China has executed two men responsible for two deadly attacks within a week in November last year.

Fan Weiqiu, 62, killed at least 35 people and injured dozens more after he drove his car into people exercising outside a stadium in Zhuhai, in what is thought to be the deadliest attack on Chinese soil for a decade.

Days later, Xu Jiajin, 21, killed eight people and wounded 17 others in a stabbing spree at his university in the eastern city of Wuxi.

Authorities said Fan was driven by “dissatisfaction” over how his property had been divided following his divorce, while Xu carried out his attack after “failing to obtain his diploma due to poor exam results”.

Fan was detained at the scene on 11 November, where he was found with self-inflicted wounds.

In December, he was found guilty of “endangering public safety”, with the court describing his motive as “extremely vile” and “the methods” used “particularly cruel”.

On January 19, Freeland, who recently resigned from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet, announced that she would run for Liberal leader now that Trudeau says he is stepping down. Around this time, the WEF’s profile on Freeland was taken down from their website.

“Sorry, but we can’t find the page you were looking for,” the page now says after clicking on the link which originally brought users to Freeland’s WEF profile. The page is still viewable via the internet archive, which notes that she is on the Board of Trustees for the globalist group best known for its infamous “Great Reset” agenda.

In addition to the WEF page being deleted, the majority of Freeland’s Instagram posts have been removed from public view.

Leftists Expected 10,000 People to Rally Against President Trump, Only Dozens Came– www.lifenews.com

Left-wing groups opposing Donald Trump’s second presidency had plans to “fight back” with thousands of protesters in Washington, D.C. on Monday — but that’s not what happened.

The Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER) Coalition and the People’s Forum, who were behind anti-Israel riots last summer in the nation’s capital, organized Inauguration Day rallies that led local law enforcement to expect around 10,000 people across the town, starting at Malcolm X Park. The Daily Caller News Foundation, however, observed a different scene: a crowd of dozens standing in the snow, a pile of unused megaphones, and complaints about the icy weather.

“We are here on a day that is so cold that they decided to put the inauguration indoors,” one speaker said at a podium. “But for us, we’re saying that we will be here no matter what, no matter how cold it is!”

Protesters filled roughly half of the park to decry the new president’s conservative agenda while making radical demands such as the release of Palestinian criminals in Israel, labeled “political prisoners,” and “the abolition of police, prisons, and cages.”

4 GOP States Sue To Stop Illegals From Being Counted In Census– thefederalist.com

A group of attorneys general are suing to stop illegal immigrants from diluting the voting power of American citizens.

Attorneys general from Louisiana, Kansas, Ohio, and West Virginia filed a lawsuit on Sunday to stop the Census Bureau from counting illegal immigrants in the census, which is used to apportion congressional seats and electoral votes. The suit alleges that then-President Joe Biden’s administration instructed the bureau to count illegal immigrants in the 2020 census and as a result, Ohio and West Virginia each lost a congressional seat and an electoral vote.

President Donald Trump signed a memo in July of 2020 that barred illegal immigrants to be counted in the census, but former President Joe Biden later reversed the policy. The size of a state’s population affects the number of congressional seats and electoral votes they have.

“After the 2020 Census, [Defendants] included illegal aliens and aliens holding temporary visas … in the census figures used for determining the apportionment of the House of Representatives and Electoral College votes,” the suit reads. “Due to this unlawful decision … Ohio lost one congressional seat and one electoral vote in the reapportionment conducted pursuant to the 2020 Census.”

President Donald Trump finally drove the teeth of his MAGA buzzsaw into the government on Monday, moving to lay off “thousands” of White House employees he accused of being disloyal to his administration.

In an overnight announcement on social media, the 47th president held up the scalps of four individuals he cut loose and warned thousands more that they are at risk of suffering the same fate if they flinch in the face of his relentless agenda to obliterate the past four years of the Biden-Harris administration.

“Our first day in the White House is not over yet! My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration, who are not aligned with our vision to Make America Great Again,” he wrote on Truth Social shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

“Let this serve as Official Notice of Dismissal for these 4 individuals, with many more, coming soon. Jose Andres from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, Mark Milley from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, Brian Hook from the Wilson Center for Scholars, and Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President’s Export Council – YOU’RE FIRED!”

Trump Takes a Sledgehammer to Gender Ideology, Ensures Protection for Women and Girls – PJ Media– pjmedia.com

Donald Trump’s first day in office has been an epic one indeed. He signed dozens of executive orders dismantling the Biden legacy and restoring sanity to the U.S. government.

