A new video has emerged showing the final moments of a Minnesota woman’s encounter with an immigration officer before she was killed, as public uproar grows in the United States over the shooting and exclusion of local agencies from the investigation.

02 U.S. Politics
Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is in prison, possibly for the rest of his days, and while opinions differ on whether he murdered George Floyd in 2020, the actions of Minnesota’s political leadership this week put his conviction into question, and clearly show they have no place in any further investigation of the death of Renee Good.
No sooner had Wednesday’s tragic shooting occurred, than Minneapolis mayor and famed BLM kneeler Jacob Frey came out to say it was murder! Frey didn’t wait for evidence, much of which is on video. He immediately offered up the federal ICE agent as a sacrifice to the woke gods of the Minnesota lakes.
Similarly, Gov. Tim Walz, fresh off the humiliation of ending his reelection campaign because his office failed to police massive fraud by the very Somali migrants the federal government is investigating, railed against President Trump and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Minneapolis city council members, who are so far left that Chairman Mao might say, “Hey, slow your roll,” all condemned the ICE agent, proudly calling what is now clearly a justifiable shooting as cold-blooded murder.
On January 3, 2026, U.S. armed forces and law enforcement extracted Nicolás Maduro from Venezuela. I join President Trump in praising the men and women who led “Operation Absolute Resolve” and brought Maduro back to the United States to stand trial—all without the loss of American life.
Maduro is an indicted narco-terrorist who poisoned over 100,000 Americans. His “rap” sheet also includes involvement with transnational criminal organizations and befriending our foreign enemies like China, Iran, and Russia.
President Trump wants to fight this corruption, as do I. Operation Absolute Resolve made real progress on that front. Now people are asking, “How do we move forward?” My bill, the Americas Act, gives us that path forward.
The U.S. needs a clear plan for the Western Hemisphere that supports U.S. manufacturing, ends corruption, and counters foreign powers trying to muscle their way into our neighborhood. Look at Venezuela. Under Maduro, China was moving in fast, locking in influence while the country fell apart. If we don’t get a unified strategy together, we risk letting the Chinese Communist Party shape the future of our hemisphere instead of us.
The anti-ICE protests in Minneapolis have escalated as a “black bloc” has broken into a hotel in which federal law enforcement is assumed to be residing.

Once the mob gained access to The Depot Minneapolis, they began throwing various items across the lobby and into doors and windows. The video further showed agitators spray painting “f*** ICE” repeatedly onto the hotel windows.

Anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement extremists have come out of the woodwork after the lethal shooting of a woman by a federal immigration agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday, and Blaze News has exclusive footage of some of their unhinged demonstrations.
The footage shows chaotic chants and epithets tossed by dozens of activists against agents outside of the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in the Minneapolis area.
‘What have you done?! What have you done?! You terrorize our community! What do you know? Bunch of cowards!’
The video was recorded by Blaze News on the ground among the protesters.
“F**k you, you fascists pigs!” yells one protester.
“You murderers!” yells another.
The U.S. Military on Saturday launched a series of large-scale airstrikes targeting Islamic State (ISIS) positions across Syria.
These operations, conducted under the broader Operation Hawkeye Strike, involved more than 20 aircraft, including F-15E Strike Eagles, A-10 Thunderbolt IIs, AC-130J Ghostrider gunships, MQ-9 Reaper drones from the U.S. Air Force, and F-16 fighter jets from the Jordanian Air Force. Over 90 precision-guided munitions were deployed against at least 35 targets, which included weapons caches, supply routes, and other infrastructure supporting ISIS activities.
The strikes commenced around 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time and were coordinated with partner forces on the ground. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported no immediate civilian casualties or collateral damage assessments, emphasizing the actions as part of an ongoing effort to degrade ISIS capabilities and prevent attacks on U.S. and allied personnel.
U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent actions in Venezuela and his overall strategy for the Western Hemisphere should serve as a warning to all Canadians and require a more fulsome response from its political leaders, Canada’s former ambassador to the United Nations says.
Bob Rae, who finished his five-year ambassadorship last November, told Global News in an interview that the U.S. under Trump is rejecting multilateralism in favour of asserting its dominance over the hemisphere, without “any notion of legality.”
