15 states have come together to sue the Biden administration over its intentions to provide free healthcare to illegal aliens, specifically so-called “Dreamers.” The complaint claimed, “Aliens granted deferred action under DACA are not included in the definition of such qualified aliens… DACA recipients are, by definition, unlawfully present in the United States.”
A partnership of 15 states, led by Kansas, has filed a lawsuit to block the federal government from providing taxpayer-funded healthcare through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to illegal immigrants. Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach, joined by attorneys general from 14 other states, filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota, Western Division. The lawsuit targets the U.S. government and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as defendants.
The core of the lawsuit is a recent CMS rule that expands the definition of individuals “lawfully present” in the U.S. to include recipients of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The change would make DACA recipients eligible for ACA benefits, a move the coalition of states argued is both illegal and financially burdensome.
The complaint argued that DACA recipients, who are unlawfully present in the U.S. by definition, should not be eligible for federal public benefits under the ACA. The states assert that this CMS rule violates the 1996 Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act (PRWORA), which restricts eligibility for federal benefits to certain qualified aliens. The lawsuit contends that DACA recipients do not fall within this category.
“Aliens granted deferred action under DACA are not included in the definition of such qualified aliens,” the complaint states. It further argued that “DACA recipients are, by definition, unlawfully present in the United States.”
The Bureau of Labor Statistics released a report that shows new jobs reported between March of 2023 and March of 2024 were overreported by 818,000 jobs. This means nearly 1/3 of the total amount of jobs the Biden/Harris administration claims to have made during this time, 2.9 million total jobs, just disappeared, or were really never there at all.
The Biden-Harris administration admitted on Wednesday that more than 800,000 of the jobs it claimed to have created last year don’t exist.
An annual revision by the Bureau of Labor Statistics revealed that the U.S. economy added 818,000 fewer jobs from March 2023 to March 2024 than originally reported. According to CNBC, “the actual job growth was nearly 30% less than the initially reported 2.9 million from April 2023 through March of this year.”
“The revision to the total payrolls level of -0.5% is the largest since 2009,” the report reads.
This review of Wednesday’s figures found that “[a]t the sector level, the biggest downward revision” came in “professional and business service,” in which “job growth was 358,000 less than initially reported.” The manufacturing; trade (including retail positions), transportation and utilities; and leisure and hospitality sectors also saw downward revisions.
Wednesday’s revisions are not an anomaly, however. The Biden-Harris administration has regularly overestimated job growth in recent years, only to later revise those totals downward in the months that followed.
Last year, for example, “the government … overestimated the job growth for the 12-month period ending March 2023 by 306,000,” according to Forbes. A December 2022 analysis by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia estimated that the administration overstated the number of jobs created during that year’s second quarter by more than one million, The National Desk reported.
Kamala Harris’ Lead Vanishes, Hit Hard by New Polls as Trump’s Momentum Takes Over
New polling shows that Vice President Kamala Harris’ slight lead over former President Donald Trump in battleground states has evaporated, despite nearly a solid month of positive media coverage since entering the race.
Previous polling by the Cook Political Report published last week had Harris ahead of Trump in Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, according to Axios.
Similarly a New York Times/Siena College poll, also released last week, found Harris with a slight lead in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
However, a newer survey conducted by Navigator Research published Tuesday shows the race is essentially tied across Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Broken down individually, Trump is ahead of Harris by one percentage point in Arizona (46 to 45 percent) and two points in Pennsylvania (46 to 44 percent), while the other three states are tied.
Trump Says He Would Be Open To A Cabinet Position For RFK Jr. Amidst Endorsement Rumors
Former President Donald Trump told reporters that he would be open to offering independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. a spot in his cabinet if he suspends his campaign and endorses the former president.
“I like him, I respect him,” Trump told CNN’s Kristen Holmes during a campaign stop in Michigan.
“He’s a brilliant guy. He’s a very smart guy. I’ve known him for a very long time,” the Republican presidential nominee added. “I didn’t know he was thinking about getting out, but if he is thinking about getting out, certainly I’d be open to it.”
Trump’s comments come after Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, revealed during a podcast appearance Tuesday that Kennedy is considering an exit. The campaign is currently debating whether to stay in the race, or suspend operations and endorse former President Trump.
“There’s two options that we’re looking at,” Shanahan said. One option would involve staying in the race in order to lay the groundwork for another bid in 2028, “or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump,” Shanahan explained.
Georgia Election Board Puts Dent in Democrat Plans to Cheat in Elections
The Georgia State Election Board has implemented a reform that will make it a little bit harder for Democrats to cheat in this year’s elections.
The SEB adopted a new rule that would limit the number of votes in each district to the number of actually registered voters that area has in the system. So, the number of ballots would have to be the same or fewer than the number of voters.
The rule ensures that counties comply with Georgia state code. It comes after Fulton County was found to have likely scanned thousands of ballots twice in a recount of the 2020 election.
“The purpose of the rule is to ensure that county superintendents and boards of elections follow the required procedures and can uniformly, properly, and lawfully fulfill their duties, and reconcile the number of ballots to the number of voters so that certification of election results accurately reflects the will of the voters in every county,” the rule reads.
“The rule is built on basic, kindergarten math,” Election Integrity Network Founder Cleta Mitchell said Monday. “Count the number of voters, confirm that the number of voters match the number of ballots. Those numbers should match and should be the same as the number of votes tabulated. The duty for election officials to certify CORRECT results is required under the statute. The rule just makes sure it happens in every county.”
After the killing of a Hezbollah leader, the terrorist organization launched a rocket campaign against Northern Israel that was met with the largest air attack by Israel against Lebanon since 2006. The war in Gaza is pressing on, with still no signs of an end as efforts to broker cease-fire deals failed. Following the massive air assault on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, Israel also began an expanded West Bank operation, claiming “this is a war for everything.”
Israelis unleash deadly assault on West Bank: ‘This is a war for everything’
The Israeli military conducted a massive operation in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, killing at least nine people in a string of fierce gun battles across Jenin and other major cities as tensions heightened in a war that already has laid to waste most of Gaza.
Foreign Minister Israel Katz on Wednesday called on Israel to consider temporarily relocating Palestinians in Jenin and elsewhere during a major anti-terror raid. The Israeli military said it is allowing residents who wish to flee the combat zones to safely leave.
Israel is ramping up its efforts in the West Bank while continuing operations in Gaza, clashing with Iran-backed Hezbollah on its northern border with Lebanon at the same time commercial ships − some with Israeli ties − are threatened by Iran-backed, Yemen-based Houthi militants.
Netanyahu says won’t accept proposal ending Gaza war
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ruled out accepting a ceasefire proposal that includes ending the war in Gaza, Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday.
The report comes after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with the Israeli leader on Monday to discuss efforts to reduce tensions and reach an agreement on a ceasefire and release of hostages. Blinken claimed that Netanyahu had accepted the US ceasefire proposal.
The White House later claimed that significant progress had been made during the latest round of talks involving officials from Israel, Qatar, the US, and Egypt in the Qatari capital of Doha last week. Hamas skipped the negotiations, citing the absence of a clear plan.
Iran signals promised strike on Israel may not be imminent
Iranian officials are signaling this week that an attack against Israel may not be imminent, tamping down some of the more urgent rhetoric around threats to avenge Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed last month in a blast at his guesthouse in Tehran.
Iran had warned early on of a “devastating” reprisal to “punish” Israel for the assassination — but it later adjusted its language, and, in a statement Wednesday, the Iranian mission to the United Nations reinforced the government’s position that any response “must be carefully calibrated” to avoid affecting a potential cease-fire in the Gaza Strip.
US Secretary of State Blinken urges Hamas to accept US proposal to end Gaza war
On Monday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken called on Hamas to accept a US proposal for a ceasefire and hostage release deal in Gaza. This appeal came after a “very constructive” meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv.
Blinken emphasized that the latest effort to secure an agreement might be the best and possibly last opportunity for both sides.
The negotiations, which had stalled last week in Qatar, are expected to resume with the US proposal aimed at bridging the gaps between Israel and Hamas.
Despite Blinken’s optimism, tensions remain high. Hamas announced the resumption of suicide bombings in Israel after many years, and Israeli military strikes killed at least 30 Palestinians in Gaza on Monday.
“In a very constructive meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu today, he confirmed to me that Israel accepts the bridging proposal – that he supports it,” Blinken stated. “It’s now incumbent on Hamas to do the same.”
Hamas: New U.S. proposal accommodates Netanyahu’s demands, prevents deal
Vice President Kamala Harris, asked outside a campaign event in Pennsylvania whether Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is prepared to agree to a ceasefire, said that the U.S. is not giving up.
“I will not speak for him, but I will tell you these conversations are ongoing, and we’re not giving up. We’re going to continue to work very hard on this. We’ve got to get a cease-fire and we’ve got to get those hostages out,” Harris said.
U.S. President Joe Biden, when asked about the status of cease-fire talks between Israel and Hamas after landing at Joint Base Andrews on Sunday, said “It’s still underway, we’re not giving up, [it’s] still possible.”
Turkey Tells Iran To Bring USA, Israel To ‘Knees’? Erdogan Abandons NATO After Invasion Threat?
NATO Nation Turkey made explosive remarks against the U.S. and Israel. Turkey’s ambassador to Iran, Hicabi Kırlangıç, asserted that Ankara will not dictate Iran’s response to Israeli actions, suggesting that “aggressor countries” like Israel and the U.S. should be “brought to their knees.” Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan also condemned U.S. support for Israeli actions. Watch for more.
While some delegates refused to select the Democrat Party’s handpicked nominee, Kamala Harris, in protest over their support for the antisemitic death cult, Hamas, the rest of the delegates got in line and “chose” Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s nominee. She accomplished this without receiving a single primary vote from the Democrat voters. The ratings reached new lows, seeing a decrease in 22 percent from the 2016 DNC. The acceptance speech was short and vague, as would be expected from what many are calling a DEI hire.
The tone of the convention was anti-Trump, with little offered in the way of policy, probably because their policies are hardly popular, outside of their commitment to keep the murdering of unborn children legal. They did offer the shadow of a Nazi slogan, “strength through joy,” though they didn’t say the full phrase, they only demonstrated in their constant use of the word “joy” to describe their political activism.
Biden was pushed aside, given a late night slot in which he chose to spread the terroristic lie that Donald Trump called Nazis “fine people,” while Kamala Harris repeated the lie that Donald Trump will follow the Heritage Foundation’s Agenda 2025. Most of the speakers spread fear and hate in an effort to scare Americans to vote for them to protect them against demons that are either not real or ones created by them.
DNC Posts Lackluster Ratings, Down 22 Percent From 2016
Ratings for night one of the Democratic National Convention were slightly up from 2020, though overall ratings remain down significantly since 2016.
The first night of the DNC drew an average of 20.3 million viewers Monday, ranking slightly higher than the opening night of the Republican National Convention, which took place just days after former President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated.
Monday night’s coverage also served as President Biden’s farewell address to the party after he announced he would be suspending his re-election campaign, giving the first night an added draw over the RNC.
Nielson ratings account for coverage from ABC (2.8 million), CBS (2 million), NBC (1.8 million), Scripps News, Univision, CNN (3.2 million), CNNe, Fox Business, Fox News Channel (2.4 million), MSNBC (4.6 million), Newsmax, NewsNation, and PBS. The numbers account for viewers tuning in between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Central Time.
