Nearly two-thirds of Democratic voters say their party needs new leaders as frustration grows over its priorities and plummeting approval ratings, a new poll shows.

Sixty-two percent of Democrats say that the party’s leaders “should be replaced with new people,” compared with just 30 percent of Republicans who said the same about their party leaders, according to the Reuters/Ipsos survey published Thursday.

Nearly half of Democrats—49 percent—are “unsatisfied” with party leaders, while 41 percent say they are “satisfied” and 10 percent are unsure, the poll found.

The poll was released on the same day that news broke of intraparty backlash against Democratic National Committee chairman Ken Martin, with DNC members telling Politico that Martin is “weak,” “whiny,” and “invisible.” Earlier this week, powerful American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten quit her DNC role in protest of the party’s direction under Martin, leading Rep. Mark Pocan (D., Wis.) to tweet that he would “love to have a day go by” without the DNC doing “something embarrassing & off message.”

A so-called judge has once again subverted the rule of law and potentially endangered the public due to hatred of President Trump.

As The New York Times reported, a federal judge ordered the Trump administration on Friday to release pro-Hamas student activist Mahmoud Khalil on bail. At this time, he is the only ‘major’ anti-Israel agitator demonstrator in America remaining in confinement.

U.S. District Judge Michael Farbiarz, an appointee of Joe Biden, issued the ruling.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Farbiarz ruled that the Trump administration could not deport Mahmoud Khalil, who was a graduate student at Columbia University before being detained.

Back in March, The Gateway Pundit reported that Trump’s ICE agents arrested Khalil, who led anti-Israel protests at Columbia and Barnard College.

He was set to be deported after being detained and taken into custody by ICE. The State Department had also issued an edict revoking his student visa and green card.

But U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman, an Obama appointee, slammed the brakes on the Trump administration’s efforts to deport Khalil.

The roughly 30 graves containing artifacts and treasures represent the era’s entire social hierarchy spectrum, according to an announcement by the Moesgaard Museum. The findings include a gold-threaded box, pearls, coins, ceramics, and even a pair of scissors likely owned by an important noblewoman of the time. The box itself is a particularly remarkable find, as experts believe it’s only the third confirmed example of its kind. Human remains such as bones and teeth were also found at the site along with smaller, less ornate graves that possibly held an elite family’s enslaved workers.

“Together, they paint the picture of an aristocratic environment that was linked to royal power, and which was part of the Vikings’ vast and dynamic world,” Kasper Andersen, a Viking Age historian at Moesgaard, said in a statement.

Archeologists speculate the burial site is probably related to a nobleman’s farm located less than 0.65 miles away. That find, discovered in the 1980s, may have belonged to an earl or steward of King Harald Bluetooth—a legendary figure in his own right.

The son of King Gorm the Old, Harald ruled over Denmark and Norway from around 958–986 CE and allegedly earned his nickname from a conspicuously colored tooth. More importantly, he is remembered for spreading Christianity across Denmark, as well as consolidating power over the regions of Jutland and Zealand.

ROME — ROME (AP) — Pope Leo XIV warned Friday that artificial intelligence could negatively impact the intellectual, neurological and spiritual development of young people as he pressed one of the priorities of his young pontificate.

History’s first American pope sent a message to a conference of AI and ethics, part of which was taking place in the Vatican in a sign of the Holy See’s concern for the new technologies and what they mean for humanity.

In the message, Leo said any further development of AI must be evaluated according to the “superior ethical criterion” of the need to safeguard the dignity of each human being while respecting the diversity of the world’s population.

He warned specifically that new generations are most at risk given they have never had such quick access to information.

“All of us, I am sure, are concerned for children and young people, and the possible consequences of the use of AI on their intellectual and neurological development,” he said in the message. “Society’s well-being depends upon their being given the ability to develop their God-given gifts and capabilities,” and not allow them to confuse mere access to data with intelligence.

No matter how much left-wing agitators want to riot to oppose enforcing immigration law, the American people still support Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers and deporting illegals.

