President Donald Trump has worked ardently to bring an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine — a war that has resulted in millions of casualties and transformed much of Eastern Ukraine into drone-netted wasteland.

Fresh off brokering a tenuous ceasefire in Gaza and speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House on Friday.

‘They should stop where they are. Let both claim Victory, let History decide!’

At least 34 arrests, ranging from terroristic threats to assault, were made during what some are calling the “mostly peaceful” nationwide “No Kings” protests Saturday, reports say.

Millions of demonstrators filled the streets of major U.S. cities to protest President Donald Trump and his administration, according to multiple reports. Most of the violence broke out near Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities, a frequent target for left-wing unrest and threats since midsummer.

David Cox of New York was charged Friday night with making terroristic threats and threatening mass harm after allegedly telling a gas station employee he planned to firebomb ICE agents at the protest, ABC 7 News reported.

There certainly was no shortage of … entertaining progressive activists at this past Saturday’s various “No Kings” rallies. However, two particular activists arguably went way overboard.

At a Chicago-area rally, elementary school teacher Lucy Martinez was caught on video mockingly making a gesture akin to being shot in the neck, mimicking how Charlie Kirk was assassinated. The Daily Mail reports Martinez’s antics ultimately led to Nathan Hale Elementary School shutting down its website and social media presence.

“These barbaric monsters who committed these crimes against innocent children should NEVER have been in our country in the first place.”

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on Monday arrested illegal immigrants throughout the country who they described as “worst of the worst.” These are men who have been convicted for sex crimes against children and other serious counts but have still been resiging in the US, despite their illegal status.

Among those arrested by ICE are Mariano Yanez-Conejo, of Mexico; Humberto Perez-Vasquez, of Guatemala; Jose Rigoberto Lopez-Aguilar, of El Salvador; Rafael Penaloza-Cabrera, of Mexico; and Jose Ortiz-Jacobo, of Mexico. Each of these have been convicted of vile behavior against children.

Democrats have sworn up and down for years that we didn’t need legislation like the SAVE Act to clean up our voter rolls. “It’s already against the law for illegal immigrants to vote,” they argued.

They also insisted illegal immigrants weren’t voting in elections.

But that thing that never happens happened again.

The Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee votes on a package of six bills Wednesday that will make it possible for pregnant Pennsylvania women to kill their unborn babies up to birth. It will also turn Pennsylvania into an abortion tourism destination, allowing women from states with stronger pro-life rules to kill their babies in Pennsylvania with no legal entanglements.

Currently Pennsylvania bans abortion after 24 weeks (six months), though even then state law makes an exception “when the pregnancy poses a serious health risk or threatens the life” of the mother.

The main legislation is HB 1957, which aims to amend the Pennsylvania Constitution, making abortion a state constitutional right. HB 1957 would have to be approved by voters on a statewide ballot, and the committee hearing is the first step in that long process to amend the state constitution. First it must be approved in committee, then it moves to the House. The Pennsylvania House has a slight Democrat majority over Republicans, 102-101, so there is a good chance the constitutional amendment (and the entire six-bill package) will be approved by the committee and could pass the House.

A young man who filmed a video threatening ICE agents and then tried to lie his way out of it is about to learn the hard way that there are consequences.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, teenage-looking individuals went on TikTok last week. They decided to piggyback off reports of bounties that have been issued against ICE agents trying to enforce our immigration laws.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries apparently thinks taking a stand for federal employees and service members means calling a bill that does exactly that, a “political ploy.”

Senate Majority Leader John Thune placed the Shutdown Fairness Act on the calendar, and it should come up for a vote as the shutdown enters its fourth week. The measure would provide backpay and ongoing wages to military servicemembers and essential federal workers who have not been furloughed. Seems like something Democrats should jump on because they claim to support our troops and federal workers. But a reporter asked him whether he would encourage his Democratic colleagues to support the legislation, Jeffries dismissed the bill as inadequate.

“It’s my understanding that that is not a comprehensive bill that actually is designed to reopen the government, while at the same time, addressing the issues that need to be confronted on behalf of the American people, which include lowering the high cost of living and decisively addressing the Republican healthcare crisis,” Jeffries said. The minority leader’s response signals that Democrats remain dug in on their demands for a broader package that includes extensions of Affordable Care Act tax credits, which are set to expire at the end of the year.

During the No Kings protest in Ann Arbor, Michigan, a flyer was passed out that included demands such as dismantling ICE and the Supreme Court. The flyer stated that if the demands are not met, “disorder will be without parallel in modern times.”

The flyer stated at the top in all caps, “everything comes to a head. We draw up the terms. We arrange the time and the date. Your people. And our people. We have demands. In no uncertain terms, the following conditions must be met, or hostilities will continue, and they will escalate.”