The numbers are likely higher for both conventions, as Nielson ratings do not factor in significant numbers of online and live-streaming viewers.
Even the Media Is Flipping Out About the Total Dysfunction at the DNC
The Democratic National Convention is so typical of Democrats. They want to tell you it’s about “joy.”
But meanwhile, behind the scenes and frankly spilling out in front of the scenes are protests, backstabbing, drama, division, and complete dysfunction. These are the folks who want your vote, but they can’t even put on a simple event without it being a complete mess.
We’ve reported on some of the mess already, including things running late on Monday night, so that Joe Biden’s address was pushed back until very late in the evening.
But it turns out there’s even more of a mess than that — even basic things like just getting the mechanics right.
The DNC is the worst event I’ve ever been to. People are getting trampled, jumping over barriers.
Floor delegate behind me just called it “absolute chaos,” another said “a really bad system in terms of somebody getting trampled”
I’m legitimately shocked at how catastrophic the logistics of the DNC are. I’m talking to an Illinois State Rep, Cyril Nichols (D), who has given up on trying to get in. “This is horrible,” he says, pointing out other State Reps still stuck on the endless “line” to nowhere pic.twitter.com/bzEKbA0Snj
Kamala Humiliated After DNC’s Official Platform Lists BIDEN As Nominee
The kinks are still being worked out at the Democratic National Convention as things kick off on Monday in Chicago. In a sign of how badly the party is underperforming, the party’s national platform was displayed for all to see still listing President Joe Biden as the nominee.
A screenshot of the platform was grabbed and shared widely online where observers noted President Biden was listed as the nominee throughout the multi-page document. The platform traditionally plays host to shared policy statements, goals, and values for both the Republican and Democratic Parties and are adopted or revamped during presidential elections. Delegates on the floor at this week’s Democratic convention are expected to endorse motions including expanded protections for transgender Americans and calling for a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war. Embarrassing oversights list Biden as the party’s champion on cancer research, infrastructure investments, and increases taxes on corporations.
Democrats’ 2024 Platform Seeks To Eliminate Due Process Protections For College Students
The Democrat’s 2024 platform promises to remove constitutional due process protections for college students after the Trump administration ensured them.
In a section about President Joe Biden purportedly protecting women, the platform said Biden had “restor[ed] and strengthen[ed] protections under Title IX, including explicit protections for LGBTQI+ students,” even though those “protections” have been blocked by the Supreme Court.
Title IX is a federal statute that prohibits entities that receive public funding from discriminating based on sex.
Before the Supreme Court stepped in, 26 states had blocked the rules from going into effect.
Democrat Platform Full Of Delusions About Who Are The Bad Guys
Asking Kamala Harris and Democrats to fix the mess they’ve made over the past few years is kind of like asking Agent Orange to cure non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
The Democratic National Committee, with the complicit assistance of the accomplice media, is spending the better part of this week in Democrat-destroyed Chicago proclaiming that the same party that through a soft coup removed its inconveniently senile leader is the sentinel of democracy.
The packaged delusion begins where you might expect — the preamble to the 2024 Democratic Party platform. Really, the opening paragraph is enough to boggle the mind.
“Our nation is at an inflection point. What kind of America will we be? A land of more freedom, or less freedom? More rights or fewer? An economy rigged for the rich and powerful, or where everyone has a fair shot at getting ahead? Will we lower the temperature in our politics and come together, or treat each other as enemies instead?” the overture to this insane leftist opera asks.
DNC’s unrevised platform allows Kamala Harris to ‘stay vague,’ hide policy from American people: CNN
On CNN, hosts discussed how with the Democratic platform still having many mentions of President Joe Biden along with policy positions, Kamala Harris can “stay vague” about the specifics of her policy agenda going into the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
The comments came from Jake Tapper, who said that having Biden mentioned would leave policies for Harris “vague” and “unspecific,” and allowed the campaign to place blame on Biden.
Tapper during CNN’s coverage of the first day of the DNC said, “President Biden dropped out of the race a month and a day ago. You wouldn’t know that if you read the Democratic platform because it repeatedly refers to President Biden’s second term.” The platform refers to Biden’s second term around 19 times.
CNN’s David Chalian responded, telling others on the panel, “The idea of reopening the platform to try to fit in not yet fully developed Kamala Harris policies, while they were quickly changing, they thought they would be opening a can of worms, right? And that there would be all of a sudden some fights about what goes in the platform and they wanted to avoid that at all costs.” He added that the Democrats were willing to take the hit on the platform not being updated.
‘Squad’ Members Rally Around Uncommitted Delegates Staging DNC Sit-In Over Lack of Speaker Slot
CHICAGO—Several members of the left-wing “Squad,” including Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.), joined uncommitted Democratic National Convention delegates who staged a sit-in outside the United Center over the party’s denial of their request for a speaking slot.
Omar and Rep. Summer Lee (D., Pa.) sat with the delegates near the north entrance to the United Center, where vice presidential nominee Tim Walz spoke Wednesday evening. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) called in to endorse the demonstration, and Reps. Ayanna Pressley (D., Mass.) and Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) expressed solidarity.
Kamala HUMILIATED After Dozens Of DNC Delegates Refuse To Support Her
At the Democratic National Convention, delegates took part in a symbolic roll call vote, echoing their earlier decision to nominate Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democrat presidential candidate. However, some DNC delegates have expressed their hesitations about casting their vote for Harris, as they remain uncommitted until their concerns regarding Gaza are addressed.
The vote, merely a formality following a virtual nomination earlier this month, saw 44 delegates choose to vote “present,” a Daily Caller review reported.
The “uncommitted” trend began with February’s Listen to Michigan campaign, a grassroots initiative that rallied voters to make protest votes during the state’s primary. Surpassing expectations, the campaign secured more than 13 percent of the vote. Building on this momentum, the movement spread nationally, prompting voters in liberal states like Hawaii, Washington, and Minnesota to cast enough “uncommitted” ballots to send similarly minded delegates to the convention.
Members of the pro-Palestinian ‘uncommitted’ movement gathered for a rally at a park near the DNC, pushing for the inclusion of a Palestinian-American speaker at the Democratic convention. At the rally on Wednesday, they amplified their calls for Democrat leaders to intensify efforts to end the conflict in Gaza.
Tim Walz accepts Democratic Party nomination for vice-president
The governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, has formally accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for vice-president alongside Kamala Harris. Walz spoke to an energetic crowd on day 3 of the Democratic National Convention, following speeches by Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, TV host Oprah Winfrey, and former president Bill Clinton.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s Midwestern charm had already won over the crowd at the Democratic National Convention before he walked onto the stage Wednesday night to accept the party’s nomination for vice president.
Tim Walz dances around controversy during DNC speech, mentions IVF; wife references ‘command sergeant major’ rank
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) formally accepted the Democratic vice presidential nomination at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night.
The evening’s theme was “a fight for our freedoms,” and Walz gave a speech thanking Vice President Kamala Harris (D) for inviting him to be a part of the campaign and President Joe Biden (D) for his leadership.
“It’s the honor of my life to accept your nomination for the vice president of the United States,” Walz said.
Walz went on to talk about growing up in a small town, serving in the military, teaching, and running for Congress.
“Then I came back to serve as governor, and we got right to work making a difference in our neighbors’ lives,” Walz stated. “We cut taxes for the middle class. We passed paid family and medical leave. We invested in fighting crime and affordable housing. We cut the costs of prescription drugs and helped people escape the kind of medical debt that nearly sank my family. And we made sure that every kid in our state gets breakfast and lunch every day.”
“So while other states were banning books from their schools, we were banishing hunger from ours,” he continued. “We also protected reproductive freedom because in Minnesota we respect our neighbors and the personal choices they make.”
“And even if we wouldn’t make those same choices for ourselves, we’ve got a golden rule: Mind your own damn business,” Walz declared before reaffirming his support for in vitro fertilization.
“This is a big part of what this election is about: freedom,” Walz remarked.
Tim Walz Bashes JD Vance for Going to Yale — After Following Long List of Yale Speakers
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz bashed rival Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) for attending Yale — after Walz followed a long list of Yale- and Ivy-League-educated speakers at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois, on Wednesday.
“I grew up in Butte, Nebraska. A town of 400 people,” Walz said, continuing: “I had 24 kids in my high school class. And none of them went to Yale.”
Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president, has frequently attacked Vance, the Republican nominee for the position, as if he were an elitist for going to Yale, despite the fact that Vance grew up in poverty in rural America.
But Walz’s predecessors onstage at the convention included a large number of Yale and Ivy League graduates — on Wednesday night alone:
Jaime Harrison, Chairman of the Democratic National Committee (Yale)
Virginia McGregor, Treasurer of the Democratic National Committee (Harvard)
Alexis McGill Johnson, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood (Yale and Princeton)
Cecile Richards, past President of Planned Parenthood (Brown)
Joe Biden Uses ‘Very Fine People’ Hoax in DNC Farewell Speech
President Joe Biden invoked the “very fine people hoax” in his farewell address to the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, using a proven lie, once more, that has been repeatedly debunked, to his face.
The hoax claims that President Donald Trump referred to neo-Nazis who rioted in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017 as “very fine people.” In fact, as the transcript of his remarks shows, Trump condemned them “totally.”
Biden used the hoax to launch his campaign in April 2019. Breitbart News confronted him directly in August 2019 with the evidence that Trump had, in fact, condemned the neo-Nazis. Biden denied it and repeated the hoax again.
Since then, the hoax has been debunked, repeatedly — including, most recently, by the left-leaning Snopes website.
Former President Trump debunked the hoax during his recent debate with Biden; former Vice President Mike Pence did so during his 2020 debate with then-Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA); it was debunked on national television during Trump’s second impeachment trial.
Yet Biden has continued to repeat the lie, almost verbatim — although he has recently added the claim that the Ku Klux Klan paraded “without hoods” because they saw an ally in Trump.
Biden Goes Off-Script in DNC Speech to Appease Pro-Hamas Agitators
As his administration seeks to negotiate an end to the war in Gaza, President Joe Biden slipped a shout-out to anti-Israel protesters into his Monday night speech at the Democratic National Convention.
The convention has been besieged by pro-Hamas protesters who want progressive Vice President Kamala Harris, the party’s nominee, to drag the party further to the left in its rejection of Israel.
On Monday night, Biden said he feels their pain.
“We’re working around the clock, my Secretary of State, to prevent a wider war and reunite hostages with their families and surge humanitarian health and food assistance into Gaza now, to end the civilian suffering of the Palestinian people and finally, finally, finally deliver a ceasefire and end this war,” Biden said in a clip of his speech posted to X.
“The protesters on the street have a point.”
The ones wearing Hamas headbands, waving Hezbollah flags, and screaming “intifada”?
This from a man who claims to be a Zionist.
This should be Biden’s “fine people on both sides” moment with one difference: he actually said it. pic.twitter.com/KkwGzMbIjw
Joe Biden’s mention of the Israel/Hamas war during his DNC speech proved again that except for the first month and a half after October 7, Biden has never been pro-Israel. Amazingly, despite his advanced dementia, he remembered the Democratic rule of talking about Israel. Omitting or bending facts, half-truths, or even lying in an attempt to seem fair but actually trying to promote an anti-Israel position.
Allow me to explain. This President Lame Duck said to the Democratic Party convention on August 19. Well, not exactly. His loving party allowed him to start his speech at 11:30 EDT and end it on August 20.