That is the takeaway from a new Harvard/Harris poll taken in the middle of the Los Angeles anti-ICE riots that have been excused by Democrat leadership like city Mayor Karen Bass and Gov. Gavin Newsom.

In fact, 80 percent of respondents in the poll support a plan to deport criminal illegal aliens, which clocks in at the second most popular overall policy proposal (of 15) after lowering prescription drug prices for the elderly and low-income Americans. When asked more specifically if respondents favored what the Trump administration is doing to achieve the deportations, 74 percent agreed, including 57 percent of Democrats and 75 percent of independents.

The fifth most popular policy proposal is closing “the border with added security and policies that discourage illegal crossings,” with 67 percent support.

The day after immigration raids began in Los Angeles, Rep. Norma Torres (D-Pomona) and three other members of Congress were denied entry to the immigrant detention facility inside the Roybal Federal Building.

The lawmakers were attempting an unannounced inspection, a common and long-standing practice under congressional oversight powers.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said too many protesters were present on June 7 and officers deployed chemical agents multiple times. In a letter later to acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, Torres said she ended up in the emergency room for respiratory treatment. She also said the protest had been small and peaceful.

Torres is one of many Democratic members of Congress, from states including California, New York and Illinois, who have been denied entry to immigrant detention facilities in recent weeks.

James Townsend, director of the Carl Levin Center for Oversight and Democracy at Wayne State University in Michigan, said the denials mark a profound — and illegal — shift from past practice.

Illegal aliens have got to go. I know you know this, but for those who think these people should say—cough* liberals cough*–they’re now attacking federal officials. United States Attorney John A. Sarcone III of the Northern District of New York escaped a knife attack from a deranged illegal alien from El Salvador who chased Mr. Sarcone through Albany. He was able to seek refuge in a Hilton lobby, where the assailant, Saul Morales-Garcia, continued to shout at Sarcone but later retreated. The US attorney then called the police, later walking back onto the street to get Morales-Garcia’s attention; Sarcone feared he’d kill an innocent bystander if he were allowed to slip away.

Morales-Garcia then turned around and charged at Sarcone again. By then, the police had arrived, and order was brought to the situation—a knife was recovered at the scene. Police say Sarcone’s actions to keep Morales-Garcia occupied with him probably saved lives (via DOJ):

Tuesday June 17, after leaving his office in downtown Albany, United States Attorney John A. Sarcone III was the victim of a life-threatening incident.  Saul Morales-Garcia, an illegal alien from El Salvador, who entered the United States in 2021 after a prior deportation, lunged at Sarcone while brandishing a knife and yelling aggressively in a foreign language Sarcone could not readily identify.  Sarcone ran to the lobby of the Hilton Hotel and Morales-Garcia stopped and still shouting in a foreign language turned and started to walk away.  Sarcone immediately contacted Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple Sr.  Sarcone went back to the street and maintained a safe distance and yelled out to Garcia-Morales to gain his attention to prevent Morales-Garcia from disappearing as Sarcone believed an innocent person would be killed by Morales-Garcia.  Before law enforcement arrived, Morales-Garcia charged at Sarcone again screaming and yelling at Sarcone in a foreign language while wielding the knife to make a slitting-the-throat gesture at Sarcone. Sarcone again ran to the lobby of the Hilton where again Morales-Garcia stopped, turned and began to walk away but was apprehended when Sheriff’s deputies arrived.   Morales-Garcia was taken into custody and the knife was recovered.

Sarcone was physically unharmed, but emotionally rattled and stated, “I felt an obligation to the public as the chief Federal law enforcement officer in the district that includes the city of Albany.  I feared for my life but I couldn’t let this individual harm and potentially kill others.”

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple said: “U.S. Attorney John Sarcone’s selfless actions likely saved lives.”

Morales-Garcia was charged with attempted second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and menacing in the second degree and remanded without bail.  He made an appearance in Albany City Court yesterday and an order of protection was issued for Sarcone. Morales-Garcia may also face federal charges; the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigations are involved in the ongoing investigation.

Despite facing a proverbial “perfect storm” with recession fears, stock market volatility, and talk of tariffs — all multiplied by constant media attacks — recent polling data shows that more Americans view the Republican Party as being better equipped to handle the economy compared to the Democratic Party.

