The judge said she read the book “The Right to Protest: an Uneasy Balance” in reaching her verdict, and asked when does the right to protest “protect those from criminal liability” or or allow the them to infringe on “the right of other citizens to enjoy their property? Charter rights are not absolute.” She recessed the court before finishing the rest of her verdict on the remaining charges.

Elon Musk and the DOGE team have cut another 109 useless, wasteful contracts, saving the nation $420 million.

Per Breitbart News:

“Wasteful” projects across several agencies were slashed, including a $3.1 million Department of Energy (DOE) contract for “website development services,” and a $2.7 million Department of Commerce (DOC) contract for “marketing consulting services outreach and engagement support services,” DOGE said in a Monday night post:

At a town hall question and answer with Elon Musk in Green Bay, Wis. on March 30 on behalf of Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel, the White House Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) revealed that since 2021, 5.5 million non-citizens have been given Social Security numbers.

Of those, DOGE has already identified 1.3 million who are collecting Medicaid, a $567 billion a year program to about 79.3 million people at about $7,100 per person collecting, an apparent waste of about $8 billion a year.

According to DOGE’s Antonio Gracias, “We’ve gone through on every benefit program… We found groups from this particular group of people, this 5.5 million people, in those benefit programs.”

O’Keefe Media Group caught a National Institutes of Health (NIH) official coaching researchers how to evade DOGE and secure funding.

James Welch, a National Institutes of Health genetic counselor told an undercover OMG journalist how helps principal investigators at the NIH change “race” to “ancestry” in clinical trials to evade DOGE and secure funding.

“I had to go look at, like, what was leaked as far as the banned words, that DOGE is just like, control F searching for so I was trying to help [NIH investigator] suggest wording. I had suggested, like, ‘a history of ancestry’ instead of ‘race,’ James Welch told the OMG undercover reporter.

Welch also admitted to wanting to shoot people at the NIH.

The U.S. government has banned American government officials in China from any romantic or sexual relationships with Chinese citizens.

The new policy was implemented by departing U.S. Ambassador Nicholas Burns in January.

The policy is the first “non-fraternization” policy issued by a U.S. agency since the Cold War.

On March 4, in response to President Donald J. Trump’s strategy of using tariffs to bring manufacturing back America and restore fair trade, the Chinese embassy ominously warned that China was ready for any “type of war” with the U.S.

Should war with China extend beyond tariffs, Taiwan is a likely battleground.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) wants to take Taiwan. Seizing Taiwan is integral to CCP’s objective of dominating the world.

Taiwan isn’t just an island — it’s a geopolitical tripwire, a small, highly-prized self-ruled island of 23 million with a prominent stone spine. Strategically, it anchors the First Island Chain, a natural barricade from Japan to the Philippines that keeps China’s Pacific dreams in a bottle. For Beijing, cracking Taiwan open means breaking free into blue water and dominating Asia’s rim.

For the U.S., letting it slip is a gut punch. China’s reach would stretch to Guam, and America’s Pacific shield would splinter. Further, its semiconductor plants, led by TSMC, pump out 90 percent of the world’s advanced chips, powering everything from smartphones to stealth fighters. Lose that, and the global economy chokes.

Polish presidential candidate Slawomir Mentzen has been targeted for his pro-life comments defending unborn babies conceived in rape.

During a March 26 interview with journalist Krzysztof Stanowski, conservative political party New Hope leader Slawomir Mentzen declared that he is pro-life, regardless of whether the baby is conceived in rape, prompting backlash from abortion activists and pro-abortion candidates.

“We have no right to kill another person just because they upset us, are unpleasant to us, or could seriously harm our lives. We do not kill innocent people – I believe this is very important,” he said.

The US Supreme Court on Wednesday heard oral arguments in a case that could decide whether states may stop funding Planned Parenthood through the federal Medicaid program.

In Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, the state of South Carolina is defending its right to exclude abortion vendors from receiving Medicaid taxpayer dollars.

The Colorado state legislature is currently considering legislation that would require the state Medicaid program to cover elective abortions. This would make Colorado the 20th state whose Medicaid program covers elective abortion.

In other states, supporters of publicly funded abortions typically argue that it is a necessary step to ensure that low-income women have access to abortion. However, Colorado Democrats have trotted out a new, more perverse argument. They claim that publicly funded abortions would save state taxpayers money.

Indeed, last week Colorado’s Legislative Council Staff released a fiscal note analyzing SB 25-183, the bill requiring that Colorado’s Medicaid program and Child Health Plan Plus program to cover elective abortions. The analysis found that this would increase the number of taxpayer-funded abortions.