Per “The Lid” tradition, the black type is Biden’s speech, and the red words are my comments, which are responses to particular phrases in Biden’s speech (those phrases are in bold). It is presented as a response to Joe even though he is not a big reader of The Lid.
“And we’ll keep working to bring hostages home...Gee Joe, who took those hostages, and who are causing many of their deaths? How many? Do you know It could be as few as 50per U.S. sources. …end the war in Gaza... Mr. President, this was an excellent time to remind America that the conflict began with a horrible Hamas terrorist attack. Oh, wait! I apologize. I forgot they are no longer called terrorists. They are militants, just like George Washington in the Revolutionary War...bring peace and security to the Middle East…President Trump left you an excellent strategy called theAbraham Accords, and it was working, but you ignored it. Was it because you wanted your far-left base to know you heard their cries of “Orange Man Bad.”.
DNC Gives a Hilarious Excuse for Running Late and Delaying Biden’s Speech, but No One Is Buying It
As I wrote earlier, I don’t know what they were thinking when they made the schedule for the speakers on Day 1 of the DNC. It ran far too long, with folks like Sen. Raphael Warnock going on and on, and the program running very late. Joe Biden, who was supposed to be the featured speaker of the night, in what was supposed to be something of a wrap up of his 50 years in government was forty minutes late as a consequence. He was supposed to go on at 10:50 p.m. ET, he didn’t go on until about 11:30 p.m.
But the excuse the DNC released to explain why Biden was pushed to such a late time was just ridiculous.
New DNC statement from convention officials explaining why the program ran so late tonight:
“Because of the raucous applause interrupting speaker after speaker, we ultimately skipped elements of our program to ensure we could get to President Biden as quickly as possible so…
“Because of the raucous applause interrupting speaker after speaker, we ultimately skipped elements of our program to ensure we could get to President Biden as quickly as possible so that he could speak directly to the American people. We are proud of the electric atmosphere in our convention hall and proud that our convention is showcasing the broad and diverse coalition behind the Harris-Walz ticket throughout the week on and off the stage.”
Biden Seen Crying During DNC Walkout as Kamala Harris Will Soon Replace Him
In case you missed a lot of what happened at the Democratic National Convention on Monday, don’t worry. Our president probably did, too.
The one difference between you and Joseph Robinette Biden, however, is the fact that the latter was giving the biggest speech of the DNC’s first night. It was predictably Bidenesque.
It’s telling, in fact, that Biden got shafted with the Monday slot, which is where everyone who the Democrats simply had to make time for — in spite of the fact they likely didn’t want to — was given center stage.
In addition to Biden fulfilling his job as the ghost of election failures present, the ghost of election failures past — Hillary Rodham Clinton, the 2016 Democratic standard-bearer — also spoke.
So did several far-left politicians. Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock, Reps. Jasmine Crockett of Texas and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Mayor Brandon Johnson of Chicago, where the convention is being held, also got time on the program for Monday.
Kamala Harris and Walz skipped Obama’s DNC speech reportedly to avoid Biden’s anger over backstabbing
President Joe Biden said he had no ill will toward those who helped oust him from his re-election campaign, but there may be real anger behind the scenes, according to a report.
‘We are in tricky territory.’
A source familiar with the situation between the Harris-Walz campaign and Biden told Fox News that Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz skipped former President Barack Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention to ease Biden’s anger.
“[The] Obamas are still not on the White House good side. It would not be helpful to their relationships,” the source said.
“We are in tricky territory,” the source added.
Instead of attending Obama’s speech, Harris and Walz were a hundred miles away at a rally in Milwaukee. Their absence helped defuse Biden’s anger by avoiding the optics of the presidential candidates standing on a stage next to the man who led the crusade against Biden.
Barack Obama tells Democrats ‘mutual respect’ should be their message this election
Former President Barack Obama urged all Americans, regardless of their background and political ideology, to unite behind Vice President Kamala Harris in an impassioned speech Tuesday night at the Democratic National Convention.
Michelle Obama Voices Support for Childhood Transgenderism at DNC
Former First Lady Michelle Obama appeared to voice support for childhood transgenderism at the Democratic National Convention, accusing former President Donald Trump of “demonizing” children “for being who they are” during her speech.
Obama, who made it her mission during her husband’s tenure to promote healthy lifestyles to children, used her Tuesday night keynote address to say that it is “unpresidential” to speak out against childhood sex changes.
After calling Trump “misogynistic” and “racist,” the former first lady began listing things that do not “make anybody’s life better.”
“…Because gutting our health care, taking away our freedom to control our bodies, the freedom to become a mother through IVF, like I did-those things are not going to improve the health outcomes of our wives, mothers, and daughters,” Obama told the crowd.
“Shutting down the Department of Education, banning our books-none of that will prepare our kids for the future…Demonizing our children for being who they are and loving who they love–look, that doesn’t make anybody’s life better,” she argued.
Former President Barack Obama got some burns in, too, at Tuesday’s Democratic National Convention.
“Here’s a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems since he rode down his golden escalator nine years ago,” Obama said.
“It has been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that’s actually been getting worse,” he continued. “The other day, I heard someone compare Trump to the neighbor who keeps running his leaf blower outside your window every minute of every day. Now, from a neighbor, that’s exhausting. From a president, it’s just dangerous.”
Trump’s “a guy whose act has, let’s face it, gotten pretty stale,” Obama said. “We do not need four more years of bluster and bumbling and chaos. We have seen that movie before, and we all know that the sequel is usually worse.”
“America is ready for a new chapter. America is ready for a better story. We are ready for a President Kamala Harris.”
Despite the Clintons’ complicated political and personal histories, the pair are refinding their footing and stepping up as Democratic Party elders.
Eight years after ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton‘s surprise loss to former President Donald Trump, she delivered an impassioned convention speech on Monday predicting that Vice President Kamala Harris would be the woman who shatters the proverbial glass ceiling that she could not. Former President Bill Clinton, whose administration was marred by the Monica Lewinsky scandal before the Me Too movement of 2017, will have a prime-time speaking spot on Wednesday.
Party officials and lawmakers defended the decision to showcase them during this week’s convention despite mixed emotions from Democrats and staunch criticism from Republicans.
Justin Pearson, who rose to national prominence in 2023 after being expelled from and later reinstated to the Tennessee state legislature over his anti-gun violence protests, welcomed the Clintons’ presence in Chicago.
“The momentum that’s being built in the Democratic Party right now can’t be stopped,” Pearson told the Washington Examiner Wednesday outside state delegation breakfasts at a downtown hotel. “I also believe that we have to have the wisdom of the elders and young people’s energy. I think we need to have a combination of folks who have helped to build this party over time, and also people who are rising and growing and learning now.”

Christian leaders have strongly condemned Planned Parenthood after it deployed a mobile clinic offering free medical abortions and vasectomies, as the 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC) kicked off in Chicago. The mobile health unit was stationed just a block away from the convention site, providing these services free of charge on August 19-20.
Promoting the event on social media, Planned Parenthood Great Rivers announced: “Here we come, Chicago! Our mobile health clinic will be in the West Loop with [the Chicago Abortion Fund] & [the Wieners Circle], providing FREE vasectomies & medication abortion.” The group later confirmed that all available slots had been filled due to overwhelming demand.
Watch: Abortion Pills Protest DNC, Demand Reproductive Justice For Palestine
A bunch of unhinged leftists descended onto the streets in Chicago, as they dressed up as the abortion pill to protest the DNC. However, it’s unclear why they would need to protest the party that is dedicated to abortion all day every day, but a UID attended, too.
The abortion crazies were spotted as part of the larger pro-Palestine protest, because all of a sudden, reproductive justice is also justice for Hamas, as these people couldn’t prove to be more naive if they tried.
Firstly, there are way more masks than there are brain cells. Secondly, don’t you think that the fact that Planned Parenthood offering free abortions at the DNC is enough for these people to be satisfied? It’s not like there’s one single Dem who would try and stand in the way of that.
Thirdly, why do these people always look like that? Do they really think they are saving so much water that monthly showers aren’t even a thought for them?
Additionally, it’s unclear what they think they will accomplish for the people in Gaza, but it’s clear that they have no clue they would be arrested there for acting so foolishly.
DNC 2024: Protests begin calmy third night, after 56 arrests made night prior
More than 1,000 pro-Palestinian protesters marched Wednesday past a park where pro-Israel demonstrators had gathered earlier and toward the arena hosting the third night of the Democratic National Convention.
The demonstration, which stayed largely peaceful, came a day after violent clashes between police and protesters led to 56 arrests.
As marchers passed under a new elevated train station near the United Center that was completed just before the DNC, officers were seen bringing a person to the ground on the platform above. In response, hundreds of protesters pushed against the edge of the station, banging on the glass with their hands and flag poles as they called on police to free the person. The person left through the station’s emergency exit moments later, accompanied by officers but not in handcuffs, prompting cheers from the crowd.
The crowds of pro-Palestinian protesters included many families and people of different faiths. Some kids ate popsicles as they walked, and others were pushed in strollers or rode in wagons. Small groups of Muslims gathered in prayer at a park just ahead of the march’s kickoff, using keffiyeh as prayer rugs. Rabbis were among the leaders of the march, and a small group marched through in the crowd holding a sign that said “Christians for Ceasefire.”
Buses had picked up families and students from area mosques to bring them to the demonstration, including residents of Chicago’s southwest suburbs, which have one of the largest concentrations of Palestinians in the country.
Dozens arrested after pro-Palestinian, anti-DNC protesters clash with CPD
Dozens of people were arrested after clashing with police at an un-permitted protest outside the Israeli Consulate Tuesday night.
The National Lawyers Guild Chicago said at least 72 people were arrested during that protest, while Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling said 56 people, including three journalists, were arrested, after refusing to follow multiple dispersal orders.
Thirty were cited for disorderly conduct – breach of peace, 13 were cited for disorderly conduct – failing to obey a lawful order to disperse, one person was cited for disorderly conduct – failing to obey police and three were cited for resisting police, Chicago police said.
Nine others were charged with misdemeanors.
Twenty two of those arrested are from out of town. Many are from the west coast, according to CPD.
They were brought to Area 3 headquarters, where police have slowly been releasing those arrested one by one Wednesday.
Chaos in Chicago as far-left militants burn American flags, attack journalist, clash with police outside Kamala’s DNC
Pro-Palestinian agitators and police clashed outside Chicago’s Israeli consulate on Tuesday as the Democratic National Convention was underway in nearby United Center. The agitators set an American flag outside the consulate and attacked journalist Ben Bergquam when he attempted to remove the flag from the flames.
One person with a microphone was heard telling the crowd as the flag burned on the ground, “This is what we think of your f*cking flag.”
Lines of riot police and agitators were seen clashing outside the consulate.
Multiple arrests have been made as agitators attempted to make their way through the police line, Julio Rosas documented it for The Blaze. Arrests continued to be made throughout the evening.
Anti-Israel Protesters Disrupt Colbert’s DNC Interview With Pelosi
In yet another example highlighting that the 2024 Democrat National Convention began as a disaster, then went downhill from there, CBS late-night host Stephen Colbert’s live interview with Nancy Pelosi was repeatedly interrupted by anti-Israel agitators, leading the host to plead: “Please don’t interrupt my guest.”
As Pelosi answered Colbert’s question about her reported involvement in the veritable coup that forced Joe Biden to drop out of the race, shouting from the audience could clearly be heard — and it continued throughout the interview.
