President Donald Trump called for House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) to be charged for the attempt against his life at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner last month.

“This lunatic, Hakeem ‘Low IQ’ Jeffries, should be charged with INCITING VIOLENCE! The Radical Left Democrats actually want to Destroy our Country,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

He attached a photo of Jeffries calling for “Maximum warfare” three days before the shooting, emblazoning the phrase over a picture of Trump.

The Biden administration’s Department of Justice and FBI were aware that the Southern Poverty Law Center was paying “informants” in the KKK — and according to former Obama official Norm Eisen, that apparently means donors have nothing to be upset about.

The SPLC (which has spent years demonizing conservatives, including The Federalist) was indicted by a federal grand jury last month for wire fraud and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering. The SPLC allegedly funneled millions of dollars it received via donations to pay “a covert network of informants” who were part of “violent extremist groups” such as groups like the KKK. The press release for the indictment alleges that SPLC did not disclose to its donors that “some of their donated money was being used to fund the leaders and organizers of racist groups at the same time that the SPLC was denouncing the same groups on its website.” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement that SPLC was “manufacturing racism to justify its existence.”

But during a virtual press conference Wednesday held by Democracy Defenders Fund, Eisen suggested the SPLC defrauding donors by funding the KKK could not have been wrong because Biden’s justice agencies were aware of it.

The ruling by U.S. District Judge Alan D. Albright demands documents on donors giving $5,000 or more over the past decade, including foreign sources, plus recipients of CAIR’s larger donations and itineraries for Executive Director Nihad Awad’s trips to nine Middle Eastern countries from 2019 to 2023. The order stems from CAIR’s lawsuit challenging Abbott’s November 2025 proclamation labeling CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist organizations under Texas law, which bars them from buying land in the state. Abbott called the decision progress in his legal fight, while the case highlights debates over transparency, terror allegations, and civil rights protections, with discovery still ongoing.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott made enormous strides in his legal fight against CAIR. Abbott declared CAIR a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

The terror group sued to block it. So he demanded CAIR give turn over its donor list and details for Nihad Awad’s travel to nine countries hosting Islamic terror.

A federal court granted his request.

For those of working to expose this terror tied group for decades, this is a major victory.

Ryan Bruce Gaither Jr., 37, of Eugene, has been charged with assault on a federal employee involving physical contact and aggravated assault on a federal employee causing bodily injury.

An Oregon man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for an alleged physical attack against federal officers during an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) demonstration in January. The incident occurred outside the Eugene federal building.

Ryan Bruce Gaither Jr., 37, of Eugene, has been charged with assault on a federal employee involving physical contact and aggravated assault on a federal employee causing bodily injury. The defendant was arraigned in federal court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty, the Oregon US Attorney’s Office said in a press release.

On January 27, 2026, Gaither allegedly spat on a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer on the Special Response Team (SRT) and bit a second officer, according to court documents.

Video footage of his arrest shows Gaither struggling with two CBP SRT officers while he lies on the ground, handcuffs tied behind his back. He can be observed shouting with an angry facial expression before being taken into custody. As he gets whisked away, an aggressive mob of protesters surrounds federal officers, screaming and hurling projectiles, video shows. A sign stating “ICE kills” was seen being waved in the air.

You knew this was going to happen, despite evidence that contradicts the story about the FBI raid being politically motivated: federal agents searched the home of Louise Lucas, President pro tempore of the Virginia Senate, who was strongly supporting the gerrymandering effort that gave her party a 10-1 advantage in congressional apportionment.

So, you can see where the idiots would go with this, even though The New York Times reported that the investigation into Lucas started under the Biden administration. It is related to her involvement with a cannabis business. It’s a corruption probe. Yet, when you invite disgraced former FBI official Andrew McCabe and Adam Kinzinger to weigh in, you know a mountain of BS is coming. Curtis Houck of Newsbusters clipped this exchange:

Tapper: “The FBI will not say on the record why they executed the search warrant at the offices and businesses of the Virginia state Senator, Louise Lucas. What was your reaction to the news?

McCabe: “You know, it’s shocking, Jake. And it — it raises a couple of really interesting points. First, of course, this is a search warrant. It’s not an indictment. She hasn’t been charged with anything. She certainly hasn’t been convicted of any wrongdoing. Every search warrant is accompanied by an affidavit. That’s the facts that are presented to the judge, upon which the judge determines that there’s probable cause to believe there’s evidence of a crime inside that location. We don’t see those facts. We don’t typically see those affidavits. They are sealed until that person is — is charged and brought to court.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was not pleased with the Louisiana v. Callais decision. She filed a dissenting judgment, which enforced the ruling with immediate effect because it relates to the upcoming elections. Ms. Jackson’s dissent was ripped apart by Justice Samuel Alito, who academically called her a moron—this is becoming a common occurrence. Even liberal justices have sought to steer clear of attaching their names to her opinions.