The public as a whole sees the GOP as relatively effective.

It’s true that for decades, Democrats were widely seen as the party of the middle class. In 1989, they held a significant 23-point advantage on the question of which party best represented middle-class interests. But that has all changed.

A May 2025 CNN/SSRS poll shows Republicans with a 7-point lead when people are asked which party is closer to their economic views. In a different poll, conducted by Reuters/Ipsos, asking which party has the better economic plan, the GOP lead grew from +9 in May 2024 to +12 in May 2025, signaling increased confidence in Trump’s economic leadership during his second term.

Unless you’re still at home hiding from COVID under a blanket and isolated from the real world, this shouldn’t be a surprise. And yet, CNN hosts were completely baffled when reporting on the issue — another sign that today’s Democratic Party is completely disconnected from the average American.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been a political fixture in the Golden State since the late 1990s, first serving on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors from 1997 to 2004 before serving as mayor of San Francisco from 2004 to 2011. After that, he was elected as California’s Lieutenant Governor, a position he held for eight years until he was sworn in as the state’s Governor in January 2019.

He’s term-limited out now, with the next gubernatorial election to be held in 2026. Though there are murmurings about whether former Vice President Kamala Harris will jump into the growing field of contenders, Newsom’s focus is not on speculation about the candidates nor endorsements. Instead, he is rumored to have his eye on the ultimate prize for an entrenched, ambitious politico: the presidency of the United States.

“This was not really a speech about California, which, based on his record, he seems to care little about—this was his first real salvo in the ’28 presidential elections,” my colleague Bob Hoge wrote in response to the disastrous, lie-filled speech Newsom gave amid the LA riots. “He knows he’s watching his chances go up in smoke like an electric vehicle in downtown Los Angeles, and this was his desperate attempt to right the ship.”

According to the data, nearly one million illegals have self-deported and gone back to their home countries where they belong since Donald Trump was elected to the White House for Trump 2.0.

You might remember way back in the neolithic age of 2012 that Mitt Romney was destroyed for saying that if the federal government tightened up immigration policies, many illegals would leave the U.S. voluntarily… i.e., would “self-deport.” Liberals blasted him for this claim.

Now that Donald Trump has finally been able put the idea into action, we find that Mitt– who was rarely right — actually hit that one on the head. So far, about a million illegals have gone home.

Per the New York Post:

One way to track the program is by checking employment numbers. One financial wiz cited by the Wall Street Journal calculated a decline in the immigrant population of 773,000 in the first four months of Trump II.

The Washington Post claims “a million foreign-born workers have exited the workforce since March.” The Post frames this as “a sign of the weakening labor supply.” Yet the paper also notes, “Average hourly wages accelerated, rising by 0.4 percent over the month, to $36.24 in May, as earnings continue to beat inflation in a boost to workers’ spending power.”

In other words, with fewer illegal immigrants, businesses had to raise wages to attract workers.

A parents’ rights group is asking the Trump administration to investigate the YMCA for possible violations of federal law for allowing men who identify as women into women’s locker rooms and, in several instances, allowing them to expose their naked bodies to women and girls.

“I write to file a formal complaint against the YMCA of the USA (“YMCA”) for engaging in unlawful gender-based discrimination in its programs and policies,” Alleigh Marré, the executive director of the American Parents Coalition, wrote in a letter on June 10 to the secretaries of the departments of Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, and Education.

The letter follows news reports that indicated the national YMCA organization had issued guidance as far back as 2017 recommending that biologically male campers and staff be allowed to use the cabins and bathrooms “aligned with their gender identity” at YMCA camps.

The letter then goes on to outline how individual YMCAs had implemented those policies.

In April, a mother and her young daughter were exposed to a naked man in a women’s locker room at a local YMCA in Kansas City, Missouri. The individual in question reportedly said something along the lines of “Honey, I’m a woman,” when the girl’s mother inquired why he was in the locker room.