To Colbert’s credit, he immediately responded to the demonstrators: “For the people who can’t tell, there’s a protest going on in the audience.” And that protest was aimed directly at Pelosi.
Colbert tried to quiet the disturbance at a commercial break, as he then turned to the use of U.S. power overseas.
Let’s talk about another aspect of power: the U.S. using its power overseas. As I said earlier, there is a political protester here. There is a political convention in town, you are a politician and protests are natural. People are protesting, even within the Democratic Party, there is dissension over what is the proper use of American power, especially our protected power overseas, both firm and soft power. If the goal is the peaceful and prosperous future for both Israelis and Palestinians, what role does the United States play?
Kamala Trots Out AOC To Address Anti-Israel Voters at Dem Convention
CHICAGO—Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) touted Vice President Kamala Harris’s support for an Israeli ceasefire in a primetime address to the Democratic National Convention, drawing cheers from the audience at the event’s opening night.
Harris “is as committed to our reproductive and civil rights as she is to taking on corporate greed. And she is working tirelessly to secure a ceasefire in Gaza and bringing hostages home,” Ocasio-Cortez said to loud applause from the crowd in Chicago.
Ocasio-Cortez’s comments were a nod to Democratic voters who have increasingly turned against Israel in recent years. Inside and outside the convention, left-wing protesters railed against the Jewish state, calling on Harris to enact an arms embargo on Israel and pressure its leaders to abandon their battle against Hamas.
The Democratic Party’s decision to tap Ocasio-Cortez for a primetime speaking slot on the convention’s opening night illustrates the growing power of the party’s left wing. During her speech, Ocasio-Cortez sought to portray Democrats as the representatives of the working class and criticized Republicans as the party of the wealthy elite.
“Ever since I got elected, Republicans have attacked me by saying that I should go back to bartending. But let me tell you, I’m happy to any day of the week, because there is nothing wrong with working for a living,” she said.
Democrat-on-Democrat Violence at the DNC: Attendees Unfurl “Stop Arming Israel” Banner During Biden Speech — Man Smacks Woman in Hijab With ‘We Love Joe’ Sign
Tensions flared at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago as party divisions were laid bare in a public display of intra-party conflict.
The incident occurred just as Joe Biden took the stage, when a group of attendees unfurled a large banner reading “Stop Arming Israel” in protest of the regime’s continued support for the Israeli government.
Fake news WaPo reporter Dylan Wells reported that Democrat delegates tried to obstruct the protest banner using their “We Love Joe” signs before the DNC dimmed the lights above the protesters and had them removed from the convention.
First protest I’ve seen inside the arena: a banner reading “stop arming Israel.”
Delegates blocked the sign with the “we ❤️ Joe” signs and the convention hall turned off the light spotlighting the section as the protestors were removed. pic.twitter.com/6XYaCk6XwF
Reporter from Zeteo News, Prem Thakker, also described the chaotic scene: “Audience members at the DNC in Chicago unfurl banner that says “Stop arming Israel.” After audience sees the banner, they begin chanting “We love Joe.” Man tries to rip banner away. Stadium lights over this spot then dimmed and banner was ripped away.”

Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris at the DNC — finally breaking that glass ceiling
“Something is happening in America,” Hillary Clinton told a rapturous crowd at the United Center on the first night of the Democratic convention. “You can feel it. Something we’ve dreamed for a long time.”
Clinton’s speech to Democrats starved for a win was about a lot of things — including electing the first female president.
“Together we’ve put a lot of cracks in the highest, hardest glass ceiling. Tonight, so close to breaking through once and for all, I want to tell you what I see through all those cracks. And why it matters for each and every one of us. What do I see? I see freedom” — for our lives, our loves and our families. And more.
Hillary Clinton Displays Sinister Smile, Nods in Agreement as DNC Crowd Screams Chant Targeting Trump
On Monday, a state senator from Michigan, one Mallory McMorrow, was dragged up on stage at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago to beat the left’s favorite dead horse: Project 2025.
Her remarks, like Mallory McMorrow herself, were decidedly not worth mentioning except for one thing: During her speech, she warned that the Project 2025 agenda might — gasp! — allow Donald Trump to use the federal government to go after his enemies.
The GOP’s agenda, she said, would allow Donald Trump “to weaponize the Department of Justice to go after his political opponents.”
“He could even even turn the FBI into his own personal police force,” McMorrow said. “That is not how it works in America!“
Some random state senator at the DNC laments that President Trump “could even weaponize the Department of Justice to go after his political opponents!”
That’s weird, since that’s EXACTLY what Kamala Harris and the deranged Democrats have done to President Trump. pic.twitter.com/ISx9gWXk0F
DNC bumped James Taylor due to speech overruns, despite him rehearsing, performing a soundcheck Monday in Chicago
James Taylor was bumped at the DNC last night, and while reports emerged that speeches ran long and there was just no room for the aging folkster, it almost seemed intentional, a message that the old guard, their leaders in both politics and culture, were out for good.
“Veteran singer-songwriter James Taylor, who was slated to perform, got bumped for time as the night ran long. We’ll never know for certain whether he would have matched Kid Rock’s energy,” NPR writes, referencing the energy of the RNC and the performers that graced that stage.
Taylor’s only performance on the Chicago stage on Monday was during a sound check, where he played his iconic “You’ve Got a Friend.” It was scheduled to be sung between speeches given by Biden’s daughter Ashley and wife Jill in the lead up to Biden’s exit speech. It would have been a soft reminder that Biden, the elder statesman, was leaving the party he’d been part of for his enture career, stretching back to the 1970s and Taylor’s own heyday, and led for the past four years.
Phil Murphy Teams Up with Trans Candidate for DNC Moment on LGBTQ Rights
In a moment that was supposed to be all about unity and pride, things didn’t go entirely according to plan when New Jersey’s Governor Phil Murphy was spotlighted at the DNC convention with Dr. Joeigh Perella, a transgender advocate and recent candidate for Cumberland County Commissioner.
Perella, who introduced herself confidently with her pronouns (“she/her”), was all set to make a bold statement in support of the LGBTQ+ community. After all, standing alongside big names like Kamala Harris and Tim Walz is no small feat!
“My name is Dr. Joeigh Perella, pronouns she/her. I’m a proud resident of the Garden State,” she began, earning nods of approval from the virtual audience.
After being exposed for supporting DEI policies within its company, and financially supporting far-left organizations, Harley Davidson has issued a statement claiming to have disavowed themselves of DEI policies. They’ve also claimed they will re-evaluate the organizations they support and seek to be more representative of the community they serve.
The company claimed, “… we have not operated a DEI function since April 2024, and we do not have a DEI function today. We do not have hiring quotas and we no longer have supplier diversity spend goals… “We remain committed to listening to all members of our community.”
Harley-Davidson said Monday that it’s ending diversity and other progressive initiatives at the company. Harley-Davidson is the latest major American brand to backtrack from DEI policies it had supported in recent years.
The company added that “we have not operated a DEI function since April 2024, and we do not have a DEI function today. We do not have hiring quotas and we no longer have supplier diversity spend goals.”
But the company said it would review all sponsorships and outside organizations the company affiliates with, and the company will establish a central clearinghouse for approvals of those relationships. It also suggested it would drop some sponsorships, including LGBTQ+ Pride festivals, saying the brand going forward would focus exclusively on growing the sport of motorcycling. Harley-Davidson, based in Milwaukee, had previously been a longtime corporate member of the Wisconsin LBGT Chamber of Commerce.
Lawfare Assassin Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan District Attorney, has announced his office’s intentions to not oppose any delay requests in President Donald Trump’s sentencing hearing, which comes after he was “convicted” of lawfare crimes against the Democrat Party. Bragg wrote “The People defer to the Court on the appropriate post-trial schedule that allows for adequate time to adjudicate defendant’s [presidential immunity] motion while also pronouncing sentence ‘without unreasonable delay,’”
After securing a criminal conviction against former President Donald Trump, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg may now be running cover for Democrats who don’t want to see the Republican jailed before Election Day.
In a filing submitted on Friday, the progressive prosecutor said his office will not oppose a motion by Trump’s attorneys to delay a previously scheduled sentencing hearing on September 18th. The request came following a landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling granting presidents absolute immunity from official acts performed in office which they argue could be construed to include actions around the hush money payment paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels. In June President Trump was found guilty of felony charges that he orchestrated the payments to assist his 2016 presidential campaign and then ordered the misclassification of the payments on business records. Prosecutors with his office now tell Judge Juan Merchan that discretion around a sentence, which could include jail time, will not include a recommendation from their office.
“The People defer to the Court on the appropriate post-trial schedule that allows for adequate time to adjudicate defendant’s [presidential immunity] motion while also pronouncing sentence ‘without unreasonable delay,’” prosecutors wrote, according to the Washington Examiner.
The long-gone “woke” Church of England further signaled to God and the world their rebellion from God by announcing plans to strike the word “church” from their vocabulary, as “church” is not reflective of “modern audiences” or “the new normal.” One Vicar, Dr. Giles Fraser, is suggesting the word “church” be replaced with “new things.”
The Church of England has apparently joined the pronoun movement. Of course, none of this should come as a surprise to anyone, but it is still a shame. According to a report in the Telegraph, the Church has decided to stop using the word “church” in order to be more modern. I don’t know what word they will use. Lodge? Club? Association? The Loyal Order of Water Buffalos?
By all indications, the church is keeping its official moniker as “The Church of England.” That is understandable; that is a lot of letterhead to throw out and logos to redesign. From a cost-benefit standpoint, it makes sense. But going forward, churches will be referred to as “communities.”
According to a study by the Centre for Church Planting Theology and Research, an examination of six of eleven dioceses in the Anglican Communion, churches are increasingly dropping the word when exploring the idea of creating new congregations. They are also known as churches, by the way.
When discussing new “church plants,” which is a fairly common practice in the U.S., none of the 900 of the new churches started by the Church of England used the word “church plant.”
The report’s author, Rev Dr. Will Foulger, vicar of St Nicholas in Durham, found that six of the 11 dioceses used the language of “worship” in their main descriptor of new church projects, two used “congregation,” and seven used “community.”

A study conducted by researchers from Oxford University claims the recent spike in heart illness among children in the UK had one sole cause, the Covid-19 mRNA Vaccine. The researchers concluded, “All myocarditis and pericarditis events during the study period occurred in vaccinated individuals.”
An explosive study has finally confirmed that Covid mRNA shots are the sole cause of an unprecedented global surge of heart failure among children.
The study shuts down previous claims from the corporate media and so-called experts who have tried to blame the phenomenon on COVID-19 and other factors such as sugar intake, video games, and even so-called “climate change.”
As Slay News has been reporting, cases of cardiac-related deaths and heart failure such as myocarditis and pericarditis have been soaring around the world since the Covid injections were rolled out to the public in early 2021.
Myocarditis and pericarditis are inflammatory conditions of the heart and are generally considered to be rare, especially among children.
Severe cases can lead to serious complications and even sudden death.
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has injected itself into a topic that one conservative commissioner is warning could set a precedent that leads businesses to effectively begin discriminating against white people for fear of being fined by the FEC for “discriminatory” pricing.
While the conservative commissioner, Melissa Holyoak, agreed that a business overpricing a community based on race was a violation of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, she warned that the reason for ruling against the impending company is what will set a dangerous precedent.
