Trump. She also rejected his legal team’s request to dismiss the indictment.
The status conference, scheduled for August 13 at a federal courthouse in Washington, D.C., will cover procedural issues and outline the next steps in the case, according to an order signed by Judge Chutkan on August 3.
Chutkan has directed both the prosecution and defense to file a joint status report by August 9. This report should update the court on the case’s progress and may include details on any agreements or disagreements between the parties, as well as completed tasks and upcoming deadlines.
In the same order, Chutkan granted a temporary delay on the deadlines for briefing on special counsel Jack Smith’s motion to restrict the evidence and arguments that Trump’s legal team can present during the trial, especially those deemed irrelevant or prejudicial by prosecutors.

On Monday, legal expert Joyce Vance delivered her distinct opinion on the likelihood of former President Donald Trump’s impending trial in Washington, D.C. taking place before this November’s election. PITTSBURGH — Vice President Kamala Harris’s pick of Gov. Mike Mikus, a Pennsylvania-based Democratic strategist, said this race will look very similar to the election cycle we saw with former President Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection race rather than his 2008 race. In 2008, Obama ran an aspirational race with a message of “Hope and Change” that attracted a sizable amount of working-class “New Deal Democrats” to his coalition; in 2012, he shed those voters in favor of delivering the new base of Democrats called the ascendant coalition that had a heavy focus on minorities, suburban college-educated women, and young people.
As a result of that pitch to the leftward party “base,” Obama became the first president since Franklin Roosevelt to lose voters in his reelection while still winning overall — but as a unique candidate, he was able to pull that base election off.
The next Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton in 2016, was not successful with that shift left. The former first lady, who was less likable and trusted than Obama, fell short because many of those legacy New Deal Democrats had now folded long-term into the Republican Party. Joe Biden was able to bring just enough of them back in 2020, in large part because of the pandemic, but polling leading up to this cycle before the president dropped out of the running in July showed these voters’ disappointment in his left-wing governance.
This has already been a weird election cycle, and no, I’m not talking about anything JD Vance said about cat ladies. It’s the Democrats that are behaving strangely, even for them – and given that they have been maintaining a Weekend at Bernie’s presidency for almost four years, keeping befuddled old Joe Biden in place, insisting he was “sharp as a tack” and “on his game” until they couldn’t hide the fact any longer that His Dessicatedness has lost it. So now they have anointed Joe’s life insurance policy, Kamala Harris, Queen of the Word Salad. And as RedState informed you, she has picked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her VP.

Battle of the Midwest running mates: Tim Walz vs. JD Vance
Vice President Kamala Harris’s selection of Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) as her running mate on Tuesday sets up a Midwestern showdown against Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), former President Donald Trump’s running mate.
Democrats were already rallying around Walz to join the Harris ticket, given his upbeat personality during media interviews as he attacked Trump, Vance, and the rest of the GOP as “weird,” a phrase that is relatable to non-politicos.
“There’s a lot of folks excited about him. I think he’s just a good-natured human being, and I think the party is kind of cherishing that,” said Michael Ceraso, a Democratic strategist. “And I would argue J.D. does come off more contrarian, way more contrarian than Gov. Walz.”
Walz’s Midwestern background has already prompted Democrats to claim he can nullify Vance’s benefits to the Trump campaign as an Ohio legislator who wrote about Appalachia in his book Hillbilly Elegy.
“This is really the guy that J.D. Vance is pretending to be. This is a guy from small-town America who has played by the rules,” Claire McCaskill, former Missouri senator, told MSNBC. “He’s going to be able to go after J.D. Vance and Donald Trump in a way that is really relatable and is kind of in sync with the Kamala Harris campaign.”
Are Most Americans Familiar With Gov. Tim Walz? Here’s What a New Poll Shows
On Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris announced that radical left-wing Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota would be her running mate in the 2024 presidential election.
As Townhall covered, Walz supports abortion up til birth, transgender surgeries for children, socialism, among other things. When the Black Lives Matter militants rioted in his cities over George Floyd’s death, Walz waited days to call in the National Guard. After the riots, Walz admitted that he failed at handling the riots.
A new poll published Tuesday asked respondents if they were familiar with Walz and his record.
The new NPR/PBS News, Marist National poll reviewed by The Hill found that over 70 percent of respondents said that they did not know enough about Walz to have an opinion on him.
In the findings, 71 percent did not know enough about Walz to form an opinion on him. On the contrary, 17 percent of respondents had a favorable opinion of him and 12 percent of respondents viewed him unfavorably.
The same survey found that Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shaprio and Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly are better known among respondents.

