Mexico sends 26 cartel members to U.S. in deal with Trump administration– www.cbsnews.com Source Link Excerpt:
Mexico sent 26 high-ranking cartel figures to the United States Tuesday in the latest major deal with the Trump administration as American authorities ratchet up pressure on criminal networks smuggling drugs across the border.
Those handed over to U.S. custody include Abigael González Valencia, a leader of “Los Cuinis,” a group closely aligned with notorious cartel Jalisco New Generation, or CJNG. Another defendant, Roberto Salazar, is wanted in connection to the 2008 killing of a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy. Other prominent figures have ties to the Sinaloa Cartel and other violent drug trafficking groups.
“These transfers are not only a strategic measure to ensure public safety, but also reflect a firm determination to prevent these criminals from continuing to operate from within prisons and to break up their networks of influence,” Mexican Security Minister Omar García Harfuch said in a news conference on Wednesday.
Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum also said earlier Wednesday that the transfers were “sovereign decisions,” but the move comes as the Mexican leader faces mounting pressure by the Trump administration to crack down on cartels and fentanyl production.
Late last month, Mr. Trump spoke with Sheinbaum and agreed to put off threatened 30% tariffs for another 90 days to allow for negotiations.
The transfers are a milestone for the Trump administration, which has made dismantling dangerous drug cartels a key Justice Department priority. It’s the second time in months that Mexico has expelled cartel figures accused of narcotics smuggling, murder and other crimes amid mounting pressure from the Trump administration to curb the flow of drugs onto American streets.
“These 26 men have all played a role in bringing violence and drugs to American shores — under this Department of Justice, they will face severe consequences for their crimes against this country,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement. “We are grateful to Mexico’s National Security team for their collaboration in this matter.”
In February, Mr. Trump signed an executive order designating CJNG, Sinaloa and six other cartels — Tren de Aragua, Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), Cártel del Noreste (formerly Los Zetas), La Nueva Familia Michoacana, Cártel de Golfo (Gulf Cartel), and Cárteles Unidos — as foreign terrorist organizations.
The cartel figures were put on planes to the U.S. after the Justice Department agreed not to seek the death penalty against any of the defendants or against any cartel leaders and members sent to the U.S. in February. That transfer was of 29 cartel figures, including drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero, who was behind the killing of a U.S. DEA agent in 1985.
“This transfer is yet another example of what is possible when two governments stand united against violence and impunity,” U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ronald Johnson said in a statement. “These fugitives will now face justice in U.S. courts, and the citizens of both of our nations will be safer from these common enemies.”
Sheinbaum has shown a willingness to cooperate more on security than her predecessor, specifically being more aggressive in pursuit of Mexico’s cartels. But she has drawn a clear line when it comes to Mexico’s sovereignty, rejecting suggestions by Mr. Trump and others of intervention by the U.S. military.
Last week, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to CBS News that Mr. Trump directed the military to target drug cartels in Latin America. Sheinbaum responded Friday by saying there would be “no invasion of Mexico.”
Also included in the group expelled Tuesday was Servando Gómez Martinez, also known as “La Tuta,” a former school teacher who became one of Mexico’s most-wanted drug lords as head of the Knights Templar cartel. He was captured in 2015 and sentenced to 55 years in a Mexican prison in June 2019.

Gomez led the quasi-religious criminal group that once exercised absolute control over Michoacan and he liked to appear in interviews and videos. The cartel orchestrated politics, controlled commerce, dictated rules and preached a code of ethics around devotion to God and family, even as it murdered and plundered.
Abigael González Valencia is the brother-in-law of CJNG leader Nemesio Rubén “El Mencho” Oseguera Cervantes, a top target of the U.S. government. Abigael González Valencia was arrested in February 2015 in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and had been fighting extradition to the United States since then. The U.S. government has offered a reward of up to $15 million for information leading to “El Mencho’s” arrest or conviction.
Alongside his two brothers, Abigael González Valencia led “Los Cuinis,” which financed the founding and growth of the CJNG, one of the most powerful and dangerous cartels in Mexico. CJNG traffics hundreds of tons of cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl into the United States and other countries and is known for extreme violence, murders, torture, and corruption.