That YMCA told WDAF-TV in Kansas City that “individuals are allowed to use the locker room or restroom that they identify with,” but that “members are asked to wear a towel, wrap, or other clothes at all times.”

At least 28 powerful U.S. Air Force tankers—including KC-135R Stratotankers and KC-46 Pegasus jets—were seen crossing the Atlantic en masse Sunday night, according to Daily Mail citing open-source aircraft tracking platforms.

The fleet’s mysterious deployment comes as tensions between Israel and the terrorist regime in Iran spiral dangerously toward all-out war.

The massive airborne refueling convoy appears to have launched from multiple air bases across the continental United States, heading toward Europe.

According to military aviation outlet The War Zone (TWZ), this kind of large-scale tanker deployment is “very peculiar” and not tied to any routine exercises.

More from TWZ:

Open-source enthusiasts took to social media after all the tankers began popping up on flight tracking software.

At its peak, it appeared that at least 28 tankers were all heading east. While there is a multinational exercise in Norway that is about to kick off, that wouldn’t require anything like this level of relocation of refueling assets.

There is no other apparent exercise or commitment that would necessitate such an operation.

Pressure to regulate AI, fueled by apocalyptic prophecy and long-held animosity of tech giants like billionaire Elon Musk, is building within MAGA, and it might be enough to get something done in Congress.

AI-generated images, ranging from muscle-bound depictions of President Donald Trump to memes portraying the president’s opponents as communists, have become a hallmark of online conservatism over the past few years.

Percolating in the background, however, has been a resistance to AI technology, rooted in the conservative movement’s skepticism of Big Tech. Criticism of AI on the right ranges from relatively mundane concerns over AI’s potential ability to defame to warnings that AI has a role to play in the end times.

Central to the concern of right-wingers is the concept of the AI “singularity” — the name for the hypothetical point at which AI becomes able to improve itself, leading to an uncontrollable cascade of advancements in the technology — and Musk, who often features prominently in right-wing critiques of AI for his influence in the Trump administration, a 2014 interview where he predicted that “with artificial intelligence we are summoning the demon” and for his longtime social media profile, in which he sported armor bearing the Sigil of Baphomet.

“If you listen to the four horsemen of the apocalypse — Dario, Musk, Altman… they talk right now about the Big Bang, that this is the Big Bang time for artificial intelligence,” former Trump adviser Steve Bannon said on a recent episode of his podcast, “War Room.” “As sure as the turning of the Earth, this is going to be the most fundamental radical transformation in all human history, going back to the absolute beginning,” Bannon continued, “and what you have is the most irresponsible people doing it for: one, their own efforts for eternal life, because they do not believe in the underlying tenants of the Judeo-Christian West; and also money and power. It must be stopped.”

Over 230 people are reported dead across Israel and Iran since Israel launched its first strikes on Friday, leading to an ongoing exchange of attacks with no end in sight.

On Sunday night, emergency responders were still struggling to contain fires started by strikes on the northern port city of Haifa.

In Haifa, an oil refinery was damaged, the firm operating it said. Israel’s main international airport and airspace was closed for a third day.

Iran raised its death toll on Sunday to 224 people. Health authorities also reported that 1,277 were wounded, without distinguishing between military officials and civilians.

Claiming to operate almost freely in the skies over Iran, Israel said its attacks Sunday hit Iran’s Defence Ministry, missile launch sites and factories producing air defence components. Iran also acknowledged Israel had killed more of its top generals, including the Revolutionary Guard intelligence chief, Mohammad Kazemi.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the Mullahs are looking for an off-ramp, burning up the backchannels to try to get the United States to bail them out.

Iran has been urgently signaling that it seeks an end to hostilities and resumption of talks over its nuclear programs, sending messages to Israel and the U.S. via Arab intermediaries, Middle Eastern and European officials said.

In the midst of a ferocious Israeli air campaign, Tehran has told Arab officials it would be open to returning to the negotiating table as long as the U.S. doesn’t join the attack, the officials said. Iran also passed messages to Israel saying it is in the interest of both sides to keep the violence contained.