On Wednesday’s CNN This Morning, Democrat strategist Antjuan Seawright, commenting on President Trump’s Venezuela operation and his comments about Greenland, said:
“I don’t think this is the posture of someone who’s planning to leave the White House in three years because he’s been very aggressive about his foreign policy approach, and taking over countries.”
Aggressive foreign policy = determination to remain in power? Non sequitur much, Antjuan?
The aftermath of the ICE shooting of an anti-ICE activist in Minnesota has quickly exploded into a national story that sucks the oxygen out of anything else trying to elbow its way into the news cycle . This includes Venezuela, where the NBC Nightly News was the sole evening network newscast to chronicle a major development: the Chavista regime’s release of an indeterminate number of political prisoners.
Here is the Venezuela roundup that has the prisoner release at the top, in its entirety and as aired on NBC Nightly News on Thursday, January 8th, 2026:

Hypocrisy was in high gear on Morning Joe today regarding the Minneapolis ICE shooting. The panel accused President Trump and JD Vance of “prejudging” the situation and “jumping to conclusions.” But the panel repeatedly described Renee Nicole Good as “the victim.” If Good is the victim, that, ipso facto, makes the ICE agents the guilty parties. So who’s prejudging now?
That wasn’t the only instance of hypocrisy/double standards on display. Former DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson lamented that instead of “trying to calm people’s fears down,” leaders “are simply playing to [their] base and trying to amp it up.” While Johnson didn’t name names, this is MS NOW, so his accusation clearly seemed aimed at the Trump administration.
But when it comes to playing to the base and amping things up instead of calming people’s fears, consider these statements by an array of Democrats:
- Tim Walz called ICE “Trump’s Gestapo,” and declared, as he mobilized the MN National Guard, “we’ve never been at war with our federal government [until now?]”
- Jasmine Crockett called ICE “slave patrols.”
- Ilhan Omar called ICE agents “vile and beyond cruel.”
- Hakeem Jeffries implored people to “fight” the Trump administration “in the streets.”
- Good old Maxine Waters called Trump “lowdown, no good, filthy,” over ICE raids.
If protests are an “unstoppable force that they can’t oppose,” that Trump “can’t oppose,” why are they opposable? That is something Rachel Maddow will never be able to answer, but it won’t stop her from going on a rant about percentages, authoritarianism, and blah blah blah.
According to Rachel Maddow, “In political science terms, there’s what’s called the 3.5 percent rule, which is that if you look at authoritarian regimes all over the world over the last century, once you have 3.5 percent of a population protesting nonviolently against a dictator or an authoritarian, that is essentially an unstoppable force that they can’t oppose.”
The only problem with this is that it’s unclear what it is that Trump can’t oppose. What are they even fighting for? A woman who spent much of her free time dedicated to doxxing federal agents allegedly attempted to run over an officer with a deadly weapon. Now, apparently, 3.5 percent of the population is opposing this, and Maddow claims Trump can’t oppose that opposition.
Days after Renee Nicole Good tried to mow down an ICE agent with her car and got shot dead for it, fresh videos keep piling up. Each one proves the agent acted in self-defense. The latest clip of the shooting came straight from the agent’s cellphone, capturing her Honda Pilot barreling right at him.
That first-person footage hits different from the distant shots we saw early on. Good drove dead ahead while the agent stood smack in front of her bumper. Naturally, lefties scrambled as their story crumbled. Originally, they swore her car never touched him. A second angle proved them dead wrong. The cellphone footage buried any doubt. Even Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey admitted Good struck the agent with her car, even though he dismissed the seriousness of her actions.
Of course, the left is invested in the narrative that the agent was in the wrong, so they’ve leaned heavily into sob stories about Good. She was an “innocent mom” just dropping her kid off at school, they claimed. Another fairy tale portrayed Good as a terrified parent fleeing the scene. Yet another insisted she only wanted to turn around and leave — total baloney.
Newly obtained footage of the fatal shooting by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer on Wednesday appears to strengthen the case that he was acting in self-defense.
CNN aired the surveillance video taken from a home nearby, which showed an SUV being driven by Renee Nicole Good, 37, pulling into the middle of a Minneapolis street to obstruct ICE officers during an operation.
CNN noted that agents converged on the vehicle, and when Good tried to flee the scene, that’s when the shots were fired.
Anderson Cooper explained that the video showed the four minutes leading up to the shooting.