One of his brothers, José González Valencia, was sentenced in Washington’s federal court in June to 30 years in a U.S. prison after pleading guilty to international cocaine trafficking. Jose González Valencia was arrested in 2017 under the first Trump administration at a beach resort in Brazil while vacationing with his family under a fake name.

US President Donald Trump has reaffirmed support for Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara, saying a Moroccan autonomy plan for the territory was the sole solution to the disputed region, Reuters quoted state news agency MAP on Saturday.
According to MAP, in a felicitation message to HM King Mohammed VI in commemoration of the Throne Day of the Kingdom of Morocco, President Trump reiterates US recognition of Moroccan sovereignty over the Sahara, adding that support for Moroccan autonomy proposal is the only basis for a just and lasting solution to the dispute.

Donald Trump: Senator Cryin’ Chuck Schumer is demanding over One Billion Dollars in order to approve a small number of our highly qualified nominees, who should right now be helping to run our Country. This demand is egregious and unprecedented, and would be embarrassing to the Republican Party if it were accepted. It is political extortion, by any other name. Tell Schumer, who is under tremendous political pressure from within his own party, the Radical Left Lunatics, to GO TO HELL! Do not accept the offer, go home and explain to your constituents what bad people the Democrats are, and what a great job the Republicans are doing, and have done, for our Country. Have a great RECESS and, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!

GOP Rep. Betrays Trump With Baffling Push To Stop Texas From Redistricting– trendingpoliticsnews.com Source Link Excerpt:
On the eve of an audacious plan by Texas Republicans to redraw the state’s congressional districts — possibly assuring the U.S. House GOP another five seats in next year’s election — another Republican lawmaker has struck back with legislation that critics online are calling a betrayal of President Donald Trump.
Congressman Kevin Kiley (R-CA) filed legislation on Monday that, if passed, would prevent all 50 states from redrawing congressional district lines before the 2030 census. The bill comes as Texas Republicans prepare to designate new borders that would create five districts that Trump won by 10 or more points last year.
Kiley said he is seeking to “stop a damaging redistricting war” from kicking off between red and blue states. But critics claim he is only taking up the issue to save his own seat in California.
Citing efforts last year by California Gov. Gavin Newsom to usurp authority from an independent commission, Kiley explained that even his state’s liberal voters disagreed with Newsom when it became clear that he was attempting to eliminate the number of Republican congressmen in California’s federal delegation.

Tyrannical New York Governor Kathy Hochul is fuming over the Texas State Legislature’s decision to engage in mid-decade redistricting to add more Republicans and is determined to counter by any means necessary, regardless of what the law in her state allows.
During a press conference in Albany on Monday, where some of the Texas fleebaggers are residing, Hochul called for the New York Redistricting Commission to be completely disbanded so the state legislature can ram through a heavily gerrymandered map in contrast to the somewhat fair current ones.
“I’m tired of fighting this fight with my hand tied behind my back,” she said. “With all due respect to the good government groups, politics is a political process, and to think we are going to do this with a purity test and make sure it is completely fair to everyone involved…The reason we are able to draw the lines as Democrats is because the majority of people in this state elected us to be leaders.”
“And when we say we cannot use this power to its fullest, we are abdicating the responsibility that we all have. (If) Republicans take over the legislature, they can have at it, but until then, we’re in charge, and we’re sick and tired of being pushed around when other states don’t have the same aspirations that we always have had.”
‘Weak and ineffective’: Just 23% of Dems view their party positively: AP-NORC poll | The Post Millennial– thepostmillennial.com Source Link Excerpt:
35 percent of Democrats used negative terms to describe their party with words like “weak,” “tepid,” “apathetic,” “ineffective,” and “broken.”
A significant portion of Democrats have been dissatisfied with their political party, according to a new Associated Press-NORC poll.
The recent poll highlights growing dissatisfaction among Democrats with their own party following a major electoral defeat last November, which saw Donald Trump return to the presidency and Republicans take control of the White House, Senate, and the House of Representatives. The Democratic Party has since faced internal division over its direction, ideological divisions, as well as leadership.
The poll, conducted between July 10 and 14 among 1,437 adults, revealed that 35 percent of Democrats used negative terms to describe their party with words like “weak,” “tepid,” “apathetic,” “ineffective,” and “broken.” In contrast, only 23 percent offered positive descriptors. Among Republicans, 41 percent used positive language to describe their own party, while 19 percent were critical.
