The U.S. government has banned American government officials in China from any romantic or sexual relationships with Chinese citizens.

The new policy was implemented by departing U.S. Ambassador Nicholas Burns in January.

The policy is the first “non-fraternization” policy issued by a U.S. agency since the Cold War.

A female fencer is being penalized by USA Fencing for refusing to compete against a biological male opponent, saying that her stand will “at least for a moment, destroy my life” but needed to be taken.

Fox News reports that 31-year-old Stephanie Turner, who previously made a point of trying to evade tournaments in which she would have to face “transgender” fencers, found herself up against gender-confused male Redmond Sullivan at the Cherry Blossom Open in Maryland. She learned about the matchup the night before and made her decision how to handle it then.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeing a stunning spike in new agent applications under its new director, Kash Patel — signaling that confidence in federal law enforcement may be on the mend.

According to internal data reviewed by Fox News Digital, the FBI received 5,577 new agent applications in March, the first full month with Patel at the helm. That figure nearly doubles the monthly average since 2016 and marks the highest number of submissions in nearly a decade.

The last comparable surge came in April 2016, when the bureau logged 5,283 applications. By contrast, the average in 2023 was 2,797 per month. Even in early 2024, before Patel took office, the average monthly tally sat at just 3,383.

“Director Patel and Deputy Director (Dan) Bongino have put a major emphasis on restoring confidence in federal law enforcement and boosting new agent recruiting,” FBI spokesman Ben Williamson told Fox News Digital on Wednesday. “These record early returns certainly suggest the new FBI is heading in the right direction.”

Agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations arrested a U.S. citizen after he allegedly posted detailed death threats online against ICE agents and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Threats against ICE and other federal agents from radical leftists have risen in recent months as the Trump administration does everything in its power to carry out mass deportations now that the border crisis is over.

In its announcement, the HSI Dallas field office said Robert King’s “terroristic threats” against ICE agents and Noem were “alarming” because they included intentions to “open fire” if he saw agents in his neighborhood.

‘We gave you a visa to come and study and get a degree — not to become a social activist that tears up our university campuses.’

In response to another online video where the TikTok user appeared to make a self-defense case for shooting ICE agents, Noem vowed that clear and direct threats against law enforcement will not be tolerated.

Two of the world’s largest automakers announced on Thursday that they are offering America First deals on new vehicles for customers or making production changes while seeking to take advantage of President Donald Trump’s new tariffs on foreign-assembled vehicles.

For the next several months, Ford will be touting a “From America, For America” deal, which will offer new customers the chance to purchase vehicles at employee pricing, potentially knocking thousands of dollars off the going rate.

Steve Croley, the company’s chief policy officer, told “Fox & Friends” that Americans deserve a break for going out of their way to buy American-made cars.

“We’re going to offer customers the same deal that our employees get. That’s worth thousands of dollars,” he told host Brian Kilmeade.

“We’ve heard some uncertainty from our customers and we want them to be assured that Ford, the most American auto company, is going to do right by them, as are our dealers. We make the most cars here, we employ the most, we export the most, and so we here at Ford, we’re in a good position to address customers’ concern and give them a really great deal on a great vehicle,” he added.

Ford Motor said on Thursday that it was lowering prices on most of its vehicles to the same levels it charges employees in a bid to boost sales as President Trump’s tariffs on imported cars took effect.

The tariffs began on Thursday on vehicles imported from Mexico, Canada, Japan, Germany and other countries. The duties — 25 percent of the value of the vehicle in most cases — are expected to increase prices of new cars and trucks and dampen demand.

About half the vehicles sold in the United States each year are produced in other countries. Mexico is the top source of those cars and Canada is among the largest. For three decades, the United States, Canada and Mexico have had a free-trade zone, and automakers have moved parts and vehicles freely among the three countries.

Ford’s new program, which the company is calling “From America, for America,” could help reduce a large inventory of unsold cars. In February, Ford had more cars in inventory as measured by how many days it would take to sell them all than all but three other brands — Jaguar, Mini and Dodge — according to Cox Automotive, a research firm.

General Motors is the latest automobile company to respond to President Donald Trump’s newly implemented auto tariffs, announcing it will be ramping up production in Indiana.

The shake-up for GM, known for brands such as Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC, will bring about an uptick in production at its plant near Fort Wayne, Indiana, which is known for producing Chevrolet’s Silverado 1500 and GMC’s Sierra 1500. The increase in productivity will also extend to hiring hundreds of temporary employees.

“General Motors will be making operational adjustments at Fort Wayne Assembly, including hiring temporary employees, to support current manufacturing and business needs,” a spokesperson for the automaker said in a statement. “We continuously update and revise production schedules as part of our standard process of evaluating and aligning to manage vehicle inventory.”

On Tuesday, thousands of staffers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta received early morning emails asking them to resign. The centers affected included those working on reproductive health, chronic disease, occupational safety, birth defects, smoking, tuberculosis, asthma and air quality, accidental and intentional injury, and prevention of violence and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.