So in the new CNN footage, it is quite clear that the officer did not walk up to the front of the car. When Good backs up the car, it places him in the front and would give him very good reason to believe she was aiming at him as the car guns forward. pic.twitter.com/8yE5fj5BdT

While the accomplice media go about making the next “Maryland Man” out of the Minneapolis woman fatally shot after allegedly trying to ram an ICE agent with her vehicle, more details are emerging about the radical life and times of Renee Nicole Good.
As the New York Post reports, the 37-year-old woman was known as an anti-ICE “warrior” in a group called “ICE Watch.” The Post describes the resistance movement as a “loose coalition of activists dedicated to disrupting ICE raids” in sanctuary city Minneapolis.
In fact, ICE Watch and radical groups like it have popped up around the country, emerging during President Donald Trump’s first term and exploding in this first year of a second term laser-focused on cleaning up America’s illegal immigration mess.
The left has been protesting and attending memorials for Renee Good, the woman shot and killed by an ICE agent after an act of self-defense. Liberals can protest and mourn all they want, but they do so because they don’t live in this little thing called “reality.” Because in reality, people would not mourn a woman en masse after her actions could have killed someone. This is not to say that it wasn’t tragic that she lost her life, but it was of her “own making.” Nonetheless, one white woman would like to chime in and cry about why this is somehow an issue regarding skin color.
According to this liberal woman, “it feels wrong” to be at the memorial. Why the left obsesses over feelings so much is beyond reason, but feelings are not facts. This is why she should not overanalyze how she “feels,” because it’s rooted in her imagination. Nonetheless, her faulty reasoning then concluded that she’s a white woman and she “has a lot of privilege,” and that she “feels like white tears are not always helpful or necessary.” She then claimed Black and Brown people have been dealing with this for a long time.
Democrats have rushed to brand a Wednesday shooting involving ICE as “murder” and “state sanctioned execution.” After months of attacks against ICE agents, such rhetoric only serves one purpose: to justify more vigilante violence.
Renee Good was fatally shot Wednesday after accelerating her vehicle toward an ICE agent standing in front of it during an encounter in Minneapolis. The ICE agent fired what the Department of Homeland Security described as “defensive shots.” Notably, seconds before the shooting, law enforcement seemingly ordered Good to exit her vehicle — but instead, she tried to flee.
Nonetheless, Democrats have recklessly rushed to issue a verdict, that is, that the shooting was “murder.”
California Democrat Rep. Jimmy Gomez said on X: “This was the glove compartment of the mother your agents just murdered,” alongside a photo of what is presumably the inside of Good’s vehicle. Democrat New York Rep. Dan Goldman accused Stephen Miller of “inciting untrained thugs to murder Americans.”
Yesterday in Minneapolis, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were conducting a lawful immigration operation when Renee Nicole Macklin Good allegedly weaponized her vehicle in an attempt to run over federal agents. An ICE agent fatally shot Macklin in what the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) described as self-defense. The investigation is ongoing, and body camera footage has yet to be released.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey immediately blamed federal agents for the shooting, telling ICE, in an expletive, to “get out of Minneapolis” and accusing them of sowing chaos. This despite the fact that ICE agents were performing their constitutional duty to enforce immigration laws — the same laws that apply in every state, including Minnesota.
The Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association condemned the “irresponsible” and “reckless rhetoric from political leaders attacking law enforcement,” stating it “has real and dangerous consequences for officers on the street” and “fuels hostility.” DHS reports a 1,300 percent increase in assaults and an 8,000 percent increase in death threats against ICE agents — directly linked to the demonization by sanctuary politicians in deep-blue cities and states.
Leftist agitators and the corporate media wasted no time capitalizing on the death of a woman who was fatally shot by an ICE officer after she appeared to ram an agent who was positioned in front of her vehicle.
While those with common sense rightly point out that the shooting was justified by the circumstances and backed up by legal precedent, the left quickly capitalized on the woman’s death by further demonizing federal law enforcement and repeating their tired accusation that the Trump administration is little more than a fascist tyranny.
The shooting on Wednesday and the Somali fraud scandal that at least partially caused the ICE crackdown in Minneapolis call attention to the fact that the left will fanatically defend those whose crimes they themselves have facilitated.
This week, President Trump sent shockwaves through Wall Street when he announced via Truth Social his plan to ban large corporations and foreign entities from purchasing single-family homes. The proposal targets institutional investors like Blackstone and other real estate investment trusts that have been buying up American homes by the hundreds of thousands — driving up prices and locking out first-time buyers.
