The leftist media cabal constantly imagine themselves as the grand embodiment of Democracy and Freedom of Speech, even as they seek to put Republicans in jail and hope to censor them out of speaking on social media. They don’t live up to their First Amendment boasting.

For example, there’s CNN International host Christiane Amanpour, whose leftist ravings are also broadcast on PBS stations. On January 23, Amanpour led off her show with this attack on President Trump: “He says he’s bringing free speech back to America, but one year into Trump 2.0, few presidents have done as much to degrade civil liberties and muzzle the free press. Former Washington Post executive editor Marty Baron joins me to discuss how American journalism can survive.”

On Monday’s CNN This Morning, CNN Guest and WIRED contributor Garrett Graff praised Minnesota protestors for supposedly being non-violent and said viral videos only showed federal law enforcement being violent. In reality, many other videos have shown protesters being violent, including a riot outside a hotel where federal law enforcement was staying on Sunday night into Monday morning.

The segment was a part of CNN ‘Breaking News’ coverage pertaining to the shooting of Alex Pretti and the following unrest.

Host Audie Cornish introduced a clip of FBI Director Kash Patel that talked about the need to “quell these riots” amid a trend across the country of “protests turning into violent scenarios and people attacking law enforcement.”

Under Trump, the media elites treat the executive branch as an evil empire, but under Biden, journalists were so eager to help promote the Democrats that they sometimes offered their sources the ability to edit their articles to their liking.

Both Buttle and Khan attempted to take some of the media pressure off of the Biden administration by postponing publication of the interview until the political heat died down, even though they had been in communication with the EPA about the interview since at least December 2022.
