A new intelligence unit within the UK’s National Police Coordination Centre (NPoCC) will begin monitoring social media for early signs of anti-migrant unrest, as authorities respond to renewed demonstrations across parts of England. The move follows concerns of a repeat of last summer’s violent outbreaks that were triggered by misinformation and civil disorder, as reported by The Guardian.

The policing minister, Diana Johnson, informed Members of Parliament on Sunday that the Home Office is considering the formation of a dedicated “national internet intelligence investigations team.” This team will be embedded within the NPoCC and tasked with identifying potential threats by analysing online activity, helping local forces respond more quickly to emerging risks.

The Illinois Baptist State Association, or IBSA, is a community of nearly 1,000 Baptist churches, ministries, and missions, dedicated to advancing the Gospel across the Land of Lincoln.

Today, they face a heart-wrenching dilemma. Rooted in their belief that life is sacred from conception, IBSA has provided health insurance as an Illinois employer for its 20-plus employees and retirees for over a century—always excluding abortion coverage.

But Illinois’ 2019 Reproductive Health Act forces IBSA to choose between providing health insurance or funding abortion, directly violating its deeply held faith. (Keep reading to find out how we’re fighting back!)

The RHA mandates that all employer health insurance plans cover chemical and surgical abortions. And anytime they’ve sought an exemption, the reply has been “no.” This abortion coverage mandate has turned IBSA’s commitment to care for its employees into a moral crisis.

On August 16, 2025, Swalwell threatened that if Democrats regain control of the House in 2026, they will “unmask” ICE agents who wear masks to conceal their identities to protect them from from gangs and antifa-types.

I want this to be absolutely clear — these masked men — roaming around like bank robber bandits — will be unmasked in a Democratic majority. Literally and figuratively. There will be accountability for the terror they’ve brought to our communities.

It’s all coming out.

A federal judge denied the Trump administration’s request to unseal Jeffrey Epstein grand jury materials on Wednesday, calling it a “diversion.”

Judge Richard Berman, a Clinton appointee, noted the testimony “is merely a hearsay snippet of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged conduct” in his 14-page ruling.

“The Government is the logical party to make comprehensive disclosure to the public of the Epstein Files,” he wrote. “By comparison, the instant grand jury motion appears to be a ‘diversion’ from the breadth and scope of the Epstein files in the Government’s possession.”

Two federal judges previously rejected efforts to unseal transcripts in Epstein’s Florida case and Ghislaine Maxwell’s case. The Department of Justice (DOJ) petitioned to unseal the transcripts in July following a directive from President Donald Trump.

Tragically, Mamdani is gaining momentum: Ironically, it is being made possible, made to happen, but the very people who benefited the most from capitalism. You can make this stuff up,  Imagine, a billionaire funding a communist who says there shouldn’t be billionaires. Deadly stupidity.

Big Tech workers are top Mamdani campaign donors, far exceeding Andrew Cuomo

NY Post reports;

Big Tech workers, including from Google and Meta, were among the biggest group of donors to Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral campaign — creating a fresh headache for companies in the Big Apple that could feel the brunt of the self-proclaimed Democratic socialist’s policies, The Post has learned.

The 33-year-old upstart has spooked New York business and tech leaders — many of whom fear that his vow to raise taxes on the wealthy and past calls to defund the police will spark a mass exodus similar to what San Francisco experienced under progressive leaders in recent years.

However, their underlings have thrown their financial support behind the front-runner for City Hall.

Rank-and-file Google employees donated nearly $40,500 to Mamdani’s campaign through July 11 — more than any other company or institution, according to NYC campaign finance data reviewed by The Post.

Meta workers chipped in more than $10,500, ranking seventh on the list, followed by Amazon employees, who donated nearly $9,000.

A cherished French bakery in Jefferson County, Colorado, is facing potential closure because of the county’s harsh enforcement of exclusionary zoning regulations. This situation underscores how overly restrictive regulations create unnecessary hurdles that stifle entrepreneurship, especially when the local economy is struggling.

Lookout Mountain, Colorado, is celebrated for its breathtaking views, luxurious homes, and as the final resting place of Buffalo Bill. Just 12 miles from downtown Denver, it has become a must-visit destination for hikers, mountain bikers, and tourists from all over the globe.

This charming mountain community has long grappled with one significant drawback: the lack of a quality café. For many years, residents and visitors have had to travel to the nearby city of Golden for a decent cup of coffee or tasty pastries. So both locals and tourists were thrilled when a French bakery, Et Voilà!, opened less than half a mile from Buffalo Bill’s Museum and Grave.

Et Voilà! — meaning “Here you go” in French — is run by a passionate trio of French immigrants: husband-and-wife team Eric and Rachel Dufour, along with Rachel’s sister, Ruth. After leaving a successful career as an economist, Ruth pursued her passion for baking at renowned chef Olivier Bajard’s pastry school. The Dufours want to share their love for authentic French cuisine with the Lookout Mountain community, creating a welcoming space for locals and visitors. They also count on the bakery’s financial success to support their nonprofit, Serving Alongside Ministry (SAM), which provides counseling services for Christian organizations and leaders globally.

