White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will hold a press briefing at around 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, a day after the United States seized an oil tanker off the Venezuelan coast.
President Donald Trump said the U.S. seized the tanker on Wednesday.
“We’ve just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela, a large tanker, very large, largest one ever seized, actually,” Trump told reporters at the White House.
He later added that “it was seized for a very good reason.”
