‘Moderate’ Dem Who Bested DSA’s Rabid Francesca Hong in WI Gov.’s Race Isn’t So Reasonable After All – RedState redstate.com

EXCERPT:

Be careful what you wish for.

In California, we know the saying all too well. “Get rid of Gavin Newsom!”

Thanks to term limits, we finally will be rid of the elaborately coiffed governor — but his replacement might be even worse, if Democrat machine candidate Xavier Becerra bests his GOP opponent Steve Hilton in November.

“Toss Bass back in the water!”

Sounds good, but if the appropriately named Karen loses her LA mayoral race, we’ll get Democrat socialist City Councilwoman Nithya Raman, who would much rather cater to the homeless and let her district turn into part of the third or fourth world than she would to lift a finger to clean it up.

Wisconsin is now finding out that when you’re dealing with modern Democrats, oftentimes there simply are no sane candidates.

Rep. Francesca Hong (WI-76), the “old white people” hating socialist, was widely expected to win the Badger State Democratic gubernatorial primary, but in a neck-and-neck finish earlier this August, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley pulled out the win.

Good news, right? Sanity prevailed, and the more “moderate” candidate was chosen. Except, not so much. Turns out Crowley is a far-left extremist too, just maybe slightly less so than Hong.

NEW from @foxnews: @DavidCCrowley went all-in on DEI and the Green New Deal agenda in Milwaukee County.

He “embraced racial-equity budgeting,” expanded the county’s equity bureaucracy, and adopted climate plans that threaten even higher costs on Wisconsinites.

All while raising taxes on working families.

He calls himself a moderate, but Crowley is just another radical Democrat.

Shock: Dem Establishment’s Crowley Defeats DSA-Backed Hong in Photo Finish Wisconsin Gov Primary

For a moment it may have seemed like sanity won out, but that’s getting to be an increasingly impossible prospect when dealing with 2026 Democrats, who have all but started to put pictures of Karl Marx on their campaign signs. Although the Dem establishment backed Crowley over the Fidel Castro wannabe Hong, he’s not actually all that much better:

David Crowley, the Milwaukee County executive who defeated Hong after being cast as the more moderate choice, has overseen racial-equity budgeting, expanded the county’s equity bureaucracy and urged the Wisconsin attorney general to sue fossil fuel companies for environmental-related damages. Meanwhile, Crowley has also shared ground with Hong on taxing millionaires and ambitious carbon-neutrality goals.

“Milwaukee County is known for its beer and brats, but unfortunately it’s also the epicenter of David Crowley’s budgetary boondoggles. Under Crowley’s failed leadership, residents received their largest property tax hike in 15 years, paid higher sales taxes for everyday purchases, and saw millions of their hard-earned tax dollars set up to finance Crowley’s Green New Deal ‘Net Zero’ scam for the county,” Wisconsin native and Republican consultant Mark Bednar told Fox News Digital.

Crowley’s Trump-backed GOP opponent, Rep. Tom Tiffany (WI-7), would like a word:

Wisconsin voters have a decision to make in November: do they want to become the next California? They averted the prospect of the Thanksgiving-hating Francesca Hong, but is David Crowley a step up? Survey says: nope.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.

Democrats won’t fix New Jersey’s voter fraud www.washingtonexaminer.com

EXCERPT:

For years, the liberal establishment told America that noncitizens don’t vote in elections.

About 6,600 people on the voter rolls had told the state before they were registered that they weren’t U.S. citizens, according to reports from multiple media outlets.

Yet New Jersey registered them to vote anyway.

Now the state claims it was just a software glitch.

But my experience as an elected official tells me that if there is a glitch anywhere, it’s in the law under which they were registered.

It’s clear that we have to reform our voter registration laws to restore confidence.

Gottheimer: El-Sayed Won’t Condemn Piker Even as He Uses ‘Nazi-Like Formula’ www.breitbart.com

EXCERPT:

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Inside Politics,” Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) said that Hasan Piker is “calling for violence against Jews, American Jews who support the U.S.-Israeli relationship, literally calling for them to be attacked, which is a Nazi-like formula” and Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed isn’t clearly denouncing Piker and is leaving the door open to continuing to campaign with him.

Gottheimer said, “El-Sayed’s statement totally fell short. You’re talking about a guy, Hasan Piker, who’s a — as you pointed out, he posts on Twitch and streams on Twitch, millions of followers. He is nothing more than a grifter and a hater. Although, unfortunately, many of my colleagues have decided to campaign with him. Many of — many Democratic candidates have campaigned with him, including El-Sayed, who in his — the last night before his primary had Hasan Piker front and center with him. And his statement yesterday, instead of coming out and condemning Piker, condemning his statement, saying he refuses to ever campaign with him again, he did nothing of the sort. And, to me, the fact that he leaves the window open to do more with Hasan Piker, it’s totally unacceptable. You saw, of course, Leader Hakeem Jeffries coming out strongly against Hasan Piker. I think all of my colleagues should.”

With Crucial Win at the Supreme Court, Trump Administration Has Path to Security, Transparency Rules in Mail Balloting www.dailysignal.com

EXCERPT:

The Supreme Court delivered a big win to the Trump administration this week that could clear the way for better election integrity across the U.S.