Alito called her dissent on the judgment utterly irresponsible. And now, after all that bellyaching from Ms. Jackson, she denied a motion to recall the Callais judgment. No justices dissented.

This case is settled. It involved Louisiana creating a majority-black congressional district after the initial map was invalidated under VRA. Now, this map was struck down as unconstitutional, with the court limiting its interpretation of Section II of the Voting Rights Act, which allows congressional apportionment based on racial quotas.

The redistricting war for the 2026 midterms is on – and it may be the most aggressive mid-decade, multi-state map fight of the modern era.In the weeks following the Supreme Court’s April 29 decision in Louisiana v. Callais, the redistricting fight accelerated across the country. GOP-led states such as Florida, Louisiana, and Tennessee began moving or preparing to move on new congressional maps, while Virginia Democrats pushed a mid-decade redraw of their own.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a sweeping new congressional map into law on May 4 that could increase Republicans’ advantage in Florida’s House delegation from 20-8 to 24-4.

Louisiana delayed its congressional primaries while lawmakers begin work on a new map. Tennessee Republicans have released a proposal that could eliminate the state’s only Democratic-held congressional district, while Alabama and other Southern states are weighing how far the Callais ruling allows them to go. But this is by no means just a red-state story.

Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) have worked very hard to claim they don’t give taxpayer-funded healthcare to illegal immigrants. Or, any taxpayer-funded benefits, really. They do a lot of arguing semantics and nitpicking over rhetoric, and doing both in bad faith. AKA “independent” “fact” checking. Well, California gubernatorial candidate Katie Porter just treated the op as if it were her ex-husband and she was holding a pot of mashed potatoes.

There was a debate this week with Porter and the other candidates running for California governor. The question of giving free healthcare (aka, paid for by taxpayers) to illegal immigrants came up. Porter, like the other Democrats on stage, was all about it.

Yes. And that’s what I think Californians deserve as answers to these questions.

She has a point. If I were a Californian, I would want to know a clear “yes” so I knew not to vote for that person.

Five of the seven republican Indiana state senators that voted against the redistricting measure that would eliminate Democrat seats in the U.S. House lost decisively to Trump-endorsed candidates in the GOP Primary. Four other Trump-endorsed candidates won their primaries decisively as well.

California has finally won its drawn-out battle against fossil fuels.

Gov. Gavin Newsom, Democrat politicians, eco-activists, and the elite media have long made the oil firms the enemy and made them a target of regulatory attack. A few examples:

Well, the state may have won the war…as the last California-bound oil tanker to pass through the Strait of Hormuz since war erupted is now offloading its shipment at the Port of Long Beach.

The New Corolla loaded up in Iraq on Feb. 24 — just days before U.S. and Israeli forces launched attacks on Iran, plunging the region into turmoil and sparking a double blockade of commercial shipping.

In two weeks, the Hong Kong-flagged tanker will have fully unloaded at the Marathon Petroleum terminal and departed again for distant waters. After that, California must figure out how to replace some 200,000 barrels of oil a day that will no longer be arriving from the Persian Gulf.

California’s own supply of crude oil has been declining since the 1980s, due to aging fields and a geology that makes drilling particularly costly. The state’s gasoline refining capacity is also falling off, increasing reliance on imports and highlighting California’s status as an isolated energy island without gas pipelines to bring in supply from other states.

Indiana’s May 5 primary election tested President Donald Trump’s influence after he endorsed several state Senate candidates seeking to unseat Republican incumbents who had previously broken ranks with him by opposing a redistricting map.

At least six out of the eight Indiana Senate challengers endorsed by Trump won their respective primary elections on Tuesday, most with significant leads.

A ‘big night for MAGA in Indiana.’

Twenty-one GOP state senators voted with their Democrat colleagues in December to block a new congressional map that would have created two more Republican-leaning districts and potentially strengthened the GOP’s control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The effort failed in a 31-19 vote, despite Trump’s warnings that he would target Republicans in the upcoming primary election who voted against it.

Republicans who voted against the redistricting effort and who were seeking re-election in the May primary included:

  • James Buck (District 21)
  • Spencer Deery (District 23)
  • Dan Dernulc (District 1)
  • Greg Goode (District 38)
  • Travis Holdman (District 19)

Pro-life advocates have long warned about Planned Parenthood’s role in ending innocent lives through abortion, but now the threat has expanded. The abortion giant is not only ending lives in the present but it is advancing practices that may prevent future generations of children from ever being conceived.

How? By targeting minors with medical interventions that can lead to permanent sterility.

This is not speculation. It can be clearly seen in Planned Parenthood’s expanding involvement in providing so-called gender-transition services.

