During an interview with Thursday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” Vice President JD Vance said the Trump administration was prepared for liberal judges at the federal level interfering with deportation efforts.

Vance said the Trump administration was willing to litigate all the way to the Supreme Court.

“We can limit the jurisdiction of certain courts,” Vance said. “Even when certain courts make a ruling, say that you’re not allowed to deport a person for a certain reason, we can still deport that person for another reason. So it’s not like deportations have stopped, but yes, the radical courts are a problem. But our view here is we knew we were going to have this fight. We were prepared for it.”

Democrats looked like they were stifling a visceral rage during Tuesday’s Foreign Affairs South and Central Asia House Subcommittee hearing titled, “The Censorship-Industrial Complex: The Need for First Amendment Safeguards at the State Department.”

None more so than Nina Jankowicz, who led the short-lived, now dead Disinformation Governance Board for former President Joe Biden. Today, she is the CEO of the American Sunlight Project and considers herself an “expert on disinformation and democratization.”

Jankowicz refused to answer when Rep. Michael Baumgartner, R-Wash., asked her to disclose the name of donors for the American Sunlight Project.

“So, sunlight for other people but not for your donors,” he said. Baumgartner also asked if there was a loss of trust with the American people when the Biden White House called videos of Biden acting disorientated “cheap fakes.”

“I think in those cases, there were nefarious editing techniques being used to make the effects seem worse than it actually was,” Jankowicz said. We now know that internally, the White House was worried about Biden’s cheese was falling off his cracker.

The PBS News Hour on Monday ran two stories grounded in liberal alarmism against the Trump administration’s quest to cut wasteful spending and fraud in the federal government, including at USAID — the United States Agency for International Development that provides foreign aid and economic development worldwide.

The point was reemphasized in the introduction from guest host William Brangham: “On the News Hour tonight, days after a deadly earthquake hit Myanmar and neighboring countries, USAID is largely absent, leaving a vacuum that China is quickly filling.”

Which begs the question — just how much international respect has the United States been getting for its “soft power” via its enormous worldwide work through USAID and related programs? It seems many around the world are primed to hate the United States no matter what it does or doesn’t do.

Reporter Nick Schifrin emphasized that “International aid organizations such as the U.N.’s Children’s Fund and World Food Program are working to deliver relief” and that “One of the most visible rescue teams has been Chinese. This morning, Chinese rescuers pulled a child out of the rubble, the team’s successes broadcast on Chinese TV.”

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich testified before a House panel on Tuesday to warn of the “constitutional crisis” being forced on America thanks to the radical, out-of-control judges illegally attempting to crush a duly elected president.

Issa’s subcommittee held a joint hearing with the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government on Tuesday where Gingrich appeared.

“Fifteen district judges effectively seized control of various executive branch duties in the first six weeks of the current presidency through nationwide injunctions,” Gingrich explained. “This is potentially a judicial coup d’état and clearly violates the Constitution and more than 200 years of American history.”

President Donald Trump unveiled his reciprocal tariff plan Wednesday during a Rose Garden event the White House billed as “Liberation Day.”

With most of his cabinet on hand, as well as auto workers from Michigan, among others, Trump announced that he would be charging countries essentially half what his administration calculates, on average, they are imposing on the United States.

Further, there will be a 10 percent baseline across the board.

Trump called it a “kind reciprocal tariff” policy, saying he would be embarrassed to charge the full amount other countries are imposing on U.S. goods.

First on a list that Trump pointed to during the announcement was China, which he said charges the U.S. a 67 percent tariff (his chart indicated the administration’s tariff calculations include currency manipulation and trade barriers).

In response, Trump said his administration will be imposing a 34 percent tariff on Chinese goods.

Two of the world’s largest automakers announced on Thursday that they are offering America First deals on new vehicles for customers or making production changes while seeking to take advantage of President Donald Trump’s new tariffs on foreign-assembled vehicles.

For the next several months, Ford will be touting a “From America, For America” deal, which will offer new customers the chance to purchase vehicles at employee pricing, potentially knocking thousands of dollars off the going rate.

Steve Croley, the company’s chief policy officer, told “Fox & Friends” that Americans deserve a break for going out of their way to buy American-made cars.

“We’re going to offer customers the same deal that our employees get. That’s worth thousands of dollars,” he told host Brian Kilmeade.