Trump v. California, decided on Monday, cleared a major hurdle in the ongoing legal fight over President Donald Trump’s executive order “Ensuring Citizenship Verification and Integrity in Federal Elections” issued in March.

The primary directives concerned the fight to ensure that only citizens vote in federal elections and to increase the security, integrity, and transparency of mail balloting across the nation.

The fight over the details is sure to continue in the days and weeks ahead, but the Trump administration now has a path to increase the integrity of mail voting prior to the 2026 midterm elections.

The Supreme Court halted a Massachusetts District Court’s ruling to sideline the Trump executive order on two major grounds. The 23 left-leaning states that had sued the federal government over the potential rules lacked legal standing to interfere with the executive branch development of rules and that the ripeness of the case was premature, thus too early to intervene with ongoing implementation or decide the constitutional merits of the case.

A Disturbing New Poll — and Dennis Prager’s Warning for America – PJ Media pjmedia.com

EXCERPT:

“Frightening” is perhaps a word used too often by people on both sides of the political aisle when reacting to polls that seem to capture a momentous societal change. But when Dennis Prager is the one giving the warning, I listen carefully.

In a discussion with PragerU Executive Director Allen Estrin, Prager broke down a new CBS News/YouGov poll showing that 58% of Democrats view socialism favorably, while only 32% favor capitalism. This is a subject about which Prager, whose field of study in graduate school was communism, is qualified to speak. But who cares about that credential when “socialism, much less democratic socialism, is not communism,” as CNN Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins has said, right?

Prager wasted little time dispelling that argument with a brief history lesson:

The record of socialism in terms of human suffering, human death, human enslavement is the worst record in recorded history. In one—I won’t even say a century—inside of about 50 years, 100 million, 100 million people were murdered by socialists, by socialist/communist regimes. China, USSR, Cambodia, Vietnam—basically everywhere that socialists took over. Remember, the name of the Soviet Union was the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. That’s very important.

Trump-Backed Darline Graham Wins South Carolina GOP Senate Nomination › American Greatness amgreatness.com

EXCERPT:

Sen. Darline Graham won South Carolina’s Republican Senate runoff Tuesday, defeating Rep. Ralph Norman and handing President Donald Trump another victory for his endorsed candidate.

The Associated Press called the race for Graham, who is seeking a full term in the seat previously held by her late brother, longtime Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham.

Graham, 62, will face Democrat Annie Andrews in November and enters the general election as the favorite in heavily Republican South Carolina. Democrats have not won a U.S. Senate race in the state since 1998.

The victory also demonstrates Trump’s continued influence among Republican primary voters. He endorsed Graham and traveled to South Carolina on Friday to campaign alongside her.

Crowley Stuns In WI, Beating Socialist In Dem Governor Primary thefederalist.com

EXCERPT:

Wisconsin Democrats on Tuesday disregarded the polls and narrowly rejected an avowed socialist as their nominee for governor in the Badger State’s nationally-watched primary election.

Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, who dropped out of the race late only to be coaxed back in by the so-called Democratic Party “establishment,” defeated democratic socialist Francesca Hong by razor thin margins.

Per usual, Crowley’s Milwaukee County faced a ballot count delay, a stoppage that dragged out the tally for hours and was once again blamed on “human error.” It’s another in a string of election night messes for Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s most-populated — and election integrity challenged city.

With 98.4 percent of the vote in just before 2 a.m., Crowley led by just four-tenths of a percentage point, or just over 3,000 votes. The New York Times finally called the race for Crowley just before 3 a.m. local time.

A clean-energy super PAC funded almost entirely by a major Democrat donor is pouring millions of dollars into Tennessee’s Republican primary in an effort to defeat Trump-backed Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN).

The Invest in Tomorrow Coalition has spent roughly $1 million opposing Ogles and supporting his challenger, former Tennessee Agriculture Commissioner Charlie Hatcher, before purchasing another $700,000 in advertising ahead of Thursday’s primary.

Federal Election Commission records show the group is bankrolled by Chris Larsen, the liberal California billionaire and chairman of cryptocurrency company Ripple.

Politico Finally Admits Voter Registration Runs On Honor System thefederalist.com
News Source
EXCERPT:

Politico has spent months telling Americans that Republican concerns about noncitizens in our elections were exaggerated. Yet now that New Jersey admitted more than 6,000 noncitizens ended up on its voter rolls (about 400 of whom voted) — Politico has discovered the problem was apparently an “open secret” all along.

New Jersey Democrat Gov. Mikie Sherrill recently announced that a “software error” in the state’s motor vehicle system “led to the registration of roughly 6,600 people who indicated they were not U.S. citizens between June 2023 and June 2024.” The noncitizens allegedly answered “no” when asked whether they were citizens, but the system registered them anyway. Of those registered, nearly 400 illegally cast a ballot, the governor’s office said.

Now that the reality of noncitizens both registering to vote and voting is too difficult for the corporate media to ignore, they have to cover it. Politico’s Matt Friedman reports that the announcement “exposed an open secret about New Jersey’s so-called motor voter law that officials and political operatives have known for years: There’s little to stop noncitizens from registering to vote if they want to, or even by mistake.”