I’m not sure if what’s left of the Iranian leadership doesn’t understand how negotiations work, but they probably should have taken them seriously before Israel began its military operation to destroy their nuclear program. It took only three days for the IDF to establish air superiority over Tehran, and they are now bombing regime targets with impunity. That includes the launchers being used to shoot missiles at Israel. Once that threat is minimized, the Mullahs will have nothing left to respond with.

President Trump opposed a recent Israeli plan to kill Iran‘s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, three U.S. officials told CBS News on Sunday.

The Israelis had the opportunity to assassinate Khamenei and Mr. Trump conveyed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that it wasn’t a good idea, one U.S. official told CBS News. They said the conversation between Netanyahu and Mr. Trump happened since Israel launched a massive attack on Iran last week.

Mr. Trump’s rejection of the proposal was first reported by Reuters.

A senior U.S. official told CBS News on Saturday that there has been no direct contact between the U.S. and Iran. An Israeli official in Washington, D.C., told CBS News on Saturday that there is regular contact between the U.S. and Israel, with leaders having spoken Monday, Thursday and Friday.

During an interview with Fox News’ “Special Report with Bret Baier” on Sunday, Netanyahu did not directly confirm or deny Reuters’ reporting when asked about it.

“There’s so many false reports of conversations that never happened and I’m not going to get into that,” he said. “But I can tell you I think we do what we need to do. We will do what we need to do and I think the United States knows what is good for the United States and I’m just not going to get into it.”

It seems quiet. If you just look around day to day in the United States, it would appear that life is moving along and the American people are tolerating the second presidency of Donald Trump.

There is no unrest in the streets of America’s cities and small towns. There is no violence. In fact, what we were told before the election could happen, that society would instantly disintegrate, hasn’t happened.

Many in the media who ran Biden off of the Democratic ticket and then bent the knee to Trump looked around at what must be disappointment.

The media, like Trump, were banking on chaos and fear to bring eyeballs back and revive their business after four years of struggle under Joe Biden.

Donald Trump needed chaos and fear to serve as a pretext for the consolidation of power within the executive branch. The media needed chaos and fear to get their audience back.

Hours after the shooting of two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses, prominent conservative influencers spun unsubstantiated theories that the suspect was a left-wing extremist who targeted the Democratic-aligned leaders for voting against party lines, and did so with the blessing of the state’s top Democrat, Gov. Tim Walz.

Authorities said a man posing as an officer shot state Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette in their home early June 14, and then shot and killed state Rep. Melissa Hortman, a former Democratic speaker, and her husband Mark in their home a few miles away.

Authorities soon identified the shooting suspect as 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter of Green Isle, Minn. And conservative influencers, including Benny Johnson, Rogan O’Handley and Mike Cernovich pounced — surfacing what they floated as an incriminating connection between Boelter and the governor.

Walz, the former Democratic vice presidential nominee, reappointed Boelter in 2019 to a state board focused on Minnesota’s workforce. But we found no evidence that Walz and Boelter were closely acquainted nor any evidence that Walz was in any way linked to the shootings, which he described as an “unspeakable tragedy” and “targeted political violence.”

After a decade of Donald Trump being on the national political stage, it is clear to all observers that Trump is incapable of being a decent or normal human being.

Any president after the horrific shootings of State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Democratic State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife would show empathy, compassion, and leadership by condemning political violence.

Donald Trump used the shooting to attack Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Trump told ABC’s Rachel Scott, who posted on X:

On Minnesota – I asked the president about the assassination and whether he plans to call the state’s democratic governor @Tim_Walz

“Well, it’s a terrible thing. I think he’s a terrible governor. I think he’s a grossly incompetent person. But I may, I may call him, I may call other people too,” the president said.

“Daily Show” host Jon Stewart lashed out over ABC’s decision to fire longtime correspondent Terry Moran after a biased, anti-Trump outburst during a recent installment of his “Weekly Show” podcast.

Moran was fired earlier this week after referring to senior Trump advisor Stephen Miller as being “richly endowed with the capacity for hatred” in a since-deleted X post. The post was made in reference to President Trump’s decision to deploy National Guard personnel in order to combat multiple days of anarchy that had gripped Los Angeles.

