A postseason track meet in California began Saturday with a “Save Girls’ Sports” rally, taking place outside of the gates. Unfortunately, the event concluded in the same fashion that we’ve seen before, with a transgender athlete absolutely dominating the competition in multiple jumping events. The situation only adds fuel to the fire of the concern regarding protection for girls and women in female sports.

A lot of attention was drawn to the Yorba Linda-based CIF Southern Section Division 3 preliminaries prior to competition beginning as a result of protestors going against the California policy of permitting trans athletes to participate in female sports.

The Biden administration’s Department of Justice and FBI were aware that the Southern Poverty Law Center was paying “informants” in the KKK — and according to former Obama official Norm Eisen, that apparently means donors have nothing to be upset about.

The SPLC (which has spent years demonizing conservatives, including The Federalist) was indicted by a federal grand jury last month for wire fraud and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering. The SPLC allegedly funneled millions of dollars it received via donations to pay “a covert network of informants” who were part of “violent extremist groups” such as groups like the KKK. The press release for the indictment alleges that SPLC did not disclose to its donors that “some of their donated money was being used to fund the leaders and organizers of racist groups at the same time that the SPLC was denouncing the same groups on its website.” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement that SPLC was “manufacturing racism to justify its existence.”

But during a virtual press conference Wednesday held by Democracy Defenders Fund, Eisen suggested the SPLC defrauding donors by funding the KKK could not have been wrong because Biden’s justice agencies were aware of it.

The Supreme Court recently issued another ruling that seeks to end racial discrimination. most recently in specially-created political districts. What has not been an issue, because it was not obvious like universities and Louisiana politics, is how grants get chosen.A new study says that there was a component of racial favoritism in science funding as well, and it’s only been revealed in the wake of NIH grant cuts.

To the public, science is like sports – a meritocracy. The best win. The reality is more like politics. It helps to have friends, and it’s important that you say you will do what they want you to do. After the COVID-19 vaccine saved millions of lives and got a Nobel Prize, for example, both the NIH and the University of Pennsylvania attached themselves to it. Both were blatantly lying. The NIH had refused to fund the mRNA work of Katalin Karikó, Ph.D. Penn not only refused her tenure, they demoted her because she believed in mRNA but the federal government did not. She quit academia specifically because she knew the private sector funded nearly all actual basic research(1) while government often wanted to engage in cultural agendas or fund ‘safe’ studies guaranteed to show a positive result before the grant was up.

‘Allowing biological males into spaces designed for women raises serious concerns about privacy, fairness, and compliance under federal law,’ department leader says

The U.S. Department of Education opened an investigation into the supposedly women-only Smith College on Monday in response to a complaint alleging discrimination on “the basis of sex by admitting males who identify as women.”

“An all-women’s college loses all meaning if it is admitting biological males,” Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Kimberly Richey stated in a news release.

“Allowing biological males into spaces designed for women raises serious concerns about privacy, fairness, and compliance under federal law. The Trump Administration will continue to uphold the law and fight to restore common sense,” Richey stated.

The department also sent a letter to Defending Education, a conservative watchdog group, informing it of the investigation.

Pro-life advocates have long warned about Planned Parenthood’s role in ending innocent lives through abortion, but now the threat has expanded. The abortion giant is not only ending lives in the present but it is advancing practices that may prevent future generations of children from ever being conceived.

How? By targeting minors with medical interventions that can lead to permanent sterility.

This is not speculation. It can be clearly seen in Planned Parenthood’s expanding involvement in providing so-called gender-transition services.

A review by Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee found that 14 Planned Parenthood regional reports – the regions that consistently publish comparable data – recorded a more than 40 percent increase in reported ‘gender-affirming care,’ visits, or services from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025. Because Planned Parenthood’s national 2024-2025 annual report does not provide a national total for ‘gender-affirming care,’ CWALAC aggregated figures from regional reports that publish comparable data. Planned Parenthood’s national gender-care page lists estrogen and anti-androgen therapy, testosterone therapy, puberty blockers, surgery referrals, and transition support, while noting that not every health center offers every service.

“This is several years in a row now that this number has increased despite society for the most part turning its back and reversing course on a lot of this,” Macy Petty, a legislative strategist for CCA, told the Daily Wire. “Planned Parenthood has found a way to continue this harmful and destructive business.”

“I don’t want to see the police monitoring Sunday services!” Smith told a crowd of nearly 1,000 Christians and pastors over the weekend while speaking at the Alberta Christian Leadership Summit.

“Faith is to be expressed openly and carried into the public square.”

A host of Alberta and Canadian Christian politicians gathered with pastors of churches to talk about faith and its importance in society. Campaign Life Coalition (CLC) was there with a booth.

Smith was invited to be the main speaker at the event, which saw hundreds gather to share the importance of Christianity in public life and politics. Her speech touched on several issues, but she did speak out against the controversial Bill C-9.

At a fundraiser in early January, Nevada Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo outright admitted to donors he wasn’t the most inspiring candidate. “I am not enough of a motor—uh, a motivator—as a governor candidate to get them off the couch,” he said on a recording obtained by the Nevada Independent.

“We have a couple ballot initiatives we’re going to initiate in order to get voters out,” Gov. Lombardo reassured the room.

But the governor had a plan to fix it. “We have a couple ballot initiatives we’re going to initiate in order to get voters out,” he reassured the room. One measure would mandate photos IDs at the polls, a policy that targets racial minorities. The other initiative would tap into a newer but no less virulent strain of right-wing grievance: “The second thing we’re going to do is this thing called Men in Women’s Sports,” Lombardo said at another event last October, referring to a Nevada constitutional amendment he proposed earlier this year that would ban trans girls and women from playing on girls’ school sports teams.

“Yay!” a few listeners responded. “Yeah!”

