Then, guest Elise Jordan, co-host of The Weekend: Primetime, naively wondered why the military and Secretary Pete Hegseth have not shared all their classified war plans with the public.
The Morning Joe hosts and panelists also had a special focus on how the actions in Iran were supposedly not “America First,” even though the President has talked about Iran not being allowed to have a nuclear weapon since the 2016 election.

Bizarrely, our media composed puffy obituaries for the Ayatollah and gave Iran’s foreign minister a softball platform when they all pressure each other to be ever more hostile in questioning our elected president.
MRC President David Bozell and NewsBusters Associate Editor Nick Fondacaro joined the show. Nick pointed out that over the weekend, The Washington Post ran an obituary titled: “Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, is dead at 86.” The paper warmly remembered the brutal Islamic dictator as a “avuncular figure” with an “easy smile” and a love for “Persian poetry.” Why must American press outlets swoon over our enemies like that?
The Astara Border Crossing between Iran and Azerbaijan has seen increased traffic over the last few days by foreign nations, as many continue to seek an exit from Tehran amid continued US and Israeli attacks.
The increased crossing traffic comes after the Azerbaijani government announced on Saturday that it would open the crossing to enable its nationals trapped in Iran to safely evacuate, as well as allow foreign nations to transit through.
As many as 500 Russian citizens are rumoured to have crossed into Azerbaijan as part of the new initiative, with eyewitnesses reporting seeing large groups passing security checkpoints.

Israel has perhaps the most advanced missile defense system in the world. However, it is not foolproof. Some of Iran’s missiles will get through. On Sunday, that is what happened. A missile fired by Iran landed in the city of Beit Shemesh, killing nine civilians and injuring many more. May their memory be a blessing. Rest assured that the Israeli Defense Forces will avenge this loss.

US President Donald Trump has dismissed polls indicating that a majority of Americans disapprove of his decision to attack Iran.
A CNN poll suggests that 60% of Americans do not support the initial US-Israeli strikes on Iran on Saturday, while a Reuters/Ipsos poll indicates that only one in four Americans approves of the attack.
“I think that the polling is very good, but I don’t care about polling. I have to do the right thing. I have to do the right thing. This should have been done a long time ago,” Trump told the New York Post in an interview published on Monday.

Instead of celebrating the long overdue elimination of the sadistic Ayatollah Khamenei and liberation of the Iranian people, Times energy reporter Rebecca Elliott whipped out this overly pedantic headline March 1: “Oil Prices Jump After Iran Attack, Pointing to Economic Risks.”
This once again shows Israeli ingenuity and skill. Rather than targeting its enemies indiscriminately, as it is falsely accused of doing, it carries out extremely precise targeted operations. This was just a notification, but it went largely to people who support the Islamic regime, as they’re the ones who mostly use this prayer app. Most of the Iranian people have actually left Islam at this point. 47 years of Islamic rule have left them disgusted with Sharia.

From its headline, “Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Hard-Line Cleric Who Made Iran a Regional Power, Is Dead at 86,” to the almost lyrical depiction of his “avuncular and magnanimous aloofness,” the Times’ empathy for this brutal dictator was on full display.
Sounding more like a eulogy, the Times’ obituary read: “With his spectacles, Palestinian kaffiyeh, long robes and silver beard, Ayatollah Khamenei cast himself as a religious scholar as well as a writer and translator of works on Islam. He affected an avuncular and magnanimous aloofness, running the country from a perch above the jousting of daily politics.”

– Fifteen U.S. aircraft have left the Rota and Moron military bases in southern Spain since the U.S. and Israel launched weekend attacks on Iran, maps by flight tracking website FlightRadar24 showed on Monday.
Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said Spain would not allow its military bases, which are jointly operated by the U.S. and Spain but under Spanish sovereignty, to be used for attacks on Iran, which Spain has condemned.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defense first released a statement about the U.S. jet crashes that was posted by the X account of the Kuwait Army. The incident comes as U.S., Israeli, and Iranian military forces battle throughout the Middle East and Persian Gulf region. U.S. Central Command issued a press release about the incident on Monday morning.
“The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense stated that a number of American warplanes crashed this morning, confirming that their crews were all saved,” read the post.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran’s ex-president who said ‘Israel must be wiped off the map,’ killed in Israeli airstrikes
Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad — a polarizing hardliner who became the face of Tehran’s nuclear defiance and incendiary anti-Israel rhetoric — was reportedly killed in Israeli airstrikes during Saturday’s strikes inside Iran.
During a 2005 conference titled “A World Without Zionism,” he quoted Iran’s founding leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, who had referred to Israel as “the occupying regime of Jerusalem” and a “disgraceful cancerous growth” that “must be wiped off the map.
Furthermore, Ahmadinejad was reportedly directly involved in the taking of the American Embassy hostages in 1979.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck Hezbollah targets after the Iranian proxy terrorist group fired missiles at the northern Israeli city of Haifa. Hezbollah’s attack is a declaration of war after the IDF eliminated the Iranian dictator and its top paymaster, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in an airstrike.
“The IDF said it carried out targeted strikes early Monday against senior Hezbollah figures across Lebanon in response to rocket fire toward the Haifa area as the war with Iran intensified,” Israel’s Ynetnews reported.