Kamala Harris’ vice presidential pick, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, has come under fire from former military colleagues for allegedly ducking out on a deployment to Iraq in 2005.
Walz, who was just announced Tuesday as Harris’ running mate, is already being touted by liberal media outlets, including Newsweek, as “the longest-serving military veteran to be a vice presidential nominee.”
The 60-year-old served 24 years in the Army National Guard, where he reached the rank of command sergeant major.
The Newsweek account included praise from retired Army Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling, who wrote on X that those who reach that rank “know what they’re doing.”
“They uphold standards. They speak their minds to all ranks (private to generals). They’re not afraid of getting bad news because they know how to fix things when they go wrong …
Walz apparently fudged details of service in Army National Guard, prompting accusations of ‘stolen valor’
Tim Walz, the far-left Democrat governor of Minnesota who was just selected to be border czar Kamala Harris’ running mate in 2024, apparently misrepresented details regarding his re-enlistment in the Army National Guard, prompting at least one of his former colleagues in Southern Minnesota’s First Battalion-125th Field Artillery to accuse him of engaging in “stolen valor.”
Now 60, Walz joined the Army National Guard more than 40 years ago, when he was 17 years old. He then put in 20 years of service and retired.
‘What the hell kind of leadership is that?’
Shortly after his retirement, the terrorist attacks of September 11 happened, and Walz re-enlisted just weeks later. In April 2005, he was promoted to the rank of command sergeant major before retiring again the following month and launching an ultimately successful campaign for Congress.
That’s when aspects of his story become dicey.
For one thing, sometime in early 2005, Walz and other members of his battalion received word that they would be deployed to Iraq soon. Walz, the highest noncommissioned officer in the unit, then abruptly retired in May, leaving the unit without a designated leader.
Tim Walz ‘Embellished’ His Military Record, Abandoned His Battalion, Guardsmen Say
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is an unknown, but the media is already referring to him as “America’s dad.” How sweet. But the picture most of the media is drawing of Walz does not match the opinion of some soldiers in his National Guard command. They think he embellished his career with the Guard and “slithered out the door” before his unit was deployed to Iraq.
“On May 16th, 2005, [Walz] quit, betraying his country, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging; without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war,” retired Command Sergeants Major Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr wrote on Facebook in 2018. Walz was preparing for his first congressional campaign in 2005 when he retired.
Herr and Behrends say Walz promised his unit he would join them in Iraq before backing out. The two retired command sergeants say that Walz could have asked the Pentagon for permission to run for office while on active duty. Instead, he chose to quit.
Van Jones Says Harris Picked Walz To Appease ‘Anti-Jewish Bigots,’ Caving to ‘Darker Parts in the Party’
Democratic strategist Van Jones on Tuesday said Vice President Kamala Harris chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate to appease “anti-Jewish bigots” and the “darker parts” in the Democratic Party.
“You can be for the Palestinians without being an anti-Jewish bigot, but there are some anti-Jewish bigots out there. And there has to be conversations about how much of what just happened is caving into some of these darker parts in the party,” Jones said during a CNN interview Tuesday, shortly after Harris announced Walz will join her on the Democratic ticket.
Josh Shapiro, governor of key swing state Pennsylvania, had been widely seen as the favorite to become the Democratic VP candidate but came under scrutiny by progressive Democrats for his Jewish background and support for Israel in the war against Hamas.
Jones said that picking Walz over Shapiro helps Harris reach many young Democrats, especially Muslims and Arabs, who “have not felt seen by the Biden administration” and called the president “Genocide Joe” for providing military support to Israel.
“But you also have anti-Semitism that has gotten marbled into this [Democratic] Party,” Jones added.
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.) said before Harris announced her pick that it was “very noticeable” and “deeply concerning” that “the only Jewish candidate is getting excruciating, very specific scrutiny, particularly around his positions on Israel.”
Harris ‘Listened to the Hamas Wing of Her Own Party’ in Skipping Shapiro
Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) said Tuesday that Vice President Kamala Harris “listened to the Hamas wing of her own party” in passing over Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) in favor of Gov. Tim Walz (D) of Minnesota as her running mate.
Vance, whom former President Donald Trump tapped as his running mate last month, spoke to reporters shortly after Walz was announced as Harris’s pick. He said that he had called Walz to congratulate him, and had left a voice mail.
But he also said:
Obviously, the big news of the day is that Tim Walz has been nominated as the VP, or is now the presumptive nominee, I should say, for Kamala Harris. My view on it is it just highlights how radical Kamala Harris is. This is a person who listened to the Hamas wing of her own party in selecting a nominee. This is a guy who’s proposed shipping more manufacturing jobs to China,; who wants to make the American people more reliant on garbage energy, instead of good American energy; and has proposed defunding the police, just as Kamala Harris does. I think it’s interesting, actually — they make an interesting tag team, because of course Tim Walz allowed rioters to burn down Minneapolis in the summer of 2020, and then the few who got caught, Kamala Harris helped bail them out of jail. So it is more instructive for what it says about Kamala Harris, that she doesn’t care about the border, she doesn’t hear about crime, she doesn’t care about American energy, and most importantly, she doesn’t care about the Americans who have been made to suffer under those policies.