“He’s a world-class hater. You can see this just by looking at him because you can see that his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate,” the now former ABC correspondent ranted. “Trump is a world-class hater. But his hatred only a means to an end, and that end his his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment.”

Stewart was not happy with ABC’s decision to fire Moran, stating that the network is a “f***ing joke” for the move. “The entire thing is because ABC clings to this facade that they somehow exist in a bubble,” Stewart said Thursday on his podcast.

As President Donald Trump rallied the troops to Washington, DC on June 14—the date of the US Army’s 250th anniversary, Flag Day, and his birthday—millions of his constituents joined in the nationwide “No Kings” march.

It was a conflicting, polar day in America. In one city, a parade costing tens of millions of dollars was complete with robot military dogs walking down the street, the president being serenaded by a crowd singing Happy Birthday, and thousands of Army service members marching in rows. In a city just North of DC, at the flagship No Kings rally in Philadelphia, an estimated 80,000 people called out chants that have become familiar since 2016, like “Hey-hey! Ho-ho! Donald Trump has got to go!” and ones befitting the protest, like “Let freedom ring! We don’t want a king!”

Nearly 3,000 miles away in Los Angeles, police shot stun grenades and rubber bullets, and used tear gas, on a group of demonstrators protesting the Trump administration’s attacks on immigrant communities. The offensive from police who claimed they were attempting to disperse the crowd came hours before the 8 o’clock curfew that part of downtown was placed under by Mayor Karen Bass.

According to the survey, 58 percent of Americans believe the court is not politically neutral.

The majority of Americans do not view the Supreme Court as a politically neutral institution, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll.

According to the survey, only 20 percent of respondents said they believe the court is politically neutral. A majority, 58 percent, said it is not, while the remainder either did not know or declined to answer. Among Democrats, 74 percent said the court is not politically neutral, while 54 percent of Republicans said the same.

The poll, conducted last week among 1,136 adults, comes as the Supreme Court has made a number of controversial rulings in recent memory. Over the past few years, the court has handed down decisions that have generated sharp reactions across the political spectrum, including the overturning of Roe v. Wade, expanding Second Amendment protections, rejecting the use of race in college admissions, and blocking some Trump administration efforts on immigration enforcement.

Public favorability toward the Supreme Court has also declined. The poll found that 44 percent of respondents currently view the court favorably. Among Republicans, that number stands at 67 percent, compared to just 26 percent of Democrats. In late 2021, 57 percent of Americans held a favorable view of the court, but that figure dropped to 43 percent by June 2022, shortly after the court struck down Roe v. Wade.

A Democratic North Carolina state representative ignited volcanic backlash after calling for the assassination of President Donald Trump on the same day that a Minnesota politician and her husband were assassinated.

On Saturday, Rep. Julie von Haefen posted a photo on social media showing a protester gleefully holding a flagpole banner with a grisly image of a bloody guillotine at the anti-Trump “No Kings” protest in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The banner bore the words, “In these difficult times, some cuts may be necessary.” The flagpole was flanked by two prop decapitated heads, one of which resembled Trump.

The other severed head had a Nazi swastika carved into its forehead. As a reminder, Democrats routinely attack Trump and other conservatives as “Nazis.”

The horrific image essentially called for Trump‘s assassination — an appalling incitement to violence considering he was nearly assassinated twice last year.

The wife of suspected political assassin Vance Boetler is being detained and questioned after police recovered a weapon, cash and passports in her car during a traffic stop on Saturday morning. Federal and state law enforcement agencies are continuing to search for the gunman accused of gunning down Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and wounding State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette.

Jenny Boetler was stopped by police while driving in a car with several relatives near Onamia, Minnesota, late Saturday morning around 10 a.m., local outlet KTSP reported. A witness reported seeing about a dozen law enforcement vehicles converging on the scene, where they stayed for more than three hours.

Sources told the outlet that the vehicle contained a weapon, ammunition, cash and passports. The report further stressed that no arrests have been made and that the vehicle’s occupants are only being detained for questioning as of this report.
