“No Kings” protesters could not name a reason why they were protesting against President Donald Trump during the nationwide demonstrations on Saturday.
Organizers of the protests claimed that 7 million anti-Trump protesters turned out in major U.S. cities to reject so-called “authoritarianism” and “affirm” that the nation does not belong to kings. Several of these protesters could come up with a single reason for why they are protesting Trump.
One woman went silent as she tried to come up with the “main reason” why she is protesting Trump.
The woman is named Lucy Martinez and is employed by Chicago Public Schools.
A Chicago Public School teacher has been accused of appearing to mock the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. The video, which circulated widely on social media, shows a woman making the gesture of firing a gun at her own neck, seemingly referencing Kirk’s death. Others cheered in the background.
Nathan Hale Elementary in the Chicagoland area which serves mostly Hispanic students, has removed the profile of the teacher, who is named Lucy Martinez. The school also shut down its website, saying that it is “under construction.” The Post Millennial reached out to Martinez, as well as Chicago Public Schools but did not a receive a response at the time of publication.
Hollywood celebrities went wild for the anti-Trump “No Kings” protests this weekend, appearing at various events around the country.
From Ben Stiller to Cynthia Nixon to Pedro Pascal, Spike Lee, Glenn Close, and Jamie Lee Curtis, celebrities took to social media to share their experiences and flash their anti-Trump signs.
Jamie Lee Curtis was among the many celebrities who showed support for the No Kings rallies and later shared several photos to her Instagram, captioning the post: “SIGNS ‘O THE TIMES! Democracy in ACTION!”
Over the weekend, Leftists held their “No Kings” protests across the country. The turnout must not have been great, because several people, including Senator Elizabeth Warren, shared a 2017 video of a massive crowd and pretended turn out was high.
In reality, the protests were small and populated by White Leftist boomers. But there were some ugly signs and speakers, including the woman who mocked Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the Leftist in Chicago who called on the crowd to shoot and “take out” ICE agents, and cringe-worthy chants from George Conway.
The Wisconsin Democrats were also busted for sharing a post that included a pic of a protester wishing death on President Trump, a la the French Revolution.
Attendance was so bad, the legacy media was using protest shots from years ago. Worse still, the smattering of crowds were all old, white hippies.
MSNBC falsely aired video from 2017 claiming it was LIVE footage from yesterday’s “No Kings” rally in Boston in order to portray a massive turnout for “No Kings.” It was anything but.
These are theatrics, performances engineered by the global left elite (Soros et al). The bottom line is the far left is a fringe movement amplified by the Democrats and their media axis. They control big media and they rig elections so , in their minds, it’s a fait accompli. The people be damned.
Ian Andre Roberts, the illegal alien ineligible for employment in the U.S. but hired in Iowa as superintendent at the Des Moines School District, is a registered Maryland voter.
By law, only U.S. citizens are allowed to register to vote in U.S. elections, but an election watchdog group, the American Accountability Foundation (AAF), looked into voter registration in states where Roberts previously lived and found he registered to vote as a Democrat twice, once in 2011 and again in 2016.
It raises questions about how many other illegal aliens or otherwise ineligible people have successfully registered to vote. As AAF president Tom Jones told Fox 45, “We can’t rely on the honor system to hope that illegal aliens won’t lie to us.”
Other signs read “No detentions,” and marchers were seen alongside a large banner that read “All Nazis go to hell.”
Protesters participating in the “No Kings” demonstrations in New York City on Saturday were seen holding signs labeling several well-known Democrats and public figures as “Antifa,” including Gavin Newsom, Zohran Mamdani, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Jimmy Kimmel.
Footage posted by Turning Point USA’s Frontlines’ Savanah Hernandez showed protesters carrying posters depicting these notable democrats with the word “ANTIFA” printed above their images. Other signs read “No detentions,” and marchers were seen alongside a large banner that read “All Nazis go to hell.”
A self-described “anti-fascist” protester at a Washington D.C. “No Kings” protest on Saturday admitted to receiving training ahead of the nationwide demonstrations, which Democrats have attempted to frame as an organic display of public opinion.
While reporting from the National Mall, Newsmax correspondent Alana Austin spoke with a woman holding an Antifa-related sign, who described herself as “antifascist,” though she stopped short of claiming any affiliation with the group. The anti-Trump protester also appeared to insinuate that the group — which operates hundreds of named chapters across the globe — does not exist.
The “No Kings” rallies are taking place again. On Saturday, October 18, more than 2,000 events will be held in every state of the union. Their purpose? To protest President Donald Trump and to allegedly reclaim America as a democracy instead of a monarchy.
The liberal groups sponsoring the rallies are all the usual suspects — the ACLU, MoveOn.org, Human Rights Campaign, and more.
This weekend’s events, one of which will feature Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, were first held back in June on Trump’s 79th birthday.
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) is suggesting Democrats may attempt to prosecute Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents for enforcing federal immigration law.
During an interview with FOX 32 Chicago this week, Pritzker proposed prosecuting DHS officials and ICE agents for arresting illegal aliens in the sanctuary state of Illinois.