Kamala Harris just selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate and she could not have picked a more radically pro-abortion activist to join her ticket.
Walz signed a bill to allows abortions up to birth. But he also put his signature on allowing infanticide, letting babies die who survive abortions.
Babies survive abortions every year, including five in 2021 just in Minnesota. But the state no longer protects their lives.
Minnesota Democrats took control of the state legislature in 2023 and quickly passed a series of radical pro-abortion bills. One repealed a state law that required medical providers to provide medical care for newborns who survive abortions and report the situation to authorities.
Reports are indicating Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris has selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) as her running mate — a choice one of America’s leading pro-life organizations says represents the “most pro-abortion Democratic ticket yet.”
“Kamala Harris and Tim Walz make up the most pro-abortion presidential ticket America has ever seen. There is no daylight between them on this issue,” SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement. “Walz is no moderate when it comes to abortion.”
Dannenfelser pointed to legislation Walz signed in January of 2023, which was “at the time the country’s most extreme law enshrining abortion on demand throughout pregnancy as a ‘fundamental right’ without limits of any kind.”
As Breitbart News reported at the time, Walz made Minnesota the first in the nation to codify abortion via legislative action after the Supreme Court overturnedRoe v. Wade and sent the issue of abortion back to individual states and their elected representatives. The bill, called H.F. 1 or the Protect Reproductive Options (PRO) Act, was created to cement in state law the “right” to access reproductive health care options including abortion, birth control, family planning help, and sterilization.

Tim Walz Turned His State Into A Destination For Late-Term Abortions
Minnesota Democrat Gov. Tim Walz pushed to turn Minnesota into an abortion “safe haven” just one day after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022.
Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been at the forefront of the Biden administration’s pro-abortion policies, selected Walz on Tuesday to be her running mate for the 2024 presidential election. The Minnesota governor issued an executive order on June 25, 2022, that said individuals entering Minnesota from states that restrict abortion would not be extradited for receiving the procedure.
“Reproductive freedom is a right under Minnesota law…that right no longer exists in many states, including many of our neighboring states,” Walz wrote in the order, bemoaning the restrictions states would soon apply. “The impending loss of freedom to people around the nation poses an imminent threat to the health and safety of people in Minnesota to the extent that other states may seek to infringe on essential liberties protected by the Minnesota Constitution.”

