Congress recently poured $20 billion into FEMA’s disaster relief fund and enabled the agency to draw on the funds with greater ease, reported the Associated Press.

President Joe Biden has suggested that Congress might have to approve additional funding for disaster relief. The total funding made available for this program in fiscal year 2024 was $650 million. The funding total in fiscal year 2023 was $363.8 million. Hundreds of millions were previously awarded by FEMA for migrants through the emergency food and shelter program.
Earlier this year, nearly $19.6 million in FEMA funds was used to pay for an illegal alien welcome center in San Diego County.
In response to Mayorkas turning out empty pockets, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) wrote, “This is easy. Mayorkas and FEMA — immediately stop spending money on illegal immigration resettlement and redirect those funds to areas hit by the hurricane. Put Americans first.”

The convictions include other crimes such as assault (62,231), robbery (10,031), sexual assault (15,811), weapons offenses (13,423), and dangerous drugs (56,533).
About 7.4 million noncitizens are in the “national docket data,” so 662,776 is 9% of the total, and if one extrapolates the numbers to the homicide rate in this country, it strongly indicates that the government is letting migrants into this country who commit murder at a rate 50% higher than the rest of the U.S. population.
And these numbers clearly underestimate the crime rate of these noncitizens. The noncitizens in the “national docket data” turned themselves in to border agents for processing or were caught. Those who don’t turn themselves in are obviously far more likely to have something to hide from those doing the processing, so-called “gotaways,” who are observed illegally entering the U.S. but not caught or turned back.

US President Joe Biden has deployed an additional 1,000 active-duty soldiers to bolster aid efforts in the south-eastern US, after the region was pummelled by Hurricane Helene.
These soldiers will join the 6,000 National Guard members and 4,800 federal aid workers already fanned out across six states hit by extreme weather.
At least 175 people are now known to have been killed by Hurricane Helene, one of the deadliest storms to hit the US in recent times.
Hundreds of others remain missing, with search and rescue teams struggling to reach remote areas.
Aid deliveries have been made by airdrops and mules. The US government has said the clear-up effort could take years.
Biden is due to visit the badly-affected North Carolina and South Carolina states, while Vice-President Kamala Harris goes to neighbouring Georgia.
Both happen to be key swing states in November’s presidential election – and the storm has already becomepolitical after Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump took his own trip to Georgia earlier in the week.
Helene hit the US on Thursday as a Category 4 hurricane – the most powerful on record to strike Florida’s Big Bend – before tearing through neighbouring states and downgrading to a tropical storm.

In Tennessee, state authorities are investigating the operator of a plastics factory where 11 workers were swept away by rushing floodwaters on Friday. Five of the employees were rescued. Two have been confirmed dead and four more remain missing.
Impact Plastics told CBS in a statement it had monitored weather conditions around its Erwin plant in north-eastern Tennessee, and dismissed employees “when water began to cover the parking lot and the adjacent service road, and the plant lost power”.
But in interviews with local outlets, employees said they were allegedly told to continue work in the factory until it was too late for a safe exit.
Jacob Ingram, a mold changer at the factory, filmed himself and four others waiting for rescue as vehicles and debris were carried away by the muddy water surrounding him.
“I was working at impact when the storm hit yesterday,” Mr Ingram wrote in a post on Facebook, adding he and 11 others were trapped on the back of a semi-truck. “I’m lucky to be alive.”

Smith told WRAL News he started the operation when he couldn’t get in touch with his daughter and her mother. He drove 18 hours from Texas to find his family, ultimately getting on a private helicopter to be reunited with them.
Using privately-owned helicopters and volunteer pilots, Savage Operations is using 150 volunteers to deliver supplies to people trapped and isolated in the mountains. Already 500,000 pounds of supplies have been delivered.

