A Virginia mother was murdered at a local bus stop, allegedly by an illegal alien who’d been arrested dozens of times for violent offenses that included rape and assault.
Stephanie Minter, 41, was allegedly stabbed by suspect Abdul Jalloh, 32, last week on Richmond Highway in Fairfax County, according to the New York Post.
Local law enforcement said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A top Department of Homeland Security official vowed during a private call with election officials Wednesday that immigration officers will not be stationed at polling places in November amid Democratic warnings about interference in the midterms by the federal government.
Heather Honey, the department’s deputy assistant secretary for election integrity, dismissed as “disinformation” any fears that officers from Immigration Customs and Enforcement would be deployed to the polls as part of President Donald Trump’s ongoing mass deportation campaign.
“Any suggestion that ICE is going to be present at polling places is simply disinformation,” Honey said, according to four people on the call who were granted anonymity to discuss it. “There will be no ICE presence at polling locations.”
Former CNN anchor Don Lemon is among the defendants named in a civil lawsuit filed by a St. Paul church congregant over the disruption of a worship service on January 18, 2026, at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. The same incident has also resulted in federal criminal charges against Lemon and eight other individuals.
The protest occurred during a Sunday service at Cities Church, a Southern Baptist congregation. Demonstrators entered the sanctuary and began chanting slogans including “ICE out!” and “Justice for Renee Good,” a reference to a local anti-ICE agitator who was shot while attempting to run over a federal agent last month.

Mexico is awash in violence. And the country’s stringent gun control laws aren’t helping.
On Feb. 22, the Mexican military carried out an operation that killed Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, nicknamed “El Mencho,” the leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Mexican armed forces were reportedly trained by a small cadre of U.S. Navy SEALs who entered the country on a “training mission” approved by Mexico’s Senate.
CJNG responded to El Mencho’s death with wanton violence. The cartel murdered no fewer than 25 Mexican National Guard members and set up no fewer than 250 roadblocks. Schools were closed, and flights at airports were grounded. Dozens of buildings were burned. The savagery spanned multiple jurisdictions. By day’s end, at least 60 people had been slaughtered.
A day after the Mexican Army killed Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) leader Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera Cervantes in an operation in Jalisco, U.S. President Donald Trump called on Mexico to do even more to combat criminal organizations.

A special agent with the Department of Homeland Security revealed in court documents that leftists who disrupted services at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, made frightening comments to children in the congregation.

A Maryland resident has been arrested on attempted murder charges after he allegedly showed up at the home of a Trump cabinet official with a manifesto and intent to kill.
Colin Demarco, 26, was arrested by Arlington County Police on January 22 after he showed up at Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought’s Northern Virginia home. Vought was wearing a surgical mask and gloves at the time of his arrest, according to court documents.
According to court documents filed in Arlington County, Virginia, Demarco is accused of plotting to murder a victim identified only by the initials “R.V.” Sources familiar with the case confirmed to CBS News that “R.V.” refers to Russell Vought.
Late last week, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) once again did her part to pander to criminal illegal immigrants in the Empire State in an election year by proposing legislation that would effectively end any local government cooperation with ICE.

But all of the national media scrutiny has obsessed over Team Trump. They have rarely acted to “hold government accountable” when the governing comes from Democrats, Gov. Tim Walz or Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.
NPR was eagerly touting their new NPR/PBS Marist Poll to underline the effectiveness of their advocacy: 65 percent of Americans, up from 54 percent in June of 2025, think the actions of ICE have “gone too far” in enforcing immigration laws, and 62 percent of say the actions of ICE are making Americans “somewhat less safe, or much less safe.”