VP Pick Tim Walz Pushed To Close Gitmo and House Terrorists in US
Minnesota governor Tim Walz, who was named Kamala Harris’s vice presidential pick on Tuesday, pushed to close the Guantanamo Bay prison camp and move its terrorist captives into holding facilities in the United States. His position put him to the left of other prominent Minnesota Democrats like Amy Klobuchar, but Gitmo, Walz said, is a “serious obstacle to peace in the Middle East.”
As a House member representing Minnesota’s First Congressional District, Walz voted against a 2009 measure that would have barred the federal government from shutting down Gitmo and relocating terrorists housed there to American cities. Walz railed against the U.S. detention camp as an obstacle to peace in the Middle East. He also argued that Minnesota’s criminal justice facilities could “handle” housing Gitmo terrorists.
“Walz said he thinks the U.S. detention facility in Guantanamo Bay is a serious obstacle to peace in the Middle East,” MPR News reported in June 2009, shortly after Walz returned from a “fact-finding trip to the Middle East.”
“Walz said Guantanamo should be closed, and the detainees there should be dealt with appropriately. He said that could include care at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester,” a federal prison in Minnesota for inmates who require long-term medical care.

Walz beat out centrist candidate Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), who had broken with the White House in recent years to call for President Joe Biden to finish portions of the Trump-era border wall and opposed its plan to end Title 42, a border policy that allowed illegal immigrants to be returned to Mexico.
Walz has held public office for nearly two decades and has shifted further to the Left with support for policies that benefit illegal immigrants, even reupping in early August a clip of him stating he would invest in ladders capable of getting migrants in Mexico over the border wall.
“I always say, ‘Let me know how high it is.’ If it’s 25 feet, then I’ll invest in a 30-foot-ladder factory. That’s not how you stop this,” Walz said.

Vance said the two will “make an interesting tag team” and Walz that will not alleviate any of Harris’ perceived policy deficits.
“This is a guy who’s proposed shipping more manufacturing jobs to China, who wants to make the American people more reliant on garbage energy instead of good American energy, and has proposed defunding the police, just as Kamala Harris does. (LifeSiteNews) — Kamala Harris’s pick to be her vice presidential running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, is an aggressive leftist who since taking office has instituted a program to bribe teens with $200 VISA cards to take the COVID-19 jab while also offering a chance to win a $100,000 scholarship; signed an executive order making Minnesota a sanctuary for gender transitions; and signed into law a “right” to unlimited abortion putting the North Star State on par with the likes of North Korea according to pro-life leaders.
In 2021, Walz announced that teens in his state who get their first COVID shot before November 30 were eligible to receive a $200 VISA gift card.
The program, aimed at 12–17-year-olds, is titled “Kids Deserve a Shot,” also includes a chance to win a $100,000 scholarship to attend a public or private Minnesota college.
The governor’s attempt at bribery was aimed at persuading kids who were otherwise disinclined to do so to take the COVID-19 jab which had already shown to have heightened risks for young people.
Without mentioning the documented risks, Walz encouraged young people via social media to go ahead and get vaccinated.
“Minnesota teens: Not only are you eligible to get vaccinated, but starting today, you can also get $200 AND a shot at a $100,000 college scholarship,” shouted a tweet from Walz.
“Tell your friends and head to [the Minnesota vaccine rewards website],” he urged.

Democrat Vice Presidential pick Tim Walz wants the three central gun controls that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have spent years pushing in Washington, DC.
Those controls–an “assault weapons” ban, universal background checks, and red flag laws–have been pushed time and again by Biden and/or Harris at every opportunity, including those in which the gun controls had absolutely nothing to do with the events that led to their mention.
For example, the Detroit Free Pressnoted that Biden responded to the February 13, 2023, Michigan State shooting by pushing an “assault weapons” ban and universal background checks, among other controls. However, the Michigan State shooter used handguns, not an “assault weapon,” and acquired his handguns “legally,” so no additional point-of-sale background check would have hindered him.
Most recently, Harris, in her first campaign stop after Biden announced he would not seek reelection, told a Milwaukee audience, “We’ll finally pass red flag laws, universal background checks, and an ‘assault weapons’ ban.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday morning, Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris has tagged Democrat Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota as her running mate.
In February 2019, Gov. Walz was not a big fan of Biden and Harris and opted to endorse Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar in the 2020 Democratic Presidential primary race.

