Notorious longtime Democrat Rep. Al Green suffered a humiliating defeat in Texas tonight.

As you may know, Rep. Green has been one of President Trump’s biggest haters and was responsible for pushing multiple impeachment attempts.

He also was kicked out of President Trump’s State of the Union speeches for protesting.

Now, after over two decades in office, Green has been ousted from seat in Congress.

North Carolina elections officials must do more to keep noncitizens off the state’s voter rolls, according to an agreement state and national Republicans signed last week with the North Carolina State Board of Elections.

The Republican National Committee and the North Carolina GOP are heralding the consent judgment as a major election integrity victory — prompted by the RNC’s lawsuit over the NCSBE’s failure to remove foreign nationals from the voter registration database in advance of the 2024 presidential election.

Wake County Superior Court Judge Jennifer Bedford signed off on the deal over the objections of the leftist lawfare firm led by Russia collusion hoaxer Marc Elias.

Beaver Scouts in Scotland took a trip to the Central Scotland Islamic Centre for reasons that will never advance the West. Nonetheless, on that trip, the scouts, boys aged 6-8, bowed to Allah. This should be controversial because there is absolutely zero reason as to why these kids are being religiously indoctrinated. Nonetheless, one boy refused to participate in the Muslim prayer, and that puts him on the right side of history.

According to 5Pillars, “the largest English language Muslim news site in Europe, Australia and the Americas,” the clip “was taken during a Beavers Scouts educational visit to various houses of worship, including a mosque, as part of the ‘Faith Activity Badge.’ The visit took place at Stirling Islamic Centre in Scotland a few days ago.”

In other words, according to local media, this is not indoctrination; it is education. And to call that a bunch of gobbledygook would be an understatement. And LOL to the fact that they just had to throw in the “Islamophobia” slander. In case it was not clear, no one buys that crap anymore.

In order to achieve this badge, Scouts can visit a place of worship and tell other Scouts about what they learned. This can include visiting a mosque to learn about Islam. That explains why they did what they did, but the fact that this is encouraged is proof that Europe has fallen.

In the pursuit of being so incredibly tolerant and inclusive, the left has favored whatever this is; the fact that this is not controversial for many people is a scandal in itself.

The Center for Intellectual Freedom is a comically-named educational institution established by Iowa’s conservative legislature to counter the liberal indoctrination of traditional education. Few students have availed themselves of its “top-tier scholarship,” though, though, leaving commissars with a numbers problem. A solution is at hand: force University of Iowa students to take classes there if they want to graduate.

Republican lawmakers added a provision to a massive budget bill during a 35-hour legislative session requiring University of Iowa students to complete at least six credit hours from the center to earn an undergraduate degree. The bill now heads to Gov. Kim Reynolds’ desk.

The center opened in the spring semester, having been allocated $1m in funding with millions more to come, but enrollment is “dismal”. A report impressed upon its readers the need to require students to take the courses if they are to bother. The bill doesn’t become law until Gov. Kim Reynolds signs it; she may also veto it or use a line-item veto to strip the requirement.

The center launched two one-credit hour classes in late March. Numbers from the University’s website show one class has just 8 of 32 seats filled, and the other has 11 of 32 seats filled. Ben Murrey of the nonprofit research group Common Sense Institute, which the center hired to analyze demand and student interest, said he is not surprised by the low turnout. … “it’s remarkable that they got really any enrollment at all.”

A video of a man being detained in Vancouver by police and a CAR 87 mental health unit team has gone viral, acquiring millions of views on social media.

The detention took place on May 23, 2026. In the video, Nicholas Jordan Wagter could be seen looking to his passenger window while a man identified as Dr. Emory (some posts say “Emery”) is introduced, a resident psychiatrist on rotation with CAR 87, who is “part of a program that includes Vancouver Coastal Health and the Vancouver Police.”

“Every case is a little different,” Emory says. “In your case, I think you were certified under the Mental Health Act just … maybe three weeks ago or four. Where you aware of that?” Emory explains that he had been “certified” by Dr. Christine Taylor – who also works with the mental health response team.

With the midterms looming as summer kicks off, the recent victory of Pennsylvania state Rep. Chris Rabb in the Democrat primary election for the 3rd Congressional District suggests that socialism remains strong on the left.

In the May 19th primary, Rabb defeated the so-called establishment candidate, state Sen. Sharif Street, a former Democrat Party Chair and proud partner of the Philadelphia political machine.

During the campaign, Rabb openly criticized the Democrat Party, blasted the status quo, earned endorsements from progressive groups like the Philadelphia Democratic Socialists of America and Our Revolution, received shout-outs from socialist superstars like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14), praised New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and boldly ran as a democratic socialist.

MEXICO CITY — The Trump administration has deported nearly 13,000 Cubans, Venezuelans and other nationals to Mexico, where they are vulnerable to cartel violence in an unfamiliar country, a report by Human Rights Watch released Wednesday said.

While Mexico has accepted these types of deportations for years, the deportees under the Trump administration are older and have lived in the U.S. for longer than in the past, making it more difficult for them to find work and increasing the urgency of the need for medical care.