Cincinnati official who said mob attack victims ‘begged’ for beating doubles down; woman punched in face records tearful clip– www.theblaze.com Source Link Excerpt:
The Cincinnati city council member who made headlines last week for saying mob attack victims “begged” for the beating they received sat down for a video interview in which she doubled down on her perspective, refused to resign, and invoked race as a factor in the attack.
‘You never start a fight with a white person. But if they hit you first, that becomes a reason for all of the frustration and hurt and terror … of generations, historical generational pain, to be released. And I believe that’s what happened.’
WLWT-TV said the woman shared her video with the station and asked to be identified only by her first name — Holly — and thanked “everyone for all of the love and support. It is very humbling that you have sent your prayers, your blessings. It’s definitely what’s keeping me going, and you have just brought back faith in humanity, so God bless you all. And thank you. I appreciate everything that you’re doing for me and my family. It’s been very, very hard, and I’m still recovering. I still have very bad brain trauma and it’s — thank you. Thank you, everyone.”
Federal Judges Keep Defying Supreme Court Orders Against Trump Admin– dailycaller.com Source Link Excerpt:
Federal judges are increasingly ruling against the Trump administration’s agenda and in defiance of Supreme Court orders.
The executive branch finds itself fending off endless counter-opinions from federal judges in the courtroom as it continues to implement its hard-line immigration policies. While the Trump administration has scored major victories in the nation’s highest court, including successfully reining in the scope of nationwide injunctions by federal judges, some have chosen to defy Supreme Court rulings.
U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb, an appointee of the Biden administration, blocked the Trump administration on Friday from using a process known as “expedited removal” to quickly remove illegal migrants from the country, according to court documents. The order could, at least for the time being, dramatically curtail the White House’s ability to carry out its deportation agenda.
In a public statement about the ruling, an administration spokesperson slammed the Biden-appointed judge, accusing her of defying a previous Supreme Court ruling.
CBS Discovers Social Security Time Bomb, Pushes More Taxes as Best Solution– www.newsbusters.org Source Link Excerpt:
Entitlement spending was the largest driver of America’s debt and the Social Security time bomb had been counting down for decades. Over the weekend, CBS News Sunday Morning stirred at the sound only to promote raising taxes as the most viable solution, dismissed investing the money, and completely ignored President Trump’s baby bonds which were already signed into law last month. Of course, they also decried Trump’s cuts to the Social Security Administration.
Kicking the stories off with the report by David Pogue, the first thing viewers were met with was a soundbite of former Biden Press Secretary turned MSNBC host Jen Psaki proclaiming: “Social Security recipients are dealing with an unbelievable amount of chaos.”
“Social Security has been getting a lot of attention lately — and not the good kind. The Social Security Administration was already at its smallest size in 50 years, when earlier this year, Elon Musk`s DOGE team cut another 14 percent of its employees — 7,000 people,” Pogue lamented.
Top economist warns the U.S. is ‘on the precipice of recession’ — and it will be hard for the Fed to come to the rescue– fortune.com Source Link Excerpt:
The shocking jobs report on Friday wasn’t the only red flag. Indicators from the past week paint an overall picture of an economy that’s headed for a downturn, according to Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi.
After months of looking remarkably resilient in the face of President Donald Trump’s tariffs, the economic outlook has suddenly turned gloomier.
“The economy is on the precipice of recession. That’s the clear takeaway from last week’s economic data dump,” Zandi wrote in a series of posts on X on Sunday. “Consumer spending has flatlined, construction and manufacturing are contracting, and employment is set to fall. And with inflation on the rise, it is tough for the Fed to come to the rescue.”
Payrolls grew by just 73,000 last month, well below forecasts for about 100,000. Meanwhile, May’s tally was revised down from 144,000 to 19,000, and June’s total was slashed from 147,000 to just 14,000, meaning the average gain over the past three months is now only 35,000.
A federal appeals court ruled the Los Angeles Unified School District and other government agencies could force workers to receive a COVID-19 jab as a condition of employment.
“On July 31, a full panel of the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned an earlier ruling from their colleagues, declaring now that the L.A. Unified School District (LAUSD) didn’t violate the constitutional rights of workers who were fired after they refused to get Covid shots,” Legal Newsline reports.