MSNBC Data Guru Dooms Harris for Picking Tim Walz as Running Mate: ‘Fell off the Cliff’
MSNBC’s data guru has spelled doom for the Democrats’ hopes of retaining the White House after Kamala Harris announced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate for the November election.
Data reporter Steve Kornacki said Tuesday that Walz may not be able to move the needle in key states as the Democrats’ vice-presidential nominee.
Vice President Harris announced Tuesday morning she chose Walz to be her running mate.
Harris passed over Pennsylvania’s Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro.
During an appearance on “Ana Cabrera Reports,” Kornacki said that Walz’s 2022 re-election win was similar to how Democrat President Joe Biden carried Minnesota in 2020.
“When you look at what Tim Walz actually pulled off to get elected, to get re-elected in 2022, it’s the Biden model, demographically, regionally,” Kornacki told host Ana Cabrera.
“You go county by county, there’s not much variance between how Walz did and how Biden did.

Kamala Harris finally got around to picking Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate after all the confusion and drama that Democrats were putting out there on the issue.
They decided not to go with the more moderate, pro-Israel Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, likely caving to their antisemitic left. But in that choice perhaps to hold onto the left and maybe Michigan, they may have just given away the state they really need — Pennsylvania — that they pretty much have to have to win, given the current estimates.
This choice may not go over well in the other Rust Belt states. They picked a guy who compared socialism to neighborliness and talked dismissively about the red states as being full of “rocks and cows.”

There’s been a lot of reaction to Kamala Harris’s selection of Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) as her running mate, and one of my favorites comes from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who destroyed Tim Walz and his abysmal record as governor of Minnesota.
“We all remember the [Black Lives Matter] riots of 2020 in Minneapolis,” he said during a press conference in Steinhatchee, Fla., on Tuesday morning. “Those were riots that Harris egged on and raised money to bail out the rioters with the Minnesota bail fund. And they were riots that Tim Waltz, as governor, sat back and let happen. He sat back and let the city of Minneapolis burn. That city has been gutted as a result of those riots. We would never allow that to happen in the state of Florida. So this is a ticket that really represents the spirit of those 2020 BLM riots.”
DeSantis continued, “And you have a very vapid San Francisco Democrat, and then you’ve got an Ilhan Omar-style leftist, Tim Walz, who has the same policies as his fellow Minnesotan, Ilhan Omar.We do not need an America that represents the failed policies of San Francisco or the failed policies of Minneapolis.We do not need to see poop on the street and cities burning down.That is not a prescription for America to work its way back.And I can just tell you, as governor of Florida, particularly in that 2020–2021 period, people fled those jurisdictions.And they’d come to Florida, and they would tell me about the mismanagement, and about letting the inmates run the asylum and how that just destroyed the quality of life.And so I think it was in that period, you were five times more likely to move from Minnesota to Florida than vice versa, and that’s a result of people fleeing those failed policies.”
Mike Johnson Reacts to Walz Pick, Calls Out Democrats’ ‘Pro-Palestinian, in Some Cases Pro-Hamas Wing’
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is the latest to call out the blatant discrimination in the Democrat party, saying that Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro was overlooked as a potential choice to become Democrat presidential hopeful Kamala Harris’ running mate because of his Jewish heritage.
Johnson sat down for an interview with The Hill shortly after it was announced that Kamala had chosen leftist Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz to be on her ticket. Johnson said the Keystone State governor would have been the “stronger choice”:
“I think that [Shapiro’s faith] clearly was a major factor, is that she was reluctant to put a vice presidential nominee on the ticket with Jewish heritage because they’re having a split in the Democratic Party,” Johnson said. “They have a pro-Palestinian, in some cases pro-Hamas wing of the Democratic Party.”
“Sadly for Josh Shapiro, because of his heritage, I think that is the reason he was overlooked,” Johnson added.