Former FBI Director James Comey, whose visceral hatred of President Donald Trump remains palpable, now has the unmitigated gall to ask a federal judge to dismiss the Justice Department’s case against him because of, as his legal team claims, “vindictiveness” and Trump’s “personal animus” against him.

Comey was indicted on September 25 on charges of making a false statement and obstruction of Congress. Specifically, the charges are for allegedly lying to Congress during a 2020 Senate hearing focused on the FBI’s investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia.

Pretty rich, huh? Comey’s personal animus against Trump is legendary. During his legal pursuit of the president, the disgraced former FBI head took lawfare to a whole new level.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise put Sen. Jon Ossoff on blast at a press conference Tuesday, accusing him and fellow Senate Democrats of refusing to reopen the government as a campaign fundraising tool and out of fear of their base of support.

“It truly is fear, fear of their own party’s base that has driven the Democrats, especially in the Senate, to shut down the government,” Scalise, R-La., told reporters. “It’s a calculated decision, and the continued votes, including yesterday, to keep the government shut down, has been a direct result of the fear Democrats continue to have of their own party’s base.”

In Boulder, Colorado, women can abort their child into the third trimester of pregnancy.

RISE Collective, an abortion clinic, opened its doors in October and is offering late-term abortions up to 34 weeks’ gestation, just six weeks shy of the average delivery time.

“At RISE Collective, we believe that any reason you have for needing abortion care is yours—and it is the right one,” the facility’s promotional video states.

RISE, standing for Reproductive Health, Inclusive Care, Support, and Empowerment, opens after abortionist and founder of Boulder Abortion Clinic Dr. Warren Hern retired earlier this year. The late-term abortion clinic operated for more than 50 years before closing its doors. Now, former Boulder Abortion Clinic staff work at RISE Collective.

No Kings protesters in Broadview, Illinois, were seen over the weekend celebrating a child smacking and stabbing a piñata depicting President Donald Trump — a move Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) said is how “assassination culture takes root.”

The protesters were outside of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Broadview. According to reports, a man offered a stick to protesters to bash the piñata.

“Sir, do you want to swing?” he asked, trying to find someone in the crowd willing to hit the figurine.

Finally, a child took the stick and can be seen in the video smacking and stabbing the Trump piñata.

FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Every day the Democrat government shutdown drags on, it becomes more difficult for President Donald Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency to maintain certain critical operations, a spokesperson told The Daily Signal.

“The Trump EPA is committed to protecting the environment and ensuring America has the cleanest air, land, and water in the world while growing our economy, but Democrats are content to allow our funding to run out,” a spokesperson said. “They are preventing us from securing funding needed to continue these important programs and impeding our ability to deliver clean air, land, and water for Americans.”

Blurb:

While the Dems are out there pretending that the shutdown has everything to do with Republicans and nothing to do with them, the evidence speaks loud and clear. This is why Speaker Mike Johnson said what everyone already knows to be true.

According to Johnson, the Dems are terrified of their “radical base,” which is why they are keeping the government shut down. That tells you all you need to know about the left’s priorities — which is that they don’t intend to represent you.

The reason the government is shut down is that they are demanding free healthcare for illegal aliens — despite their claims otherwise. So, if they are horrified at upsetting people, it would go without saying that the radical base they are beholden to might not be what you would call a “legal citizen.”

According to NJ Media:

Johnson opened the news conference just after 10 a.m. Tuesday, saying the U.S. is now in “Day 21 of the Democrat shutdown.”

“It’s now three weeks since the Democrats decided to shut down the federal government,” Johnson said. “And yet again, Senate Democrats voted to prolong the pain and keep the government closed.

“So far what this shutdown has caused to the people of this country is really unconscionable and the U.S. economy has now lost hundreds of billions of dollars. We have federal workers who are desperate for pay and uncertain the they will get their next paycheck.”

In my Oct. 2 article for The Federalist, I detailed a chilling 2,500 percent spike in indexed internet content pairing “Trump” with “fascist” over the past 10 years, with the biggest surge happening since mid-2024. This spike in dangerous rhetoric is evidence of a left-wing effort to dehumanize conservatives as existential threats.

From Hillary Clinton likening Trump’s rallies to Nazi gatherings to Kamala Harris branding him a “fascist” threat to democracy, the language has poisoned discourse and, as we’ve seen, inspired real-world harm — including assassination attempts on Trump and the recent murder of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk by a radical immersed in anti-Trump echo chambers.

The trend of the late night hosts devolving from comedians into DNC talking heads continued on Monday as they gushed over the weekend’s No Kings protestors. According to them, the size of the crowds should discredit the idea they were actually quite radical.