“So basically, the courts are now saying that gov’t is strong enough to constitutionally strip rights of citizens and force injection of gene altering serum, but it is not strong enough to have the authority to remove invaders,” said The Blaze Senior Editor Daniel Horowitz.

A federal appeals court on Friday paused a lower court injunction that had blocked the Trump administration from ending union bargaining rights for thousands of federal workers at 21 agencies.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit granted an emergency stay sought by the administration, putting on hold a preliminary injunction issued by District Judge James Donato in June in response to a lawsuit filed by the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and five other unions representing federal employees.
The unions sought to challenge President Donald Trump’s March 27 executive order, which aimed to eliminate collective bargaining rights for employees of government agencies with national security missions.
In a 15-page decision, the San Francisco-based Ninth Circuit panel stated that the government is likely to succeed on the merits of the plaintiffs’ retaliation claim, finding that Trump’s order does not, on its face, “express any retaliatory animus.”
“Even assuming that plaintiffs have made out a prima facie claim of retaliation, on this record the government has shown that the president would have taken the same action even in the absence of the protected conduct,” the judges stated.
Congresswoman Nancy Mace has officially entered the 2026 Republican gubernatorial race, unveiling a campaign video titled “Huge MAGA Announcement” on her campaign website and publicly declaring her intention to succeed term‑limited governor Henry McMaster.
“Nancy Mace launches her run for Governor of South Carolina!” according to the video posted on her website.
The firebrand congresswoman has already updated her X header to feature a photo with President Trump.

Mace is expected to officially enter the South Carolina governor’s race with a major announcement set for 7:30 a.m. Monday at The Citadel, according to ABC.
In a social media post, Mace said, “Something is broken in South Carolina. They said stay quiet, I spoke up. They said play nice. I fought back. They said sit down, and I stood up. Corruption, chaos, cowardess — I’ve seen it all. Get ready, South Carolina. This isn’t just a campaign, it’s a calling. You and me. God’s not done with South Carolina, and neither am I.”
President Donald Trump spent the last few months of his 2024 campaign promising to force taxpayers to foot the bill for a procedure that routinely destroys human life. His plans to pave the way for Americans to make “more babies” by subsidizing in vitro fertilization, however, are allegedly on hold.
The Washington Post reported that as of Sunday, Trump’s White House is allegedly “backing away from proposals discussed internally to mandate IVF coverage for the roughly 50 million people on the Obamacare exchanges.”
White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told WaPo that Trump “pledged to expand access to fertility treatments for Americans who are struggling to start families” and is still “committed like none before it to using its authorities to deliver on this pledge.” As of now, however, that goal reportedly does not include taxpayer-funded IVF.
WaPo’s chief economics reporter Jeff Stein painted the decision as “another apparent L from this admin for the conservative natalists.”
A recent YouGov poll sent a jolt through American politics: Zohran Mamdani, a 32-year-old Democratic Socialist from Queens, outperformed both former Governor Andrew Cuomo and incumbent Mayor Eric Adams in a hypothetical general election for New York City mayor. Nationally, 24 percent of Americans say they’d vote for Mamdani—more than Cuomo (9 percent) and Adams (8 percent) combined.
The numbers are more than symbolic. They reveal just how far trust in establishment leadership has collapsed—and how eager younger Americans around the nation are to embrace ideological clarity over managerial competence, charisma over experience, and revolutionary rhetoric over cautious reform.
Mamdani is not, by any traditional measure, a mainstream figure. His base includes young progressives, housing activists, and online socialist media. But the poll captures something deeper than his personal popularity: a profound disillusionment with a political class seen as ethically compromised, strategically adrift, and emotionally disconnected from the public it claims to serve.
This disaffection has real roots. Adams is mired in FBI investigations, plagued by ethical lapses, and widely criticized for inconsistent messaging and underperformance on housing and safety. Cuomo, meanwhile, carries the weight of pandemic-era mismanagement and personal scandal. These aren’t just flawed politicians—they’ve become cautionary tales for a generation fed up with failure.
Thanks to the new federal law defunding America’s biggest abortion business, Planned Parenthood has announced it will close two abortion centers in Ohio.
And the closings will take place even though a Democrat-appointed judge has blocked the federal defunding law.
In July, Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region announced the upcoming closure of its abortion centers in Springfield and Hamilton, which the abortion giant said was “a direct result” of the One Big Beautiful Bill that Congress passed and President Trump signed into law.
