On Tuesday, CBS released a preview of an interview that will air on “Sunday Morning” in which Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he was disappointed in Republican’s so-called “big beautiful bill,” heralded by President Donald Trump.

Musk said, “So, you know, I was like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not decrease it and undermines the work the DOGE team is doing.”

Correspondent David Pogue said, “I actually thought that when this big beautiful bill came along, I mean, like, everything he’s done on DOGE gets wiped out in the first year.”

Musk said, “I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don’t know if it can be both. My personal opinion.”

Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey — who really should be in prison, and if there’s any justice will be soon — seemed right at home with MSNBC’s Jen Psaki attacking Republicans as “white supremacist adjacent” after his little shell game was rightly denounced for the threat against President Donald Trump it represented.

In a grotesquely pandering interview more flaccid than Comey’s conscience, Psaki let the weaselly old Deep Stater do what he does best: lie. With the complicity of the former White House cover-up queen, Comey was given free rein to shrug off the violence implicit in his now-deleted “Cool shell formation” photo while shamelessly shilling his latest novel. Along the way, he worked his Comey over on a host of topics, taking aim at his political enemies like the conniving practitioner of politically weaponized justice he has long been. Not surprisingly, he saved much of his venom for the 47th president, whom, Comey is clearly “obsessed” with in a “weird way.”

The White House plans to send a small package of spending cuts to Congress next week, senior GOP officials told several House Republicans Wednesday.

The planned transmission of the “rescissions” bill, confirmed by two Republicans granted anonymity to describe the plans, comes after a long internal battle over how to formalize the cuts that have been made by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency initiative.

The package set to land on Capitol Hill is expected to reflect only a fraction of the DOGE cuts, which have already fallen far short of Musk’s multi-trillion-dollar aspirations. The two Republicans said it will target NPR and PBS, as well as foreign aid agencies that have already been gutted by President Donald Trump’s administration.

Speaker Mike Johnson said on X Wednesday that the House “is eager and ready to act on DOGE’s findings so we can deliver even more cuts to big government that President Trump wants and the American people demand.” He said the House “will act quickly” on a package without saying when it might be submitted or what it might contain.

The Trump Administration is expected to halt all student visa interviews and will expand its social media vetting, according to a State Department cable obtained by Politico.

The Trump Administration is escalating its fight against anti-American universities such as Harvard.

Politico reported:

The Trump administration is weighing requiring all foreign students applying to study in the United States to undergo social media vetting — a significant expansion of previous such efforts, according to a cable obtained by POLITICO.

In preparation for such required vetting, the administration is ordering U.S. embassies and consular sections to pause scheduling new interviews for such student visa applicants, according to the cable, dated Tuesday and signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

If the administration carries out the plan, it could severely slow down student visa processing. It also could hurt many universities who rely heavily on foreign students to boost their financial coffers.

“Effective immediately, in preparation for an expansion of required social media screening and vetting, consular sections should not add any additional student or exchange visitor (F, M, and J) visa appointment capacity until further guidance is issued septel, which we anticipate in the coming days,” the cable states. (“Septel” is State Department shorthand for “separate telegram.”)

Despite national efforts to make biology a reality again, many states, including California, have not received that memo. This is why Trump said what needed to be said.

Trump has threatened to cut federal funding to the Golden State if officials don’t get their act together and make sports sane again, as a trans track athlete has been allowed to dominate the women’s division and plans to attend CIF finals this weekend.

High school junior AB Hernandez is a trans track athlete. Or, in other words, he’s a man. It’s unclear if he would have been capable of fairly competing against those with the same chromosomes as him, but you do the math. Nonetheless, she (he) had previously vowed to stick to the haters by stealing titles away from girls who had dedicated so much time to the sport. He has since made good on that promise with the help of state athletic officials, who have turned a blind eye to the integrity of the game.

This was all done despite national efforts to make gender great again, which is why Trump is now threatening to cut federal funds from the state if they don’t do what is morally and biologically correct.

According to the New York Post:

Trump also warned that he will order “local authorities, if necessary, to not allow” a transgender athlete to compete in the state finals this weekend. The threat comes ahead of a planned phone call with Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

“California, under the leadership of Radical Left Democrat Gavin Newscum, continues to ILLEGALLY allow ‘MEN TO PLAY IN WOMEN’S SPORTS,’” Trump grumbled on Truth Social Tuesday.

“THIS IS NOT FAIR, AND TOTALLY DEMEANING TO WOMEN AND GIRLS. Please be hereby advised that large scale Federal Funding will be held back, maybe permanently, if the Executive Order on this subject matter is not adhered to.”

On May 20, the Supreme Court granted Maine Rep. Laurel Libby’s application for an injunction pending appeal, which means she will again be allowed to vote in the Maine legislature as her case proceeds.

In February, a male athlete identifying as female won the Maine state championship in girls’ pole vaulting. Libby posted on social media that the athlete had previously competed in the male division and placed fifth.

Libby stated that it was unfair for male athletes to compete against females due to their intrinsic athletic advantages.