The defendant, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and two accused accomplices, Walid bin Attash and Mustafa al-Hawsawi, were set to have the death penalty taken off the table in the plea deal.
Defense secretary overrides plea agreement for accused 9/11 mastermind and two other defendants
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Friday overrode a plea agreement reached earlier this week for the accused mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and two other defendants, reinstating them as death-penalty cases.
The move comes two days after the military commission at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, announced that the official appointed to oversee the war court, retired Brig. Gen. Susan Escallier, had approved plea deals with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and two accused accomplices, Walid bin Attash and Mustafa al-Hawsawi, in the attacks.
Letters sent to families of the nearly 3,000 people killed in the al-Qaida attacks said the plea agreement stipulated the three would serve life sentences at most.
Austin wrote in an order released Friday night that “in light of the significance of the decision,” he had decided that the authority to make a decision on accepting the plea agreements was his. He nullified Escallier’s approval.

A political action committee backed by billionaire Elon Musk is being investigated by the Michigan secretary of state’s office amid efforts to collect voter data.
Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has said he created and helped fund the America PAC, which is supporting former President Donald Trump. Musk has a net worth of over $225 billion, according to Forbes.
The committee has been acquiring detailed voter information from those living in Michigan and other battleground states after people submit their personal data through a section on the PAC’s website that says “register to vote.”
After clicking on the “register to vote” tab on America PAC’s website, users in states like Michigan can submit a ZIP code, address and phone number. People with a Michigan address are brought to a page that says “thank you” and asks users to “complete the form below” to help wrap up the voter registration process. As of Sunday afternoon, though, there was no other form to complete below the words “thank you.”

A veteran doctor, who has served as a hospital emergency room (ER) physician for over 25 years, recently raised the alarm over a dramatic surge in diagnoses of “obvious” cases of “turbo cancer.”
Dr. Ben Marble warns that the spike started in 2021 – after Covid mRNA shots were rolled out for public use.
Marble says in the years he’s served as an ER doctor, since 1998, he only ever diagnosed one, or maybe two, new cases of “obvious cancer” a year.
However, since 2021, Marble says he is now diagnosing a new case of “turbo cancer” as often as “once a week.”
Additionally, the doctor says “every time” he diagnoses a new case of “turbo cancer,” the patient is someone who received a Covid mRNA injection.
Raskin Caught On Tape Explaining Democrats’ SHOCKING Plot To Keep Trump Out Of Office
Congressman Jamie Raskin has (D-MD) been caught on tape detailing a controversial plan to prevent former President Donald Trump from assuming the presidency, even if he is selected by American voters. The video captured Raskin discussing what he sees as a constitutional mechanism to disqualify Trump.
Raskin specifically referenced Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, expressing a chilling determination to use Congress as a barrier against Trump’s reinstatement. “What can be put into the Constitution can slip away from you very quickly. And the greatest example going on right now before our very eyes is Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which they’re just disappearing with a magic wand, as if it doesn’t exist, even though it could not be clearer what it’s stating,” Raskin said.
“They want to kick it to Congress. So it’s going to be up to us on January 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified and then we need bodyguards.”
Raskin went on to criticize the Supreme Court Justices for their alleged reluctance to interpret the 14th Amendment as he believes they should. “For everybody in civil war conditions all because the nine justices, not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not that much work to do, a huge staff, great protection, simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great 14th amendment means,” he said.
The Supreme Court rejected Missouri’s lawsuit against New York over the prosecution of former President Donald Trump on Monday.
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey sued the state of New York in July, alleging its prosecution of Trump violated the First Amendment right of Missouri citizens to hear from a 2024 presidential candidate. In a brief order, the Supreme Court declined to allow Missouri to file its complaint and dismissed its motion for preliminary relief.
Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito would have allowed Missouri to file its complaint, according to the order.
“No doubt it is true that the Constitution would not have tolerated a future Confederate state gagging and sentencing Abraham Lincoln in 1860 to interfere with his campaign for the Presidency,” Missouri’s lawsuit stated. “Doing so obviously would have interfered with federal interests the same way Maryland’s attempt to tax the Bank of the United States did 40 years earlier.”
“Constitutionally, it is no different with New York’s attempt to use coercive power in the form of a gag order and impending sentence to interfere with Donald Trump’s campaign,” the lawsuit continued.
A panel of the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division on Thursday ruled to maintain the gag order in former president Donald Trump’s hush-money trial. While Trump was found guilty on May 3o of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, the court upheld Justice Juan Merchan’s decision to continue the restraining order until after sentencing has occurred.
The appeals court found that “the fair administration of justice necessarily includes sentencing” and that “threats received by District Attorney staff after the jury verdict continued to pose a significant and imminent threat.” The court concluded that paragraph (b) of the gag order “shall remain in effect until the imposition of sentence.”
On June 25, Justice Merchan partially allowed a Trump challenge of the gag order’s operation post-trial. That decision terminated the portions of the gag order pursuant to making statements about witnesses and prospective jurors. However, Justice Merchan maintained paragraph (b) of the order, preventing Trump from:

