An earthquake has been recorded in southern Iran, the third major quake in just over a day.
A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck Sargaz in Iran’s southern Hormozgan province at a depth of 22km in the early hours of Tuesday, June 9.
Local media reported that the quake was also felt in the Kerman province.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, according to Mehr news agency.
The earthquake has caused no damage, local media reported the province’s crisis management chief as saying.