“We’ve heard some uncertainty from our customers and we want them to be assured that Ford, the most American auto company, is going to do right by them, as are our dealers. We make the most cars here, we employ the most, we export the most, and so we here at Ford, we’re in a good position to address customers’ concern and give them a really great deal on a great vehicle,” he added.

Economist EJ Antoni, bucking the mainstream hysteria, is explaining that Donald Trump isn’t launching a trade war; he’s exposing the extremely unbalanced trade war the U.S. has been losing for decades.

In a hard-hitting op-ed for Fox News, Antoni compared Trump to one of his Republican presidential predecessors, U.S. Grant, for sheer grit and determination in spite of smear campaigns and prophecies of failure. The reality is that other countries have been imposing unfair tariffs on American goods while demanding no reciprocal tariffs for years. Trump is just insisting that other countries pay the same tariffs they require us to pay. The trade war already existed; it’s just that Trump wants to win.

Antoni insisted, “Trump is being attacked for being anti-free trade or for starting a trade war, but the opposite is true. For most of the last half century, the global economy has become entrenched in a pseudo-free trade that artificially disadvantages American exporters.”

He added, “In this sense, other nations declared a trade war on America decades ago, and our leaders never fought back.“ Trump’s reciprocal tariffs are meant to pressure other nations that do, in fact, rely on American trade and American consumers “to reduce their trade barriers and end a trade war that already exists.”

Nike stock is plunging on Thursday, the day after President Donald Trump announced reciprocal tariffs that will end the nation’s decades-long free trade policy.

“NKE was last seen 11.3% lower at $57.62, as investors digest the long-term impact of rising supply chain costs on the company’s margins,” Schaeffer’s Investment Research reports. “The stock is set to snap a three-day win streak, extending its late-March post-earnings bear gap and hitting its lowest level since November 2017. Nike stock now carries a 23.5% year-to-date deficit.”

On Wednesday evening, Trump announced reciprocal tariffs — adding a 34 percent tariff on China, a 46 percent tariff on Vietnam, a 49 percent tariff on Cambodia, a 32 percent tariff on Indonesia, and a 36 percent tariff on Thailand, among a long list of others.

Reuters reports:

Shares in Nike, Adidas, and Puma dropped sharply after Vietnam was targeted with a 46% tariff rate, Cambodia with 49%, Bangladesh with 37% and Indonesia with 32%, while Trump hiked tariffs on China by an extra 34 percentage points, following the earlier 20% tariffs. [Emphasis added]

General Motors is the latest automobile company to respond to President Donald Trump’s newly implemented auto tariffs, announcing it will be ramping up production in Indiana.

The shake-up for GM, known for brands such as Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC, will bring about an uptick in production at its plant near Fort Wayne, Indiana, which is known for producing Chevrolet’s Silverado 1500 and GMC’s Sierra 1500. (LifeSiteNews) — Author Whitney Webb said that globalists need a “WWII type” catastrophe in order to usher in a new financial system using digital IDs and digital currencies.

In an interview published by Library of Wealth, Webb, the author of One Nation Under Blackmail: The Sordid Union Between Intelligence and Crime That Gave Rise to Jeffrey Epstein, discussed the monetary system that the globalist elite plans to roll out.

Webb said the globalists “ just need some sort of big event on the scale of World War II or some large event that’s equally disruptive in order to be like: ‘Alright, now it’s time for a new financial governance system after this big event,’ like they did after World War II.”

”I think they sort of give it away when they say that this is the new Bretton Woods movement that needs to be seized,” she stated. “Bretton Woods was what came out of World War II essentially and was the creation of a new financial governance system.”

Despite last-minute pressure from President Donald Trump, four Senate Republicans on Wednesday bucked demands to back his plan for sharp new tariffs on Canada, a slap in the face that he has promised not to forget.

A midnight missive by President Trump early Wednesday morning wasn’t enough to prevent the four Republicans from joining with unanimous Democratic support to pass a resolution denouncing President Trump’s tariffs on Canada. Of the four — Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Rand Paul (R-KY), Susan Collins (R-ME), and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) — only Collins is up for reelection next year while McConnell has announced his intent to retire.

Trump previously implored the four holdouts to “get on the Republican bandwagon, for a change, and fight the Democrats wild and flagrant push to not penalize Canada for the sale, into our Country, of large amounts of Fentanyl, by Tariffing the value of this horrible and deadly drug in order to make it more costly to distribute and buy.”

In a fiery floor speech on Wednesday, Sen. Paul accused Trump of placing a tax hike on the American people by leveeing his new tariffs.