A review by Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee found that 14 Planned Parenthood regional reports – the regions that consistently publish comparable data – recorded a more than 40 percent increase in reported ‘gender-affirming care,’ visits, or services from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025. Because Planned Parenthood’s national 2024-2025 annual report does not provide a national total for ‘gender-affirming care,’ CWALAC aggregated figures from regional reports that publish comparable data. Planned Parenthood’s national gender-care page lists estrogen and anti-androgen therapy, testosterone therapy, puberty blockers, surgery referrals, and transition support, while noting that not every health center offers every service.

“This is several years in a row now that this number has increased despite society for the most part turning its back and reversing course on a lot of this,” Macy Petty, a legislative strategist for CCA, told the Daily Wire. “Planned Parenthood has found a way to continue this harmful and destructive business.”

Virginia Democrats are clearly panicking. Rachael Bade, co-host of The Huddle, elaborated on what former Democratic Party operative and fellow co-host Dan Turrentine mentioned this week about the fate of the Old Dominion’s new congressional map. It grants Democrats a 10-1 advantage, but the state Supreme Court refused to dismiss the challenge to the map, setting the stage for serious intra-party battles.

The legal warnings were reportedly repeated endlessly, but to no effect. Now, Democratic leaders at both the Virginia and national levels could face a heavy setback if the maps are invalidated. Bade outlined the criteria the court could use to strike down the maps. Sure, the map might get approved, but if the Virginia Supreme Court sides with just one of these points, the map is cooked:

AND THE KNIVES ARE OUT FOR SOME BIG NAMES. Per Dan’s reporting, Governor ABIGAIL SPANBERGER’s staff is quietly sniping at state Senate majority leader SCOTT SUROVELL and state Senate kingmaker LOUISE LUCAS — two lawmakers who pushed back hardest on the legal warnings last fall.

[…]

If this effort goes down, those quotes won’t age well. “People are lining up behind the scenes to go public, I think, very quickly if this does not go through,” Dan foreshadowed.

BUT HERE’S THE THING — Pointing fingers won’t let Spanberger off the hook, which we discussed at length on the show. Yes, she may have privately raised concerns about the effort early on. But she’s the one in the ads. She’s the face of this thing. As our other co-host SEAN SPICER put it bluntly: “She ate the political cookie on this one.”

The other name in the crosshairs if this goes down? House Minority Leader HAKEEM JEFFRIES. Dan is already hearing from some Virginia Dems who say the Democratic leader pushed too hard despite legal concerns. (Though, let’s be fair to Jeffries — he would have been slammed by the party if he hadn’t leaned in, and his team would likely wear such criticism as a badge of honor.)

A coalition of civil rights groups has filed suit to stop a new law allowing Texas law enforcement to return illegal aliens to a port of entry and arrest them for unlawful entry.

According to Just the News, the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU of Texas, and the Texas Civil Rights Project filed a class-action lawsuit on Monday seeking a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to block the law.

Senate Bill 4, which makes illegal entry into Texas a state crime, is set to take effect next week after a federal appeals court vacated a lower court ruling last week that had prevented its enforcement since 2024.

The new law also authorized state magistrates to order certain individuals to leave the country if they are convicted.

Just the News reports that after the bill was signed into law in 2023, multiple groups sued, arguing the law is unconstitutional and a district court and panel of Fifth Circuit judges agreed.

The class-action lawsuit names the Texas Department of Public Safety and its director as defendants and calls for a restraining order and to block four key provisions of  SB 4.

The California primaries are the best thing to happen to Republicans facing a perilous midterms. It’s California, one of only two states the media cares about (the other being New York). The “jungle primary” puts Rs and Ds against each other early on, with the two top vote getters moving to the general. And having Rs on stage with Ds helps expose that, while Trump might not be polling well, Americans hate what the left has been selling. This was clear as Republican Steven Hilton totally pantsed all the Democrats on stage.

Point of information: Democrats have been in total control of California for decades, so anything happening in the state is their fault. This makes it awkward for other Democrats to say that the state isn’t working for Californians. Or, while we’re at it, New Yorkers either.

The safe, consultant-driven thing for Hilton to do would be to avoid the word “Trump” at all costs. Instead, he, as a legal immigrant, says if elected, he’ll work with Trump to enforce the laws dealing with the illegal ones. Then you had when the Democrats on stage tried to blame Donald Trump for California being a su-diddly-ucky place to live.

Donald Trump is the president in ALL the other states of America, where the cost of living is WAY LOWER than in California.

It’s not Donald Trump who’s given us gas prices $2 higher than the REST of the country! It’s Democrat policies, which ALL the Democrats here support.

It’s NOT Donald Trump that’s given us the highest housing costs in the country. It’s Democrat policies that all these Democrats support!

Obviously, it is way past time for change in California and endlessly going on about Donald Trump doesn’t serve the needs of the struggling families and small businesses.