Things were so crazy during the Biden administration that Trump had to use an executive order to reaffirm the reality of biological sex and establish that it is the policy of the United States that there are only two sexes, male and female, which are not interchangeable.

As PJ Media’s Sarah Anderson previously noted, this likely means that individuals who got passports with the third “X” gender option during the Biden years will likely need new ones, and they’re gonna have to choose their biological sex, not their fantasy “gender identity” either.

It’s a huge win. But this executive order is so much bigger than that. In this executive order, Trump took a sledgehammer to this dangerous and destructive ideology.

The Senate overwhelmingly confirmed Marco Rubio as America’s new secretary of state on Monday evening, fast-tracking the now-former Florida senator through a confirmation process in which he gained broad backing from lawmakers in both parties.

Senators voted to confirm Rubio, who was first elected to represent the Sunshine State in the upper chamber in 2011, in a 99 to 0 vote. During his confirmation hearing last week, Rubio earned praise from both Democrats and Republicans on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, where he once served as a senior member.

Rubio takes over a State Department that aggressively pursued liberal policies under the Biden administration, including through diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that cost millions in taxpayer dollars. Rubio and President Donald Trump both vowed to rein in the diplomatic agency by refocusing it on what the newly installed White House described Monday as an “America-First foreign policy.”

The left is ginning up its lie machine again, this time claiming that Elon Musk gave a “Nazi salute” during his address on stage on Monday.

Musk took to the stage to deliver an enthusiastic thanks to supporters in the audience and around the world.

At one point he said a heartfelt “thank you” to everyone, the in a perhaps goofy gesture, put his hand to his heart and made a motion as if he was throwing or opening his heart to everyone.

He followed that up again saying thank you to everyone.

The protesters’ messages ranged from declaring that “the people will defeat Trump’s billionaire agenda” to “all you facists [sic] bound to lose.” Another flyer claimed that “extreme heat is a climate disaster” ahead of the inauguration, which was moved indoors due to extreme cold.

One banner promised to “fight Trump’s agenda,” while promising to say “no to deportations,” “defend women’s and reproductive rights” and “stand with Palestine.”

The United States Senate passed the Laken Riley Act on Monday, a bill that requires the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to take illegal aliens who have been arrested, charged, or convicted of crimes such as theft, burglary, shoplifting, or larceny into custody.

In a 64-35 vote, the U.S. Senate passed the Laken Riley Act, hours after President Donald Trump was inaugurated into office.

Twelve Democrats were reported to have voted in favor of the Laken Riley Act, according to the Hill.

Prior to the vote, Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) stated that the Laken Riley Act would “ensure that illegal aliens who steal or assault a law enforcement officer” would be detained “instead of being allowed out on the streets.”

“This legislation will ensure that illegal aliens who steal or assault a law enforcement officer are detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement instead of being allowed out on the streets,” Thune said. “I’m looking forward to getting this legislation to the president’s desk.”

A new CNN poll finds that the Democrat Party is at its lowest point on more than 30 years.

The poll, conducted for CNN by SSRS Opinion Panel found only 33 percent had a favorable view of the Democrat Part, the lowest since 1992.

It also found that 58 percent of those who said they are Democrats feel that the party needs “major changes” going forward. In 2022, that measured in at only 34 percent of Democrats who felt their party had stumbled.

Meanwhile, the number of Republicans who felt their party needed major changes went from 38 percent in 2022 to only 28 percent today.

CNN added:

Only 49% of Democratic-aligned adults say they expect their party’s congressional representatives to be even somewhat effective at resisting GOP policies, while more than 9 in 10 Republican-aligned adults expect their party’s congressional representatives — who now control both chambers of Congress — to be at least somewhat effective at passing new laws to enact their agenda.

President Donald Trump revoked the security clearances of the former intelligence officials who attempted to discredit the authenticity of the Hunter Biden laptop ahead of the 2020 election, as part of a slew of executive orders signed Monday evening.

The 51 former intelligence community officials claimed in an October 2020 letter that a New York Post report about Hunter Biden’s laptop and its contents, had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.” The New York Post story was dismissed by then-candidate Joe Biden and had its reach limited by various social media platforms, relying on the letter. The authenticity of the laptop was later confirmed by numerous media outlets, including the Washington Examiner.

As one of his many executive orders signed Monday evening, Trump revoked the security clearances of the letter’s signatories and former Trump national security adviser John Bolton.

The president said federal government policymakers rely on members of the intelligence community to provide analysis that is “free from politically motivated engineering to affect political outcomes in the United States” and argued that the people who signed the letter undermined that.