“This is a tax, plain and simple,” he said of Trump’s Canada tariffs. “Taxes should not be enacted by one person. So I will vote today to end the emergency. I will vote today to try to reclaim the power of taxation, the power of the tariff, to where the Constitution designated it should properly be, and that is in Congress.”

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson ruled in a March 28 opinion that the Trump administration couldn’t unilaterally shut down the CFPB, with the prospect being out of its jurisdiction. On Thursday, a three-judge panel on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit paused Jackson’s halt. It clarified that its ruling didn’t regard the argument’s merits but rather allowed the courts more time to consider the matter.

“The purpose of this administrative stay is to give the court sufficient opportunity to consider the emergency motion for stay pending appeal and should not be construed in any way as a ruling on the merits of that motion,” the panel wrote.

The CFPB will remain open and operative during the period of review.

The bureau was one of the earliest and most controversial targets of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) founded the bureau after the 2008 financial crisis to help consumers. Critics argued that it drifted from its original purpose, becoming an opaque agency that abused its authority, pursuing targets such as a community-focused financial lending company.

One of its critics, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), introduced legislation in February to abolish it altogether, saying it had gone “rogue.”

Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney Flip-Flops After Anti-U.S. Rhetoric — Now Calls America “Our Most Important Security Ally” | The Gateway Pundit– www.thegatewaypundit.com

Excerpt:

Canada’s unelected Prime Minister Mark Carney has walked back his incendiary remarks declaring an end to the historic Canada-U.S. alliance—now hailing America as “our most important security ally.”

Carney, a former central banker parachuted into power by globalist elites without ever facing the Canadian electorate, made headlines just days ago for a blistering anti-American tirade.

At a press conference in Ottawa, the newly installed leftist leader had declared the “old relationship” with the United States to be “over,” lashing out at President Trump’s bold move to impose permanent 25% tariffs on Canadian auto exports—an America First policy aimed at protecting American workers and industries from foreign undercutting.

Carney: Our biggest challenge as a country is becoming the most urgent. Over the coming weeks, months, and years, we must fundamentally reimagine our economy. We will need to ensure that Canada can succeed in a drastically different world.

The old relationship we had with the United States—based on deepening integration of our economies and tight security and military cooperation—is over.

What exactly the United States does next is unclear. But what is clear is that we, as Canadians, have agency. We have power. We are masters in our own home.

We can control our destiny. We can give ourselves much more than any foreign government, including the United States, can ever take away. We can deal with this crisis best by building our strength right here at home.

It will take hard work. It will take steady focus and determination—from governments, from businesses, from labor, from Canadians. We will need to dramatically reduce our reliance on the United States.

We will need to pivot our trade relationships elsewhere, and we will need to do things previously thought impossible, at speeds we haven’t seen in generations.

Five Ways Non-Citizens With Social Security Numbers Scam US– thefederalist.com

When Elon Musk and his DOGE colleague Antonio Gracias showed a Wisconsin audience how non-citizens get Social Security Numbers (SSNs), their presentation painted the clearest picture yet of the long-term damage former President Joe Biden’s open border policy will have on the United States.

Standing in front of a huge chart, they showed how the number of SSNs issued to new non-citizens spiked in 2024.

The total SSNs issued in 2021 was roughly 270,000; in 2022 it climbed to 590,000, and in 2023, there were 964,000 SSNs issued to new non-citizens. But in 2024 it more than doubled to over 2 million. This counts only non-citizens who got their SSNs through the Enumeration Beyond Entry program, a system where the Social Security Administration automatically issues SSNs and cards to certain foreign nationals in the U.S., as part of an agreement with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Judge Admits ‘Concerns’ About ‘Security’ Of GA Voting System– thefederalist.com

U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia Amy Totenberg admitted in a late Monday ruling that there are “substantial concerns” about Georgia’s voting system but refused to address them, instead dismissing a years-long case that sought to move the state to hand-marked paper ballots for alleged lack of standing.

The case, Curling v. Raffensperger, was brought back in 2017 and has since evolved. Plaintiffs, which include the Coalition for Good Governance and several Georgia voters, asked the court — according to Totenberg’s ruling — “to stop Georgia’s use of its electronic in-person voting system so that it can be replaced with a hand-marked paper ballot system.”

