Melat Kiros, a socialist congressional candidate challenging incumbent Democrat Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado’s 1st Congressional District, believes there is a need for a “Trans Bill of Rights,” considering it “horrific” to protect children from gender mutilation surgery.
Kiros announced that her campaign page was being updated to include a “Trans Bill of Rights,” during an appearance on the Call Me Limbo podcast.
“Like, we’re actually updating the website right now. I wrote all of our policy page a year ago now, but we’re updating it this week, and some of the things that we’re adding in there is also a Trans Bill of Rights,” she said, calling for greater “force” in pushing the transgender agenda.
“You know, I think we have to be so forceful and clear and aggressive in our protection and our advocacy for the trans community, especially for trans kids,” she continued, asserting that there are ballot measures in Colorado coming up that she considers to be “just horrific” and “absolutely destructive for young trans kids.”
The UFC Event staged on the White House Lawn was allegedly almost marred by bombing drones and snipers. According to the FBI, 23 anti-capitalist and anti-Israel activists were plotting to murder Americans on the White House lawn.

A Southern Poverty Law Center executive is accused of being the lover of the head of a Neo-Nazi group in a DOJ indictment filing. The document alleges an executive believed to be Heidi Beirich funneled $1.2 million to her lover, which was part of a larger $4 million payments. The SPLC is accused of paying the group to stage racist events that would then be cited in their fundraising campaigns.

The report found that $759 million in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families cash assistance was provided to 85,277 households nationwide in which a child qualified for benefits while a parent was living in the United States illegally.

Under a series of Democratic governors, the program has expanded to include gay-owned businesses. In September 2014, then-Governor Jerry Brown signed legislation requiring CPUC to recognize “LGBT-owned businesses” as eligible for supplier-diversity benefits. Five years later, Governor Gavin Newsom expanded the program further, “encouraging” other companies involved in the energy sector to award contracts to gay-owned firms.

The grieving father of a white teen murdered by a black teen is actually to blame for his death, according to a Howard University professor.
Last week, a Texas jury found Karmelo Anthony guilty of murder after he stabbed Austin Metcalf in the heart during a confrontation in April 2025 at a track meet. Anthony argued he acted out of self-defense after Metcalf pushed him during an argument under a tent.
Coming to Anthony’s defense is Professor Stacey Patton, who teaches journalism at Howard University. Patton has previously suggested Charlie Kirk “paid” the “price” for supporting gun rights. She also previously defended riots in Baltimore and suggested racial jokes by comedians can be to blame for the killings of black people.
Patton, in a long post on her Substack page, blamed Jeff Metcalf, the father of the murdered teen, for the death, saying he was a “failure.”

A new report has revealed that anti-Christian extremism and “assassination culture” could have fueled a recent assassination attempt that targeted the widow of Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk, who is now leading Turning Point USA. The report comes as threats against public officials have increased.
Jacob Wenske, 26, was charged in late May with one count of making a terroristic threat involving public fear of serious bodily injury or public disruption after he allegedly planned to bomb a Turning Point USA event where Kirk was set to speak as the keynote.
At the time, he wrote in an email to Turning Point USA that he was targeting Kirk as well as other “Christian nationalists,” according to police documents. The suspect had also posted multiple threats on social media in addition to the email, according to the Fox News.
The threats against Kirk allegedly from Wenske emerge as there have been a record number of threats against members of Congress as well as other political figures in the US. According to the US Capitol Police Threat Assessment, there was a 58 percent increase in threats against members of Congress from 2024 to 2025.

Question: How has this mandate made residents better off? When mandating certain insignificant preferences be prioritized when awarding special contracts, the state ought to be held to some accountability. Why does no one care?

In practice, this meant establishing a “goal” for utility companies with annual revenues exceeding $25 million to buy things from state-certified LGBT businesses: 0.5 percent of procurement in 2022; 1 percent in 2023; and 1.5 percent in 2024 and beyond. If “large” CPUC-regulated utilities met these “goals” in 2024, they would have sent roughly $633 million to LGBT-owned firms.

But judging from his first term, when we subpoenaed, for example, administration officials in the Russia Ukraine investigations, they basically stonewall the subpoenas. In fact, Trump was impeached in that first impeachment, not just for trying to extort Zelensky to get him to help cheat in the election, but also because he was stonewalling, congressional subpoenas. So I don’t think we can expect a whole lot from the administration, but we can subpoena the private sector and they will need to comply. So all of the crypto deals and meme coin deals, the UFC fight, all the back channeling on the Paramount SkyDance, and Warner Brothers mergers, whether there are promises made of changing editorial content, all of that kind of corruption, potential corruption, we will be able to look into.”

The BBC has announced another round of deep cuts as the progressive content marketer continues to lose standing and relevancy among the British people. This time, the cuts are coming in the news division, with 2,000 people targeted for layoffs.
DoorDash’s employees use an app called Deed to facilitate charitable giving and volunteer work. DoorDash has just informed Deed it needs to disregard the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate map” and allow its employees to choose causes regardless of SPLC’s opinion of them. The move was triggered by the Alliance Defending Freedom, who urged DoorDash to drop the SPLC’s guidance.
