Every now and again, someone in Congress takes advantage of having this or that weasel to question under oath. Sen. John Kennedy is a master at making them squirm, and all he does is calmly ask the kinds of questions Normal Americans would ask, and particularly, the kinds of follow-up questions the media and congressional Democrats never ask of Democrats. He’s never rude or angry. He doesn’t insult anyone, but when a witness is concealing something or lying, or says something absolutely stupid, he calls them on it to great comic effect.