She claimed “[N]o matter how well-intended, broad standards of liability under disparate impact theories can backfire — particularly ones that seek to regulate the entire American economy — creating risks of unlawful race-based practices. The solution to our Nation’s racial problems cannot come from policies grounded in affirmative action or some other conception of equity. Racialism simply cannot be undone by different or more racialism.”
Lame-duck President Joe Biden’s Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has just issued a new decision that could force businesses across the country to comply with the Democrats’ radical diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) agenda.
One Republican commissioner is warning that the rule could “inject” DEI practices in companies that offer price-varied goods and services nationwide….
However, Holyoak said that the majority also tacked on a “superfluous” violation of Section 5 of the FTC Act.
This move could have a “pernicious” effect on American businesses in the future, Holyoak warns.
“[N]o matter how well-intended, broad standards of liability under disparate impact theories can backfire — particularly ones that seek to regulate the entire American economy — creating risks of unlawful race-based practices,” Holyoak said.
“The solution to our Nation’s racial problems cannot come from policies grounded in affirmative action or some other conception of equity,” she added.
“Racialism simply cannot be undone by different or more racialism.”
She was citing the recent Supreme Court decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard.
That case outlawed race-based considerations in higher-ed admissions policies.
Holyoak explained that “absent Congressional authorization, the Commission should not attempt to broaden the FTC’s unfairness consumer protection authority into a comprehensive civil rights authority — a new standard of liability that may have unintended and pernicious consequences.”
As a way to combat the rising price of products and services in our daily lives, Kamala Harris, the DNC-CCP’s handpicked “nominee,” is proposing empowering the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to impose fines on businesses that, by their estimation, are engaging in “price gouging.”
The campaign stated, “There’s a big difference between fair pricing in competitive markets and excessive prices unrelated to the costs of doing business. Americans can see that difference in their grocery bills.” The plan essentially makes the FTC the new price fixer of the American economy. In other words, it makes the FTC the czar of the now communist marketplace.
A Harvard economist who worked in the Obama Administration voiced his opposition to Vice President Kamala Harris’ plan to install fixed-pricing on grocery chains and their suppliers.
“This is not sensible policy, and I think the biggest hope is that it ends up being a lot of rhetoric and no reality,” Jason Furman told The New York Times in a report published Friday. “There’s no upside here, and there is some downside.”
On Wednesday, Harris finally unveiled a bit of her policy platform after weeks of speculation. The plan included price-fixing on grocery chains and their suppliers to prevent “corporate price gouging.” The Biden-Harris Administration has routinely blamed “corporate price gouging” for America’s inflation woes, which have consistently polled as a top concern among American voters.
“There’s a big difference between fair pricing in competitive markets and excessive prices unrelated to the costs of doing business,” the Harris campaign said in a statement. “Americans can see that difference in their grocery bills.”
The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that the Biden administration’s use of Title IX to force schools to let males presenting as females in their sports, their bathrooms, their locker rooms, and their showers will not be allowed to become effective. The ruling sends the matter back to the courts and suspends Biden’s rule until the matter is legally resolved.
‘For female students everywhere from preschool to graduate school – today is a day for celebration,’ attorney says
The Supreme Court on Friday ruled unanimously in support of two federal court injunctions in 10 Republican-led states barring implementation of the Biden administration’s new pro-transgender Title IX rewrite while the issues is hashed out in court.
It also ruled 5-4 to reject a request from the Education Department to partially enforce its Title IX rewrite, with the majority stating it’s too hard to parse out the uncontested regulations with the wildly controversial pro-transgender policies.
The new “Biden Rule,” released in April, added gender identity to Title IX, thus allowing female-identifying men into women’s bathrooms and requiring others to address them with their preferred pronouns — alongside other provisions unrelated to transgender issues.
In a gesture that seems as meaningful as yelling at clouds, the House Judiciary Committee released its report on the investigation into whether President Joe Biden should face impeachment charges or not. The committee found Biden has used his office to sell influence to foreign powers for millions of dollars.
The report claimed, “Our impeachment inquiry shows conclusively that Joe Biden abused his public office for the private financial benefit of the Biden family and Biden business associates.”
The House Judiciary Committe has concluded that President Joe Biden has committed “impeachable offenses” and that he “abused his public office for the private financial benefit of the Biden family and Biden business associates.” Other actions were also revealed in the report, which is part of their ongoing impeachment inquiry.
In a post on Monday, the committee stated, “Our impeachment inquiry shows conclusively that Joe Biden abused his public office for the private financial benefit of the Biden family and Biden business associates. The facts speak for themselves, and Democrats can no longer stretch the truth to cover for President Biden.
The findings from the near 300-page inquiry report concludes that Biden committed “impeachable offenses.” Some of the actions touched on in the report include that the president sought to “monetize Joe Biden’s office of public trust to enrich the Biden family” from 2014 to the present, “afforded special treatment to President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden” during his prosecution, as well as “obstructed the Committees’ impeachment inquiry by withholding key documents and witnesses.”
The Intersex female that recently won a gold medal in boxing after dominating non-intersex females now wants her critics in jail and bankrupt, if she has her way.
Imane Khelif, who dresses and presents as a man in her normal life, is seeking to have the UK throw Elon Musk and JK Rowling in jail, and force them to hand over their wealth to her for daring to believe she is really a man who unfairly brutalized women to win a gold medal she doesn’t deserve.
JK Rowling and Elon Musk have been named in a cyberbullying lawsuit filed in France by the Olympic champion boxer Imane Khelif.
Khelif, who was the subject of a global gender eligibility row during her Olympic run, became Algeria’s first gold medallist in women’s boxing and its first boxer overall to win gold since 1996.
On Wednesday, her attorney Nabil Boudi, said they had filed a criminal complaint over alleged “acts of cyber-harassment” to the Paris public prosecutor’s office on Friday.
The legal action was filed against X, which under French law means it was filed against unknown persons, Variety reported. It claims the 25-year-old was the victim of “misogynistic, racist and sexist” cyberbullying.
A political action committee has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission against Donald Trump over his recent two-hour live interview with Elon Musk.
End Citizens United, a Democrat-aligned PAC, claims that the interview “amounted to a virtual campaign event” for Trump financed by X, formerly Twitter, which would be in violation of federal law.
The complaint names Trump, his campaign treasurer Bradley T. Crate and X as the respondents.
“Such a brazen corporate contribution undermines the anti-corruption aims of the Act, and the Commission should immediately investigate these violations and take appropriate remedial action,” the complaint said, referring to the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971.
Arkansas attorney general asks justices to consider additional documents in fight over proposed abortion amendment
Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin responded to claims the proposed abortion amendment was rejected for political reasons, asking the Arkansas Supreme Court to consider additional documents to back up his claim in a court filing Monday.
Thousands of illegal Israeli settlers, under heavy Israeli military protection, stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound in the name of a religious event Tuesday.
The storming of the flashpoint site in occupied East Jerusalem sparked tensions with Palestinian Muslims present at the time.
At least 2,000 Israeli settlers toured the mosque complex and conducted Talmudic rituals, provoking Muslim worshippers, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA.
The settlers’ entry into the Al-Aqsa Mosque Complex came after a call from extremist Jewish groups to commemorate Tisha B’Av, an annual Jewish fast day that marks the occurrence of several disasters in Jewish history, reported WAFA.
The settlers entered the mosque through the western Al-Mugharbah Gate, a route frequently used during such incursions, the agency added.
Israeli forces closed roads leading to Jerusalem’s Old City, deployed hundreds of soldiers, and effectively turned the area into a “military barracks” while imposing strict restrictions on Palestinians attempting to enter the mosque.
Trump Vows Return To Butler Assassination Attempt Area
Former President Donald Trump dropped new details Monday night about his plans to return to the place where he nearly died last month.
During an interview with Elon Musk on X, Trump vowed to return to Butler for a rally in October. He said he will finish his July 13 address that was cut short because of the assassination attempt at the Butler Farm Show grounds.
Trump did not provide a specific date for the rally or divulge its location.
Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, suffered a wounded ear in the incident in which three spectators were shot, one fatally.
In another blow to free speech, an Ohio court just granted Olentangy Local Schools of Ohio the power to punish students for not “acknowledging” the preferred pronouns of other students. The move is seen as a blow to religious and philosophical liberty, as students of various beliefs will be forced to deny the conviction of their beliefs (such as there is only man and woman, and humans are born into their sex, which is the same as gender).
The ruling will be appealed, but while it is being adjudicated, students already starting school this year will be subject to this forced expression, whether it aligns with their beliefs or not. Circuit Court Judge Alice Batchelder wrote in her dissent that the first amendment actually DOES prohibit the school “from compelling students to use speech that conveys a message with which they disagree, namely that biology does not determine gender.”
Another victory for Big Brother. A court ruled last week that an Ohio school district could punish students who intentionally “misgender” LGBTQ individuals. There’s nothing like crushing the First Amendment and outlawing reality in one fell swoop.
Ohio’s Olentangy Local Schools can now penalize students who “intentionally” misgender, thanks to the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, as The Columbus Dispatch reports. Those confused individuals who think they can be transgender despite biology and who claim that there are dozens of genders are now a protected and favored class. Rest in peace, First Amendment — and parental rights.
As Circuit Judge Alice Batchelder wrote in her dissent from the court’s majority ruling, the First Amendment does (in a world not gone mad on wokeness) stop the district “from compelling students to use speech that conveys a message with which they disagree, namely that biology does not determine gender.” Parents Defending Education (PDE) had argued in a legal filing that the schools’ policy violated the First and Fourteenth Amendments and even penalized students for activity on their devices when not at school. Such LGBTQ policies attack both freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
The judges on the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals based in Cincinnati, said Monday in a 2-1 decision that the district did not compel speech in a way that violates students’ First Amendment rights, upholding a previous decision from a U.S. district court judge. Last year, the U.S. district court denied a preliminary injunction request filed by Parents Defending Education, which would have required the Olentangy Local School District to immediately change its harassment policies for students, The Dispatch previously reported.
Researchers from the Dutch Wageningen University & Research are warning the Japanese that a vaccine developed by a Bill Gates-funded group could be a significant health risk to humans. The Japanese are scheduled to administer a Covid-19 variant later this year. The vaccine is called a “self-amplifying mRNA” or SAM vaccine, for short.
The scientists warn the vaccine might make “unwanted and dangerous connections” that could re-animate the deadly viruses people might have in them through past vaccinations. One of the researchers on the project, Gorben Pijlmanm, said “The vaccines can indeed recombine with viruses under laboratory conditions, resulting in chimeric viruses (mixtures).”
A group of leading Dutch scientists and virologists has just made a disturbing discovery about the new Bill Gates-funded “self-amplifying mRNA” (SAM) vaccines.
The researchers are raising the alarm after finding that the SAM vaccines can form “unwanted and dangerous connections” with other deadly viruses in people who have been vaccinated…
Since the vaccine was approved, scientists have been raising serious concerns about their safety.
According to Wageningen University & Research in the Netherlands, SAM vaccines can increase the threat of pathogenic viruses spreading among humans.
The discovery was made during a study led by virologists Tessy Hick, from Umeå University in Sweden, and Professor Gorben Pijlman from the Laboratory of Virology at Wageningen University & Research.
Rumble appears ready to join the Elon Musk lawsuit, and may want to add Dunkin Donuts to the suit for its refusal to advertise on the platform because of the “right wing culture of the site being too polarizing,” as if the MSM isn’t polarizing (and intentionally, seditiously so).