Political support came swiftly from both sides of the aisle. Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, announced that he would introduce legislation to codify the ban, saying, “Millions of young Americans have been locked out of the American Dream.” Rep. Riley Moore, R-W.V., called it “huge,” while Sens. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., and Jim Banks, R-Ind., signaled support. Even Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said she’s been advocating for years to limit Wall Street from buying up America’s homes.
The market reaction was severe. Invitation Homes tumbled 6 percent. Blackstone fell 9 percent. American Homes 4 Rent dropped 6.3 percent. And Wall Street understood completely: Trump means business. But for Main Street families, this proposal offers real hope.
Thousands of anti-ICE demonstrators gathered around the scene of an ICE-involved shooting in South Minneapolis, which left a 37-year-old woman dead after she attempted to run down a federal agent with her vehicle on Wednesday morning.
Shortly after the incident took place at the corner of Portland and 34th Street, a sizable contingent of leftist rioters proceeded to pelt federal agents with projectiles and blunt objects as they attempted to evacuate the scene. Agents deployed less-than-lethal crowd control measures while exiting, leaving the scene in the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department.
Not long after 2 p.m. local time, police fled after they came under assault by rioters hurling snowballs and other projectiles. A mob then proceeded to advance up 34th Street, impeding traffic and harassing drivers.
A number of rioters also stormed the Diana E. Murphy United States Courthouse at 300 South Fourth Street, the main federal court facility in the city. Rioters smashed bulletproof glass out front of the building, while a woman who identified herself as a “lawyer” told the crowd to line up outside the doors in order to trap everyone inside.
The problem with the left is that they don’t actually stand for anything. This is why they would rather support a narco-terrorist dictator while protesting a fake dictator, a.k.a. the leader of the free world. They hate Trump so much that they would rather have Venezuelans continue to live in poverty and famine in an effort not give him a win. This is because, to them, this is a third-world problem—something their first-world brains could not even begin to understand if their lives depended on it. This is wrong, which is why one Venezuelan woman broke down in tears while speaking to KATV, calling out liberals for saying, “This is not a reason for celebration.”
The people who have a problem with what happened in Venezuela cannot even begin to understand anything this woman is saying. They don’t know what it’s like to not have a shower. In the U.S., something like Walmart is often frequented by lower-income individuals. But to this woman, she couldn’t even believe such a selection of food existed.
Many of her friends just disappeared. Many of her loved ones were forced to eat trash. The people were living in fear. This is not something the left can even begin to comprehend. They don’t even care, as they would rather these people suffer than give Trump a win.
Yeah, some woman got wrecked trying to murder federal agents and got a face-full of lead. Sorry, not sorry. We’re taking a victory lap here. We all saw how the Left reacted when Charlie Kirk got assassinated, so excuse me as I couldn’t give less of a #$%^ about your indignation right now, liberal America. These agents were doing their job: enforcing federal immigration laws. This leftist clown, Renee Nicole Good, 37, tried to run over an ICE agent and was shot and killed.
During a press conference this evening with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, the officer was struck by Good’s vehicle and went to the hospital. ICE operations will not end. The deportations will continue. And the memes from this incident have been gold. A great way to not get shot by law enforcement is to not try and run them over.

Rioters smashed the doors of the federal courthouse in downtown Minneapolis while chanting “ICE OUT NOW!”—as leftist organizers mobilized thousands more protesters at the site of the ICE-involved shooting, screaming “RISE UP.” This chaos did not erupt spontaneously. It was fueled by deliberate incitement from Democrat officials and activists who know exactly what they are doing.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz openly urged Americans to take to the streets, telling crowds in Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, and beyond to “stand with us” against federal enforcement. Instead of calling for calm or ordering an end to the obstruction and assault of federal officers, he encouraged mass protest against the Trump administration—while Minneapolis leaders told ICE to “get the f*ck out” and Democrat candidates urged people to put their “bodies on the line.” This is not de-escalation. It is mobilization.
What is unfolding is not protest—it is organized insurrection. Large networks of leftist extremists and self-described communists coordinated all-day harassment of ICE agents, following them, blockading roads, filming confrontations, and provoking encounters. Video shows agents being stalked for hours. One rioter blockaded the road while others filmed. Four vehicle-ramming incidents occurred in a single day.