“Make no mistake: this was not a decision made by Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region,” said Nan Whaley, President & CEO of the abortion giant. “We took every possible step to keep these centers open, but the devastating impact of state and federal political attacks has forced us into this very difficult position.”
Planned Parenthood will close the centers this week.
Officials with the abortion business confirmed the centers are still closing despite the judge’s ruling because an appeal is expected and the law and its defunding components are expected to be upheld. Thus, if Planned Parenthood gets the tax dollars, there is a possibility it would have to repay them.
hite House economic advisers on Sunday defended President Donald Trump’s firing of the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, pushing back against criticism that Trump’s action could undermine confidence in official U.S. economic data.
Later on Sunday, Trump again criticized BLS Commissioner Erika McEntarfer, without providing evidence of wrongdoing, and said he would name a new BLS commissioner in the next three or four days.
U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer told CBS that Trump had “real concerns” about the BLS data, while Kevin Hassett, director of the National Economic Council, said the president “is right to call for new leadership.”
Hassett said on Fox News Sunday the main concern was Friday’s BLS report of net downward revisions showing 258,000 fewer jobs had been created in May and June than previously reported.
Trump accused McEntarfer of faking the jobs numbers, without providing any evidence of data manipulation. The BLS compiles the closely watched employment report as well as consumer and producer price data.
The BLS gave no reason for the revised data but noted “monthly revisions result from additional reports received from businesses and government agencies since the last published estimates and from the recalculation of seasonal factors.”
It’s that time of year! Time for a bunch of anachronistic hippies to go do drugs in the desert and set a giant statue on fire. Would any of us have imagined that the Burning Man attendees and staffers are a bunch of degenerates? A swamp witch was cast as Jesus Christ Superstar and we have video of the performance. Texas Democrats have fled the state to deny Republicans redistricting plans. Let’s take a walk down memory lane to see all the other times they’ve done this.
In an explosive new interview with former Congressman and Fox News host Trey Gowdy, CIA Director John Ratcliffe said more declassified documents are coming that expose the FBI’s coordinated effort to bury the truth and amplify a lie—all to interfere in the 2016 presidential election and destroy Donald Trump’s presidency.
Ratcliffe confirmed that he and current FBI Director Kash Patel are preparing to declassify additional records proving that the FBI actively suppressed a counterintelligence referral about Hillary Clinton’s plan to frame Trump while giving full legitimacy to the now-debunked Steele Dossier, paid for by Clinton herself.
According to Ratcliffe, foreign intelligence services had already flagged a plot by Hillary Clinton to smear Trump as a Russian agent, a scheme known internally as the “Clinton Plan.”
Yet this intelligence was never shared with Congress. Instead, it was buried, while Obama’s inner circle, including Biden, were fully briefed on it.
According to declassified materials already made public by Ratcliffe and former Special Counsel John Durham, the Clinton campaign not only greenlit the collusion hoax, but also coordinated with foreign groups including the Soros Foundation to build a disinformation war chest against Trump.
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has issued an executive order that will fully defund Planned Parenthood and any abortion business that would attempt to receive taxpayer funds.
Stitt has issued an executive order blocking Medicaid funds from entities and individuals affiliated with abortion businesses.
“Oklahoma is a pro-life state, and our policies should reflect that at every level of our government,” Stitt said in a news release. “We won’t allow tax dollars to indirectly subsidize and flow into the abortion industry under the guise of women’s health. My order makes sure every public dollar aligns with our values and supports providers who respect life at every stage.”
The executive order issued late Thursday directs the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) to terminate and refuse to renew any SoonerCare contracts with entities that perform, refer to or are affiliated with abortion services. SoonerCare is the state’s Medicaid program. This ensures that taxpayer dollars are not directed to abortion companies.
As my PJ Media colleague Stephen Green previously reported, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott had a blunt message for the Democrats who fled the state to sabotage a redistricting vote: “You’re fired.”
Abbott didn’t mince words, calling them “derelict Democrats” and vowing to take legal action if they refused to return, up to and including arrest, removal from office, and triggering special elections under a 2021 AG opinion. He also raised the possibility of felony charges for those accepting outside funds to dodge their $500-a-day absentee fines, calling it a potential violation of state bribery laws.