Dunkin’ Donuts, trading as Dunkin’ since rebranding, is facing a boycott from many users on X, formerly Twitter, after the chief executive of the video platform Rumble alleged that the fast-food chain declined to advertise with them due to the “right wing culture of the site being too polarising.”
Rumble is joining Elon Musk’s social media company, X, in suing a group of advertisers over allegations that they withheld business from the social media firms because of the right-wing content hosted on their platforms.
On Wednesday, the hashtag #BoycottDunkinDonuts gained significant traction on X.
Rumble chief executive Chris Pavlovski wrote on X that the company approached Dunkin’ and its parent company, Inspire Brands, to consider placing advertising on the site because its audience “over indexes with coffee consumption.”
Pavlovski posted a screenshot of what appeared to be a redacted email reply from the company. The screenshot did not show who sent the email, but Pavlovski’s post implied it was from an advertising executive at Dunkin’ or Inspire Brands, which also owns Arby’s and Sonic Drive-In.
The Myanmar Junta is extending its state of emergency an additional six months in what appears to be a bid to have to avoid facing elections. The junta took over after Aung San Suu Kyi won the election in 2021. She was arrested February 1, 2021, and has been imprisoned ever since.
The announcement comes at the same time as the junta lost a military base near the border with China, which is the northeastern command located in the city of Lashio, which is in the Shan State. The junta leader, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, made the announcement as he also accused “foreign countries” of providing arms to the junta, saying, “We need to investigate where these [drone] factories are getting their funds and technological support from.”
China Advised to Pick Friends More Wisely in Myanmar After Schmoozing With Junta
China will be unable to solve the crisis in Myanmar by holding talks with “untrustworthy” military dictators, U Kyaw Zaw, the spokesman of the President’s Office of the civilian National Unity Government (NUG) told The Irrawaddy.
He made the comment following the visit of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to Myanmar last week.
Wang visited Naypyitaw on August 14, holding talks with junta boss Min Aung Hlaing, the junta’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Than Swe as well as former military dictator Than Shwe.
During the meeting with the coup leader, Wang said China opposes chaos or conflict in Myanmar as well as any remarks that attempt to sow discord in China-Myanmar relations.
China hopes “Myanmar finds a path to long-term peace and stability,” he said.
His visit coincided with a string of humiliating defeats of Myanmar’s military in northern Shan State, Mandalay Region and Rakhine State.
Myanmar Junta Troops ‘Cornered’ in Two Northern Shan Townships
Heavy fighting is ongoing between Myanmar junta troops and Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA)-led forces in the neighboring townships of Nawnghkio and Hsipaw, northern Shan State, according to residents and resistance forces.
Clashes erupted around Nawnghkio Township’s Taung Khan and Mat Man Taw villages on Sunday, said the TNLA, a member of the ethnic Brotherhood Alliance.
A junta Y-12 transport plane dropped at least 20 bombs on Nawnghkio Township hotspots on Sunday alone, according to the TNLA’s statement.
Fighting around the two villages continued on Monday, residents said.
Myanmar’s military regime extends state of emergency by 6 months as civil war rages
The military regime that seized power in Myanmar 3 1/2 years ago extended a state of emergency in the civil war-wracked country for another six months, saying Wednesday it needs time to prepare for long-promised elections.
The state of emergency was initially declared when troops ousted the elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi on Feb. 1, 2021, arresting her and members of her National League for Democracy party.
The emergency decree empowers the military to assume all government functions, giving the head of the ruling military council, Senior Gen. Min Aung Hlaing, legislative, judicial and executive powers.
At the moment, the military regime is facing its greatest challenge since taking power. Powerful ethnic minority militias and people’s defense forces that support Myanmar’s main opposition have taken wide swaths of territory in fierce fighting in recent months.
The military is now estimated to control less than half the country, but is holding on tenaciously to much of central Myanmar, including the capital, Naypyidaw, which was recently targeted by small rocket attacks and two bombings.
Myanmar Rebels Claim Regional Military Base in Major Victory
A rebel army in Myanmar announced this weekend that it had overrun a regional military base near the border with China in what is likely to be the most significant victory yet for a patchwork of resistance groups that have challenged the country’s junta.
On Monday, Myanmar’s military rulers signaled that the insurgents had, in fact, made a major advance, saying the junta had lost contact with the base, the northeastern command in the city of Lashio in Shan State.
The junta leader, Senior Gen. Min Aung Hlaing, said in a speech later Monday that security forces had withdrawn in northern Shan State because they were “prioritizing the safety of the people.” He said the rebels were getting weapons and other supplies, including drones and short-range missiles, from “foreign countries,” which he didn’t identify. Some arms and ammunition were coming from factories just across the China-Myanmar border, he said.
“We need to investigate where these factories are getting their funds and technological support from,” the military leader said.
Bangkok, Aug 5 (EFE).- A powerful Myanmar guerrilla said Monday it had taken complete control of the Lashio military base, headquarters of the military junta in the northeast of the country, in one of the biggest rebel forces victories since the 2021 coup.
The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army said it completely took over the base Sunday, along with other allied forces against the junta, the northeast region headquarters. It also captured three senior army commanders, including a major general, a milestone for the rebels.
The prisoners are Gen. Soe Tint, Brigade Chief Thant Htin Soe and Brigade Chief Myo Min Htwe, captured alive and with whom the military junta has acknowledged losing contact since Saturday.
According to the statement, on the morning of Aug. 3, the entire military headquarters of the Northeast Region, called Ramakha and based in Lashio, in conflict-ridden Shan State, was attacked and captured by joint rebel forces.
During the battle, both sides fought and thousands of people, including members of the Myanmar army and their families, surrendered, although the exact number is unknown.
Elon Musk is suing advertisers he accuses of colluding with one another to create a “massive advertiser boycott” to silence dissent that his social media platform, Twitter (now X) began to allow to be tweeted after taking over from a DNC-CCP-controlled ownership group. Musk’s xpost declared “now it is war” in his announcement of the lawsuit.
Elon Musk’s X sues advertisers, including CVS Health and other companies, over alleged ‘massive advertiser boycott’
Elon Musk’s social media platform X has sued a group of advertisers, alleging that a “massive advertiser boycott” deprived the company of billions of dollars in revenue and violated antitrust laws.
The company formerly known as Twitter filed the lawsuit Tuesday in a federal court in Texas against the World Federation of Advertisers and member companies Unilever, Mars, CVS Health and Orsted.
It accused the advertising group’s initiative, called the Global Alliance for Responsible Media, of helping to coordinate a pause in advertising after Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion in late 2022 and overhauled its staff and policies.
Musk posted about the lawsuit on X on Tuesday, saying “now it is war” after two years of being nice and “getting nothing but empty words.”
X CEO Linda Yaccarino said in a video announcement that the lawsuit stemmed in part from evidence uncovered by the U.S. House Judiciary Committee which she said showed a “group of companies organized a systematic illegal boycott” against X.
The Republican-led committee had a hearing last month looking at whether current laws are “sufficient to deter anticompetitive collusion in online advertising.”
The lawsuit’s allegations center on the early days of Musk’s Twitter takeover and not a more recent dispute with advertisers that came a year later.

Elon Musk PAC being investigated by Michigan secretary of state for potential violations
A political action committee backed by billionaire Elon Musk is being investigated by the Michigan secretary of state’s office amid efforts to collect voter data.
Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has said he created and helped fund the America PAC, which is supporting former President Donald Trump. Musk has a net worth of over $225 billion, according to Forbes.
The committee has been acquiring detailed voter information from those living in Michigan and other battleground states after people submit their personal data through a section on the PAC’s website that says “register to vote.”
After clicking on the “register to vote” tab on America PAC’s website, users in states like Michigan can submit a ZIP code, address and phone number. People with a Michigan address are brought to a page that says “thank you” and asks users to “complete the form below” to help wrap up the voter registration process. As of Sunday afternoon, though, there was no other form to complete below the words “thank you.”
The just-elected Labour government of Britain has come out in support of illegal immigrants, Islam, and anything that opposes British national pride. As a result, protests and riots have exploded throughout Britian, with some being led by Brits and other being led by anti-Brits.
The anti-Brits get special treatment while the Brits get arrested, not just for being part of the riots, but for posting “mean” things online. So far, more than 2,000 people have been arrested. While the riots and protests are dying out, the discontent is only growing, and the arrests are only continuing. Britain is on the brink of civil war at this point.
UK Descends into Chaos as “Rule of Law” Apparently has Been Rescinded
On Sunday, I summarized new reports about the anti-immigration protests and unrest that erupted after three young girls were murdered at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in northwest England last week.
However, I want to go back and focus on the victims of the Southport stabbing, as the response of the elite media and the United Kingdom’s political elite have made choices that seem to be upending the rule of law that all citizens and institutions within a country, state, or community are accountable to the same laws,
You know…like the one first established in England by the Magna Carta.
To begin with, I tried to locate an in-depth summary of the victims, Elsie Dot Stancombe, Bebe King, and nine-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar. It was a challenge, as their names have been lost in an avalanche of reports attacking the far right”.
The heartbreak for the loss of little girls, who should have been safe in a children’s dance class, is palpable.
Jean Stevenson said Elsie Dot Stancombe was “absolutely the sweetest child you could ever wish to meet”.
Ms Stevenson said she had been teaching Elsie to sew, and remembered her delight at being able to make her own top.
“I thought I could go on giving her lessons and passing my skills on,” Ms Stevenson said as she laid flowers close to where Elsie was killed.
…Ms Stevenson was one of the thousands of people who have laid flowers or attended vigils since the attack.
She said: “It’s true what they say about the Southport community: a very close knit community, a very family-orientated area.
UK government calls on Elon Musk to act responsibly amid provocative posts as unrest grips country
LONDON — The British government has called on Elon Musk to act responsibly after the tech billionaire used his social media platform X to unleash a barrage of posts that officials say risk inflaming the violent unrest gripping the country.
Justice Minister Heidi Alexander made the comments Tuesday morning after Musk posted a comment saying that “Civil war is inevitable” in the U.K. Musk later doubled down, highlighting complaints that the British criminal justice system treats Muslims more leniently than far-right activists and comparing Britain’s crackdown on social media users to the Soviet Union.
“Use of language such as a ‘civil war’ is in no way acceptable,’’ Alexander told Times Radio. “We are seeing police officers being seriously injured, buildings set alight, and so I really do think that everyone who has a platform should be exercising their power responsibly.’’
Britain has been shaken by violence for more than a week, as police clashed with crowds spouting anti-immigrant and Islamophobic slogans in cities and towns from Northern Ireland to the south coast of England. The unrest began after right-wing activists used social media to spread misinformation about a knife attack that killed three girls during a Taylor Swift-themed dance event on July 29.
Musk stirs UK divisions, sparks calls for faster rollout of online safety laws
Elon Musk has been accused of exacerbating tensions after a week of far-right rioting in Britain, sparking calls for the government to speed up the rollout of laws policing harmful online content.
Misinformation and calls to violence have spread on social media over the past week after far-right and anti-Muslim groups seized on the fatal stabbing of three young girls in the English town of Southport.
Hundreds of counter-protestors gather ahead of 100 far-Right rallies
Far-Right demonstrators were left outnumbered on Wednesday night as thousands of counter-protesters crowded them out in towns and cities across England.
Police forces across the country braced for more than 100 far-Right demonstrations, with almost 4,000 specially-trained public order officers taking to the streets in anticipation of unrest.