Wednesday’s fatal shooting of 37-year-old Renee Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer has brough even more national attention to arrest and deportation efforts and more national attention still to the state of Minnesota after seemingly countless fraud schemes in the Somali population were exposed.
On the former, media members and the public alike took to dissecting Wednesday’s footage of Good’s altercation with ICE as she tried to stop officers from doing their jobs, parking her car in the street and refusing to move it.
Good’s last moments as she tried to drive into an officer have been the subject of intense debate as to what her intentions actually were, but another telling moment from her partner reveals why she was trying to stop ICE in the first place.
According to the New York Post, Good’s partner, in the immediate aftermath, was heard saying, “I made her come down here, it’s my fault.”
“They just shot my wife,” she added.
On Wednesday, an anti-ICE protester thought it would be a good idea to attempt to run over ICE agents in Minneapolis. She learned the hard way that attacking a federal law enforcement officer is not a good idea, and officers wound up shooting and killing her.
Ever since, the left has been gaslighting the public, claiming that the ICE agent shot her without provocation, that he wasn’t in front of the car when she hit the gas, that she was just turning her vehicle when she was shot, and that she wasn’t even involved in the anti-ICE protests.
An eyewitness to the incident has completely blown apart the left’s false narratives and even directly contradicted claims from the victim’s own mother that she had nothing to do with the protest that turned violent.

The 26-year-old man who allegedly attacked the Cincinnati home of Vice President JD Vance early Monday morning appears to be yet another radical transvestite.
Just hours after the vice president concluded his visit to the city and departed for the national capital, a suspect armed with a hammer was spotted by U.S. Secret Service agents running along the front fence, then breaching the perimeter of Vance’s Ohio house.
‘As far as I can tell, a crazy person tried to break in.’
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Cincinnati indicated in a release that the suspect, William DeFoor, was ordered to stop and drop the hammer after he allegedly attempted to break the window of a USSS vehicle blocking the driveway entrance. DeFoor allegedly refused to comply and proceeded to smash the front windows of Vance’s house — windows apparently equipped with “enhanced security assets.”
DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION—One of the largest hotel chains in the United States is purportedly refusing service to immigration agents amid a growing crackdown in the Minneapolis region.
A hotel associated with Hilton Hotels & Resorts is explicitly refusing service to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents attempting to book reservations in Minneapolis, according to a company email released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
The apparent anti-ICE policy follows increased federal law enforcement activity in the city, which is reeling from immigrant-related fraud.
“We have noticed an influx of GOV reservations made today that have been for DHS, and we are not allowing any ICE or immigration agents to stay at our property,” a Hilton email stated to an unidentified DHS employee. “If you are with DHS or immigration, let us know as we will have to cancel your reservation.”
Hilton allegedly followed up on this email with another message roughly two hours later:
Nick Shirley, a 23-year-old conservative YouTuber and independent journalist, gained national attention in late December 2025 after posting a viral 43-minute video titled, “I Investigated Minnesota’s Billion Dollar Fraud Scandal,” in which he visited several Minneapolis childcare centers — primarily Somali-run — and claimed they were empty or inactive despite receiving millions in federal and state government funding.
Shirley’s footage showed locked doors, blacked out windows, and no visible children during his visits despite public payment records, sparking national scrutiny, federal investigations by the FBI and DHS, a temporary freeze on childcare funding to Minnesota (and briefly nationwide), and political fallout — most notably Gov. Tim Walz (D) dropping his re-election bid.
On yesterday’s episode of “The Glenn Beck Program,” Shirley told Glenn that the Minnesota day-care fraud he exposed doesn’t even scratch the surface. If we want to see how deep the corruption really goes, there are several people who absolutely must be investigated.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass (D) is running for re-election. A year after the horrific failures of the Palisades and Eaton Fires that raged while she partied in Ghana on the taxpayers’ dime, you would think she’d either slink under a rock or take some accountability.
Instead, she is making the rounds of D-List Democrat podcasts, like former DNC Chair Jaime Harrison, to reinvent and manufacture a record that doesn’t exist. Bass’ latest revisionist take: The 2025 L.A. anti-ICE Riots were comparable to rowdy sports fans when the Lakers won the championship. Apparently, flaming Waymos and Mexican flags are now standard at championship parades.
Bass also ranted that the National Guard wasn’t needed to quell last summer’s unrest, and alleged that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers are just modern-day slave patrols.