President Donald Trump’s plan to allow 600,000 Chinese student visas to be issued drew strong criticism from the right on Monday and Tuesday.

The proposal comes as the president is amid trade talks with China, and backers of the plan could be necessary to keep certain universities afloat, whereas others say it could hinder the opportunities of American students.

“I hear so many stories that we’re not going to allow their students,” Trump told reporters as trade talks with China are ongoing.

“We’re going to allow their students to come in. It’s very important, 600,000 students. It’s very important. But we’re going to get along with China,” he continued.

Trump expanded on his comments during a Cabinet meeting at the White House on Tuesday.

I think it’s very insulting to say students can’t come here because they’ll go out and start building schools and they’ll be able to survive it. But I like that their students come here. I like that other countries’ students come here. And you know what would happen if they didn’t? Our college system would go to hell very quickly. And it wouldn’t be the top colleges, so it’d be colleges that struggle on the bottom. And you take out 300,000 or 600,000 students out of the system,” Trump said.

I like having, and I told this to President Xi that we’re honored to have their students here. Now, with that, we check in with careful and we see who’s there,” he added.

Living things emit a ghostly glow that vanishes at death: Study – timesofindia.indiatimes.com

Ever wondered if life itself shines, even if just a little? A fascinating 2024 study published in The Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters by researchers at the University of Calgary and the National Research Council of Canada reveals that all living organisms emit an ultraweak light, scientifically called ultraweak photon emission (UPE), which mysteriously disappears the moment life ends. This glow is so faint that our eyes cannot see it, but advanced EMCCD cameras detect it clearly in mice, plants, and potentially other living beings. Unlike bioluminescence in fireflies or jellyfish, UPE is a natural byproduct of cellular processes such as oxidative metabolism and stress responses.Remarkably, injured plant leaves glow brighter, indicating that cellular stress amplifies this faint light. The discovery not only gives scientific evidence to ideas like “auras” but also opens possibilities for real-world applications in medicine, agriculture, and biological research. Life literally leaves a subtle light signature, and death quietly turns it off, shedding new light on the invisible glow that accompanies vitality.

All United Nations Security Council members, except the United States, on Wednesday said the famine in Gaza was a “manmade crisis” and warned that the use of starvation as a weapon of war is banned under international humanitarian law.

In a joint statement, the 14 council members called for an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire, the release of all hostages held by Hamas and other groups, a substantive surge of aid throughout Gaza, and for Israel to immediately and unconditionally lift all restrictions on aid delivery.

“Famine in Gaza must be stopped immediately,” they said.

“Time is of the essence. The humanitarian emergency must be addressed without delay and Israel must reverse course.”

Gaza City and surrounding areas are officially suffering from famine, and it will likely spread,

A research team at the Politecnico di Milano has developed an innovative single-atom catalyst capable of selectively adapting its chemical activity. This is a crucial step forward in sustainable chemistry and the design of more efficient and programmable industrial processes.

The study was published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society, one of the world’s most authoritative scientific journals in chemistry.

This achievement is a breakthrough in the field of single-atom catalysts. For the first time, scientists have demonstrated the possibility of designing a material that can selectively change its catalytic function depending on the chemical environment. It involves a sort of ‘molecular switch’ that allows complex reactions to be performed more cleanly and efficiently, using less energy than conventional processes.

A raging leftist was arrested Saturday in Washington, D.C. and charged with making a series of social media posts threatening to kill President Donald Trump, but the propaganda press has decided to downplay or ignore the threat.

Nathalie “Nath” Rose Jones, 50, of Lafayette, Indiana, threatened to kill, kidnap, or injure Trump in her posts, according to a statement from the Secret Service.

By Tuesday, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and The New York Times had either not reported the arrest, or hid it on their websites so well that a deep web search came up with nothing.

“I am willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea with Liz Cheney and all The Affirmation present,” Jones wrote in an August 6 Facebook post directed to the FBI.

Two of the three Virginia high school boys who objected to a gender-confused girl in their locker room have been suspended, in a school district with one of the most checkered pasts on the subject in America.

As previously covered by LifeSiteNews, in a video taken by a girl who identifies as a male at Loudoun County’s Stonebridge High School, three boys can be heard expressing to each other their discomfort with her presence. Loudoun County Public Schools [LCPS] subsequently launched a Title IX investigation against the boys, based on the video.

The father of one of the boys told local media that his son and the others were “questioning why there was a female in the males’ locker room … There were other boys asking the same question. They [LCPS] created a very uncomfortable situation. They’re young, they’re 15 years old. They’re expressing their opinions, and now they’re being targeted for expressing those opinions.”