Another 2,000 officers were placed on standby, meanwhile GP surgeries closed early and City workers were told to leave the office. In many towns and cities shops were also boarded up over fears of further rioting.
But it was the counter-protesters who turned out in far greater numbers.
In London, more than 5,000 people amassed in Walthamstow carrying banners of ‘Oppose Tommy Robinson’ and ‘Refugees Welcome’.
Hundreds of counter-protesters also gathered outside an immigration advice centre in Brentford and the Old Fire Station in Hackney.
Hundreds Arrested In UK As Rioters Clash With Police, Attack Buildings Following Stabbing Spree
Police arrested hundreds of rioters Sunday in violent clashes that erupted after a stabbing spree in the U.K., Fox News reported.
Rioters in the U.K. have set fires, beseiged mosques and clashed with police amid false rumors blaming an asylum-seeker for a mass stabbing at a Taylor Swift-themed dance event, according to Fox News. The attack reportedly left three girls dead and others injured. A U.K. judge named Axel Rudakubana, a 17-year-old native of Rwandan descent, as the suspect charged with three counts of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder, the outlet reported.

The revelation — unusual due to U.K. laws purposed to protect minors’ identities — aimed to stop the misinformation which reportedly sparked riots. In response to escalating violence, including the torching of a library and attacks on a Winston Churchill statue, U.K. authorities arrested hundreds while deploying substantial police forces, the outlet reported. In addition, the town of Rotherham reportedly experienced severe clashes, with rioters allegedly trying to storm a hotel sheltering asylum-seekers. Police reported multiple officer injuries, Fox News stated.
U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the attacks and labeled the attacks as far-right thuggery.
“I guarantee you will regret taking part in this disorder, whether directly or those whipping up this action online and then running away themselves,” he said in a statement. “This is not a protest. It is organized, violent thuggery, and it has no place on our streets or online.”
On Sunday, the UK woke up to turmoil as the far right and anti-immigrant protests spread across Britain, resulting in violence, including clashes with riot police outside the hotel housing asylum seekers and looting shops. “People in this country have a right to be safe, and yet we’ve seen Muslim communities targeted, attacks on mosques, other minority communities singled out, Nazi salutes in the street, attacks on the police, wanton violence alongside racist rhetoric, so no, I won’t shy away from calling it what it is: far-right thuggery,” he added.
The police have the means to deal with the raging violence, according to Defense Secretary John Healey
The British Army will not be involved in dealing with widespread rioting across the UK, Defense Secretary John Healey has said, insisting that police have the powers to protect the nation.
Healey was speaking to Sky News on Monday in Rotherham, where protesters set fire to a hotel housing asylum seekers.
Dozens of British towns and cities have been rocked by right-wing protests and riots against immigration and Islam since last Monday, when a British teenager of Rwandan descent stabbed three children to death and injured ten others in the town of Southport, near Liverpool.
Asked whether the army might have to be brought in to deal with any future riots, Healey replied: “No… it’s the police’s responsibility to respond first and currently they’ve got the means to do it.”
“They will make sure that people are safe,” Healey added.
Elon Musk calls PM ‘two-tier Keir’ over police response to UK riots
Elon Musk has called the prime minister “two-tier Keir” in reference to the conspiracy theory that police are treating white far-right “protesters” more harshly than minority groups.
Downing Street would not engage again with the billionaire owner of X, having previously said his comments about a potential civil war in the UK had “no justification”. Since that criticism, Musk has been repeatedly targeting Keir Starmer on his social media platform.
However, the Guardian understands Labour MPs have been privately warned not to engage in debate on Twitter about the far-right violence and to instead amplify calls for unity.
In a letter to MPs from the chief whip Alan Campbell, he says it is “important that you do not do anything that risks amplifying misinformation on social media and do not get drawn into debates online.”
UK riots raise the spectre of racism and evoke haunting memories
Since riots broke out across Britain, news outlets have focused on the role of disinformation shared on social media.
As far-right mobs rage in several towns, questions abound: should social media platforms crack down on the proliferation of dangerous conspiracy theories – primarily that people of immigrant and Muslim backgrounds are more likely to commit deadly crimes or sexual abuse? Are companies like TikTok inflammatory, allowing rioters to flaunt footage of their hate crimes with abandon?
There’s little doubt that social media plays a significant role in stoking tensions. However, the threat of the far right is not new, and many of their views entered the political mainstream long before we were glued to our screens.
Violence first flared after three girls – Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven and Bebe King, six – were stabbed to death at a Taylor Swift-themed summer holiday camp in Southport.
Far-right protesters clash with anti-racism groups, police across U.K.
A number of British police officers were injured Saturday as far-right activists faced off with anti-racism protesters. The clashes come following a stabbing attack at a dance class earlier this week that left three girls dead and several wounded.
With dozens of similar gatherings scheduled to take place around the country this weekend, police have mounted a significant security operation, deploying thousands more officers onto the streets, many in riot gear. Police have also made more prison cells available and are using surveillance and facial recognition technology.
On Saturday, Merseyside Police said a number of officers were injured in “serious disorder” in the centre of Liverpool, about 32 kilometres away from the scene of the stabbing attack in the seaside town of Southport, in England’s northwest.
In a series of posts on the social media platform X, the police force that covers Liverpool and Southport said there is “no place for this despicable behaviour which disrupts the lives of members of the public who live in the city, or are visiting to enjoy the amenities the city has to offer.”
Far-right riots erupt in U.K. in the wake of child murders
The United Kingdom woke up Sunday morning to city streets covered in debris and smoldering rubbish as a weekend of far-right, anti-immigration demonstrations — stoked by conspiracy theories spread on social media — erupted into violence in seven cities across the nation.
Police arrested at least 100 people, and riot police wearing helmets and holding shields came out in force as Prime Minister Keir Starmer pledged to take action against “extremists.”
On Saturday, groups in Leeds waving St. George’s Cross flags, England’s national flag regularly flown by far-right groups, shouted “Muslims off our streets,” pairing it with a slur suggesting they were criminal child abusers. In the city of Hull, rioters threw bottles and smashed a window at a hotel housing asylum-seekers as demonstrators clashed with police.
What started as targeted anti-immigration demonstrations quickly descended into directionless disorder. A library in Liverpool, reopened in 2023 as an “education to employment” service for people of all abilities, was set ablaze.
One police officer in the city was hit on the head with a chair and another kicked and knocked off his motorcycle. The police force responsible for the region has confirmed that two officers were taken to the hospital with injuries.
The protesters clashed as campaign group Stand Up To Racism and a “stop the boats” rally met at Guildhall Square in Plymouth this evening.
Devon and Cornwall Police also said violence had been carried out against its officers and a riot van had been damaged during the confrontation.
It comes as almost 400 people have been arrested over the mob violence spreading across the UK, with the prime minister setting up a “standing army” of specialist police officers to deal with further attacks.
Sir Keir Starmer has held an emergency Cobra meeting after far-right mobs carried out racist attacks and set fire to hotels housing asylum seekers in Rotherham and Tamworth.
Meanwhile, Australia, Nigeria, Malaysia and Indonesia have all issued travel alerts to their nationals visiting the UK as far-right violence sweeps across the country.
Pro-Palestinian demonstrators across Europe demand cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war
Protests and counter-protests are continuing across Europe as the Israel-Hamas war exceeds 300 days.
Pro-Palestinian demonstrators took part in cease-fire rallies across Europe as the Israel-Hamas war passes 300 days.
Dozens of pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered in Paris on Saturday, demanding a solution to the ongoing war and calling for a boycott of Israel at the ongoing Olympic Games.
The protesters held banners calling for “sanctions against Israeli war criminals,” “Save Palestine” and “Stop the genocide of Palestinians.”
Many also expressed anger at seeing Israel’s flag at the Paris Olympic Games.
Activists said Israeli athletes should have competed with a neutral status like those from Russia and Belarus following the invasion of Ukraine.
“My opinion is that Israel should not have anything to do with the (Olympic) Games,” said 59-year-old demonstrator Abdelali Mebarki, “Russians are taking part in the games without a banner, why not Israel as well?”
UK police arrest two pro-Palestine activists under organised crime laws
Two men who supported a direct action protest by a pro-Palestine campaign at an arms factory have been arrested on suspicion of being part of an organised crime group.
Police swooped on the pair last week over the roles they played in a Palestine Action protest two months ago. It is believed to be the first use of organised crime laws against protesters in the UK.
Lawyers criticised the arrests. Raj Chada of Hodge Jones & Allen one of the UK’s leading protest lawyers who has represented Palestine Action, Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion supporters in court, called them “a very concerning development”.
Seven protesters broke into the Instro Precision factory in Sandwich, Kent, in June. Activists say the facility makes targeting equipment for the Israeli military.
Once inside they smashed equipment, doused the walls with red paint and barricaded the doors before waited for police to arrive. All were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
Kent police said: “Two people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and suspicion of participating in the activities of an organised crime group following a report of a protest at Discovery Park, Sandwich, on Monday 17 June 2024.
UK proposes giving digital workers the ‘right to switch off’
Britain’s new Labour government is the latest legislature to consider how it might make it easier for digital workers using always-on technologies to turn them off at the end of the working day.
In Labour’s Plan to Make Work Pay, published before it won the UK’s July general election, it promised to address the issue, saying “We will bring in the ‘right to switch off’ so working from home does not result in homes turning into 24/7 offices.”
And this week it brought the issue back into the spotlight, with a government spokesperson telling the BBC, “Good employers understand that for workers to stay motivated and productive they do need to be able to switch off, and a culture presenteeism can be damaging to productivity,” a government spokesperson told the BBC on Monday.
Representative Andy Ogles (R-TN) is the latest victim of the DNC-CCP’s lawfare assault on the GOP, finding his home raided by the DOJ one day after winning his GOP primary. Ogles is a self-described MAGAs supporter.
As the DOJ adds to its political victims, U.S. District Judge, and top DNC-CCP lawfare assassin, Tanya Chutkan, is pushing forward with her lawfare assault on Donald Trump, rejecting Trump’s dismissal appeal in the wake of the SCOTUS ruling that renders much, if not all, of her charges moot, a sentiment shared even by MSNBC’s own legal expert.
Alvin Bragg’s office faces lawsuit over records related to Trump prosecution
A lawsuit was filed Tuesday against Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s office, alleging the elected Democrat illegally withheld records related to the felony hush money case against former President Donald Trump.
The complaint, filed by the conservative group America First Legal, was prompted by Bragg’s repeated denials of AFL’s Freedom of Information Law requests, which sought communications between Bragg’s office, the Biden administration, and other parties potentially involved in what AFL described as the “partisan persecution” of Trump, the Republican presidential nominee.
“There should be nothing to hide,” AFL Vice President Daniel Epstein said in a statement. “If improper ex parte communications influenced what is supposed to be nonpartisan prosecutorial conduct, all Americans are at risk.”
FBI Raids MAGA Rep. Andy Ogles Over Campaign Donations Days After He Defeated RINO in GOP Primary
Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.), a staunch supporter of the MAGA movement, was targeted by federal authorities just days after securing a hard-fought victory in the Republican primary against a RINO challenger.
The raid, reported by local outlet WTVF on Tuesday.
Ogles, who represents a significant portion of Nashville, has been under scrutiny for his campaign’s financial practices. The timing of the raid, coming so soon after his primary win on August 1, has raised eyebrows and sparked allegations of political persecution.