House Speaker Ryan Fecteau asked Libby to remove the post, but she refused, saying, “I won’t apologize for speaking the truth and defending our women and girls in Maine that are being discriminated against.”

She was then censured, with a resolution passing by a 75-70 party-line vote to remove both her right to vote and right to speak in the Maine House of Representatives.

Former Dept. of Ed. official praises action to ensure federal funding helps American students in need, not illegal immigrants

A visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation praised the U.S. Department of Education’s decision to revoke waivers from California and Oregon universities which allowed them to use federal education funds to assist illegal immigrant college students.

The purpose of the Performance Partnership Pilots for Disconnected Youth program is to help students with disabilities and low-income students obtain a college education. However, the Biden administration allowed universities in California and Oregon to divert the funds to illegal immigrants, according to a department news release. Under the previous administration, TRIO programs could extend benefits to “illegal aliens.”

The waives have since been revoked, drawing praise from Adam Kissel, a visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation and former deputy assistant for higher education programs in the first Trump administration.

“President Biden’s Department of Education was extremely lawless,” Kissel told The College Fix via email. “The current administration is bringing the rule of law back to federal education policy and programs.”

Private universities with large endowments are fretting over a provision in the House-passed “big, beautiful” bill that would significantly raise the tax rate on their annual investment income.

House Republicans’ proposal would raise the tax rate on certain universities’ endowment profits from 1.4% to 21%, a move that could add hundreds of millions of dollars to their annual tax liability. Universities whose massive endowments provide billions of dollars of wealth at their disposal are warning that failure to strike the proposal from President Donald Trump’s sweeping tax and spending package would deal a “devastating” blow to their operating budgets. (RELATED: House Republicans Put Ivy League’s Massive Endowments On Chopping Block)

“This is a devastating piece of legislation for us,” Swarthmore College vice president for finance and administration Robert Goldberg told the Wall Street Journal. “It takes something that’s fairly manageable to something that’s not tenable.”

GOP lawmakers have defended placing colleges’ endowments in their crosshairs, arguing that universities are no longer fulfilling their core mission and instead operate more like hedge funds rather than prioritizing the education of students. Additionally, congressional Republicans allege that many of the universities that would be subject to a higher tax on their endowment earnings allowed antisemitism to fester on their campuses during the Biden administration.

A chilling alert has emerged from Japan after a major autopsy study found that people who died suddenly of an unexpected cardiac arrest after receiving Covid mRNA booster “vaccines” have tiny “micro-scars” in their hearts.

The study found that the previously undetected scarring was caused by repeated mRNA injections.

Researchers warn that difficult-to-detect damage is responsible for global surges in sudden death in the absence of overt ischemic heart disease.

The peer-reviewed autopsy study was led by Japanese cardiologist Dr. Tomomi Koizumi and pathologists Dr. Masao Ono.

The findings of the study were published in the journal JACC: Case Reports.

Koizumi and Ono investigated the presence of cardiac multiple micro-scars (MMS) in three elderly patients who died of unexplained cardiac arrest.

The official White House health report of former President Joe Biden before his cancer diagnosis has been revealed.

The new health report, which Fox News obtained, did not show Biden had any signs of aggressive prostate cancer during his presidency.

In his 2021, 2023, and 2024 health reports, doctors did not report any signs of prostate cancer in Biden.

However, towards the end of his presidency, he was scheduled to receive a White House health check-up but missed the appointment due to a busy schedule.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor wrote in his report, “President Biden remains a healthy, vigorous, 78-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief.”

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced Tuesday that the COVID-19 vaccine was removed from the recommended immunization schedule for healthy children and pregnant women.

Kennedy was flanked by FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary and National Institutes of Health Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya when he said he “couldn’t be more pleased to make the announcement.” This comes years after Kennedy founded the Children’s Health Defense, which challenges vaccination among children amid scrutiny of side effects.

“Last year, the Biden administration urged healthy children to get yet another COVID shot despite the lack of any clinical data to support the repeat booster strategy in children,” Kennedy said. “Now we’re one step closer to realizing President Trump’s promise to make America healthy again.”

North Korea, much like China and Russia in recent weeks, issued a scathing rebuke on Tuesday of President Donald Trump‘s pursuit of his Golden Dome missile defense system.

Trump has made the Golden Dome — a comprehensive air defense system that, once operational, will be able to intercept various missiles fired from land, sea, and space — a signature of his military policy early in his second term in office.

North Korea‘s foreign ministry said that Trump’s plan is the “height of self-righteousness, arrogance, high-handed and arbitrary practice, and is an outer space nuclear war scenario supporting the U.S. strategy for uni-polar domination with the preemptive establishment of the outer space-based military substructure, not a ‘defensive measure’ to cope with the ‘threat’ from someone.”

The ministry accused the U.S. of being “hell-bent on the moves to military outer space,” while claiming that the plan for the Golden Dome, as outlined by the Trump administration, “is also the expression of another attempt to militarize outer space coming from the past strategies for dominating outer space and the epitome of revealing the criminal past of the U.S. which plunged the whole world into the nightmare of the outbreak of a nuclear war.”