On The Late Show, CBS’s Stephen Colbert excitedly wondered, “Do you feel that? Do you feel the vibe? It’s electric in here. You can feel the energy in this room because these folks are still high from the No Kings rally this weekend. That was beautiful! It’s a beautiful sight to see. On Saturday, 7 million people turned out in over 2,700 events in all 50 states.”

  • Prominent universities like Dartmouth, Carnegie Mellon, and Yale have applied for H-1B visas for various DEI roles, raising concerns about the appropriateness of such hires under the visa’s intended purpose.
  • Experts, including National Association of Scholars’ editor Jared Gould, supported Schmitt’s view by stating that DEI roles are bureaucratic and not technical, and should not qualify for H-1B visas, which are intended for high-skill occupations.

The “No Kings” protests over the weekend exposed the dark and disturbing underbelly of the Democrat’s anti-Trump movement, despite remaining “mostly peaceful” by day.

Many of the demonstrators proudly and openly wished death upon President Donald Trump and/or approved of the assassination of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk.

The protesters were overwhelmingly white, elderly, and malinformed.

In Chicago, a woman was filmed mocking the assassination of Kirk by making a finger gun gesture toward her neck and laughing.

More than eight in 10 Americans support policies that would require documented proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in U.S. elections, according to a Gallup poll conducted just two weeks before the 2024 presidential election. But a well-funded campaign by leftist “voter rights” groups is lobbying hard to mute the voices of the 83 percent.

The Election Assistance Commission’s comment period on a petition asking the agency to require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote is in its final hours. Comments are due by the end of Monday. Visit the federal rulemaking portal here to comment.

New York City is on the cusp of voting in Zohran Mamdani, a young democratic socialist and New York State Assembly member, as its next mayor. As of now, he is the clear front-runner. Recent polls show him leading with about 45% support, far ahead of rivals like independent Andrew Cuomo at 25%.

The promise of “free” everything has blinded many struggling New Yorkers into pledging their support for the Muslim communist, but Sara Gonzales, BlazeTV host of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered,” warns that this is bound to end in a far bigger disaster than most of us realize.

An illegal migrant posted a twisted TikTok video offering $10,000 to anyone who killed an ICE agent — and the feds later found him with a loaded gun, officials said.

For many years now, CBS News’ 60 Minutes has served as a clear-cut example of left-wing media propaganda. So, it wasn’t completely shocking when the program ran to a discredited ex-Justice Department official to trash the Trump administration amid its ongoing legal battles.

This past weekend’s episode included a sit-down interview with Erez Reuveni, who served as acting deputy director for the Office of Immigration Litigation until early April, when he was suspended and subsequently fired for failing to “zealously advocate on behalf of the United States” in court, according to Attorney General Pam Bondi. As The Federalist previously reported, his dismissal purportedly centered around his conduct in the DOJ’s efforts to deport Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a credibly accused wife-beater and MS-13 gang member.

ANALYSIS: A questionable label for one who opposes ‘gender-affirming care’ for minors

The Illinois State University student paper recently reported on an ISU Young America’s Foundation/College Republicans event featuring Chloe Cole, a “detransitioner” who speaks out against so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors.

For that, The Vidette Editor-in-Chief Vivi Hughes referred to Cole as an “anti-trans activist,” and included a “content warning” at the top of her article regarding “transgender discrimination” and “explicit language.”

The College Republicans said the event’s purpose was to “remind our liberal university that transgenderism is a dangerous ideology, especially for children.”

Over 2,500 Muslims have been charged with “public order” offences in India for openly expressing their love of the Prophet Muhammed. During the last month, Indian police have reportedly raided homes and public spaces to arrest Muslim men suspected of writing “I Love Muhammed” on posters, t-shirts and social media. Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s Hindu Nationalist party launched the blitz of prosecutions, which has seen some perpetrators’ homes bulldozed, to the end of clamping down on threats against “public order”.

At least 22 cases have been brought against over 2,500 Muslims in the South Asian country, with at least 40 arrested across states governed by the Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the non-profit Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) said. The slew of arrests was sparked by the erection of an illuminated board paying tribute to Muhammed while Muslims were observing Eid al-Milad al-Nabi, the celebration of his birth, in the city of Kanpur on September 4. Dozens were pursued on charges of promoting enmity on the grounds of religion in the historic region, an offence which carries a sentence of up to five years in jail.

China poses a daily threat to Britain’s security, the head of the country’s domestic intelligence agency said on Thursday, remarks that step up pressure on authorities to explain why the prosecution of two men charged with spying for Beijing collapsed just before they were due to stand trial.

The government, opposition politicians and prosecutors have traded blame over the failed criminal case as the United Kingdom tries to balance between challenging and engaging with the Asian superpower.

“Do Chinese state actors present a UK national security threat? The answer is of course yes they do, every day,” MI5 Director General Ken McCallum told reporters during a rare public appearance on Thursday.