As reported by Just The News, the transcripts show that President Trump ordered officials to “do whatever it takes” to protect the Capitol on the day that the electoral votes for the 2020 election were being certified, out of fear of protests against the suspicious and probably fraudulent election results.
The transcripts were recorded during interviews with top government officials in the aftermath of January 6th by the Pentagon’s inspector general. One of the key witnesses was Mark Milley, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. During his interviews, Milley admitted that during a meeting on January 3rd, President Trump had already approved the use of the National Guard and active-duty troops to maintain law and order in the nation’s capital on the 6th.
“The President just says, ‘Hey look at this. It’s going to be a large amount of protesters coming here on the 6th, and make sure that you have sufficient National Guard or Soldiers to make sure it’s a safe event,’” Milley recalled to the inspector general. Milley then said that Christopher Miller, who was acting Secretary of Defense at the time, assured the president of security plans for that day: “Miller responds by saying, ‘Hey, we’ve got a plan, and we’ve got it covered.’ And that’s about it.”
Later in the same interview, Milley again confirmed that President Trump was the one who insisted on higher security.
“It was just what I just described, which was, ‘Hey, I don’t care if you use Guard, or soldiers, active-duty soldiers, do whatever you have to do,” Milley continued. “Just make sure it’s safe.”
However, when Miller was interviewed by the inspector general, he confessed to refusing to use additional security for fear of political repercussions.
“There was absolutely — there is absolutely no way I was putting U.S. military forces at the Capitol, period,” said Miller at the time. The former acting secretary went on to say that officials instead utilized an interagency process to come up with an alternative plan that would delegate some DC National Guard troops to the job of directing traffic, but not to actually guard the Capitol; this proposal was suggested by Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D-D.C.).
“The operational plan was this, let’s take the D.C. National Guard, keep them away from the Capitol,” Miller explained. “Let’s put — the request, it wasn’t my request, Bowser and her Metropolitan Police Department were like ‘Let’s put D.C. National Guard on traffic control points and at the Metro stations to free up credentialed law-enforcement officers that can go out and arrest people.’”
The transcripts of the interviews were released by House Administration Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.). The town of Springfield, OH became a battleground in the planvasion battles, with reports of a flood of Haitian “migrants” (20,000) being sent to the 60,000 person town at first trickling through social media, only to catch fire when it was alleged the Haitians were eating the cats and dogs. President Trump and VP Candidate Vance both brought attention to these claims, both being “debunked” by DNC-CCP leaders like appointed avatar Kamala Harris and MSM information terrorists like Dana Bash.
Now, reports have come out that reveal these allegations are based on what the townsfolk themselves have been claiming, but the officials seem to dismiss their allegations even when they DO call into the police. The town’s Mayor, City Manager, and Police Department all denied the allegations, but, again, evidence is beginning to mount that says otherwise. It is not clear whether the reports from the citizens are true, however it is now clear that all of the officials knew of the claims yet lied to the MSM to protect the party, the DNC-CCP, over serving their constituents.
The accusation the President and the VP Candidate were spreading fake news was important because 30 bomb threats came into the town, causing major disruptions, including schooling. The accusation was that Trump and Vance had created terrorists among the MAGAs, but, as it turns out, the calls were coming from foreign countries, with a heavy emphasis on Russia.
The problem with Springfield was echoed in Whitewater, Wisconsin, where a town of 15,000 was inundated with 1,000 Venezuelans and Nicaraguans. A report of the Alabama town of Sylacauga being overrun by Haitians was grossly over-exaggerated as the town received a total of 60 Haitians, hardly enough to overburden the town. The New York Post is reporting that InsiderAdvantage and Trafalgar polling have surveyed seven battleground states and predicted the Trump would end up with 296 electoral votes as things stand now. Only 270 electoral votes are needed to win the White House.

Nick Pickles, the current vice president of global affairs at the company, announced his resignation yesterday (Sept. 5) in a post on the platform. “After more than ten years, tomorrow will be my last day at X,” said Pickles, who did not provide a reason for his departure. X did not respond to requests for comment from Observer.
Pickles was one of the few employees of X, previously known as Twitter, to have survived Elon Musk’s $44 billion takeover of the company in 2022 and was a trusted member of X CEO Linda Yaccarino’s inner circle. The British executive said he was grateful for Yaccarino’s support and partnership, noting that he made the decision to leave X several months ago and is “looking forward to taking some time off before a new challenge.”
Pickles became a prominent figure throughout X’s numerous clashes with international governments. Censorship battles between X and countries like Brazil, India and Australia have proliferated since Musk’s acquisition and a loosening of content restrictions on the platform. “It’s vital that democratic governments don’t unwittingly endorse or adopt the policies of governments who do not want to protect the open, global internet,” said Pickles of government attempts to remove content from the site in a May interview with the Financial Times. “We risk a race to the bottom, with ever more aggressive sanctions being used to try and control the global internet without respect for global norms and free expression,” he added.