More than 50 Texas Democrats skipped town, staging a quorum break designed to grind the legislature to a halt. But where did they flee? To Illinois, a state that Democrats run, which is notorious for having some of the most blatantly gerrymandered congressional maps in the nation. That choice alone exposes the real story here.
These Democrats claim they’re fighting for “fair maps” and “voting rights,” but they ran straight to the state that’s made an art form out of silencing Republican voters through crooked gerrymandering. If this were really about principle, they’d be hiding out anywhere but Illinois. Instead, they sought political asylum in the capital of partisan redistricting.
Fleeing to Illinois, the most egregiously gerrymandered state in the country, to make as clear as possible this stunt is about partisanship not principle. Chef’s kiss. https://t.co/xsXRxFqPHypic.twitter.com/DmVcEmxan2
Texas Democrats have become famous, or infamous, depending on who you talk to, for cutting and running to try and stop Republican state lawmakers from passing legislation they don’t like, and history has repeated itself in 2025.
As RedState reported, Democrats there fled into the arms of Illinois Gov. and prospective 2028 presidential candidate JB Pritzker (D) on Sunday after Republicans unveiled a new Congressional map that some have called a “bloodbath” for Democrats headed into the 2026 midterms if enacted.
“We’re not walking out on our responsibilities; we’re walking out on a rigged system that refuses to listen to the people we represent. As of today, this corrupt special session is over,” Texas House Democratic Caucus Chair Gene Wu proclaimed in a statement.
Already, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) is laying the smack down on those who fled amid the special session, noting that consequences could soon be coming, including arrests on abandonment grounds and possibly appointing others to fill the vacancies created thanks to Democrats deliberately walking off the job.Though infuriating on one hand, on the other, you have to laugh at this stage in the game. I mean, as we pointed out, going to Illinois, which is home to one of the most corrupt and blatantly rigged Democrat political machines in the country, is not exactly the brightest idea these folks have had.
In a high-stakes WarRoom segment, Steve Bannon and investigative bulldog John Solomon laid out the case that the Hillary Clinton-led Russia hoax was never a conspiracy theory—it was an orchestrated political dirty trick that corrupted our intelligence agencies, weaponized the media, and nearly derailed the presidency of Donald J. Trump.
And the most explosive part? The key players did it again in 2020—and they’re positioning to repeat it in 2026.
“This isn’t about old news,” Bannon declared. “This is about a pattern of institutional abuse that, if unpunished, will finish off our constitutional republic.”
QUICK CLIP:
JOHN SOLOMON: If we don’t see action on the Russia collusion hoax, if we don’t punish the behavior that we now know exists,

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey has filed a lawsuit against Planned Parenthood Federation of America in a bold and necessary move to protect women and uphold truth. His charge argues that Planned Parenthood lies to women, and those lies are costing lives.
Bailey’s suit, filed under the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act, accuses the nation’s largest abortion provider of misleading Missouri women about the safety of the abortion pill mifepristone.
For decades, Planned Parenthood has marketed itself as a health care provider and a champion of women’s rights. But behind the pink logos and the slick messaging lies a profit-driven machine that has consistently downplayed the physical, emotional, and spiritual risks of abortion, including chemical abortion. Now, under legal scrutiny, that deception is receiving the pushback it deserves.
According to Bailey’s complaint, Planned Parenthood falsely equated Mifepristone to over-the-counter drugs like Tylenol, misleading women into believing that chemical abortion is a minor and routine procedure. In reality, the risks are anything but minimal.

A three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit killed California’s ammunition restrictions in July. They ruled that background checks for ammunition were unconstitutional, which opened the door.
And Californians did it right.
See, while they had to deal with an absolute headache in trying to buy ammo, including not being able to get it online at all, before the ruling. While there’s a stay in place, basically, and it sure as hell sounds like they did just that for the time they had.
Lifelong hunter J.R. Young of San Jose rushed to an online ammunition dealer last week after a federal court decision overturned a California gun law that required background checks in person at every point of sale.
“Is this freedom week?” he said. “I was just curious to see if this striking down of the law is allowing companies to ship into the state again.
“The way we live in society now — when we want to buy something, we don’t want to go and take a trip to the store.”
Many bullet junkies, hunters and gun enthusiasts like Young quietly celebrated the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that may or may not ultimately put a dent in the state’s strict policies for purchasing ammunition.