“It’s a blood bath this morning,” one CDC employee messaged me. Several others told me that their entire departments had received the letters. It wasn’t immediately clear whether everyone who had received the notices would ultimately be laid off.

“I regret to inform you that you are being affected by a reduction in force (RIF) action,” the letters stated. “After you receive this notice, you will be placed on administrative leave and will no longer have building access beginning Tuesday, April 1, unless directed otherwise by your leadership.” This action follows the announcement last week, by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to cut 10,000 employees from the agency. “This overhaul will be a win-win for taxpayers and for those that HHS serves,” Kennedy said in a statement. “That’s the entire American public because our goal is to Make America Healthy Again.”

Yet the staffers I talked to weren’t convinced that the cuts would improve public health or efficiency—on the contrary, they said they worried that government efforts to improve the lives of Americans would be undermined.

Despite the best efforts of the Democrats and their corporate media allies to land a glove on President Donald Trump, their “Signal-gate” campaign has failed to put a dent in his popularity.

A new poll from CBS News found Trump’s approval rating holding strong at 50%.

The poll was taken after the anti-Trump “news” outlet The Atlantic published its story about the administration’s leaked Signal chats.

Notably, most Americans told CBS that they do believe the Signal breach is “serious.”

However, it hasn’t impacted Trump’s popularity.

His overall job rating is split down the middle at 50-50.

According to POLITICO, nine Planned Parenthood state affiliates that receive federal money from the 55-year-old Title X family planning program received a letter on Monday announcing that their funding is being “temporarily withheld” for “possible violations” of federal civil rights law and President Donald Trump’s executive orders — including prohibitions on the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Funding is also being withheld, according to the article, because the organization “overtly encourages illegal aliens to receive care.”

(LifeSiteNews) — Pride comes before a fall – and as some major companies rethink previous “woke” policies, the corporate gravy train LGBT activists have relied on to fund their activism has finally begun to slow.

According to NPR, both Anheuser-Busch – famous for beer brands like Beck’s and Budweiser – and the telecoms giant Comcast have both pulled funding from San Francisco Pride. Anheuser-Busch has also ended their sponsorship with St. Louis Pride.

They aren’t the only ones. Diageo, the beverage company responsible for Johnny Walker, Smirnoff, and Guinness has pulled support from San Francisco Pride, as has Jackson Family Wines (which includes La Crema Wines). Meta, the tech giant that includes both Facebook and Instagram, has also reportedly pulled funding from San Francisco Pride.

Significantly, a number of those companies have been attempting to distance themselves from wokeness after spending years wrapping themselves in the rainbow flag. Mark Zuckerberg of Meta announced earlier this year that he was reintroducing free speech to Meta’s social media platforms and began by removing many of the restrictions around LGBT debates (and had the tampon dispensers removed from the male washrooms at Facebook’s headquarters).

The Daily Caller’s Reagan Reese posted on X that President Donald Trump’s administration will pause $210 million in federal funding to Princeton:

The funds are being paused while the admin investigates antisemitism on campus. The decision is not the culmination of the investigation, an official shares.

“Princeton has perpetuated racist and anti-semitic policies,” an admin official told the Caller.

The investigation opened dates back to Biden. Biden’s Department of Education opened an investigation in 2024 following a Civil Rights complaint from Zachary Marschall, the editor-in-chief of the conservative website Campus Reform.

Marschall alleges in his complaint that the university failed to respond to campus anti-Semitism. The complaint alleges that at an Oct. 25, 2023, walkout in which students supported Palestine, they chanted “Brick by brick, wall by wall, apartheid has got to fall.”

That money comes with ‘hidden agendas,’ Rep. Baumgartner says

Higher education institutions would be required to report as little as $1 in funding from China under legislation that passed the U.S. House on Thursday.

The Defending Education Transparency and Ending Rogue Regimes Engaging in Nefarious Transactions Act would close loopholes that U.S. Rep. John Moolenaar says the Chinese Communist Party is using to “infiltrate and influence our academic institutions.”

“The passage of the DETERRENT Act is a powerful response to China’s aggressive attempts to use financial leverage to undermine our universities and national security,” the Michigan Republican (pictured) stated in a news release.

“This legislation enhances transparency, closes dangerous loopholes, and holds institutions accountable for their dealings with foreign adversaries like the CCP,” Moolenaar stated. He chairs the House Select Committee on China.

The legislation, which now heads to the U.S. Senate, would lower universities’ “foreign gift reporting threshold from $250,000 … to $0 for countries of concern like China,” the news release states. For other countries, the threshold would be $50,000.

58 percent of Americans approve of the Trump administration’s program to deport illegal immigrants who are in the US. Support for Trump’s deportation efforts has held steady in recent weeks, as Americans remain generally supportive of Trump’s plans to carry out immigration policies he proposed while running for president.

The vast majority of Americans agree that federal judges should be allowed to review Trump’s policies, however. This comes as several judges have implemented legal roadblocks that have hindered the Trump administration from carrying out its desired deportation efforts. While 59 percent of Republicans support impeaching federal judges who rule against Trump’s policies, most Democrats and Independents oppose such actions.