The report, which is based on more than 50 interviews in the southern Mexican cities Tapachula and Villahermosa, comes as U.S. President Donald Trump has expanded immigration enforcement to carry out his mass deportation plan.

A new report from the Government Accountability Office found that the Biden administration released nearly 90 percent of migrants encountered at the southern border through parole authority at the height of its catch-and-release policies.

The report details how the Department of Homeland Security under former President Joe Biden and then-DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas dramatically expanded the use of “humanitarian parole” between early 2021 and Jan. 20, 2025.

According to the GAO, parole authority had previously been used sparingly by presidential administrations before Biden took office.

The bizarre incident happened in the town of Scottsbluff, Nebraska state, earlier this week.

Police were called to a convenience store after receiving a report that a person had been shot – with the culprit being a black labrador.

Upon arrival they found a parked truck with major blast damage in one of its doors.

In the back seat, the animal had been left to its own devices – next to the loaded shotgun, KNOP reported.

As the pup bounced from one side of its back seat to another, it somehow managed to pull the trigger.

Eleven months ago in these pages, I argued that task forces would not cut it. President Trump needed a truth and reconciliation commission.

I noted at the time that the Biden administration oversaw one of the most sweeping campaigns of federal abuse in modern American history. Nearly every major department played a role. A truth and reconciliation commission on political persecution would give Americans what they had long been denied: justice, reconciliation, and a full accounting of the truth.

Trump has created an opportunity to help real victims in a real way. Republicans should not kill it. They should make it work.

The Voting Rights Act is widely considered one of the most effective laws in prohibiting racial discrimination in voting. One of its key provisions has long allowed states to take race into account when drawing voting maps to ensure that nonwhite voters have electoral power. But earlier this year, the Supreme Court narrowed that provision. In her dissent, Justice Elena Kagan described the court’s decision as the “now-completed demolition of the Voting Rights Act.”

Texas state Sen. Mayes Middleton has won the Republican runoff for Texas attorney general.

The Associated Press called the race for Middleton at 9:57 p.m. EDT when he had a 55.8% to 44.2% lead over Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas.

The runoff election comes after neither candidate obtained at least 50% of the vote in their respective primary races on March 3.

Despite pushing a hardline conservative agenda in the U.S. House—including authoring the SAVE America Act and co-founding the Sharia-Free America Caucus—Roy fell short of securing the party’s nomination.

While President Donald Trump has not weighed in on the race, Middleton secured endorsements from Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and his former primary opponent, Aaron Reitz.

Nearly every animal species, including humans, has blood cells. But blood is not the same across the animal kingdom. Different species have evolved different types of blood and immune cells, reflecting millions of years of adaptation against infection and disease.

Scientists already understand a great deal about the makeup and function of blood cells in humans and mice thanks to advances in hematology and immunology. What has remained unclear is how these cells first appeared and evolved over time. To answer those questions, researchers at Kyoto University set out to trace the origins and diversification of blood cells across the animal world.

A French mother who allegedly abandoned her two young children in a forest in Portugal while blindfolded was arrested with her former law enforcement boyfriend while eating at a café near Libson.

Marine Rousseau, 41, was taken into custody Thursday with Marc Ballabriga, 55, two days after the couple allegedly dumped her helpless 3- and 5-year-old children in a remote forest and left, according to Portuguese and French media.

“They stayed sitting and didn’t seem nervous,” café owner Jorge Lopes told the news outlet. “They were searched and handcuffed without any stress at all. When I saw them so at ease in front of the authorities, I was astonished. It was as if they didn’t have blood running through their veins.”

In late March around 15 religious thinkers met with the artificial intelligence company Anthropic to discuss one of the strangest and most consequential questions now facing the AI industry: How do you teach a chatbot to be good?

The invitations to these meetings had arrived in different ways. Greg Cootsona’s came via e-mail. Brian Patrick Green’s came via a friend of a friend after Anthropic asked for suggested names. Both ended up in a series of conversations with the company about Claude, Anthropic’s chatbot, and the moral framework meant to guide how it behaves.

The aim wasn’t to make the chatbot Bible-thumping or pious. But it was an acknowledgment that centuries-old traditions of moral reasoning might offer insights to a five-year-old frontier AI lab whose systems are becoming more capable, more persuasive and harder to govern by simple rules.

China just launched fake human embryos to its space station for a new research mission

China’s artificial embryos are part of an experiment to learn more about how human pregnancies could develop under microgravity conditions

Science Photo Library–ZEPHYR/Getty Images

A clutch of artificial human embryos on China’s Tiangong space station could help researchers better understand whether human pregnancies in space are possible and safe.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences says the experiment marks the first study on human artificial embryos in space. The artificial embryos are actually structures derived from stem cells, and they mimic how embryos form during the early days of pregnancy. These structures wouldn’t be able to develop into humans even if they were implanted into a uterus. Researchers originally conceived these artificial embryolike structures as a model to study the earliest moments of development because of widespread international rules aimed at restricting research on real human embryos that are older than two weeks after fertilization.