“That’s going to get people out to vote,” the governor continued. “Because, just from the groans in the room, I think they’re going to support it.”

The policy sometimes “required employees to hide the new names and pronouns from parents,” the legal advocacy group said.

According to documents obtained by Defending Education, the county, home to the Charlottesville metro area and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, is fully steeped in “anti-racism” — an ideology used in curriculums to browbeats white students into denying their self-worth as human beings based on race. The majority of ACPS students are white.

“Albemarle Schools don’t only promote a worldview based in social justice ideology but they tell students that they too must hold this worldview,” Erika Sanzi, Senior Director of Communications at Defending Education, told The Federalist. “Teachers’ lessons are judged using an anti-racist vetting tool to ensure they are sufficiently integrating power and privilege and teaching students to resist oppression. Instead, New College professors make land acknowledgements official policy

A recent proposal to end land acknowledgments at faculty business meetings for Arizona State University’s New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Science was rejected before reaching the floor.

Instead, professors approved a resolution to make a Native American land acknowledgement official policy and continue to read it before every faculty meeting.

“My motion to keep meetings non-political and no longer have a required land acknowledgement read at the beginning of every meeting failed. And this is important: they voted to not even vote on it,” Professor Owen Anderson told The College Fix.

Each faculty meeting begins with a statement acknowledging the campus “sits on Native American land,” he said in an interview, adding he believes this conflicts with university bylaws that prohibit using faculty meeting time for political purposes.

“They did not even want to allow it to come to a vote,” he said, describing the decision as censorship. “Faculty meetings should remain about faculty business.”

Rasmusen retired in 2021, but decided not to apply for emeritus status until last year when the university stopped offering free access to online journal subscriptions for faculty who were retired but not emeritus, Rasmusen wrote recently on his substack.

“If I continue to be denied access, I will accept that,” he told The College Fix in a recent interview. “It isn’t fair, but I can ask friends at Indiana University and elsewhere to look up scholarly articles if I need them.”

Typically, professors who retire in good status are awarded the title “emeritus,” but Rasmusen said he was not. He believes the answer to this question goes back to 2019 and a controversial social media post about men and IQ.

In a long and remarkably unpleasant hearing on Monday, the California legislature discussed a proposal to allocate $26 million in state funds to pay for pediatric transgender interventions. Legislators proudly declared their support for “trans” kids, and for the doctors who perform their procedures. But the joint session between two budget subcommittees, one from the Senate and one from the Assembly, had the opposite of the intended effect. The testimony made it remarkably clear that California is doing CPR on a dead fetish.

News coverage of the hearing focused on a second panel of witnesses, made up of pro-trans witnesses. But the first panel to testify, made up entirely of state lawyers and health care regulators, established a less-noticed theme. Facing repeated demands from the chair, Sen. Caroline Menjivar, to explain why they weren’t punishing the many hospitals and health care systems in the state that have stopped providing pediatric trans procedures following changes in federal policy, the state officials kept defaulting to the same answer.

You don’t need to be a biologist to understand there is a physical difference between males and females. This is such a well-known fact that even cavemen understand this concept. The left, however, woke up one day and decided that there is no difference, despite reality proving otherwise. This is why the Department of Justice is suing Minnesota, as they have allowed boys to invade the female division of sports for far too long.

According to the New York Post:

The Department of Justice sued Minnesota on Monday for discriminating against female athletes by letting biological males compete against them and enter their bathrooms and locker rooms.

These asinine policies don’t just destroy the integrity of the game: They actively jeopardize women’s safety.

The suit, filed in Minnesota federal court, alleges that the state’s Department of Education and the Minnesota State High School League have been implementing policies and practices that ignored “undeniable physiological differences between male and female athletes” in violation of Title IX.

To claim the state ignored “undeniable physiological differences” would be an understatement at this point.

Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon noted in the 45-page civil filing that the state also committed the violations while taking more than $3 billion in federal funding per year and agreeing to uphold nondiscriminatory policies.

USC was set to hold a debate for California’s gubernatorial candidates. There was no problem with this, so a disgruntled candidate made one up. Subsequently, the event was canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time because the candidates were too white for the left.

According to The Desert Sun:

Former U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, a Democratic candidate for governor, accused USC of using an “arbitrary formula that favors wealthy candidates” and said the criteria resulted in the exclusion of all candidates of color from the debate.

In other words, Becerra was beside himself, as he could not comprehend how he did not meet this “viability” score.

Maybe, just maybe, the reason he did not qualify for the debate had nothing to do with skin color and everything to do with the fact that he is polling at 3%.

USC said it stood by the independence of the data-driven formula used to determine candidate “viability,” but acknowledged the controversy had become a distraction from issues voters care about.

“We recognize that concerns about the selection criteria for tomorrow’s gubernatorial debate have created a significant distraction from the issues that matter to voters,” the university said, adding that it would “look for other opportunities to educate voters on the candidates and issues”.

Princeton professors discuss resisting Trump administration’s anti-DEI policies at panel

Faculty at Princeton University are organizing opposition to the Trump administration’s efforts to eliminate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, with panelists warning that the policies could affect academic freedom on campus.

About 30 professors gathered for a recent American Association of University Professors (AAUP) panel to discuss how faculty should respond to the Department of Education under President Donald Trump, as the group reportedly increased its meeting frequency in response to federal actions targeting DEI initiatives.

The panel featured Princeton professor Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor and Institute for Advanced Study professor emerita Joan W. Scott, who argued that recent federal policies reflect a broader effort to influence higher education. Taylor said at the meeting as reported by The Daily Princetonian that the changes have “created conditions of fear, intimidation, and repression on college campuses.”

Speakers also pointed to organizations such as the Heritage Foundation as influential in policy discussions surrounding higher education reform and DEI programs.
