When the chief justice of the US supreme court, John Roberts, delivered his bombshell ruling last July granting Donald Trump absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts, he laid out his vision of an expansive presidency. The executive, he wrote, should be “vigorous and energetic”, and free to carry out duties “boldly and fearlessly”.

If that sums up Roberts’ ideal occupant of the Oval Office, then he has certainly got what he wants in the 47th president. Jong-Fast also paid homage to self-declared “Democrat Socialist” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and TDS-riddled Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) as examples of “narrating what’s happening.”

You’ve seen Bernie Sanders go in and give town halls where Republicans won’t. Co-host and Democrat donor Gayle King had the lead-in to the interview, swooning “Dylan Mulvaney burst onto the scene as a TikTok star” before fretting “perhaps what made her most famous was controversy” and “was targeted after appearing in…a one-off campaign” for Bud Light.