Many conservatives see this as yet another example of the weaponization of federal agencies against those who dare to challenge the establishment.
According to Daily Mail, Ogles admitted to making ‘mistakes’ on his campaign finance disclosures earlier this year. He filed numerous amended reports in May, acknowledging that he had not personally loaned his campaign $320,000 as previously claimed. Other amendments led to further retractions of statements made to the Federal Election Commission.
Judge Chutkan Rejects Trump’s Motion to Dismiss Election Case, Schedules Status Conference
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan has set a status conference for mid-August in the case involving classified documents against former President Donald Trump. She also rejected his legal team’s request to dismiss the indictment.
The status conference, scheduled for August 13 at a federal courthouse in Washington, D.C., will cover procedural issues and outline the next steps in the case, according to an order signed by Judge Chutkan on August 3.
Chutkan has directed both the prosecution and defense to file a joint status report by August 9. This report should update the court on the case’s progress and may include details on any agreements or disagreements between the parties, as well as completed tasks and upcoming deadlines.
In the same order, Chutkan granted a temporary delay on the deadlines for briefing on special counsel Jack Smith’s motion to restrict the evidence and arguments that Trump’s legal team can present during the trial, especially those deemed irrelevant or prejudicial by prosecutors.
MSNBC Legal Expert Gives The Left Bad News About Trump’s DC Case
On Monday, legal expert Joyce Vance delivered her distinct opinion on the likelihood of former President Donald Trump’s impending trial in Washington, D.C. taking place before this November’s election. According to Vance, there is “absolutely no chance” of the trial proceeding in that timeframe, setting the stage for more political drama as Trump faces four felony charges related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.
The scheduled March trial date was previously postponed by District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan while Trump’s appeal regarding presidential immunity was still under consideration. The maneuver effectively delayed any possibility of a trial before the election, a scenario that has significant implications for Trump and the 2024 election.
“So there’s absolutely no chance this one is getting to trial,” Vance started. “That’s because the way the Supreme Court structured this decision, Judge Chutkan will make her rulings and if she permits any of the charges to go forward, any of the allegations in the indictment to remain in place, indicates that the government can use any of this evidence despite Trump’s claims that it’s all now cloaked in presidential immunity, there will be a round two appeal.”
“The way immunity works and the Supreme Court makes this clear. The whole point of having immunity is you shouldn’t have to stand trial for charges that you have immunity from. So Trump will inevitably take objection to anything that she permits to move forward. You know, I look back longingly on our days when we all assumed presidents like anyone else in the country could be prosecuted for criminal conduct.”
Arizona AG drops election subversion charges against former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis in exchange for testimony
Former Donald Trump 2020 campaign lawyer Jenna Ellis has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in the Arizona election subversion case, the state’s attorney general announced Monday, and charges against her will be dropped.
Ellis is expected to cooperate with prosecutors and testify against other defendants in the criminal case as part of her deal. She was originally charged with multiple felony counts in Arizona related to her alleged role in the effort to put forward fake slates of electors as part of a broader conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election results on Trump’s behalf.
Last year, Ellis pleaded guilty in the Georgia election case and was sentenced to five years of probation and $5,000 in restitution. Ellis was charged alongside several Trump allies, including his former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and Rudy Giuliani in both Arizona and Georgia. Meadows and Giuliani have pleaded not guilty in both cases.
“If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this experience with deep remorse,” Ellis said in a statement after her guilty plea in Georgia.
US supreme court won’t stop Trump sentencing from going ahead
The USsupreme court has declined to halt Donald Trump’s upcoming sentencing for his conviction in state court in New York on felony charges involving hush money paid to an adult film star, Stormy Daniels, and a related gag order until after the 5 November election.
The decision by the justices came in response to a lawsuit by the state of Missouri claiming that the case against Trump infringed on the right of voters under the US constitution to hear from the Republican presidential nominee as he seeks to regain the White House, Reuters reports.
Trump is set to be sentenced on 18 September in Manhattan. He was found guilty in May of all 34 counts of falsifying business records in a criminal hush-money scheme to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.
The notoriously anti-American 9th circuit court of appeals ruled that asking Americans to provide proof of citizenship to vote is inconvenient to the DNC-CCP’s plans to overthrow the republic using non-American votes. At least that’s the interpretation by many critics. The judges ruled because there’s no requirement in Federal laws that Americans provide proof of citizenship that states can’t make the requirement for themselves.
The judges are arguing from silence (a logical fallacy that assumes silence is the same as prohibition or permission). They assume it could EVER be constitutional for the Federal government to write a law preventing states from requiring citizens to prove they ARE citizens before they vote. Of course, that’s not remotely the case, so it goes without saying the two judges who defied basic American jurisprudence voted not for the Constitution, but for the DNC-CCP.
Arizonans who lack proof of citizenship can again sign up to vote in this year’s presidential and congressional races.
The action comes after two of three judges on a panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals late Thursday overturned a ruling to the contrary by a different three-judge panel whose duty it is to rule on pending motions.
The majority of this panel — the one actually assigned to hear the case — concluded the other judges should never have made such a radical change in voting registration rules so soon before the election, saying it would cause chaos.
Thursday’s ruling restored an order issued last year by U.S. District Court Judge Susan Bolton who had concluded that federal law specifically allowed people to register to vote in federal elections without the same kind of proof that Arizona requires of those wanting to cast ballots in state or local elections.
The ruling provoked an angry reaction from Arizona Senate President Warren Petersen who said it is just another example of “the radical 9th Circuit.”
“They routinely engage in judicial warfare to carry out their extremist liberal agenda that’s contrary to the laws our citizens elected us to implement,” said the Gilbert Republican, who vowed to seek immediate review by the U.S. Supreme Court ahead of the November election.
A similar reaction came from Scot Mussi, president of the Arizona Free Enterprise Club, which crafted the 2022 law at issue. He called it “a travesty of law” and “poorly reasoned.”
Google has learned that its business is currently deemed an illegal monopoly in search and advertising after a ruling by a Federal Court judge. The ruling follows a lengthy anti-trust trial triggered by the Department of Justice suing Google’s parent company Meta.
In a landmark decision, a federal judge ruled on Monday that Google has violated antitrust laws by maintaining an illegal monopoly in the general search services and general search text advertising markets. The ruling comes as a huge blow to the tech giant, often criticized for its vast influence over the internet and user data.
The memorandum opinion issued by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia extensively detailed Google’s monopolistic practices. “Google is a monopolist, and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly,” the court wrote. “It has violated Section 2 of the Sherman Act.” The lawsuit was initially filed by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and 11 states on October 20, 2020, with 38 additional states joining in a subsequent complaint.
The plaintiffs accused Google of using exclusionary agreements to dominate the market for general search services and various online advertising markets. “Google has unlawfully used the distribution agreements to thwart competition and maintain its monopoly,” the complaint asserted. After a lengthy trial process, which included the review of millions of pages of documents and testimony from numerous witnesses, the court’s findings were clear.
The judge noted, “Google’s dominance has gone unchallenged for well over a decade,” and highlighted that by 2020, nearly 90% of all search queries in the United States were handled by Google.
If you take the counsel of President Joe Biden and U.S. Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD), you would have to believe that if Donald Trump wins the election, the Democrats will not let him take power, or if Harris wins, the Trump supporters are going to start a civil war.
Joe Biden suggested civil war if Trump loses, while Raskin suggested civil war should Trump lose. Raskin’s was worse in that he telegraphed, months before the general election, that the Democrats will ONLY honor the result of the Presidential election if the Democrat wins, yet he continues to walk free despite committing an overt act of treason and voter intimidation, to start.
Biden ‘not confident’ of peaceful transition of power in US
US President Joe Biden took a swipe at Republican nominee Donald Trump in his first interview since dropping out of the race
US President Joe Biden has said he doubts that power will be transferred peacefully in January 2025, after the November presidential election, whether it is won by a Democrat or Republican.
Biden made the statement to CBS News on Wednesday in his first interview since dropping out of the race in July, answering the journalist’s question on whether he thought there would be a peaceful transfer of power.
“If Trump wins, no I’m not confident at all. If Trump loses, I’m not confident at all,” Biden replied.
The US president lamented that the public was not taking Trump’s past comments about a “bloodbath” seriously.
“He means what he says. We don’t take him seriously. He means it. All the stuff about ‘If we lose, there’ll be a bloodbath, it’ll have been a stolen election,’” he said, adding that “you can’t love your country only when you win.”
Rep. Jamie Raskin Predicted ‘Civil War Conditions’ To Come
If you listen to U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., the real insurrection will be led by Democrats and it will begin on Jan. 6, 2025 — should the American people dare to elect former President Donald Trump president again.
In a video clip making the rounds Monday on social media, the far left firebrand laments what he characterizes as a lazy U.S. Supreme Court interfering with the Democratic Party’s plan to interfere with the 2024 election.
“And so [the court] want to kick it to Congress, so it’s going to be up to us on Jan. 6, 2025 to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified,” Raskin said in a panel discussion on Feb. 17, as the Supreme Court was mulling the constitutionality of the leftist Colorado secretary of state’s use of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to remove Trump from the state’s presidential primary ballot.
“And then we need bodyguards for everybody and civil war conditions all because nine justices — not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not much work to do, have a huge staff, great protection — simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great 14th Amendment means,” Raskin declared at a Washington, D.C. bookstore gathering of self-important leftists.

Raskin Caught On Tape Explaining Democrats’ SHOCKING Plot To Keep Trump Out Of Office
Congressman Jamie Raskin has (D-MD) been caught on tape detailing a controversial plan to prevent former President Donald Trump from assuming the presidency, even if he is selected by American voters. The video captured Raskin discussing what he sees as a constitutional mechanism to disqualify Trump.
Raskin specifically referenced Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, expressing a chilling determination to use Congress as a barrier against Trump’s reinstatement. “What can be put into the Constitution can slip away from you very quickly. And the greatest example going on right now before our very eyes is Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which they’re just disappearing with a magic wand, as if it doesn’t exist, even though it could not be clearer what it’s stating,” Raskin said.
“They want to kick it to Congress. So it’s going to be up to us on January 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified and then we need bodyguards.”
Raskin went on to criticize the Supreme Court Justices for their alleged reluctance to interpret the 14th Amendment as he believes they should. “For everybody in civil war conditions all because the nine justices, not all of them, but these justices who have not many cases to look at every year, not that much work to do, a huge staff, great protection, simply do not want to do their job and interpret what the great 14th amendment means,” he said.
In an interview regarding Maryland’s “Reproductive Freedom” amendment, parental rights advocate Deborah Brocato told CatholicVote how the proposal, which is supposedly focused on expanding abortion, will have a significant impact on parental rights.
Brocato, who has four children, is a retired intensive care unit nurse who has advocated for parental and family rights for 30 years. She chairs HealthNotHarmMD, a ballot initiative committee in Maryland that fights “to preserve parental rights, preserve constitutional rights, and maintain healthcare integrity by defeating the deceptive ‘Reproductive Freedom’ amendment.”
Brocato discussed the “Reproductive Freedom Amendment” on the Maryland state ballot in November, which reads,
That every person, as a central component of an individual’s right to liberty and equality, has the fundamental right to reproductive freedom, including but not limited to the ability to make and effectuate decisions to prevent, continue, or end one’s own pregnancy. The State may not, directly or indirectly, deny, burden, or abridge the right unless justified by a compelling state interest achieved by the least restrictive means.