“The tables will turn one day,” Prtizker told reporter Paris Schutz: These people should recognize that maybe they’re not gonna get prosecuted today, although we’re looking at doing that, but they may get prosecuted after the Trump administration because the statute of limitations would not have run out. [Emphasis added] Pritzker said he was in talks with Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul (D) and other attorneys regarding a potential criminal investigation into DHS officials and ICE agents.
“We’re talking to the state’s attorneys and Attorney General to see how they can go at this because what we want to make sure is that they follow the law,” Pritzker said.
“DHS extended fencing at the Broadview Processing Center after rioters and sanctuary politicians obstructed law enforcement, threw tear gas cans, rocks, bottles, and fireworks…”
In the wake of a judge ordering a fence outside a Chicago-area ICE facility be removed, crews were seen on Tuesday night working to take it down. The Broadview ICE facility had until 11:59 pm on Tuesday night to comply with the court and remove it.
Workers were seen dismantling the fence outside the facility on Tuesday night, and per Fox 32, concrete barriers were put up in their place near the facility.
DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION—Leftists are calling for veterans of “the George Floyd revolt” to join upcoming “No Kings” rallies against President Donald Trump on Saturday.
CrimethInc, an international anarchist group, encouraged supporters on Thursday to engage in “anti-authoritarian” uprisings similar to the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots when the nationwide anti-Trump rallies take place. The post recommended “direct action planning,” a phrase CrimethInc defines as mobilizing people to cause a public disruption even if it risks arrest.

The Trump administration is looking for alternative ways to ensure federal law enforcement officers are paid as the government shutdown enters its third week.
With Democrats and Republicans locked in a stalemate over the shutdown, officials in government are exploring alternative ways of paying for some key programmes, including a food programme for women and children.
Members of the US military, meanwhile, will be paid using funds previously allocated to the Pentagon following an order from President Donald Trump.
22 U.S. states provide in-state tuition for illegal immigrant students, with 18 of these states also offering additional financial aid, despite federal restrictions established by the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996.
The Trump administration has challenged these state policies via lawsuits, citing the need to enforce existing laws prohibiting residency-related benefits for illegal immigrants.
Critics of the legal challenges claim that denying in-state tuition undermines state economies and education systems, as it restricts access to affordable education for a significant number of students.
How over the edge is the left in Los Angeles County? A lot. They proved it, big time, with the move they made on Tuesday.
Los Angeles County officials voted Tuesday to declare a state of emergency that gives them power to provide assistance for residents they say have suffered financially from ongoing federal immigration raids.
The move allows the L.A. County Board of Supervisors to provide rent relief for tenants who have fallen behind as a result of the crackdown on immigrants. [….]
The local state of emergency can also funnel state money for legal aid and other services.
Democrats are keeping the government closed for the sake of “No Kings” mass protests scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18.
We already have a no kings day – it’s called July 4th.
Ironic, is it not, that the far left radicals who refuse to accept the results of the Presidential election are whining about “kings.”
Rep. Tom Emmer (R-MN) correctly calls the Democrat planned ‘No Kings’ rally on October 18 the ‘Hate America’ rally.
He adds Schumer “can’t end this shutdown because this small but very violent and vocal group is the only one that’s happy about this.”pic.twitter.com/yzI8D609LG
Mexican drug cartels have seen their profits decimated as the Trump administration ramps up its drone strikes on traffickers and pressures the country’s government to root out corruption and supply chains. Now, the drug lords are striking back, offering contract killers five-figure paydays to kill federal agents.
An epicenter of the conflict is Chicago which, although far from the southern border, has become a battleground between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the cartels supplying the windy city with drugs and illegal immigrants.
Luis Gerardo Pirela-Ramirez and Yonder Enrique Tenefe-Perez were taken into custody on Tuesday morning for allegedly ramming the vehicle and attempting to flee the scene.
Two Venezuelan illegal immigrants were arrested in Chicago on Tuesday after allegedly ramming their vehicle into a Border Patrol vehicle.
A senior DHS source told Fox News that Luis Gerardo Pirela-Ramirez and Yonder Enrique Tenefe-Perez were taken into custody on Tuesday morning for allegedly ramming the vehicle near South Avenue N and attempting to flee the scene.
After federal agents raided an apartment building in Chicago to arrest Tren de Aragua gang members, MSNBC personalities repeatedly spread the fake news that agents zip-tied children. And, even though no one died in the raid, they also promoted hyperbolic comparisons to the Gestapo, the Tulsa killings of 1921, and the MOVE Philadelphia bombing of 1985.
Fox News not only highlighted DHS’s fact check that debunks Democrat misinformation on the subject, but Fox reporters also informed viewers that most of those living in the building were illegal squatters.
Skirmishes between ICE and “activists” continue to break out in Chicago, and some “journalists” are learning that claiming that title after the fact isn’t a get-out-of-detainment-free card.
