For instance, they often overlook the fact that it was Southern Democrats who fought—and died—to uphold slavery. They also seem to prefer that people forget they were the ones who opposed the Civil Rights Act and that they were historically associated with the KKK. Nevertheless, I think most readers can see clearly who’s trying to rewrite history—and it certainly isn’t the political party that was founded to end slavery.
As she said, rewriting history “does not make it go away,” and the sooner she follows her own advice, the better off she’ll be.

Disney itself admitted once again that pulling Kimmel off air was merely a business decision — exactly what was reported at least four days ago. It wasn’t Trump or the FCC — if it was, Disney would not be reinstating Kimmel. But that’s not what the propaganda press told us.