The word “boy” has been routed from the organization’s promotional materials and replaced with “youth,” as in: “For more than 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath.”

The only option for students who are uncomfortable staying in a room with transgender students is to opt out of the trip, Sarah Coley, the school district’s administrative director, said in an email to school district employees regarding a sixth-grade science trip.
“You would say to the students/parents, ‘If you have questions about the assignment, please feel free to discuss with me,’” Coley wrote in the email. “Then, if a parent says ‘hey, I don’t want my student with [who],’ you could provide an ear to listen and consider whether the student is a good fit, but the eventual response would be, ‘If you / your student is not comfortable with the rooming assignments and process of staying with other students in a room, then they can elect not to participate in this optional trip.’”

U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said during a speech in Belem, Brazil, on Saturday that the price tag for a global transition to a low-carbon economy amounts to $78 trillion in financing through 2050.
Yellen said that in order to achieve the goal of net-zero global carbon emissions, there would need to be $3 trillion globally in annual financing for the cause, which she said is a top priority for the Biden administration, according to the speech. That ruling holds that a Mississippi law allowing ballots to be received up to 5 days after the election to be counted is perfectly constitutional.
The judge exclaimed “So if one federal statute implicitly allows post-election receipt of overseas ballots mailed by election day, that statute is presumed not to offend against the election-day statutes, from which one may infer that the similar Mississippi statute on post-election receipt is likewise inoffensive.”
A federal judge ruled on July 28 that a Mississippi law allowing ballots received up to five days after an election to be counted is lawful.

Local law enforcement alerted the U.S. Secret Service about a suspicious person before the shooting at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania earlier this month, according to the chief of the Pennsylvania State Police.
During questioning at the House Homeland Security hearing on Tuesday, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Col. Christopher Paris disclosed new details about the security lapse that led to the assassination attempt on former President Trump. The incident resulted in one death and two injuries.
Col. Christopher Paris stated that the Butler County Emergency Services Unit had a text thread discussing the suspected gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, and had reported him as a suspicious person before the incident.
“At some point when he utilized the range-finder, the suspicion was heightened,” Col. Paris said of Crooks. He said that State Police got a call and a text from the emergency services unit about the suspected gunman’s activity and told the Secret Service.
State Police officials had “verbally turned right around and gave it to the Secret Service” at a local command post for security, Col. Paris said, adding, “My understanding was that he was milling about and he stood out to them because he never made his way to a point of ingress to the venue.”
The police chief also testified that two local law enforcement officers stationed in the building complex left to search for the suspect before the shooting. He added that he didn’t know if the officers would have seen Crooks climbing onto the roof of a nearby building had they stayed by the window.