Plaintiffs argued, in part, that the current voting system “makes it impossible for these voters to verify that the QR codes on their printed ballots, which are used to tabulate their votes, accurately reflect the ballot selections they made on the voting machines,” according to the ruling.

Totenberg ruled that “Plaintiffs lack standing to pursue their claims because neither of these asserted injuries constitute an invasion of a legally protected interest under governing precedent.” But Totenberg also ruled that plaintiffs “identified substantial concerns about the administration, maintenance, and security of Georgia’s electronic in-person voting system …”

Wisconsin Question 1 asked voters whether a new section should be added to the state constitution “to require that voters present valid photographic identification verifying their identity in order to vote in any election,” according to text of the amendment from Ballotpedia.

As of Wednesday morning, roughly 62.7 percent of voters cast their ballots in the affirmative, while 37.3 percent voted against the measure, according to vote tallies from The New York Times.

FBI Agent Didn’t Know He Was Supposed to Lie, So He Confirmed Biden Laptop Was Real on Call with Twitter: Report– www.westernjournal.com

Amid the volley of “now the truth can be told”-style stories coming out about the last days of President Joe Biden’s administration in the run-up to the 2024 election — and those are bad enough — we’re now getting them about the run-up to the 2020 election, too.

In fairness, we probably should have seen this coming; the Biden administration spent four years protecting the swamp at all costs and invoking the specter of the worst day in the history of all of humanity — Jan. 6, 2021, obvs — to ward off anyone who shined a light into the D.C. bog.

But now, thanks to a report from Catherine Herridge and Michael Shellenberger, two prominent independent journalists, we can see inside the FBI’s response to Hunter Biden’s laptop in regards to social media — and, surprise, surprise, it’s every bit as bad as we thought it would be.

The report said that federal investigators confirmed that, yes, they told Twitter the truth about Hunter Biden’s laptop — i.e., that it was real — before Twitter throttled a story from the New York Post about its unseemly contents.

Illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border dropped once again in March, plummeting to a historic low, with Border Patrol encountering just over 7,000 for the entirety of March.

Border Czar Tom Homan praised Trump’s leadership for achieving a stunning drop in illegal border crossings in a post on X.

“President Trump’s leadership continues to break records! Newsom’s California Has Sent Nearly $18 Million in Taxpayer Funds to Soros-Backed Tides Center– freebeacon.com

California has doled out nearly $18 million in taxpayer funding to the left-wing Tides Center since Gavin Newsom (D.) became governor in 2019, a Washington Free Beacon review of state spending records found. Thanks to the way the dark money behemoth operates, it’s a mystery whether the money goes to any of the far-left groups it supports.

That setup allows the state to obscure which group actually gets taxpayer dollars after it awards contracts or grants to the Tides Center. The Golden State’s spending database shows that 18 agencies, ranging from health departments to workplace regulators, sent payments to the George Soros-backed nonprofit. The database does not reveal which project gets the cash in the end. State officials also told the Free Beacon that the database is missing information from some departments, meaning total payments to the Tides Center could eclipse the nearly $18 million shown.

The Tides Center essentially acts like a middle man, funneling hundreds of millions of dollars every year to a network of seemingly independent charitable organizations—primarily progressive activist groups. But unlike traditional nonprofits, these groups are housed within the Tides Center as so-called fiscally sponsored projects, enabling them to operate as charities while sidestepping the IRS’s robust financial transparency requirements for tax-exempt groups.

Police arrest U.K. parents for criticizing school leaders in private social media group – Standing for Freedom Center– www.standingforfreedom.com

The increasingly authoritarian nature of the British government is back in the spotlight this week after news broke that police arrested, interrogated, and jailed parents in Hertfordshire, England, for complaining about school policy and criticizing school leaders in a private group chat.

All this comes as the town’s new constable is set to release a report on the incident.

It all started in May 2024, when Maxie Allen, whose daughter Sascha, 9, was attending Cowley Hill Primary School, contacted the chair of governors of the school to question the hiring process of its new head teacher. Allen noted that despite the former head teacher having retired six months earlier, the school had not publicly posted the job and had instead given it to the former deputy head teacher.

Allen says that the chair’s response was “evasive,” so he sent a letter to all the school governors asking about the decision not to open recruitment to other candidates.

Allen posted the letter in a private WhatsApp parents’ group.

The next month, Jackie Spriggs, who is the chair of governors, wrote a letter to parents claiming that parents were using WhatsApp “to make inflammatory and defamatory comments about senior leaders in the school.”