However, since the state Medicaid program would be paying for fewer births, there would be an overall cost savings. Democratic state legislators have eagerly cited this analysis.

A female fencer is being penalized by USA Fencing for refusing to compete against a biological male opponent, saying that her stand will “at least for a moment, destroy my life” but needed to be taken.

Fox News reports that 31-year-old Stephanie Turner, who previously made a point of trying to evade tournaments in which she would have to face “transgender” fencers, found herself up against gender-confused male Redmond Sullivan at the Cherry Blossom Open in Maryland. She learned about the matchup the night before and made her decision how to handle it then.

Democrats in Georgia have staged a walk-out in support of giving taxpayer-funded transgender surgery to male prison inmates who claim to be female.

Democrats staged a protest at the Georgia State Capitol on Wednesday.

They left the chamber in protest as lawmakers debated a bill that would end taxpayer-funded “sex change” surgeries for state prison inmates.

The walkout occurred amid a heated debate over Senate Bill (SB) 185.

The legislation subsequently passed the House by a 100-2 vote.

All Democrats opted out of the vote through their departure, according to Fox Atlanta.

On Tuesday, Democrats on the Assembly Arts, Entertainment, Sports, and Tourism Committee voted down Assembly Bill 89, which would have prohibited male students from competing in girls’ sports, and Assembly Bill 844, which would have required educational institutions to require students to use the bathroom or locker room according to their biological sex.

In a 7-2 vote, all Democrats on the committee voted against AB 89. Though many people traveled to testify about the harms they had suffered under California’s current athletic policies, Democrats claimed that there were only a handful of transgender students competing in girls’ sports. They instead turned the focus on President Donald Trump’s administration.

“There is no epidemic of transgender kids playing basketball, soccer, or any other sport, for that matter,” Speaker Robert Rivas claimed. “The real threat is the Trump administration taking away abortion access and dismantling programs that help women. And finally, I can’t emphasize this point enough — I’m not going to support a bill that takes rights away from a protected class of people,”

The Florida Senate passed a bill prohibiting geoengineering and weather modification by a vote of 28-9, Thursday. SB-56, dubbed the “chemtrails bill” by the media, prohibits “the injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, weather, climate, or intensity of sunlight.”

The bill also requires the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to set up a system where residents can report “suspected geoengineering activities” and directs the FDEP to investigate those claims, WFLA reported.

Geoengineering, or climate engineering is defined as “the intentional large-scale alteration of the planetary environment to counteract [alleged] anthropogenic climate change.”

A 17-year-old Texas high school student was murdered at a regional track meet on Wednesday.

Austin Metcalf of Memorial High School in Frisco, Texas, was stabbed during the meet, with his twin brother, Hunter Metcalf, holding him after the attack, according to WFAA.

Karmelo Anthony, 17, of Frisco’s Centennial High School, has been charged with murder.

Meghan Metcalf, Austin’s mother, went to the hospital where her son was taken after the incident.

“My son is not here anymore, and I don’t understand it,” she grieved. “He was the most amazing kid. So smart. He had college football guys looking at him to play in college. His goal was to play in college.”

Police responded to a 10 a.m. incident. Hunter Metcalf said he saw his brother being stabbed and tried to stop the blood.

“I tried to whip around as fast as I could,” Hunter Metcalf said. “I looked at my brother, and I’m not going to talk about the rest. I tried to help him.”

Myanmar’s military on Wednesday declared a 21-day cease-fire to support relief and reconstruction efforts in the wake of a devastating earthquake in the country, a day after it fired on a Chinese Red Cross convoy trying to deliver food and medicine to desperate survivors.

The attack on the Chinese convoy, which was widely condemned by rights activists, highlighted the dangers aid groups face from the country’s ongoing civil war.

It remains unclear whether the cease-fire would be honored — armed rebel groups said the military had launched scores of airstrikes since Friday’s 7.7-magnitude temblor, which killed at least 2,700.

In the wake of the earthquake, the shadow government in exile, known as the National Unity Government, and an alliance of three rebel groups announced cease-fires. But the military, which seized power in a coup four years ago, had indicated that it would not stop hostilities. The fierce civil war had already caused widespread suffering before the earthquake, which left millions of people with little food and water.

On March 25, 2025, Colorado House Speaker Julie McCluskie, D, sat before a legislative committee to discuss Senate Bill 25-183, a measure designed to force the state’s Medicaid program to cover abortion services.