Bottom line: it’s common sense and it’s good science. We are now one step closer to realizing [President Trump’s] promise to Make America Healthy Again.”

Conservative and pro-life groups are again asking the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate five aborted babies found near a Washington, D.C. clinic in 2022 now that President Donald Trump is back in office.

Nine organizations sent a letter Tuesday to U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro sounding the alarm about pro-life activists’ discovery of the bodies in containers from the Washington Surgi-Clinic. Some of the babies discovered were so large that they brought suspicion of illegal partial-birth or post-birth abortions, and the Biden administration only prosecuted those who protested at the clinic in 2020.

“In 2022, pro-life activists in Washington, D.C., discovered possible violations of the Partial-Birth Abortion Act and the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act,” reads the letter from Advancing American Freedom, Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, Students for Life, Concerned Women for America, Family Research Council, Live Action, Human Coalition, Catholic Vote and American Family Association.

This is an update to a story we have been following since last year. Just another bad media cycle for Harvard.

WGBH reports:

In extremely rare move, Harvard revokes tenure and cuts ties with star business professor

Harvard University has stripped a world-renowned scholar of her tenure status. The university’s top governing board, the Harvard Corporation, decided this month to revoke Francesca Gino’s tenure and end her employment at Harvard Business School.

Gino, who was celebrated for her research on honesty and ethical behavior, had faced scathing allegations of academic misconduct and fraud.

Several sources tell GBH News that Harvard administrators notified business faculty of their decision during a closed-door meeting this past week, and a university spokesperson confirmed the move. Gino did not immediately respond to several requests for comment.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is already a particularly unpopular mayor, one who could very well lose the Democratic primary for next year’s election. He’s been doing himself absolutely no favors lately, including when it comes to how he commemorated the Memorial Day weekend.

From his Instagram account on Sunday, Mayor Johnson very enthusiastically wished his close to 40,000 followers a “Happy Africa Day,” which was celebrated on Sunday. The clip has also been circulating on X for the holiday weekend.

If you’re going to take money away from Harvard University, it’s probably worth reallocating it to places where people can learn some real skills that don’t involve critical race theory or decolonialist readings of Dickens.

You know, like trade schools, where you can learn something useful.

That seems to be the plan from President Donald Trump, who announced via a Truth Social post on Memorial Day that he would be reallocating the money he had frozen in grants or contracts to Harvard and putting it toward America’s most overlooked educational institutions.

“I am considering taking Three Billion Dollars of Grant Money away from a very antisemitic Harvard, and giving it to TRADE SCHOOLS all across our land,” Trump wrote.

“What a great investment that would be for the USA, and so badly needed!!!”

The South African president rejected President Donald Trump’s assertion that the South African communist leader who leads chants about killing white farmers should be arrested.

President Cyril Ramaphosa met with President Trump last week in the White House, where he firmly denied the existence of a genocide or even targeted killings of white South African farmers known as the Boers.

‘It’s not meant to be a message that elicits or calls upon anyone to go and be killed.’

During their meeting, Trump suggested to Ramaphosa that the South African government should arrest Julius Malema, a political leader who has led chants of “shoot the Boer” and “shoot to kill” to a stadium full of supporters.

Upon returning to South Africa, Ramaphosa spoke to reporters about the idea of arrests and asserted that his country is a sovereign nation with its own laws and processes. He also excused the racist chants as freedom of expression.

“The IOC Executive Board recommendation from March 2023 with regard to teams of athletes with a Russian passport remains in place,” an IOC spokesperson said, according to a report. “It is based on the fact that, by definition, a group of Individual Neutral Athletes cannot be considered a team.”

Affirmation of a continued ban, which began as part of sanctions imposed on Russia following its 2022 invasion of Ukraine, arrives after International Ice Hockey Federation President Luc Tardif was quoted as saying the IOC had planned to exclude Russia and its star-studded hockey team from next year’s games.

“We have been pressuring them to make a decision, one way or another, because we’re getting closer to the Olympics and we need to know,” Tardif said.

“Recently, they asked us to send them a schedule without Russia, so that’s where we are. The official statement is pending but the IOC has told us that they are informing the Russian Olympic Committee that they are not participating in the Olympics.”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Tuesday that Russia and the White House have agreed to a prisoner swap, according to NBC News.

Lavrov did not provide any additional details as to the nature or persons involved in the swap in his remarks during multilateral negotiations involving Russia, Turkey, the U.S. and Ukraine in Istanbul, Turkey, according to NBC News. The deal would be the second such swap in as many months, as Russian-American woman Ksenia Karelina was released in April after being imprisoned on treason charges in exchange for Russian national Arthur Petrov.

The exchange comes in the backdrop of stalled negotiations between the U.S., Ukraine and Russia to end the three-year war. In light of the slow-moving talks, President Donald Trump has reportedly become frustrated with Putin, and has considered implementing new sanctions against Moscow, a number of unnamed sources told The Wall Street Journal Tuesday.