Despite the Democrat-led city being ravaged by a murder epidemic, mostly caused by out-of-control gang violence, left-wingers have decided that the real problem is ICE deporting violent illegal aliens. Using tracking apps and other means, they show up at facilities and during raids to try to impede federal immigration officials. One of those people was Debbie Brockman, who is a video editor and producer for the creative services department of Chicago television station WGN.
Video shows her pinned on the ground by ICE agents as she’s detained and placed in the back of a vehicle. During the scene, she started proclaiming she’s a journalist.
“If you see something happening in Wilmette, in our communities, make sure to give them a call, take out your phone and take video.”
A Democrat running for Illinois State Senate, Patrick Hanley, revealed that agents were staying at a local hotel and urged his followers to call the hotel in an effort to get them to “reconsider whether or not they let government agents stay there in the future.” He also urged his followers to call an ICE reporting hotline if they “see something happening.”
Tensions flared outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland on Saturday as Antifa agitators squared off with federal law enforcement. Then an unexpected development occurred. A group of demonstrators arrived carrying a massive painting of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.
The group sang “God Bless the USA” and chanted “We are Charlie Kirk” as federal agents stood between them and the crowd of left-wing agitators gathered nearby.
Kirk, a conservative American icon, was assassinated on September 10, 2025. The suspect is a far-leftist who had Antifa messages on his bullet casings.
Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, opened the oversight hearing of the Department of Justice (DOJ) pushing a new narrative Democrats have latched on to: the lie that ICE agents zip-tied children during a Chicago raid.
“In the middle of the night, federal agents pulled women and children out of their beds, crashed down the doors to their homes, destroyed their apartments, zip-tied children and others, and detained immigrants and U.S. citizens alike for hours in vans,” Durbin claimed. “When one witness complained about the treatment of the small children, an agent laughed at her and said, ‘F them kids.’”
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker gave a dramatic description of this same story during a Monday press conference and has been repeating it every chance he gets.
But Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin posted that “children were never zip-tied.”
“This is a shameful and disgusting lie. POTUS Trump and Secretary Noem will not let children be exploited and trafficked by gangs and criminals like the past administration.”
Our message to JB Pritzker: Get out of your mansion & go see Chicago.
A day after @DHSGov law enforcement was attacked by domestic terrorists in Chicago, Pritzker goes on @CNN to serve up a smorgasbord of lies.
Pope Leo XIV is being lobbied by Catholic bishops and nuns to endorse more migration flows, regardless of the vast civic and economic damage inflicted on citizens, Western societies, and the migrants’ home countries.
So far, the Pope is responding with generalities without detailed policy implications or direct opposition to Trump’s popular deportation of illegal migrants,
“In the communities of ancient Christian tradition, such as those of the West, the presence of many brothers and sisters from the world’s South should be welcomed as an opportunity, through an exchange that renews the face of the Church,” the Pope declared on October 5.
“Often [migrants] maintain their strength while seeking a better future, in spite of the obstacles that they encounter,” Leo said Oct. 2 in a meeting with Catholic migration advocates.
“You can read into [his comments] what you want when it comes to specifics of government policy, responded Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies, which favors lower levels of migration into Americans’ society.
The mistake that people — both in and outside the Catholic Church or any other church, — is that they imagine that the lessons of the Gospel and of the Fathers of the Church are somehow a 10-Point white paper on how we should run [immigration] policy. In fact they [provide] general rules about how to think about these questions, and different people will come to different conclusions.
Masked, armed law enforcement agents who regularly violate the law and strip people of their constitutional rights is nothing new in America. They have, in fact, a long and well-documented history, including states — after years of abuse by masked men — passing laws specifically to prevent them from concealing their identities when performing law enforcement operations.
In this era, we call them Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents; during the late 19th and early to mid-20th centuries they called themselves the Ku Klux Klan. They often operated with the blessing of both federal and state governments, deputized and given badges and guns, and “enforced the law” while wearing their famous white hoods to conceal their individual identities.
ICE operates today with a level of anonymity, impunity and intimidation that closely parallels the Ku Klux Klan’s tactics as masked, semi-official enforcers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Both used legal or quasi-legal authority, masked identities and violent or coercive tactics to carry out their missions, all without individual accountability while targeting vulnerable minorities and subverting legal norms to do so.
A University of Chicago professor who described her employer as “evil” and a “colonial landlord” over the summer is now facing felony charges for alleged aggravated battery against a police officer.
The charges stem from sociology Professor Eman Abdelhadi’s involvement in a protest Friday near an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Broadview, Illinois, The Chicago Maroonreports.
Abdelhadi was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated battery, a felony, and two counts of obstructing the peace, a misdemeanor, according to information the Cook County Sheriff’s Office provided to Fox News Digital on Monday.
In a post Monday on Bluesky, the professor appeared to suggest that law enforcement officers were the ones to blame for the violence at the protest.
“Claim: rioters attacked ICE,” Abdelhadi wrote. “Truth: ICE rushed at unarmed protesters standing on a patch of grass.”
She also reposted a video of herself yelling “Shame!” at police officers while wearing a “Free Palestine” T-shirt.
