Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has attacked President Donald Trump’s supporters, taking particular at black MAGA voters.
During a new interview with HBO’s Bill Maher, Lemon smeared Trump supporters as “really f**king racist.”
He continued by arguing that black people who vote for Trump are not “rational.”
On the latest episode of Maher’s “Club Random” podcast published Sunday, Lemon said:
“I don’t think you can be black and be a rational MAGA person.
“I think you can be black and be a Republican.”
Maher, the longtime host of HBO’s “Real Time,” countered that black Trump supporters would probably find Lemon’s appraisal of them “very insulting.”
“Well, the truth is often insulting,” Lemon replied.