The hearing was one of those moments where the mask drops, and the cold, deathly, skeletal face of progressive policy ambitions looked America right in the eyes.

McCluskie didn’t even really try to hide her position. She just brazenly leaned into a fiscal argument that’s as chilling as it is revealing: “A birth is more expensive than an abortion,” she said, citing a fiscal note projecting that Colorado could save over $550,000 annually by funding abortions rather than births. She euphemistically called them “averted births.” Averted births?! Ma’am, the word you’re looking for is “murdered children.”

The bill’s “numbers” (apparently) back her up — $5.9 million to pay for abortions in the first full year, offset by $6.4 million in “savings” from these “averted births.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said Wednesday that Democrats are “very likely” to sue Republican Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas, accusing him of deliberately delaying a special election to fill a House seat that’s been vacant for nearly a month.

Democratic Rep. Sylvester Turner of Texas died on March 5, at age 70, just two months into his term. But Abbott has yet to announce a special election date and has missed the deadline for the race to be held on May 3, Texas’ next available election date. That means the seat for Texas’ 18th Congressional District might not be filled until November.

In an interview with NBC News, Jeffries didn’t mince words, flat-out accusing Abbott of dragging his feet to help Republicans cling to their razor-thin House majority—especially as more members grow frustrated with House Speaker Mike Johnson’s leadership.

When asked directly if he believed Abbott was intentionally stalling, Jeffries simply said, “Yes.”

More than 40 left-wing organizations (and/or some of their affiliates) opposing Republican efforts to prevent noncitizen voting in U.S. elections have collectively received more than $150 million from groups funded by leftist billionaire George Soros, a new analysis reveals.

On March 28, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights (LCCHR) released a letter directed at members of Congress, asking them to oppose the GOP-sponsored SAVE Act, which aims to close existing loopholes in federal law that foreign nationals could exploit to register and cast ballots in U.S. elections. As described by InfluenceWatch, LCCHR “serves as an umbrella organization for over 200 mostly left-wing organizations which lobby and advocate before Congress and other federal agencies on legislation and Presidential appointments to the executive departments and judiciary.”

The 112 left-wing organizations that signed onto the aforementioned letter “strongly” urged congressional representatives to “oppose” the SAVE Act, which they falsely claimed, “represents a shameful, divisive attempt to prevent millions of eligible U.S. citizens — disproportionately Latinos, Asian Americans, Native Americans, and other voters of color — from registering to vote.” The groups specifically parroted faux Democrat talking points that basic voting safeguards such as documentary proof of citizenship requirements are “onerous,” “harmful,” and “designed to restrict participation by lawfully registered voters.”

‘I have been this racehorse that has been held back,’ says NYC mayor

Eric Adams (cropped, Mike Coppola/Getty Images)

New York City mayor Eric Adams will leave the Democratic primary and run for reelection as an independent, as internal tensions and a broader identity crisis roil the Democratic Party.

“Though I am still a Democrat, I am announcing that I will forgo the Democratic primary for mayor and appeal directly to all New Yorkers as an independent candidate in the general election,” Adams announced in a video Thursday morning. He argued that New York City needs “truly independent leadership, not leaders pulled at by the extremists on the far-left or the far-right.”

Adams had been weighing an independent bid for weeks, as his high-profile corruption case dragged on in court, sources close to him told the New York Post. A federal judge on Wednesday permanently dismissed Adams’s criminal case.

The mayor, who faced charges of bribery, wire fraud, and soliciting illegal campaign contributions, has repeatedly accused the Biden administration of bringing the charges against him in retaliation for his criticism of former president Joe Biden’s handling of the migrant crisis, according to the New York Times.

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has announced that he’s endorsing Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) for Florida governor.

In a statement first reported by Politico Playbook, Johnson said:

“Byron Donalds is a principled conservative leader who Floridians can trust as their next Governor.

“In Congress, Byron has been tenacious in standing up for Florida and President Trump’s America First agenda.

“I have no doubt he will bring that same fighting spirit with him as Governor, working every day to improve the lives of Florida families.

“My good friend Byron Donalds has my full support,” Johnson added.

The Sunshine State Republican thanked Johnson for his support.

In a post on X, Donalds called Johnson a “good friend.”

“From local Tea Party Activism to the State House & the halls of Congress to my candidacy for Governor of Florida, my fight for the Sunshine State has been unwavering,” Donalds added.

“Together, we are Making America Great Again.”