British MP Changes Her Mind, Will Vote Against Assisted Suicide Bill– www.lifenews.com

Naz Shah, a Labour MP who originally supported assisted suicide is opposing the Kim Leadbeater assisted suicide bill. The UK assisted suicide bill passed at second reading by a vote of 330 to 275. The bill was debated in committee where there were 393 proposed amendments with only 32 of the amendments accepted.

Shah is one of many MP’s who support assisted suicide in principle but are opposing the bill. Opposition to the bill may be the reason why Leadbeater, the sponsor of the bill, recently stated that, if passed, implementation of the assisted suicide bill would be delayed until 2029.

David Maddox, the Political Editor for The Independent, wrote an article that was published on March 30. Maddox explains why Shah is opposing the assisted suicide bill:

A Labour MP who had originally been inclined to vote in favour of Kim Leadbeater’s assisted dying legislation has claimed that the bill now has weaker safeguards than when MPs voted on it in November.

Naz Shah spoke to The Independent in the wake of the laborious and, at times, tetchy committee stage of the controversial bill being completed in parliament last Wednesday.

The Bradford West MP, who served on the committee scrutinising the bill, had hoped that safeguards could be strengthened to make it workable but now claims the legislation is “fundamentally flawed”.

Maddox further reports on why Shah opposes the assisted suicide bill

…Ms Shah has said she is “very disappointed” and “disheartened” with the direction taken after hopes they could ensure the safeguards were robust.

She revealed: “Kim [Leadbeater] is a friend and when she first told me about the bill I was inclined to vote for it. But the more I looked at the details, the more concerns I had.”

Top among these were concerns over the way people who suffer from domestic abuse and have disabilities could potentially be coerced into ending their lives early. As someone who had suffered previously from domestic abuse in a forced marriage, these issues were important to her.

Ms Shah also made headlines during the process when she was forced to leave a session because her hearing aid batteries had run flat. An attempt to push through amendments had seen the session extended despite pleas from Ms Shah that she could not take part.

The mega law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP has made peace with President Trump before it was targeted by an executive order.

“Over the past few days, we learned that the Trump Administration intended to issue an executive order directed at Skadden,” London wrote. “We believed it would focus on DEI initiatives and our pro bono activities.”

“With that in mind, we chose to engage proactively and constructively with the Administration to align on a productive path forward without the issuance of an executive order,” he wrote. “We entered into the agreement the President announced today because, when faced with the alternatives, it became clear that it was the best path to protect our clients, our people and our Firm.”

“Not everyone will agree with the decision we made today, and I have great respect for the different views that make us stronger as a Firm,” he wrote. “But I firmly believe that an agreement centered around our pro bono work and complying with the law was an acceptable outcome to ensure Skadden will continue to thrive long into the future. This agreement does not change who we are.”

In a post on Truth Social, President Trump revealed the terms of the agreement.

Today, President Donald J. Trump and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP announce the following agreement regarding a series of actions to be taken by Skadden:

1. Skadden will provide a total of at least $100 Million Dollars in pro bono Legal Services, during the Trump Administration and beyond, to causes that the President and Skadden both support, in relation to the following areas: Assisting Veterans and other Public Servants, including members of the Military, Law Enforcement, First Responders, and Federal, State, and Local Government Officials; ensuring fairness in our Justice System; and combatting Antisemitism. Skadden will change its pro bono policy so that all pro bono moving forward will be done in the Firm name. A pro bono Committee will be constituted to ensure that pro bono matters are consistent with the objectives of the program, and that pro bono activities represent the full political spectrum.

2. The Skadden Foundation will commit to the mission of providing pro bono Legal Services to a wide variety of deserving organizations and individuals. Skadden is committed to funding no fewer than five Skadden Fellows each year dedicated to the following projects: Assisting Veterans; ensuring fairness in our Justice System; combatting Antisemitism, and other similar types of projects. Law Graduates that receive Skadden Fellowships will represent a wide range of political views, including conservative ideals.

3. Skadden affirms its commitment to merit-based hiring, promotion, and retention. Accordingly, the Firm will not engage in illegal DEI discrimination and preferences. Skadden will engage independent outside counsel to advise the Firm to ensure employment practices are fully compliant with Law, including, but not limited to, anti-discrimination Laws.

4. Skadden will not deny representation to clients, such as members of politically disenfranchised groups, who have not historically received legal representation from major National Law Firms, including in pro bono matters, and in support of non-profits, because of the personal political views of individual lawyers.

Statement From the White House: “Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP approached President Trump and his Administration, and declared the Firm’s strong commitment to ending the Weaponization of the Justice System and the Legal Profession. The President will never stop fighting to deliver on his promises of eradicating partisan Lawfare in America, and restoring Liberty & Justice for ALL.”

Statement From Skadden Executive Partner, Jeremy London: “Skadden is pleased to have achieved a successful agreement with President Trump and his Administration. We engaged proactively with the President and his team in working together constructively to reach this agreement. The Firm looks forward to continuing our productive relationship with President Trump and his Admin. We firmly believe that this outcome is in the best interests of our clients, our people, and our Firm.”
